MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Peppered Cornbread

     Yield: 16 Servings

 1 1/2 c  Corn meal
     1 tb A-P flour
     1 tb Sugar
 2 1/4 ts Baking powder
   3/4 ts Salt
   1/2 ts Baking soda
     2 lg Eggs; room temperature,
          - lightly beaten
 8 1/4 oz Can cream-style corn
     1 c  Buttermilk
   2/3 c  Vegetable oil
     2 c  Cheddar cheese; shredded
     1 md Red bell pepper; chopped
     2    Jalapeno peppers;
          - seeded, diced
     5    Green onions; chopped

 In a large bowl, combine the corn meal, flour, sugar, baking
 powder, salt, and baking soda; set aside. In a small bowl, combine
 the eggs, corn, buttermilk, and oil; stir into the dry ingredients
 just until blended. Fold in the cheese, peppers, and onions.

 Pour into a greased 13x9" baking dish. Bake @ 350°F/175°C until a
 toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 30 to 35 minutes.
 Cut into squares; serve warm.
