1. Introduction [Intro1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello everyone. I have been using Wolf for a while now, and I felt the need
to write a guide dedicated to him. Wolf is a quite powerful character, and
has few weaknesses from keeping him from being one of the best characters
in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. General Wolf Information [Genrl1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
This section will include Wolf's biography, history and trophy
descriptions. These will mostly be taken from previous games and Super
Smash Bros. Brawl.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
2.01 Character Description [Descr1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wolf is as his name suggests; a wolf. His primary colours are silver and
white. He has an eye patch over his left eye. The origin of his eye patch
is currently unknown. While slow moving in Brawl, Wolf is quite agile. He
is similar to Fox when it comes to moves, but is quite different when it
comes to style.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
2.02 Background Information [Backg1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wolf O'Donnell comes from the Star Fox universe. His first appearance in
the series was in Star Fox 64, forming Team Star Wolf alongside Andrew
Oikanny, Leon Powalski and Pigma Dengar. Wolf is viewed as an anti-hero
among fans, after saving Fox from death in Star Fox: Assault. Prior to his
appearances in these games, little is actually known about Wolf, and his
background remains largely unknown.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
2.03 Trophy Descriptions [Troph1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here are the descriptions to all trophies related to Wolf.

Trophy Name: Landmaster
Games Shown: Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Trophy Description: Wolf's Final Smash. Wolf analyzed Fox's Landmaster and
built his own improved version, which he now calls out
and boards. He's increased the output of the onboard
generators and upped the vehicle's firepower. However,
this has substantially decreased the time the
Landmaster can appear on the screen. It sports the same
                   colors as Wolf's Wolfen.

Trophy Name: Leon Powalski
Games Shown: Star Fox 64, Star Fox Command
Trophy Description: A member of the Star Wolf team and a cold-blooded
assassin. Without an inkling of goodwill or moral
standing, Leon carries out duties as required by the
job, remaining indifferent and robotic throughout. On
top of his lethal skills, he maintains a solid
reputation as a skilled pilot. Leon has been a teammate
of Wolf's ever since belonging to the Venom army.

Trophy Name: Panther Caroso
Games Shown: Star Fox: Assault, Star Fox Command
Trophy Description: The newest member of the Star Wolf team, rivals of Team
Star Fox. A show-off who often embarrasses his
teammates, he considers himself quite the ladies' cat
and can hardly contain himself from making passes at
attractive females, including Krystal, who he's clearly
smitten with. Panther's trademark is a red rose. All
things said, he's still a highly skilled pilot.

Trophy Name: Wolf
Games Shown: Star Fox 64, Star Fox: Assault
Trophy Description: A pilot whose real name is Wolf O'Donnell. He leads a
group of mercenaries called Star Wolf. He's crossed
paths with Fox many times, and each acknowledges the
other as a competent rival. Wolf's constant
interference with Fox is a result of Wolf's history
with Fox's dad, James. Wolf's long history of criminal
enterprise has resulted in a large bounty on his head.

Trophy Name: Wolfen
Games Shown: Star Fox 64, Star Fox: Assault
Trophy Description: A class of star fighter piloted by Team Star Fox's
rivals, Team Star Wolf. Wolfens boast more gravity-
suppressing plates than Arwings, making their
performance equal or perhaps even superior. When Team
Star Wolf reappeared, they were piloting Wolfen II
ships--improved versions with two laser cannons rather
than one and the capability to reflect attacks by
                   rolling.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. Unlocking Wolf [Unlok1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wolf is probably one of the more difficult characters to unlock. Each
method requires a fair amount of time to accomplish, and one of the methods
is hard to encounter without previous knowledge of its existence. As with
all unlockable characters, you will need to beat the character in a one
life match to unlock them.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
3.01 450 Battles [450Bs1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The first and easiest way to unlock Wolf is to play 450 Battles in Super
Smash Bros. Brawl. This can be in any mode, but is most easily done in VS.
Mode. Here is the fastest way to complete rounds:

1) Go to VS. Mode
2) Select Special Brawl
3) Select both Stamina & Flower mode
4) Set the CPU's Health Points to 1, and set yours as any number higher
  than 1
5) Start the match. It will end immediately, and you will have completed
  one match.

Do that 450 times to get to fight Wolf.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
3.02 Boss Battle [Bossb1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The second method you can go about unlocking Wolf is to beat Boss Battle
Mode with either Fox or Falco. Before being able to do this, you must
unlock Boss Battle Mode. To unlock it, you must complete the Subspace
Emissary and Classic Mode once. Classic Mode can be beaten with any
character, and both Subspace Emissary and Classic Mode can be beaten on any
difficulty.

After unlocking Boss Battle Mode, you must beat it with either Fox or Falco
in order to battle Wolf. This can also be done on any difficulty.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
3.03 Subspace Emissary [Subsp1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The last, and possibly shortest method that you can take to unlock Wolf, is
find him in the Subspace Emissary. You must actually complete Subspace
Emissary before being able to unlock him. You need to go back to a certain
level in the Subspace Emissary, and find him in a hidden place.

Here are the instructions to unlock him:

1) Go to the level "The Ruins".
2) When riding the elevator with the purple spikes, do not enter the first
door you see. Instead, ride the elevator all the way to the bottom and
  enter the red door.
3) You will be teleported to his ship, where you will have to defeat him
  one on one.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
4. Reasons to Use Wolf [Usewf1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wolf is a unique character. He has a nice balance between power and speed,
as well as having fairly well rounded attacks. His recovery is main
downfall, as well as having a high susceptibility to chain grabs.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.01 Strengths [Srgth1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Above average speed
2) Above average range
3) Fairly high weight
4) Good at punishing mistakes
5) Well-balanced and diverse moveset
6) Good air mobility

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.02 Weaknesses [Weakn1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Difficult & predictable recovery
2) Easy to combo/chain grab
3) Weak overall killing power

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
5. Move List [Moves1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here is where the move list for Wolf is. The format I will be using is as
follows:

Button Input:
Damage %:
Number of Hits:
Knockback:
Description:
Usage:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
5.01 Ground Based "A" Attacks [GrndA1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
These are all of Wolf's "A" button attacks while on the ground. On average,
Wolf possesses very good "A" attacks.
___________________________________________________________________________
Button Input: Neutral A
Damage %: 3,2,4
Number of Hits: 3
Knockback: Low
Description: Wolf slashes forward 3 times with his claws
Usage: If hit one connects, the following two are guaranteed. This is a
very safe move, and allows you a little bit of space and time after
connecting. This is a good move to use if your opponent is
       shielding.

___________________________________________________________________________
Button Input: Side A
Damage %: 5,6
Number of Hits: 2
Knockback: Medium
Description: Wolf lunges forward with his claws, and attacks.
Usage: If used at its deceivingly long range, there will be very little
chance that punishing can occur if missed. This attack is not
recommended to be used against shields, as there is a slight pause
after the first hit where you will be left vulnerable.

___________________________________________________________________________
Button Input: Up A
Damage %: 8-10
Number of Hits: 1
Knockback: Low
Description: Wolf jumps up and kicks with his right leg straight upwards.
Usage: Since there is a sweetspot right at the heel of the boot, using
this attack while opponents are on platforms above you will usually
hit it. This attack can also work well as an anti-aerial attack if
they are approaching you from the air at a low level.

___________________________________________________________________________
Button Input: Down A
Damage %: 6
Number of Hits: 1
Knockback: Medium
Description: Wolf crouches and kicks forward with his right leg.
Usage: A good poking move. If used against a wall, you can spam this move
       up until about 50% damage.

___________________________________________________________________________
Button Input: Side A Smash
Damage %: 5, 10
Number of Hits: 2
Knockback: Medium-High
Description: Wolf lunges forward and hits with his claws twice.
Usage: This is a very quick move, and can be used as a great punisher. It
is also one of the more potent killing maneuvers.

___________________________________________________________________________
Button Input: Up A Smash
Damage %: 6, 12
Number of Hits: 2
Knockback: High
Description: Wolf kicks upwards, then clicks his heels together at the top
            of the jump.
Usage: Sets people up to be juggled. It has a large amount of startup lag,
but can still be punishing if timed correctly.

___________________________________________________________________________
Button Input: Down A Smash
Damage %: 14 (Front) Or 13 (Back)
Number of Hits: 1
Knockback: High
Description: Wolf swipes with his claws forward and then backwards.
Usage: This is your best killing move. It can also be used to get the
opponent up to a higher damage. Keeping it fresh will be key, as if
it becomes stale it will be difficult to K.O. the opponent.

___________________________________________________________________________
Button Input: Running A
Damage %: 9
Number of Hits: 1
Knockback: Low-Medium
Description: Wolf charges and then does a backflip.
Usage: Not much use, this is a pretty poor choice of attack.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
5.02 Aerial Based "A" Attacks [AirlA1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
These are all of Wolf's "A" button attacks while in the air. On average,
Wolf possesses pretty good "A" attacks.

___________________________________________________________________________
Button Input: Neutral A
Damage %: 8, 1
Number of Hits: ?
Knockback: Low
Description: Wolf spins while in the air.
Usage: If you hit right away, you can knock the opponent back a little
bit, and it can be used for edgeguarding. I find it pretty poor
overall, and it sees very little use.

___________________________________________________________________________
Button Input: Forward A
Damage %: 11
Number of Hits: 1
Knockback: Medium
Description: Wolf slashes forward while in the air.
Usage: This is a very versatile move. It can be used to advance, get the
       opponent away, or to retreat.

___________________________________________________________________________
Button Input: Backward A
Damage %: 13
Number of Hits: 1
Knockback: Medium
Description: Wolf extends his leg backwards to hit the enemy with his leg.
Usage: This is your best approaching move. It has a very high priority and
very little lag. It is also hard to punish. If fresh, it pushes the
opponent back a decent amount, and if stale, it will allow for you
       to use a smash.

___________________________________________________________________________
Button Input: Up A
Damage %: 12
Number of Hits: 1
Knockback: Medium
Description: Wolf slashes his claw upwards.
Usage: This move is really only good for juggling, as forward & backward A
are usually better options for anything else.

___________________________________________________________________________
Button Input: Down A
Damage %: 15
Number of Hits: 1
Knockback: High
Description: Wolf pounds straight down with both hands while in the air.
Usage: This move is mostly used to spike your opponent. It is pretty slow,
so getting it off can be difficult.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
5.03 Special Moves [Bmove1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
These are all of Wolf's "B" button attacks. On average, Wolf possesses
decent "B" attacks.

___________________________________________________________________________
Button Input: Neutral B
Damage %: 4 (Gun), 6 (Close hit with shot), 5 (Medium hit with shot)
Number of Hits: 1-2
Knockback: Low
Description: Wolf takes out his gun and fires off a single shot.
Usage: This move has many uses. It can get the opponent away from you
quickly. It can be used as a camping device and used to edgeguard
the opponent. If used in the air, it gives you a slight momentum
       boost as well.

___________________________________________________________________________
Button Input: Side B
Damage %: 10-15
Number of Hits: 1-2
Knockback: Low-Medium
Description: Wolf jumps diagonally forward at a 30 degree angle.
Usage: The most obvious use for this move is for recovery. At the finish
of this attack, there is a spiking opportunity. This works well if
the enemy is trying to edgeguard you, because while they are
hanging there, if you use this attack it is basically an auto
       spike.

___________________________________________________________________________
Button Input: Up B
Damage %: 11
Number of Hits: ?
Knockback: Low
Description: Wolf jumps and kicks at the end of the jump.
Usage: Recovery is really the only use for this move. It is quite poor
when trying to attack with it.

___________________________________________________________________________
Button Input: Down B
Damage %: 3
Number of Hits: 1
Knockback: Low
Description: Wolf turns on his pink reflector.
Usage: You can reflect projectiles with this attack. It is also good for
getting out of combos, as there is a slight stun after the attack.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
5.04 Throws [Throw1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
These are all of Wolf's throws. On average, Wolf possesses decent throw
attacks.

___________________________________________________________________________
Button Input: Grab
Damage %: 1
Number of Hits: As many as you can get away with
Knockback: None
Description: Wolf knees the opponent.
Usage: After grabbing, try to get a couple of these in. They will just add
to the damage, and there is nothing that the opponent can do about
       them.

___________________________________________________________________________
Button Input: Forward Grab
Damage %: 7
Number of Hits: 1
Knockback: Medium
Description: Wolf throws the opponent forward.
Usage: Not very useful. If near the edge, you can try to spike them
       afterwards.

___________________________________________________________________________
Button Input: Backward Grab
Damage %: 7
Number of Hits: 1
Knockback: Low-Medium
Description: Wolf throws the opponent backward.
Usage: Not very useful.

___________________________________________________________________________
Button Input: Up Grab
Damage %: 7
Number of Hits: 1
Knockback: Medium
Description: Wolf throws the opponent up.
Usage: None, this is your worst throw.

___________________________________________________________________________
Button Input: Down Grab
Damage %: 12
Number of Hits: 1
Knockback: Medium
Description: Wolf throws the opponent down.
Usage: This is the best throw Wolf gets. After the throw, you can follow
up with almost anything, leaving you in a good position.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
5.05 Final Smash [FSmsh1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wolf's Final Smash differs from Fox's and Falco's. It only lasts for 12
seconds, but it is stronger. Use it well.

Button Input: A or B
Damage %: 18

Knockback: High
Description: The Landmaster shoots a laser across the screen.
Usage: You need to get into position to use this, as the Landmaster is too
tall to hit most characters while flat on the ground with this
move. This is a good killing move if it can hit. It also has
infinite ammo, so use it as much as you like.

Description: The Landmaster flies straight upwards.
Usage: If an opponent lands on top of the Landmaster, you can hold the

that if you go too high, you can die, so stop after they are
       K.O.'d.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
5.06 Taunts [Taunt1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sadly none of Wolf's taunts are useful, but some of them are pretty nice,
so I'll list them for you.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
This only covers his ledge attacks.

Knockback: Medium
Description: Wolf hops up from the ledge and does a baseball slide towards
            the opponent.

the ledge, but can be somewhat effective.

___________________________________________________________________________
Button Input: A or B
Damage %: 10
Number of Hits: 1
Knockback: Medium
Description: Wolf gets up from the ledge slowly before doing a quick flip
            heel kick.

       is usually more effective.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
6. General Strategies [Strat1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wolf needs some advanced techniques in order to be used to his full extent.
These techniques are here to help you become a better fighter, as well as
helping you avoid his weaknesses.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
6.01 Meteor Smashing [Mteor1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meteor smashing is one of the techniques that comes with being an overall
good player. If used properly, it can be one of the better ways for a Wolf
player to get kills. It is especially important to do against heavier
opponents, and will actually be easier against them, as they typically do
not have a good recovery.

Wolf has two moves that can meteor smash. His Side B and Down A in the air
are those two moves. The Down A Aerial is the one you will be using the
most. When the opponent is recovering, jump above them and use this move.
If it hits, they will probably be K.O'd if over 50% damage. Side B only
spikes if it hits with the end of the attack. This is really only useful if
the opponent attempts to edgeguard you. The will usually end up Meteor
Smashed if the hold on to the ledge.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
6.02 DACUS [DACUS1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
DACUS stands for 'D'ash 'A'ttack 'C'ancelled 'U'p 'S'mash. This is a
technique that allows Wolf to Dash, while charging an Up Smash. It allows
for a greater offensive, allowing you to get opponents who would normally
not get hit by your Up Smash. It is really only viable on the GameCube
controller, so that is what these instructions will be for. The
instructions to do this are as follows:

1) Start your dash
2) Press down on the C-Stick
3) Immediantly after step 2, press Z and Up on the control stick.

That's it. If you did it right, you will slide and perform you Up Smash.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7. Matchups [Mchup1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
To be fair, Wolf does not have a very good matchup list. There are few
characters that give Wolf an easy match, and you will need to have a good
gameplan in order to win. Here is where you can find out the best
strategies to use against the other characters you will face in Super Smash
Bros. Brawl.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.01 Mario [Mario1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Mario is a pretty tricky character. He has decent combos,
quick moves and decent knockback. He can also really harm your
recovery with his FLUDD. Sticking to basics and avoiding his
combos and Fireballs should give you a slight advantage.

Matchup Favors: Wolf (55-45)

Tips:
1) Try not to use the reflector against Mario's Fireballs. He will just
dodge them, and then punish the lag when coming out of the Reflector.
Try to Power Shield them instead.
2) If you are in a combo, use the Reflector to escape from it.
3) Mario has poor range, so use your Blaster to try and rack some damage
  while he is approaching.
4) Wolf's Backwards Aerial has a higher priority than most of Mario's
moves, so use it to your advantage.
5) If knocked off the stage, recover as quickly as possible, as Mario's
FLUDD will completely mess up your recovery. Wolf's recovery is already
below average, so being moved farther from the stage is very
  detrimental.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.02 Luigi [Luigi1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Luigi has a very good aerial game, and will be using his
Neutral Aerial quite often. It is usually a good idea to stay
on the ground because of this. If will be fairly easy to stop
Luigi's ground approach with Wolf's blaster, but if you get
into the higher percentages, be aware, as Luigi has good
            killing power.

Matchup Favors: Wolf (55-45)

Tips:
1) Luigi's best ground approach option is his Tornado. Wolf's Blaster can
  stop this.
2) Watch out for Luigi's killing power, especially his Up B move.
3) Despite having a very good Backwards Aerial, try to stay out of the air
when fighting Luigi, as Luigi has a better overal aerial game.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.03 Peach [Peach1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Peach's main strategy will be to knock Wolf off of the stage.
After Peach does this, it can be very difficult to recover.
Peach will be using Neutral Aerial to try and hinder your
recovery. It would be very wise to avoid her racket, as it can
send Wolf off the stage at low angles. Peach lacks actual
killing moves however, so if you can stay on the stage, you
will be in a better position.

Matchup Favors: Neither (50-50)

Tips:
1) It is much more practical to use your shield against the Turnips rather
  than the Reflector.
2) Peach can chaingrab at low percentages, but can only do that up to
  around 30%
3) Watch out for Peach trying to poke your shield.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.04 Bowser [Bwser1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Bowser can be a tough matchup for Wolf if he gets close
enough. Bowser can come out of his shield with many different
attack, that can end up dealing a lot of damage. Bowser has a
good way of edgeguarding Wolf, using his Fire to stop you from
            getting back to the stage.

Matchup Favors: Wolf (55-45)

Tips:
1) Bowser will have a difficult time approaching, while taking damage if
you continue to use your Blaster.
2) Keep your distance. If you feel the need to approach, use your Backwards
  Aerial.
3) Once Bowser makes his way over, think carefully about which attacks to
use against him, because if you mess up, you may lose a stock.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.05 Donkey Kong [DnkyK1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Donkey Kong is another large opponent that can be hurt by the
Blaster. His main approaching method will be his Backwards
Aerial, which can be countered with Wolf's Backwards Aerial.
Donkey Kong does have very good Killing Power, and make sure
to avoid the fully charged B move. That being said, don't
alter your gameplan all that much just to avoid it.

Matchup Favors: Neither (50-50)

Tips:
1) Camping will be a key in this match. Donkey Kong cannot do all that
  much to avoid the Blaster.
2) Mix in Aerial Blasters every now and then, as it can help stop
approaches, as well as poke shields.
3) Avoid rolling towards Donkey Kong.
4) After Doney Kong's Up B, he becomes very easy to spike.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.06 Diddy Kong [Diddy1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Diddy Kong, can be difficult, especially if he uses his
Bananas to their full extent. Wolf can actually use these
Bananas well, and can smash Diddy after a trip. As per usual,
staying on the stage is a key to do well, as Diddy can gimp.

Matchup Favors: Neither (50-50)

Tips:
1) Using Diddy Kong's bananas against him will help you win, but may be
  difficult to obtain.
2) You can grab Bananas in mid-air with a Short Hopped Forward Aerial.
3) Use the Reflector to break up combos that Diddy may get against you.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.07 Yoshi [Yoshi1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Yoshi is actually a good opponent for Wolf to face. He has
limited approaching moves, and the only thing he can do to
break up the repeated Blaster shots is his Egg Toss. Yoshi can
edgeguard quite well, but lacks a good killing move. Despite
Yoshi's Aerial game being above average, Wolf's Backwards
Aerial is actually better than anything he can use against
            Wolf.

Matchup Favors: Wolf (60-40)

Tips:
1) Unlike some other projectiles, using the Relfector against the Egg Throw
is preferred more than a simple shield.
2) Yoshi has a chaingrab, but it is very hard to pull off against Wolf, so
  don't worry about it.
3) Almost every element of Wolf's game is better than Yoshi's.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.08 Wario [Wario1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Wario is a really tough opponent to face. He can approach
really well, and has good aerials. Wolf's Backwards and
Forwards Aerial can stop him some of the time, but Wario's
            overall speed will be difficult.

Matchup Favors: Wario (60-40)

Tips:
1) Retreating Forward Aerials are one of the best ways to stop Wario.
2) Attempting to stop Wario's approaching with the Blaster may work for a
  while.
3) Once Wario get near, you are in trouble. Try to use the Reflector to
break out and either escape or attempt an attack.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.09 Link [uLink1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Link isn't all that tough. A good Link will throw his bomb at
the bottom of your Reflector though, so reflecting is usually
not an option. Link has very poor recovery, and after using
his Up B, he is easy to spike. Using your Blaster will force
Link to approach, allowing you to beat him.

Matchup Favors: Wolf (60-40)

Tips:
1) Use your shield or roll away from Link's bomb, as they will throw it so
  that you cannot reflect it.
2) Link's recovery is very bad, so try to spike or edgeguard him.
3) Seriously, Link sucks.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.10 Zelda [Zelda1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Going against Zelda requires a different strategy than most.
She cannot be stalled all that much by your Blaster, and can
actually do more damage to you than you can do to her in the
projectile game. The key in this battle it to get Zelda in the
air. One the ground, the battle is fairly even, but in the air
Zelda is slow, and Wolf has a large advantage.

Matchup Favors: Wolf (60-40)

Tips:
1) Trying to spam projectiles won't work against Zelda.
2) You will have to approach Zelda, so use your aerials.
3) In the air, Wolf has a large advantage.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.11 Shiek [Shiek1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Shiek is quite fast, and has the advantage agiainst Wolf. Your
best bet to win if to hope that they will switch back into
Zelda. Shiek's Forward A will really hurt you, and can
actually be hard to escape if spammed.

Matchup Favors: Shiek (60-40)

Tips:
1) You can to try and spam Blaster against Shiek, as the only way she can
block it is with her shield.
2) Use the Reflector against her projectile.
3) Shiek's best killing moves are on the ground. In the air, Shiek has low
  power.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.12 Ganondorf [Ganon1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Ganondorf is one of the best matchups for Wolf, and many other
characters. He is large, slow and lacks projectiles. You can
either use the Blaster to beat his approaching, attack from
the ground, or attack from the air. As long as you keep
attacking, you will have an easy match.

Matchup Favors: Wolf (70-30)

Tips:
1) Using your Blaster against Ganondorf will make it very hard for him to
approach, and by the time he gets there, he will be at a high enough
  damage to KO.
2) Keep attacking, or dodge the ocassional attack that Ganondorf gets off.
You could get off with taking very little damage throughout the enitre
  match.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.13 Toon Link [TLink1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Toon Link can be very annoying. His projectiles can all be
reflected except for his bomb which will be thrown in such a
way that you will be unable to counter it. You will probably
have to be the one to approach him, as he has more camping
            ability.

Matchup Favors: Neither (50-50)

Tips:
1) Your Forward Smash can be used to negate both Toon Link's Boomerang and
  Arrows.
2) If he misses his Grab, punish it with a charged Down Smash.
3) Toon Link's Backwards Aerial can juggle you, watch out for it.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.14 Samus [Samus1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Samus get beaten by Wolf in pretty much every area. This is
especially true while on the ground, as Samus lacks any
realistic Killing Power. In fact, Samus' strongest attack can
be reflected. The battle is only close while in the air, but
only thanks to Samus' Z Aerial. It has enough range to disrupt
            your attacks.

Matchup Favors: Wolf (60-40)

Tips:
1) If Samus unleashes a fully charged B attack, reflect it.
2) Samus' missiles are not usually used to do much damage, so go ahead and
shield them if they won't impede her progress by reflecting them.
3) Samus has very poor killing ability, so go ahead and get close to her.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.15 Zero Suit Samus [uZSSu1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Zero Suit Samus is a more difficult matchup than Samus, if
only because there are more things to look out for. For
instance, it should be noted that going above her is usually a
poor choice, because both her Up B and Upward Smash will
punish you. Reflecting the armor pieces should also be
avoided, as it can lead into more damage than you would like.

Matchup Favors: Wolf (55-45)

Tips:
1) Don't reflect the armor pieces.
2) Avoid going directly above her.
3) Air battles will be won by Wolf's Backwards Aerial.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.16 Pit [uPitu1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Pit can be quite difficult to deal with. To begin, if you get
grabbed early, you can easily have 30% damage done to you.
Also, if you are knocked off stage, be prepared to dodge some
arrows depending on how good the opponenet is with them. You
could easily be gimped with arrows, so try to stay as close to
            the stage as possible.

Matchup Favors: Pit (55-45)

Tips:
1) Use Reflector right at the beginning of the match. Many Pits lead
with an arrow, and they will take one right to the face if you use the
  Reflector.
2) Two Forward Smashes can punish a Pit user who spams Side B. The first
smash will stop it, the second will hit Pit.
3) Try as hard as you can to stay on the stage, or Pit's arrows will stop
  your recovery.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.17 Ice Climbers [Climb1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Do not get grabbed. The Ice Climbers have a great grab, and
you could end up nearly dead by the time you get away. Sitting
and using your Blaster should work fairly well. Try to not go
above them, as their Upwards A might land, allowing them to
            grab you afterwards.

Matchup Favors: Ice Climbers (55-45)

Tips:
1) Do not get grabbed.
2) If one of them dies, the other is easily spiked.
3) Do not get grabbed.
4) If both Ice Climbers are alive, reflecting their Neutral B will have it
cancel itself out, as there are two blocks of ice.
5) Do not get grabbed.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.18 R.O.B. [uROBu1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Once R.O.B. is in the air, he is more or less useless, so get
him up as soon and often as you can. You can also try and
Blaster spam him, as his only projectile is easily
reflected/shielded. He is then forced to attack from the air,
allowing you to begin a juggle.

Matchup Favors: R.O.B. (55-45)

Tips:
1) Get R.O.B. airborn. He will be virtually finished.
2) Try to avoid getting knocked off the stage, as he can kill you once off.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.19 Kirby [Kirby1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Kirby's main strategy will be to get Wolf off the stage. The
best thing to avoid this is stay away from the edge. Kirby
will attempt to Kirbycide if he gets you near the edge.
Kirby's best damaging and killing move is his Forward Smash,
and if blocked will leave hime vulnerable. A retreating
Backwards Aerial is almost unpunishable, even when perfect
            shielded.

Matchup Favors: Neither (50-50)

Tips:
1) Try not to be dircetly under Kirby, as his Downwards Aerial/Rock can
  hurt you.
2) The only thing that can hurt Kirby when in his rock is a grab.
3) Until Kirby absorbs you, Wolf can spam his Blaster to force an approach.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.20 Meta Knight [MKnht1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Stay away from this matchup. Meta Knight is Wolf's worst
matchup. The main strategy that you can employ is to stay away
from Meta Knight. If you force an approach, try to keep the
battle on the ground. If you are forced off stage, you can be
in trouble, as Meta Knight can easily gimp your recovery.

Matchup Favors: Meta Knight (65-35)

Tips:
1) Grabbing Meta Knight often can help you in this matchup.
2) Blaster spamming is your best choice to keep Meta Knight away while
  doing damage.
3) Backwards Aerial is your best choice if forced into the air.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.21 King Dedede [uKDDD1]

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Another character that you don't want to be grabbed against is
King Dedede. The best strategy is the usual one, spam your
Blaster. King Dedede also has projectiles, but the rate in
which he can throw them is slower than you can shoot the
Blaster. If knocked off stage, King Dedede's Backwards Aerial
will really hurt your recovery. He can also Dededecide, so
try and play in the middle of the stage.

Matchup Favors: King Dedede (65-35)

Tips:
1) Kill all the Waddle Dees and Waddle Doos if you get a free moment.
2) You can outcamp Dedede, forcing an approach.
3) If a Gordo comes out at you, you can reflect it back at him.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.22 Captain Olimar [Olimr1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Olimar is a unique character. Wolf shouldn't have much trouble
outcamping him. The Pikmin will only block the Blaster's shots
for a short while, and eventually will run out. Olimar's
recovery is quite poor, so get him off stage whenever
            possible.

Matchup Favors: Wolf (55-45)

Tips:
1) Neutral Aerial will get rid of every Pikmin on you.
2) Always get rid of Pikmin that are on you.
3) Wolf can outcamp Olimar with Blaster.
4) Gimping Olimar after he is off the stage is easy to do.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.23 Fox [uFoxu1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Let the camping wars begin. Fox's laser won't be doing much
here, but neither will Wolf's. Fox will most likely be more
pressured into the approach. Wolf will have trouble damaging
Fox with anything other than a smash, while Fox will spend
most of the match looking for mistakes to punish.

Matchup Favors: Wolf (55-45)

Tips:
1) Fox can't reflect your Blaster back enough to hit you, but you can
reflect Fox's laser back to him.
2) Fox's Fire Fox can be interrupted by Wolf's Backwards Aerial.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.24 Falco [Falco1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Falco is another character that has a very good chaingrab
chance. If he chaingrabs you, you will take a lot of damage.
You want to keep you space in this match. When Falco trys to
recover, use your Blaster to stop it.

Matchup Favors: Falco (60-40)

Tips:
1) Taking a bit of laser damage is okay, but reflecting it back is a good
  idea.
2) If you are chaingrabbed near the edge, Falco will probably try and spike
you when you go off the edge. It is possible to tech this spike. Here is
a video showing how to do it:
  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFgf2EKYB4g

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.25 Captain Falcon [Cptin1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Treat Captain Falcon as a more mobile Ganondorf. He is still
quite poor, and his stronger moves are very slow. He can
actually rack up some damage, but will have a tough time
finishing. He will be forced to approach while you use your
            Blaster.

Matchup Favors: Wolf (65-35)

Tips:
1) Camp and spam Blaster to deal damage, finish him with whatever you
  please.
2) Avoid the Knee, as it is his best killing move.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.26 Pikachu [uPika1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Pikachu is another character that can chaingrab you up to
rediculous percentages. The difference here is that Pikachu
can actually move around the stage in a quick fashion. Pikachu
will gimp your recovery, while you can do little to gimp his.

Matchup Favors: Pikachu (60-40)

Tips:
1) Do not try to use the Reflector to avoid Thunder, it isn't worth it.
2) In the air, Backwards Aerial will beat everything that Pikachu has.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.27 Squirtle [Sqrtl1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Squirtle is difficult to deal with. He is quick, small and has
fast moves. If yo ucan rack up damage against him, he is very
easy to kill though. He also has a tough time killing you.
Staying on the ground is your best bet.

Matchup Favors: Squirtle (55-45)

Tips:
1) Water Gun will be used to try and gimp your recovery.
2) Use your Blaster to try and keep Squirtle away from you.
3) Stay on the ground.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.28 Ivysaur [Ivysr1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Ivysaur is easier to deal with than Squirtle. Ivysaur is
easily outcamped, and lacks quick attacks to deal with Wolf.
Wolf has a better air game, but Ivysaur is good at picking
            people out of the air.

Matchup Favors: Wolf (60-40)

Tips:
1) Ivysaur has poor recovery, so gimp it if Ivysaur is knocked off stage.
2) Watch out for Ivysaur's smash attacks, as they are quite strong.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.29 Charizard [Chrzd1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Charizard is very large, and quite slow. In the air and on the
ground, Wolf is much faster. Charizard can do some damage,
especially with his Rock Smash, but keeping your distance will
make sure he doesn't get it off.

Matchup Favors: Wolf (55-45)

Tips:
1) Don't try to gimp Charizard's recovery, you will end up losing a stock.
2) Try and keep your distance, Charizard has some strong moves.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.30 Lucario [uLuke1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Kill Lucario early. Lucario does the most damage at high
percentages. To accomplish this, try to avoid using Downward
Smash until you get Lucario into the middle percentages. You
will have a good advantage in the air with both Forward and
            Backwards Aerial moves.

Matchup Favors: Neither (50-50)

Tips:
1) Reflect Aura Sphere back if Lucario sends it towards you.
2) If you get the chance, KO early.
3) If Lucario is far away, his recovery will have to grab the ledge. Hang
on, and he will lose a stock.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.31 Jigglypuff [Jigly1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Jigglypuff poses very little threat against Wolf. On the
ground, she gets torn up, and in the air, she has no attacks
that are better than Wolf's aerials. She needs to deal a lot
of damage to get a KO, and is beaten at very low damage.

Matchup Favors: Wolf (70-30)

Tips:
1) Blaster will force Jigglypuff to approach where she will be beaten.
2) There are only two things to look out for: Rollout and Downward Aerial
to Drill combo. Apart from that, have fun.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.32 Marth [Marth1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Marth needs to apply pressure in order to be sucessful. You
will be forcing him to approach with the Blaster. He will try
to approach with his Froward Aerial. It is a very fast attack
with little lag. You want to be underneath him if you are in
the air, so that you can avoid his Forward Aerial.

Matchup Favors: Neither (50-50)

Tips:
1) Marth's Up B is super fast, and can come out of anywhere. Even when you
think you have a combo going, he can use his Up B.
2) Try and stay on stage if you can, because of the aforementioned Forwared
  Aerial.
3) Stay below Marth in the air, his Downward Aerial has a large amount of
  lag if it misses.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.33 Ike [uIkeu1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Ike is another slow and powerful character. His recovery is
poor, so gimp it whenever possible. Using your Blaster
whenever possible will also damage Ike. Ike has a couple
decently fast attacks, and can get the occasional spike on
            you.

Matchup Favors: Wolf (60-40)

Tips:
1) Gimp Ike's recovery whenver you get a chance.
2) Spam Blaster, as Ike is very bad against campers.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.34 Ness [uNess1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Ness has a pretty good aerial game, but is weak on the ground.
This is where you want to get him. You can't spam Blaster in
this match, as Ness will absorb your shots. Trying to
edgeguard Ness' recovery is difficult, as it will probably KO
you to be hit by his Up B.

Matchup Favors: Wolf (55-45)

Tips:
1) Stay on the ground, and Ness will have difficulty doing much.
2) Do not use your Blaster except to try and stop a recovery.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.35 Lucas [Lucas1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Lucas is a better matchup for Wolf than Ness is. Most of the
same tactics that are used against Ness apply here. Stay away
from using the Blaster, and don't edgeguard his recovery. The
one major difference is that Lucas has a teather grab, so some
approaches will be harder, as you can be caught in the tether.

Matchup Favors: Wolf (60-40)

Tips:
1) Stay on the ground, and Lucas will have difficulty doing much.
2) Do not use your Blaster except to try and stop a recovery.
3) Spacing is difficult due to his Teather Grab.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.36 Mr. Game and Watch [uMGaW1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Mr. Game and Watch is a character that you must be patient
when fighting. If you charge in, you will be beaten. Mr. Game
and Watch has invincibility in the first half of his Up B, so
don't try and gimp his recovery at that point. Watch out for
            mistakes, and punish them.

Matchup Favors: Neither (50-50)

Tips:
1) Don't go below him, his Downwrd Aerial has very high priority.
2) Try not to Blaster Spam him, it'll fill up his Oil Spill.
3) You can tech his Downward Throw. If you do, he can't follow it up with a
  Downward Smash.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.37 Snake [Snake1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Snake has a good camping game, but Wolf is one of the better
characters to handle it. If he cooks his grenades, your
Blaster's laser will take it out. If they aren't cooked, pick
them up and throw them back. When recoverying, try for a spike
            with Downward Aerial.

Matchup Favors: Snake (55-45)

Tips:
1) Attack him to force him off stage. Camping won't do all that well here.
2) Spike if you get the chance.
3) Snake can be juggled easily with Upwards Aerial.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.38 Sonic [Sonic1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Sonic is very good at gimping recovery. For a Wolf player,
this is not a good thing. Wolf will want to stay on the
ground, and continue using powerful attacks. If knocked far
off the stage, it is most likely a lost stock. Sonic lacks
power and priority though, so knocking you off the stage can
            be a problem.

Matchup Favors: Wolf (55-45)

Tips:
1) Try to avoid getting knock far off the stage.
2) Stay on the ground, Sonic has poor ground moves.
3) Blaster spamming works once again.
