This will be my first guide, and I saw that the "LA Noire-Nicholson
Electroplating" would be a great opportunity to test my skills as a FAQ-writer
since it is not to comprehensive to write about only one mission from a game
instead of writing a full guide on the game.
In this faq there will be spoilers. I am also soon updating it, because I have
missed a clue and probably because of that also missed a trophy. There is a
trophy list for this case at the end of the guide.
Hope you enjoy the guide as much as I have making it, and please let me know of
all the things that I should have done different :)

First sight of investigation; The Nicholson Electroplating Company. NEC1

1. Follow the smoketrails from the explosion, also the policeradio will update
you on where this location is.
2. Go inside and there will be a cut-scene with the chief.
3. Investigate the area.
# Follow the right hand wall and you will find two police officers calling
you over. Open the case and inspect the pieces inside. The code wheel is
very simple, just rotate the inner wheels K so it matches up with the
outer wheels H. Then just rotate the wheel by the outer ring, stopping
at the letters in the newspaper articel.
# When your done with this head back about halfway to the exit (where there
is a way in the rubbel, on your lefthandside going back) Here you will
find a piece of a shirt, inspect it to get an adress.
# Next, go in the way to your left and follow it to the end, here a
policeman will call you over. Inspect his clue and match up the letters.
4. On exiting the Nicholson plant you will run into Fred Nicholson.
5. Get to a phone. Get adress and alert the Army Air Force that you think you
found a plane.

# Speak with the manager.
# Tap the name Oscar Hangstrom in the customer index you get.
# Use the phone to get to know he is not listed at an adress.

7. Go to the deciphered address. 133 North Vermont Avenue.
8. Inspect the mailboxed at the destination.
9. Inspect the apartment.
# Open fridge.
# Inspect the body to get POI. John Doe and clues wristwatch and ring.
# Inspect by the fireplace to find a tie pin.
# Inspect the mirror in the bedroom to find a matching earring to the one
you found in the suitcase at the plant, this opens to reveal a microfilm.
# Use the phone to get a message about the airplane piece and a new
destination
10. Go to hughes aircrafts.
11. Here you will speak to a guy named Vernon Mapes
Before I interviewed him I took a look around the hangar and his office
# Over by the nose of the plane there are some linseed oil barrels.
# Inside the aircraft cockpit there is a note with coordinates, these can
be checked out at the navigation table, also in the cockpit.
# The office is located directly above where you got in to the hangar.
In here are some pictures that need inspecting. Other than that there is
nothing of interest.

12. Time to get to Wilshire police station to see what Ray Pinker has found on
the spycamera.
13. Talk to the guy at the front desk (watch commander James Hopkins)
14. Head downstairs and talk to Pinkner
# Examine the photos. You will find the ring and wristwatch on the 2nd
picture, the tie pin on the 3rd and you link Tomako and McLellan on the
4th. On the 5th you will find a partial address that will match up to
the address you found on the picture in Vernon Mapes office and the 6th
picture will give you the house number.
15. When your done you will be given a small task that explanes the explosion.

16. Go to the house in photograph. (3941 west second street)
17. The door to the house is open so go inside.
18. It reaks of gasoline.
# Examine the gas-can by the front door.
# If you examine the second gas can you see footsteps going towards an
other door.
# In the sleeping alcove there is a airline ticket and a passport.
When you check the passport you find out that Hangstrom and McLellan are
the same person. Then someone chucks a molotov into the room.
19. Shoot the gastank by the stow to blowa hole into the next apartment.
20. From here get out the window that Biggs opens.
21. Outside Mapes is waiting, and a carchase begins.
Just stayon him. After a while some cars from Hughes security will come to
Mapes`s aid. Knock them of the road and follow Mapes all the way to Hughes
Aircrafts.
22. Here you need to take out the security before getting to Mapes.
Take out the first 4 and another car will come with more guys. When you
move into the lot there might come a guard from behind.
23. Move into the hangar. There are two guys coming from inside the Hercules
Aircraft and a third stays in the plane. You can take them all out from the
doorway. When you go around to the other side of the plane six new guyes
will put you under heavy fire. Watch out for the one on the wing. After the
fire fight there is a cut-scene with the chief and then the case closes.

There are 5 trophies to watch out for here.
# The Big Unfriendly - Just close the case.
# The Nose Knows - Find and inspect the prop spinner at the
Nicholson Factory.
# Skeletons In The Icebox - Find all the clues inside Okamoto`s ransacked
apartement and inspect them.
# Unknown at the moment of writing?
# Out of the frying pan - Pursue Vernon Mapes from the burning building to
Hughes Aircraft on the first attempt.
