1.0 WHAT THIS FAQ IS / HOW TO USE:::

This lists the types of attacks for each character (as in Arm/Leg/Flame etc.
attacks). This is so you know what sticker types work for each attack, in the
Subspace Emissary. I've added in some other notes for some characters, and
other things about stickers as well.
I'm sure there are quite a few people who are confused as to how some of
these stickers work, and what stickers work for each attack. I've tried to
explain it the best I could.
I've looked through each character's moveset in Training Mode. The attack
types of some attacks are blatantly obvious, and some I've had to fiddle
around with swapping in/out stickers in the Subspace Emissary to see what
kind of attack it was.
To use this guide, press CTRL+F and type in the number inside the parentheses
(on the table of contents), for the section you want to go to. For example,
if you want to go to Samus' section, type in 3.14 ... simple as that.

I didn't include [Arm]/[Leg] because that's just a sticker type, [Arm]/[Leg]
type stickers have the exact same effect as a plain [Arm] or [Leg] sticker
(except, of course, that [Arm]/[Leg] stickers effect both attack types, while
the others only affect the listed attack type).
Some attacks may have more than one attack type. A good example are special
attacks, for example, Mario's fireball is both a [Flame] and a
[Specials: Indirect] attack, so the attack would get benefit from both kinds
of stickers. If you have 2 different stickers with a [Flame] and
[Specials: Indirect] effect, the fireball would gain benefit from both at the
same time (the effects stack).
Throwing stickers apply to ALL attacks that are used by pressing a direction
while grabbing someone. They do NOT apply to attacks used by pressing A while
grabbing someone.

2.1 Other things about stickers
===============================
All attack stickers increase damage by a % amount. For example, if you have
an [Arm] attack that normally does 20 damage, having a +30 [Arm] sticker
would increase the 20 damage by 30% and therefore deal 26 damage. (No, it
wouldn't do 50 damage!)
Using more than 1 sticker with the same type will NOT stack. If you have a
+10 [Arm] sticker and a +20 [Arm] sticker on the same character, it would
only take the effect of the better one, so you'd only get the effect of the
+20 sticker.
[Attack Resistance] stickers, like [Electric Resistance] etc, reduce damage
taken by that type of attack by a % amount. If you were wearing a +25
[Electric Resistance] sticker against an electric attack normally doing 50
damage, it would do 25 instead.
[Battering Resistance] works on any physical attack against you, like a
punch, kick, sword, or mostly anything from short range. Battering resistance
will not protect against anything like flame, electricity, magic, etc, just
physical blows. Battering attacks can also be from a thrown weapon, like
Peach's B+DOWN or throwing a home-run bat.
[Launch Resistance] stickers are weird, and have taken me a while to figure
out. They're a bit different from damage and attack resistance stickers. If
you have 75% damage, and you have a +50 [Launch Resistance] sticker, it would
act as if you only had 50%. Having a +100 [Launch Resistance] sticker would
make having 75% act as if you had 37%. So, a +100 [Launch Resistance] sticker
actually just halves your percent, and a +50 sticker takes off one-third of
it. I hope that made sense. Basically, your Wario with his massive +57
resistance sticker isn't as godly as you thought. It's still VERY useful
though. There is no +100 sticker, but I've mostly figured out the mechanics
of this kind of sticker and this is just an example.
[Flinch Resistance] stickers, I have NO idea how they work. I've only really
noticed one thing. On Wario I have a +49 sticker (Chao), and it seems like he
doesn't flinch at all from small attacks doing about 1-5% damage. With King
Dedede, I have a +140 sticker (Cook Kirby), and when he's at lower
percentages (like 0 to 60-ish percent) he doesn't flinch from ANY attacks at
all, but when he's at higher percentages, he'll start flinching from things
he didn't before (kind of like using a metal box). Of course, even at very
high percentages (150+%), Dedede won't flinch at the weak 1-5% damage
attacks. I have a +42 or +49 sticker on almost every character I use, because
it really helps against Blaster Primids' weak shots, Armight's first 2 hits
of his combo attack, and those floating metallic balls with the spinning
blades (name escapes me at the moment).
[Launch Power] stickers, thankfully, aren't weird like Launch Resistance. If
you have a +50 sticker, and you hit someone with 50%, it acts as if they have
75%. If you had a +100 sticker (again, example) and you hit someone with 50%,
it would act as if they had 100%.
[Food Effect] stickers increase the percentage healed by food (not maxim
tomatoes or heart containers) by a flat amount. This means a strawberry,
normally healing 1%, would heal 5% with a +4 [Food Effect] sticker, or a
chicken leg, normally healing 11%, would heal 15%.

Q. What's the difference between Energy and Electric attacks?
A. Honestly, I've just had to check each character and mess around with
Energy/Electric stickers. Attacks that shoot from guns are always Energy
attacks (unless they explode). Lasers are always Energy.
Q. What's the difference between Flame and Explosive attacks?
A. It mostly has to do with the graphic and sound it makes. Explosions have
smoke after the red/orange boom, and Explosives will always make a "boom"
sound. Possible exceptions to the graphic thing are Snake's Explosive
attacks which have unique graphics from any other. As for Flame attacks,
they will not make smoke, and have a burning sound.
