- 1. Introduction -

This document contains a text dump of the game Megaman Zero 3, for the
Nintendo Gameboy Advance.
A text dump occurs when the text of a game, usually dialogue, is ripped from
a game and is then formatted into a readable document.
Why do text dumps? They are usually useful for making arguments about the
game, improving a person's understanding about the game by viewing the
script, finding things that might have been left out, and many other things.
So more or less, it's a just-for-fun thing.

With this text dump, I've tried to keep most of the original formatting
that was present in the game. Of course, not all of it could be preserved in
it's original formatting because the end result did not look so great in
a *.txt file.

- 2. i) Understanding the Dump
-------------------------------
In order to understand this the text dump properly, I will list out the
things that I think will help you, the reader, understand this guide more
better.
• [-Recieved Item Statement-] - This is simply the statements the game uses
when you are given something from somebody
else; this could either be Cyber-Elf or
some Energy Crystals.
• [Item] - This simply refers to the name of the item that you will recieve.
• One of the things I've included in this dump is the character who speaks
the dialogue. This is one of the new things I've found in the games, so I
decided to include it in the dump.
You may notice that there are certain instances when some blocks of
dialogue are grouped together while others are not. Please note that this
is intentional because some of the dialogue instances are together in one
group while others, even though they happen in the same event appear in
seperate blocks.
As well, there is no specific order in which the dialogue appears, other
than the order I found it in, so dialogue sequences are not in any
sequential order.
• Conditional statements are a bit harder to follow. The answers, appear in
no specific order, so it is hard to track down which belongs with which.
With this guide, I've followed the simple order of presenting the
statement and it's options and then all the responses on seperate lines.

And Elpizo became the newly
appointed Resistance leader.
However, overcome by his
desire for power,
Elpizo awakened the Dark
Elf, whose magic had once
nearly destroyed the world.
Elpizo, thirsting for the
power of the Dark Elf, lost
sight of his true duty,
and was finally defeated
after a fierce battle.
However, the Dark Elf fled,
her destination unknown...
The battle over the Dark Elf
had only just begun...

won't perish. But, you can only equip two at a time.
One each in Satellite 1 and Satellite 2.
There is no penalty for using Satellite elves.
Some Fusion elves can be upgraded into Satellites.

There are several things I want to note that I did not feel were appropriate
to put in the "Understanding the Dump" section.
• There are a number of lines that have been translated, but not used in the
game. Most of these lines relate to the E-Card+ feature that was available
in the Japanese version that allowed users to swipe cards and change the
surroundings of the Resistance Base, aswell as your weapons and enemies.
As you can see from the dump, they are there, but whether or not if there
are legit ways to access these events is another story.
• In there area where it says the following:
A Cyber-elf
was inside.
This is the statement that is used when you have Cerveau read one of the
Secret Chips that contains a Cyber-Elf. There is a gap between the two
lines because that is where the name of the Elf appears, but the game did
not specify a specific variable to be there, so I left it blank.
• In there area where it says the following:
E-Crystals
were inside.
This statement is used when you have Cerveau read one of the Secret Chips
that contains Energy Crystals. The blank space at the top is intentional
because that is where the quantity is supposed to be. Like the above note
about the Cyber-Elf, since no variable was assigned within that textblock,
I left it blank.
• I apologize for cramping up the text for the “Elf Wars” file. I went
straight to the game’s formatting rather than only breaking every new
screen change. I’ve done this because of the eighty (80) character limit.
