2. Intro
Hello, I'm gonna make this quick and short because I'm not good at
intro things. I'm here to give you a list of the rides in the fabulous
game, Roller Coaster Tycoon. That was even shorter than I thought it
would be.
()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()
3. Ride Guide
First let me get a couple of things straight. IF I Don't HAVE INFO ON A
RIDE Don't E-MAIL ME ABOUT IT!!! AS I UPDATE THE FAQ I WILL ADD MORE
RIDES!!! All the info is reads exactly the same as it does in the game.
There are some mistakes in the spelling; the mistakes are from the
game. Also, the prices are not listed for the pre-constructed rides
because they are not all the same. The price may be $300 to build the
ride, but if the ground is not level, the ride could be $400 because of
supports. Another thing is that all of the rides here are not taken
from just one level. In Forest Frontiers you can't get the Go-Karts,
but you can in Katie's World. SO don't think there is something the
matter with your game when you don't get all the rides in one level. I
know Scenery & Gardens aren't rides, so don't bug me. One last thing,
these may not be all in the exact right order so don't go crazy or
anything. With all that said I, you may now read the list.

SCENERY & GARDENS
-
Trees: Their prices can range anywhere from $11 to $38 dollars.
Sometimes if you put them in the right places they can look very nice.
Most of the time you want to get rid of all of them so you can make
room for rides. But if you want a really nice looking park, you'll want
to have a lot of trees
Here is a list of all the kinds of trees:
Cedar of Lebanon
Aleppo Pine
Scots Pine
Montezuma Pine
Corsican Pine
Black Poplar
White Poplar
Aspen
Magnolia
Weeping Willow
Silver Birch
Voss's Laburnam
Incense Cedar
Lawson Cypress
Monterey Cypress
Italian Cypress
Golden Hinoki Cypress
Arizona Cypress
Hiba
Common Juniper
Meyer's Blue Juniper
Caucasian Fir
Red Fir x2
European Larch
Lombardy Poplar
Common Yew
Walnut
Common Oak
Camperdown Elm
Norway Spruce
Honey Locust
Chinese Cedar
Fruit Tree x2
-
Shrubs and Bushes: They range in price from $5 to $10 and they look
nice. All of them take up a ¼ of a square so you can put multiple
things on one square. The small trees and bushes look nice and are a
good alternative to trees because they don't hide take up so much space
and you can see a path better with bushes and small trees next to them
than trees.
Here is a list of the Shrubs and Bushes (not very long):
Bush x4
Shrub x2
Tree x3
Ornamental Tree x10
Bullrushes
Hedge
Conifer Hedge
-
Tropical and Desert Trees: These can range from $9 to $27. These look
nice and are different. These are good if you are doing a dessert
theme. I personally don't like these trees very much so I don't have
that mush to say about them.
Here is a list of all the Tropical and Desert Themeing:
Palm Tree x2
Monkey-Puzzle
Cabbage Tree
Canary Palm
Cactus x2
-
Gardens: These can range from $4 to $13. These look really nice and
everyone should have some flowers in their parks. I'm pretty sure that
the flowers make people happy. If you have flowers in your park, make
sure that your handymen water them and make your sure that the handymen
can reach the flowers to water them.
Here is a list of all the things in the gardens:
Gardens x21
Clock
-
Lamps, Litter Bins, Benches etc. for Paths: These can range from $4 to
$30 dollars. All of these go on the paths. The lamps, benches, and
litter bins will constantly get broken and tipped over if you have
angry guests. The only way to prevent this is to hire security guards.
I don't know if the banners can get vandalized. If the items get
vandalized, you must replace them. If you do have them in your park, it
can make the park look nicer. Just don't put to many things in your
park.
Here is a list of all the Lamps, Litter Bins, Benches etc. for Paths:
Lamp x3
Bench
Litter Bin
Jumping Fountains
Banner Sign x6
-
Walls and Fences: These rang in price from $4 to $5. I'm not exactly
sure why they put them in the game because they are just about useless.
The only thing I can thing I can think of that these serve a purpose
for are for jails. If you spot someone on your guest list who has a red
face, you can put him in a 'jail' made out of one piece of footpath
with a bench and walls all around it. When you put him in there, he
will brake the bench and be happy again. This is a better idea because
if you let him brake benches in your park, then people will say that
the vandalism in your park is really bad.
Here is a list of all the Walls and Fences:
Mesh Fence

Brick Wall

Tall Wooden Fence

-
Statues and Fountains: These range in price from $12 to $55. These look
really nice and every park should have them. The only thing you don't
want to do is overdoing them and put them everywhere. I'm pretty sure
that these make the people happier.
Here is a list of all the Statues and Fountains:
Giraffe Statue
Unicorn Statue
Horse Statue
Horseman Statue
Dolphin Statue
Geometric Fountain

Elephant Fountain

Mine Themeing: These things range in price from $4 to &175. These look
nice if you are doing a mining theme or they go good near a Mine Train
Roller Coaster or under ground coaster. The best place for these are
Canary Mines.
Here is a list of all the Mine Themeing objects:
Mine Shaft
Mine Hut x2
Broken Wheel
Wheels
Barrel x4
Logs

Spooky Themeing: These range from $4 to $55. These go good near any
haunted house or any creepy ride. They also go good in scary parts of
your park. The dead trees make a place look really scary.
Here is a list of all the Spooky Themeing objects:
Graveyard Monument x3
Dead Tree x3
Gravestone x4
Skeleton
-
Jurassic Themeing: These range from $5 to $40. These look kinda cool
and can go basically anywhere in your park. There are no dinosaur-type
rides so I have nothing to say about which rides to put these near.
Your could always make a dinosaur area of your park though.
Here is a list of all the Jurassic Themeing objects:
Dinosaur x5
Bone
Bones
Wooden Fence
Tall Wooden Fence

-
Wonderland Themeing: These range in price from $5 to $30. These look
different but you can put them anywhere in your park. I recommend
putting them near rides that they would have in wonderland. So I guess
putting them by merry-go rounds or any gentle ride. The cards are used
like fences and they look pretty cool.
Here is a list of all the Wonderland Themeing objects:

Classical/Roman Themeing: These range in price from $5 to $200. These
look really cool. You can put them just about anywhere but I recommend
making a roman area in your park. Where you can have rides that look
roman. That's about all I have to say about the classical/roman
themeing
Here is a list of all the Classical/Roman Themeing objects:
Roman Temple
Roman Column
Roman Statue
Roman Column Wall
Cupid Fountains
Roman Colosseum
Roman Wall
Banner Sign
-
Jungle Themeing: These range in price from $4 to $29. These are a
little different but look cool. These are pretty much the same as the
Tropical and desert trees. I don't have anything to say about what
rides to put these near.
Here is a list of all the Jungle Themeing objects:
Bush x4
Tree x6
Plant x2
Wooden Post Wall x2
Banner Sign
-
Egyptian Themeing: These range from $5 to $350. These look really cool

roller coasters or make roller coasters go through them (only possible
on certain objects.
Here is a list of all the Egyptian Themeing objects:
Pyramid
Egyptian Statue
Sphinx
Colonnade
Egyptian Column
Cleopatra's Needle
Ruined Statue
Stone Block
Egyptian Wall
Lamp

-
Abstract Themeing: These range in price from $6 to $18. These are
really weird and I don't know exactly any places where to put them in
your park. I guess if you like them then you can put them just about
anywhere.
Here is a list of all the Abstract Themeing objects:
Geometric Sculpture x5
Glass Wall x2
-
Martian Themeing: These range from $6 to $250. These are really
different. I guess you can put these anywhere in your park if you want.
These are really weird so I don't have much to say about them.
Here is a list of all the Martian Themeing objects:
Martian Building
Martian Object x5

STAFF
-
Handymen: They cost $35 a month and are worth the $35. Every park needs
a lot of these. They are the most important employees. They keep your
park clean. I usually make them water the gardens (if you have them)
empty litter bins, and sweep footpaths. I don make them mow the grass
because you can mow it in a way by taking the Adjust Land Height and
Slope item and simply clicking on the weeds. You can make them have
their own areas to clean or you can let them roam. I set their cleaning
areas because then I'm sure that that area will be cleaned. A park
should have a lot of these (I have 40 in the park I'm currently working
on. If you have flowers make sure that the handymen can reach them to
water them.
Mechanics: They cost $55 a month. They are the second most need
employees because if a ride is broken down, they repair it. They also
inspect the rides. Every couple of rides you can hire a new mechanic.
Once your rides get really old 10+ years, you should make it have an
inspection every 10 minutes and make it have its own mechanic. One of
my parks is really old so I have a mechanic for every ride.
Security Guards: These guys cost $45 a month. The security guards stop
vandalism. You need these if you have a lot of anything that can be

vandalized. If you have don't want to waste a lot of money on replacing
all the vandalized items and hiring security guards, then don't have
anything in your park that can be vandalized.
Entertainers: These cost $40 a month. These guys look really funny.
They make the people happy and I think it cheers up people who are
waiting in lines too. You have a choice of their costume being a panda,
a tiger, or an elephant. It doesn't matter what costume they have
