GAME PROGRESSION

Q: How do I farm money?
A: Going on dates is the only way to earn money. You can go on a date with any
girl in your HunieBee once per day and will earn money even if your date is
unsuccessful.
Q: How do I farm Hunie?
A: Hunie is obtained by talking to girls, answering their questions correctly,
and giving them gifts. You obtain more Hunie by talking to girls when they
are inebriated, so the most effective way to farm is to max out a girl's
inebriation meter, then talk to them as much as possible, buying as much food
as you can to make the most out of the money you spent on drinks. Unique
gifts can increase the amount of Hunie you get for talking, so you may want
to do this first.
Q: How do I obtain Date Gifts?
A: Give a girl a gift from her Loves Gift Type. You can see what kind of gift a
girl likes or loves from the Girls menu of the HunieBee, and they will have a
heart next to them in the store.
Q: What traits should I upgrade?
A: If you favor a particular girl, upgrade the type corresponding to her
favorite affection token. Otherwise, Passion is the most important as it can
increase the points you earn for every match you make. Charisma and Luck are
useful but are also co-dependent on each other, thus they are most helpful
toward the end of the game when you have the Hunie to upgrade them both.
Q: How do I 100% this game?
A: For each of the twelve girls, you need to know all of their details, complete
every collection, and unlock all of their haircuts, outfits, and pictures.

DATING TIPS

- Like Bejeweled, you can engineer cascades by planning your matches carefully.
UNLIKE Bejeweled, however, you can drag a token as far as you want in any
cardinal direction. It doesn't have to swap with an adjacent token.
- If you can make several good moves, execute them from the top down so that the
falling tokens will not disrupt other matches you're planning.
- You can always recognize potential 4-of-a-kind matches based on the token
pattern. If no corresponding tokens are in the right column for a horizontal
4-of-a-kind match, you can attempt to match three tokens in the column you
need the token in. In Fig. 1, A tokens are matched, and by chance an X token
falls from the top of the board, which is dragged back up for a 4-of-a-kind
match.
- When matching a vertical 4-of-a-kind, you can make matches under tokens to
align them. In Fig 2, the matched A tokens allow the X token to fall in
line so it can be used for a 4-of-a-kind match.
- When dragging a token out of an ABAA formation, you can position the odd token
almost anywhere you want. This is useful for matching important tokens such as
power, Joy, or Sentiment tokens. In Fig. 3, X is dragged outside of the A
formation to create a 4-of-a-kind opportunity, and the move is validated by
the 3-of-a-kind match created by its absence.
- You can use the displacement from a match to reposition tokens (Fig. 5.)
In this example, A is dragged right, lining up the gap in the X tokens with
the appropriate token below, allowing for a 4-of-a-kind match.

| usually a good idea to have at least one of these to use late in a |
| date, once you have 7 or 8 Broken Hearts and your moves become a |
| bit more limited. Also, give Kyu the box of tissues to unlock the |
| Kyu Plushie. |

| aren't really worth their cost in Sentiment, but the Suede Ankle |
| Booties offer a very generous Sentiment reward that is extremely |
| useful when you have a specialized set of Date Gifts. |

| the game. It is best to avoid using the tokens that your flower |
| consumes in order to maximize the combo when you do use it. When |
| combined with power tokens, you can gain thousands of points in a |
| single move. |

| Jewelry has some of the most powerful effects of any items in the |
| game, mainly dealing with Affection gain and move bonuses. These |
| tend to be most effective toward the end of a date, either to get |
| a few extra moves or to push your Affection to the goal when you |
| only have one or two moves left. |

Alpha Mode gradually increases the difficulty of dates indefinitely, making the
Affection goal higher and higher. At a certain point, no amount of matching or
power tokens will be able to net you enough Affection to complete a date success
fully. Therefore, you must rely on Date Gifts that award you a percentage of
your total Affection goal. The Stuffed Monkey can, at best, give you 16% of your
goal, while the Heart Necklace can only give you 32% of your goal. Therefore,
your only chance is the Pearl Necklace, which can potentially earn you 100% of
your goal instantly.
Setups may vary, but you are going to want to customize your Date Gifts to
maximize the amount of Sentiment you can obtain. You will need anywhere from
52-100 Sentiment, depending on what other gifts you bring with you. This also
means you need enough turns to meet this quota. The setup I prefer is this:
Begin by using the Suede Ankle Boots as soon as possible, then the Leopard Print
Pumps. The date revolves entirely around making 4-of-a-kind matches to prolong
the date while grinding Sentiment. When you run out of 4-of-a-kind, Joy, and
Sentiment matches, use the Stuffed Monkey, Hoop Earrings, and Stuffed Whale.
With your additional turns, cash in the Sentiment tokens, being careful to pause
when a 4-of-a-kind match becomes available. Continue leaning on extra turns and
4-of-a-kind matches until you have enough Sentiment to win using the Pearl
Necklace. I notice I can finish about 1/5 of dates with this setup. While not
ideal, the setup will still work regardless of whether your Affection goal is
500 or 500,000.
If you really want to strategize, avoid upgrading luck so that you can be more
consistent when setting up 4-of-a-kind matches.
Q: How do I unlock Momo?
A: After unlocking Kyu (you don't have to sleep with her,) buy Bag of Goldfish
and attempt to discard it outside. You will unlock Momo when you attempt to
leave the area.
Q: How do I unlock Celeste?
A: After unlocking Kyu, give her the Dirty Magazine to receive Weird Device.
With Weird Device in your inventory, visit the beach at night (Nikki is the
most common character to appear here) and then attempt to leave.
Q: How do I unlock Venus?
A: Sleep with every girl, including Kyu. Some guides report it being necessary
to sleep with Momo and Celeste, however I have found this not to be true.
Outfits are unlocked by successfully completing a date with a girl wearing an
outfit you have not yet unlocked. The outfit a girl wears to a date depends on
the location. The following table notes which outfits are available at which
locations (note that the names are all shortened.)
