I love Saint Seiya and I started watching when I was very little. Today, Toei
released latest episodes which come to end of the Saint Seiya The Hades -
Chapter-Inferno. Is it over? No, there's more! Oh, I have many Cloth Myths
in my collection - 12 Gold Saints plus Pope, and 4 final version of Bronze
Saints. More will come. Anyway, I completed this previous game called Saint
Seiya: Chapter-Sanctuary. Then I will work on this game, but one problem is
I can't read Japanese. So I will give my best, work on translation and see
what I can do. Also this is NSTC version.

Main Menu [02-00]

The main menu has seven sections:
- The HADES Chapter-Sanctuary [02-01]
Start a new or continue story, takes place from beginning of Sanctuary Chapter
to first half of Inferno Chapter. When you see the box with four selections,
that would lead to alternative story, different as original.
- 1000 Days Of War [02-02]
Play a versus mode, you can choose any character and play whatever you like.
On character screen, press X to open a small menu, there are five:
1P vs 2P, 1P vs COM, COM vs 2P, COM vs COM, and To Main Menu.
Press O to select character or
Press Triangle to select character with alternative color of Cloth.
For full characters list and command, see section [05-00] below.
- Saint Legend Mode [02-03]
Compete and defeat 11 random saints, and last battle contains a secret
character.
- Zodiac Holiday [02-06]
A multimedia collection you have unlocked and five sections in Zodiac Holiday
are: Cloth Myth Gallery, Background Images, 3-D Model, Cutscenes, and BGM.
For full details of collection, see section [08-00] below.

- Both left and right of the top screen contains health bar.
- The middle top is timer.
- Both left and right of the bottom screen contains (cosmo) energy bar.
- Pause menu (Press Start button)
- Resume: Resume the game
- Command List: See the list of player's moves
- To Character Selection: Return to character selection (Versus Battle only)
- To Main Menu: Return to Main Menu
Start - Pause Menu Square - Low fist
Directional Cross - Medium fist
Button - Movement Circle - High fist
Left Analog - Movement Triangle - Special
L 1 - Cosmo R 1 - Guard
L2, R2, Right Analog, and Select are nothing.
Basic command list:
Press any movement twice or hold L1 plus a movement to run forward, backward
and circular around opponent.
Right + Square = Additional low fist
Right + Cross = Additional medium fist
Right + Circle = Additional high fist
R1 + Square or Cross or Circle = Grab & Throw
Square + Cross = Perform an explosive but lose all cosmo temporaily
L1 + Square = Low big bang
L1 + Cross = Medium big bang
L1 + Circle = Strong big bang
L1 + Triangle = Perform a smash attack
Triangle + Circle = Perform an Seven Senses but lose all cosmo temporaily
(Umlimited Cosmo)
During big bang attack...
For offensive: For defensive:
Watch the screen and press a correct button
Press O, X, [] or Triangle quickly to counter a big bang. Then press
quickly to mess opponent. all correct order of buttons to counter!
Make a mistake and lose a counter.
During a smash attack...
For offensive: For defensive:
Triangle = Attack Triangle = Counterattack
Circle = Burst Circle = Dodge
Cross = Hope Cross = Defense
When you have a low life, if you were knock out by any big bang, you lose.
But if you were knock out by any physical attack, you can revive by pressing
any Square, Cross, Circle, and Triangle repeating plus move around Analog stick
as quickly as possible.
At Result Screen after Victory...
Offense: E, D, C, B, A, and S
This depend how well are you attacking and using combination at opponent.
Defense: E, D, C, B, A, and S
This depend how well are you defend, counterattack and dodge before the
opponent strikes.
Valor: E, D, C, B, A, and S
This depend how well are you battle in general.
Rank: Low Class, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and God Rank
This depend the following offense, defense and valor into final result.

Select Story Mode, there are two selections - new story and continue story.
243 years later and Hades's sealed is broken. He and his 108 evil stars were
released and revived. His objective is to get Athena's head.
And the New Holy War begins...

Three Hidden Modes [06-00]

To unlock Saint Legend Mode, complete all The HADES Chapter-Sanctuary story
include three extra stories.
To unlock Eternal Battle Mode and Lightning Mode, complete Saint Legend Mode
once.

- Saint Legend Mode [06-01]
Allow you to choose a character and fight 11 random saints plus a special
character at the end.
I recommend you to play 10 characters to unlock secret characters, here:
Gold Sagittarius Seiya Whoever you choose and beat him at the end
Gold Libra Shiryu Whoever you choose, survive 12 battles and beat him
Gold Aquarius Hyoga Whoever you choose, survive 12 battles and beat him
Allow you to choose a characer and beat 12 saints as quick as possible,
therefore it is called a time attack.

Bronze Pegasus Seiya (First) 5 or 6 minutes once
Bronze Dragon Shiryu (First) 5 or 6 minutes once
Bronze Cygnus Hyoga (First) 5 or 6 minutes once

Bronze Phoenix Ikki (First) 5 or 6 minutes once
*Note: If you have a previous game called Saint Seiya: Chapter Sanctuary and
have it in your memory card, it will load to The Hades game automatically and
receive five bronze saints (First).
