Hello and and welcome to my Trine 2 Trophy guide, through I'm a little late
to the party, I figured I put this out since there isn't a guide out there on
GameFAQs.com yet.
Now this guide is mainly in depth for the PS3 version, it is beyond easier
to get the platinum in. Not only can you practically nab it before halfway
through the game, but the trophy values are all high (being all gold save
for one silver).
Now, the PS4 version DOES LOOK BETTER, though both are very good looking
games, the PS3 version was super cheap when I bought it, 1.99U$D instead of
the PS4's 19.99U$D.
The big differences in the trophies is the ps3 version uses just gameplay
"trick" trophies not related to anything you really need to do, so you
can complete the game without unlocking a single one. This means there is no
unlock for difficulty, collectables, or even beating the game! However, the
PS4 version included these (as well as adjusted the values of the ps3
trophies)
So I'll begin with the PS3 only trophies, remember, they apply to both
versions. The ps4 section will be listed afterwards. Since this is a
small guide, there is no need for a table of contents.
They are listed in ABC order. (The first trophie value is the PS3 rank, the
the second listed is the "fixed" of adjusted PS4 value.)
Now, I wouldn't worry about tackling most of the PS3 trophies till you hit
level 6 and have at least enough skills to fill up the wizards list.
Also, a disclaimer, I do not have the PS4 version, so I can't not say for
this guide will be a surefire help, but I can say it will surefire help
you with the PS3 shared trophies. So if the guide seems a little bare bones
in that area, this is why.

PS3
A Floral Feast (Gold/Bronze)
-Feed carnivorous plants with three or more different kinds of treats
In mission 7 or 8? Either way, you'll get to a mission where you will no doubt
find venus fly trap type plant enemies. Now, I can imagine the game wanted you
to use the wizard's pick and drop or otherwise lure enemies to them, however,
whether it is a glitch or not, YOU COUNT AS SNACKS!
So to get this very easy trophy, just let the plant kill every one of
your characters!
A Hail Of Arrows (Gold/Bronze)
-Shoot three arrows in the air and catch them all with the Knight's shield
This, on the PS3 is quite possibly the easiest gold trophy I ever got,
with maybe the "buy the gold alarm clock" in the Sly Cooper remake game.
Buy the double arrow move with the rouge, shoot twice fast towards the
sky so the arrows make a small arch, then quick switch to the knight
and block the arrows. The trophy could of easily said catch 4 arrows and
still been just as easy.
Bouncy Bouncy (Gold/Bronze)
-Stand on a conjured box bouncing on any bouncy surface for 10 seconds
There is a place in the mushroom forest with around five bouncy
mushrooms, including one VERY big one. This is a perfect place for
this. Remember not to jump, only walk as this resets the count.
Cirque de Zoya (Gold/Bronze)
-Using grapple, swing around an object and reattach grapple again without
touching any surface
These is a part where you need the wizards "grab" skills at the end of
a level you move a cart's legs, left and right to slowly claw over
a hazardous pit. There should be a thin log with a blue collectable
above a log at the very end of this section, this is by far one of
the easiest places to do this. There was many other logs like this,
but this is the one I remember.
Dirty Tactics (Gold/Bronze)
-Get at least 10 enemies killed by other enemies' actions in a single
level
In level six, there is a pot which spawns lizards which will constantly
crawl out and never stop. Freeze one, then jump on top of it, then
wait, it should get shattered by a friend. Do this 9 more times.
Chances are, you'll get this while trying for the Ice Shattering
trophy like I did.
Flying Solo (Gold)
-Complete a whole level playing one character only
This trophy only appears in the PS3 version of the game, as the PS4
version as seperate trophies, one for each character. Easiest way
to do this is to put the game on easy, choose level 2, and use the
wizard.
NEVER TOUCH THE L1 or R1 BUTTONS! If you die, press start and
choose the previous check point.
To break rock walls, you need to grab large stones, sometimes
via back tracking, then slam them into the walls.
There is also a door mid way through the level that needs to be
smashed with the knight, to which you can just make boxes and
jump over a hidden section above it.
It goes without saying, make sure you have the wizards skill tree
maxed before attempting this.
Hammer Havoc (Gold/Bronze)
-Kill an enemy with a thrown hammer bouncing at least once before kill
In mission six with the respawning lizards, on hard, you can use a
double arrow with the rouge to freeze one, the VERY next hit,
frozen or thawwed will kill it, just aim your hammer a tad in front
so it slides into the lizard.
If you mess up, you can always use another lizard.
High Rise (Gold/Bronze)
-Construct a tower made of eight objects and stand on top of it
You'll want to have all of the wizards building skills for this. In
mission six, there will be a place where bone crates will spawn from
a ceiling hatch every time you yank a newly dropped one away from it.
Simply stand on the middle platform and building up from the ground.
Remember, planks should be used as they save space.
I Didn't Do It (Gold/Bronze)
-Make goblins die of three different environmental hazards in a single level
First off, it doesn't need to be a goblin, if can be any enemy.
To make things easy for you, make sure you have the wizards lift
ability.
Now, most levels have:
Fire or Poison
Plants or Turrets
Heavy things to drop
Spikes
The hard part is remembering that you need to do this
trophy. Lucky for me, I got this totally by accident during
my Ice Shattering attemtps.
Icebreaker (Gold/Bronze)
-Shatter three frozen enemies within one second
The first lizard pot in level six is the best place for this
trophy, and trust me, you want respawning enemies. Place the
difficulty on hard (not sure if it matters, but they won't die
in one hit, but the next hit)
Now, once two lizards crawl out, freeze one, then jump on
the frozen one. Then aim your box down AND FREEZE THE
SECOND ONE RIGHT NEXT TO THE FIRST ONE. This is important
to have them close as you need to be super quick once you
switch to the knight.
Then do the same once the third lizard crawls out. If you
leave even a little gap, it will be just enough time to
screw up this trophy.
Surfboard Master (Gold/Bronze)
-Stand on a plank floating on a single airflow for four seconds
Before trying this, remember a few things:
1. Do not jump
2. Do not touch a ceiling
3. Do not try to cheat by lodging something at the edges
You need to actually surf. The only thing you can do to help,
is move the the raised side to prevent it from flinging you off.
The good news is, is that it is only 4 seconds, and that you
can try as many times as you like.
This Wasn't the Plan (Silver/Bronze)
-Make a bubble sink for three seconds
Find a bubble, then jump on it as soon as you think it will
just about to sufface. If that doesn't work, try making a
ton of boxes on top of it. I got this by accident before
even looking at the trophy list.

PS4 ONLY Trophies! (Not proven/Grain of salt)
All Too Easy! (Silver)
-Finish a level without taking any damage (except in the Story Begins)
The first PS4 trophy on the list, is the one I probably would have the most
trouble getting. Honeslty, with all the tricks and traps, you would need
to pick a level you are ok with, and have practice with.
I would suggest the second level if you can get the snake boss down, as there
aren't a lot of shield enemies, thus you can kill most before they swarm you.
Alone and Mighty (Silver)
-Complete a level with only Pontius
The PS3 version doesn't require you to play a certain character you get the
solo trophy, but I imagine the 2nd level would be an easy start. Don't take
my word for it.
Cannonball Rebound (Bronze)
-Kill a grenadier goblin with its own cannonball
These enemies, to my knowledge do not appear in the PS3 version, so I can
only guess that a shield may be used.
Catch This! (Bronze)
-Kill an enemy with an airborne object tossed with the Knight's charge
Again, I have no idea what this means, but since it's one enemy, it
shouldn't be too hard to figure out if you charge like crazy.
Funs with Fungi (Bronze)
-Complete Mushroom Caves
If you plan on beating this game, you will get this trophy.
Grand Collector (Gold)
-Collect all experience pickups in the game
I'm in no way going to go over all the collectables, but I will give you
the number one hint:
If you have two players, a wizard can float another player on a box,
effectively breaking the game. There are also blue orbs that can only be
gotten like this, so if you don't have playstation plus, or a friend to play
this with you, don't expect a platinum due to this trophy.
Grand Theft Aviation (Bronze)
-Complete Brackenridge Rise
If you plan on beating this game, you will get this trophy.
Happy Reunion (Bronze)
-Complete Goblin Machinations
If you plan on beating this game, you will get this trophy.
Hostile Gardening (Bronze)
-Complete Hushing Grove
If you plan on beating this game, you will get this trophy.
Hot and Cold (Bronze)
-Complete Icewarden Keep
If you plan on beating this game, you will get this trophy.
I want more! (Silver)
-Complete the game
Easy to understand, why this wasn't included in the original trophy list for
the PS3 versions, I will never understand.
I'm Walking in the Air (Bronze)
-Complete Cloudy Isles
If you plan on beating this game, you will get this trophy.
Indigestion (Bronze)
-Complete Belly of the Beast
If you plan on beating this game, you will get this trophy.
Into the Story (Bronze)
-Complete The Story Begins
If you plan on beating this game, you will get this trophy.
Like a Shadow (Silver)
-Complete a level with only Zoya
Unlike the knight and wizard trophies, I would pick the third level,
for I know you can beat that level with just her.
Lost and Found (Gold)
-Find all chests in the game
Not as hard as the exp bubbles, and none require another player.
The other good news is when you choose a level, it will tell you
how many you need.
March Through the Marsh (Bronze)
-Complete Mosslight Marsh
If you plan on beating this game, you will get this trophy.
Mudproof Hero (Bronze)
-Complete Mudwater Dale
If you plan on beating this game, you will get this trophy.
Mutually Assured Destruction (Bronze)
-Make a sandworm kill another sandworm
I never seen a sandword as I only played the ps3 version, but
I can imagine due to this game's super aggressive AI, it shouldn't
be hard.
No More Lizard Soup (Bronze)
-Complete Shadowed Halls
If you plan on beating this game, you will get this trophy.
No Time to Change Clothes (Bronze)
-Complete The Heroes Return
If you plan on beating this game, you will get this trophy.
O Solo Mio (Silver)
-Complete a level with only Amadeus
Mission 2, as detailed in the PS3 version above.
Off You Go (Bronze)
-Capture a goblin in a Monster Prison and then launch it with a catapult
This skill isn't in the ps3 version, so I can't help you on this one.
Pearl Diver (Bronze)
-Complete Searock Castle
If you plan on beating this game, you will get this trophy.
Play Catch (Bronze)
-Throw a box with Pontius' magnetic shield and catch it or have another
player catch it
Looks like this is a simple trophy... if you had two controllers.
Pontius Baseball (Bronze)
-Launch an object with Knight's magnetic shield and break it with hammer
before the object touches the ground
No comment, the PS3 version doesn't have access to the magnetic shield.
Pontius Transportation Company (Bronze)
-Glide for five seconds with Kitesail Shield while having an object or
character on top of the shield
No comment, the PS3 version doesn't have access to the kitesail shield.
Rafting (Bronze)
-Create a makeshift raft of three separate parts and have a goblin
sail it for five seconds
No comment, I've been told plank/plank/plank/goblin doesn't work,
and that caging goblins is better, a skill I didn't have access to
in the PS3 version.
Shrooms and Glooms (Bronze)
-Complete Mushroom Murk
If you plan on beating this game, you will get this trophy.
Sinister Plumbing (Bronze)
-Complete Eldritch Passages
If you plan on beating this game, you will get this trophy.
Snowman (Bronze)
-Freeze two enemies and stack them on top of each other
Very easy, do this when attempting the Ice Breaker trophy in
mission six.
Sunstroke (Bronze)
-Complete Deadly Dustland
If you plan on beating this game, you will get this trophy.
The Leaning Tower of Pontius (Bronze)
-Build a three-piece or three-character tower where lowest part is
Pontius and his shield, tower must stand at least five seconds
During Co-op, have a wizard drop three planks on you for an
easy trophy.
This is Trine! (Bronze)
-Kick five enemies of the same kind into a bottomless pit with the
Thief's grappling hook kick or the Knight's Kitesail Shield glide kick
Seems easy enough, but I didn't have access to either of these skills
in the PS3 version of the game.
Through Dangers Untold (Bronze)
-Complete The Final Chapter
If you plan on beating this game, you will get this trophy.
Treehouse Adventure (Bronze)
-Complete Petrified Tree
If you plan on beating this game, you will get this trophy.
Walk in the Park (Gold)
-Complete the game on hard using hardcore mode
Hardcore mode, as I was told, lets you only respawn ONCE per checkpoint,
so it actually makes the game hard. Before attemtping this, make sure
you know this game in and out.
Wicked Collection (Bronze)
-Capture three different types of enemies inside boxes and stack them on
top of another
Though I didn't have access to this skill on the PS3 version, this shouldn't
be a tough trophy to get in mission six with the trio of respawning lizards.
Wild in Wilderness (Bronze)
-Complete Forlorn Wilderness
If you plan on beating this game, you will get this trophy.
