Hello, Woo-Jin Song again, I decided to write this particular FAQ due to
the request of VeghEsther and for anyone else who has the Japanese version
of Wild Arms: the Vth Vanguard. Note that these translations are not
official and when the US version gets released I will adjust my FAQ
accordingly to American translation, the official translations will be put
in parentheses where the name does not somewhat match up. To view the
Japanese text you will need to shift your browser to Shift-JIS now then on
to the purpose of this FAQ. If you have any questions or comments you can

Original Commands [OC]
============================================================
These are magic spells that have various effects when used; there are
several main types of Original Commands; Attack, Parameter Up, Parameter
Down, and then your miscellaneous ones. You must have a medium equipped to
be able to use any of the Original Commands. In this section as well as
the Force Ability section I will list the medium and then which Original
Commands that particular medium has. Each medium has five Original
Commands to learn for a total of 30.

Medium of Heaven (Sky Medium)
ブラスト:Blast - Use Fire, Wind, Earth, Water and Devastate by standing in
the particular Fire, Wind, Earth, Water Leypoint and any other hex to use
Devastate, Damage Factor 175. Learn at Level 2
アブソーブ:Absorb - Drain l0% of character's max MP from enemy and transfer
it to character. Learn at Level 12
ハイ ブラスト:High Blast - Use Hi-Fire, Hi-Wind, Hi-Earth, Hi-Water and
Hi-Devastate by standing in the particular Fire, Wind, Earth, Water
Leypoint and any other Hex to use Hi-Devastate, Damage Factor 215. Learn
at Level 25
エンデュランス:Endurance - Increase the length of time a effect is on the
hex. Learn at Level 50
サクリファス:Sacrifice - Expend character's HP to deal non-elemental damage
to the enemy hex upon use this puts character in critical status. Learn at
Level 90

ヒール:Heal - Restore small amount of ally HP, Recovery factor 200. Learn
at Level 2
リヴァイワ:Revival - Restore an ally from unconscious into user's Hex.
Learn at Level 12
ハイ ヒール:High Heal - Restore larger amount of ally HP, Recovery factor
400. Learn at Level 25
パッシヴリアクト:Passive React - Decrease enemy hex DP and EP. Learn at
Level 50
ハイ リヴァイワ:High Revival - Restore an ally to Max HP from unconscious
into users Hex. Learn at Level 90

クラッシュ:Crush - Borrow Hex characteristic to deal physical damage to
enemy, Damage Factor 190. Learn at Level 2
クイック:Quick - Increase Hex Reaction and Evasion. Learn at Level 12

physical damage to enemy, Damage Factor 230. Learn at Level 25
ポジティヴリアクト:Positive React - Increase Hex DP and EP. Learn at level 50

アイテムスティール:Item Steal - Steal enemy item. Learn at Level 2
フラジャイル:Fragile - Decrease Hex Defense and Resistance. Learn at Level

ライフドレイン:Life Drain - Drain HP from enemy and transfer it to character.

レアスティール:Rare Steal - Steal enemy rare item. Learn at Level 90

プロテクト:Protect - Increase Hex Defense and Magic Resistance. Learn at
Level 2
ターンシフト:Turn Shift - Next character in rotation gets an extra turn.
Learn at Level 12.
シャットアウト:Shutout - Prevent entry or exit from affected Hex. Learn at
Level 25
リインフォース:Reinforce - Increase the amount of FP received for actions.
Learn at Level 50
リジェネレイション:Regeneration - At the beginning of each turn HP recovery
for affected Hex. Learn at Level 90
Medium of Moon
ヂィスペル:Dispel - Remove all positive effects on targeted Hex. Learn at
Level 2.
リプレス:Replace - Switch Hex positions with another ally or enemy. Learn
at Level 12.
ギャザー:Gather - Gather all allies or enemies into one Hex. Learn at Level
25
アレソレイト:Isolate - Separate all allies or enemies randomly into
different Hex. Learn at Level 50.
ランドスティール:Landscape - Acquire all negative and positive effects from
targeted Hex and transfer to users Hex. Learn at Level 90

Force Abilities [FA]
============================================================
Force abilities are special commands you can do, they all require a
specific amount of FP before they are available for use and have different
effects, Combination Arts fall underneath the category of Force Abilities.
Each medium has four force abilities to learn and each character has a
Combination Art with another character, totaling 24 Force abilities and 15
Combination Art. I will only list the FA for each medium and the amount of
FP needed to execute them.

Medium of Heaven
レイチェソジ:Ley Change - Changes the elemental attribute of the Ley Points
on the field. Cost: 25 FP, learn at Level 8.
エクステンション:Extension - Extends the Original Command to all Hex, note
that some Original Commands can not be used with Extension e.g. Endurance
(Extend). Cost: 50 FP, learn at Level 18.
MPチャージ:MP Charge - Restore MP by extracting it from hex. Cost: 75 FP,
learn at Level 35.
ソラス エムス:Solais Emsu - Summon Solais Emsu Magical Damage, Targets all
enemy Hex, Damage factor is 720 + number of allies in same hex as user.
Cost: 100 FP, learn at Level 70
Medium of Sea
ジャンプ:Jump - Move user to targeted hex. Cost: 25 FP, learn at Level 8.
エクステンション:Extension - Extends the Original Command to all Hex, note
that some Original Commands can not be used in conjunction e.g. Revival,
Passive React, High Revival. Cost: 50 FP, learn at Level 18.
クリティカルヒール:Critical Heal - Restore 10,000 HP by extracting it from
Hex. Cost: 75 FP, learn at Level 35.
ルカーディア:Lucadia - Summon Lucadia, Heals all Ally Hex for 10,000 HP,
dispels all negative effects, and revives any fallen allies. Cost: 100 FP,
learn at Level 70.
Medium of Sword
ジャンプ:Jump - Move user to targeted hex. Cost: 25 FP, learn at Level 8.
ソニックビション:Sonic Vision - Always activate a critical hit (or Finest
Art if you have Punch Glove or Sheriff Star equipped). Cost: 50 FP, learn
at Level 18
イントルード:Intrude - Allows user to go twice in a row. Cost: 75 FP, learn
at Level 35.
エクイテス:Equites - Summon Equites Physical Damage, Targets all Enemy Hex,
if the Hex is occupied with an ally with a high physical attack, damage
increases, damage factor is 720 + ally. Cost: 100 FP, learn at Level 70.
Medium of Luck
ミスティック:Mystic - Extend item use to all Hex instead of single Hex.
Cost: 25 FP, learn at Level 8.
ソニックビション:Sonic Vision - Always activate a critical hit (or Finest

ミスティック:Mystic - Extend item use to all Hex instead of single Hex.
Cost: 25 FP, learn at Level 8.
インビソシブル:Invincible - Negates all damage dealt to hex during enemy
turn, lasts until an ally goes again. Cost: 50 FP, learn at Level 18

Personal Skill [PS]

Personal Skills are skills that affect various things; they can do
anything from having a probability of countering an attack to increasing
stats, all skills are passive. Each medium has five personal skills to
learn, thus totaling 30. In addition to the Personal Skills learned from a
medium, each character has one Personal Skill unique only to them.

Unique Personal Skill [UPS]
============================================================
Dean: Double Critical - When a critical hit activates the amount of damage
dealt is doubled, this also applies to Finest Arts.
Avril: Double DP - When she uses the Attack/Shoot command probability of
DP damage doubled.
Rebecca: Continuous Shot - Has a low probability of attacking 2-5 times
when Shoot command is used.
Greg: Shoot and Guard - Probability of Auto Guard Personal Skill being
activated after attacking.
Carol: Shoot Anywhere - Her attacks are not limited to just one direction,
she can hit an enemy from everywhere, however damage dealt varies.
Chuck: Damage Up - The lower his HP is the more damage he deals.

Medium of Heaven (Sky Medium)
ジェム化:Gem Convert - When an enemy is killed by Blast or Hi-Blast party
receives the corresponding gem to the particular element; Fire, Wind,
Earth, Water, Devastate. Learn at Level 4.
マジックブロッカー:Magic Blocker - Fixed probability of nullifying magic
attack directed at character. Learn at Level 15.
レイ時MP回復:MP Recovery - Restores MP at the beginning of each turn as
long as character is standing in a Ley Point. Learn at Level 30.
消費MPセーブ:MP Consumption Saver - MP consumption is cut in half. Learn at
Level 60.
レイ時魔力アップ:Magic Up - +25 Bonus to Magic when character enters a Ley
Point or is standing in one. Learn at Level 100.
Medium of Sea
即死攻撃無効: Instant Death Attack Invalid - Enemy instant death attack
nullified on character. Learn at Level 4.
瀕死時割り込み: Critical HP Interrupt - If an ally falls into critical (red)
status, then character equipped with skill jumps to the front of turn
rotation regardless of who is next. Learn at Level 15.
レイ時MP回復:MP Recovery - Restores MP at the beginning of each turn as
long as character is standing in a Ley Point. Learn at Level 30.
回復量2倍: Double Recovery - Doubles the amount of HP Heal and High Heal
recovers. Learn at Level 60.
レイ時抵抗アップ: Resistance Up - +25 Bonus to Resistance when a character
enters a Ley Point or is standing in one. Learn at Level 100.
Medium of Sword
カウンター:Counter - Fixed probability of counter attacking an enemy attack.
Learn at Level 4.
ダッシュ:Dash - Hex movement becomes unrestricted. Learn at Level 15.
レイ時HP回復:HP Recovery - Restores HP at the beginning of each turn as
long as character is standing in a Ley Point. Learn at Level 30.
ペネトレイター: Penetrator - When an enemy is in critical their defense
becomes invalid. Learn at Level 60.
レイ時攻撃アップ:Attack Up - +25 Bonus to Attack when character enters a Ley
Point or is standing in one. Learn at Level 100.
Medium of Luck
FPアドバンテージ:FP Advantage - When battle begins Force Gauge is one bar
full. Learn at Level 4.
ギャラアップ:Gella Up - Gella Acquisition is increased at the end of battle.
Learn at Level 15.
レイ時反応アップ: レイ時反応アップ: Reaction Up - +25 Bonus to Reaction when
character enters a Ley Point or is standing in one. Learn at Level 30.
EXPアップ:Experience Up - Experience acquisition is increased at the end
of battle. Learn at Level 60.
レイ時命中アップ:Accuracy Up - +25 Bonus to Accuracy when character enters a
Ley Point or is standing in one. Learn at Level 100.
Medium of Mountain
ディフェンサ:Defender - Fixed probability of the character defending another
ally in the same Hex. Learn at Level 4.
ブロッカー: Blocker - Fixed probability of the character nullifying a
physical attack directed at them. Learn at Level 15.
レイ時HP回復:HP Recovery - Restores HP at the beginning of each turn as
long as character is standing in a Ley Point. Learn at Level 30.
リタリエイション: Retaliation - Fixed probability of character deflecting
physical damage back to attacker. Learn at Level 60.
レイ時防御アップ: Defense Up - +25 Bonus to Defense when character enters a
Ley Point or is standing in one. Learn at Level 100.
Medium of Moon
観察: Observation - Adds more detailed information when using Analyze.
Learn at Level 4.
ステータスロック: Status Lock - Hex occupied by character locks out all
negative effects. Learn at Level 15.
レイ時反応アップ: Reaction Up - +25 Bonus to Reaction when character enters
Ley Point or is standing in one. Learn at Level 30.
HEXクリーナー: Hex Cleaner - When character enters Hex it clears out all
negative effects. Learn at Level 60.
レイ時回避アップ: +25 Bonus to Evasion when character enters a Ley Point or
is standing in one. Learn at Level 100.
