Hello, readers! I got this game when I was little, and was never
able to beat it until I got older and played it again. It's a simple
game, and quite short, but fun. So I decided to make a guide on it.
Hopefully you won't have to do the same thing as me. Happy scaring!

-----------Introduction------------

This guide will tell you what to do to progress through the game. I
will not be giving the location of every card or token, just the basics.
So with that, I will start the guide with a little stuff to get you
started, so you're not all: Uhh? What do I do?

^^^^^^^^^^^^^Controlls^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Escape from Horrorland is a point and click game. This means you only
need to use the mouse and the left clicker. Your pointer is a severed
hand. To pivot around you, just put the hand on the left and right
sides of the screen. You can usually click on things for a closer look,
and almost all items in the game are click-able. Move the hand down to
look into your inventory. More on that later. When you're zoomed in
on an object, click on the right or left sides on the screen to un-zoom.
Clicking on doors will open them and make you go through. When you have
an item in your hand, click on an object with the item to see if anything
happens.

==============Your Pack============

When you move your hand down on the screen, you will see your pack, or
inventory. This is where you store your items that you find. In the guide
I will say things like 'collect the item', 'grab the item', or 'pocket the
item'. This means put it in your pack! Your coins also go here, but I won't
be referencing them.

DISC ONE--

   After the beginning scene, and Lizzy stops talking, turn to your
left and click on the 'Full Moon Cafe' door. Grab a roach, pocket it,
and exit quickly. Look in your pack, and make sure you still have it.
If it escaped, go back in and get another. When you have a roach, go
to where Lizzy ran. After the scene, turn left and follow the path.
   You'll arrive at the new area, Horrorland Plaza. Enter the museum
and pick up the mop near the trash can. Stick it in the guillotine and
chop the mop part off. With the stick, go to the Vampire Eyewear section.
Open the case and pocket both pairs of glasses. Walk to the two anubis
statues with the red beams coming from their eyes, put a pair of
glasses on each, and grab the tile they were protecting. Exit the museum.
Go through the path you came on.
   After the scene, turn to the right of
the fire. Get close to the pipes, and turn them in this order: Un-natural
gas, Super natural gas, and then natural gas. Go through where the fire
just was, and enter the 'Butcher Shoppe'. Inside, open the freezer on the
left to release Lizzy. After the scene, you'll be running from the werewolf.
Lizzy will give you directions.

When Lizzy Says:       Click:
This way                 Left
Run to me                Up
Over here                Right

   After the scene, grab the werewolf's hand necklace. It will combine
with the tile in your pack. Click on Lizzy. After the scene, Lizzy will
dissapear again! Once in Horrorland Plaza, go down the path with the
blue trees and skeleton to the Bat Barn.
   You'll have to make the pumpkins say 'The Scarecrow Walks at Midnight'.
Here is the order:

1. The - Top Left
2. Scare - Top Middle (Female Pumpkin)
3. Crow - Middle Right (Grinning Pumpkin)
4. Walks - Middle (Hockey Mask Pumpkin)
5. At - Bottom Middle (Grinning Pumpkin)
6. Mid - Bottom Right
7. Night - Bottom Left

After the scene, enter the Bat Barn. Take out your roach and click around.
The lights will turn on. Open a door, turn left, and follow a sign that
reads 'Valley of the Lost Kings'. Upon approaching the large door, place
your 'hand-tile' item on the pedastal and enter the tomb. To continue,
slide the column parts around to make a person on each column, then enter
the sand chamber! Click the Indiana Jones whip to begin. There are four
columns around you. Switch the symbols around on each one, so each one
has the symbols like so:

1 Red Dot
2 Eye
3 Wide, Pupiless Eye
4 The Circle = Sign

They have to be IN THAT ORDER! Once you do that, the sand will stop
coming in, and you can progress to the next chamber. Open the
sarcofagus on the right, and use the crowbar to open the middle one.
After Like comes out, you'll have to run away from the mummy. Just
crawl away, and try to not collect all of the coins. After crawling
away for a while, you'll have to destroy the mummy. Grab a torch from
the wall, and click on the mummy repeatedly. If he blows it out, light
it again in the fire pit behind you. After he runs into a column, grab
his ring, and turn to Luke. After he talks, exit through the door.
Turn left, and leave the Valley of the Lost Kings.
  Return into the Bat Barn, and enter the pumpkin area. Proceed to
Horrorland Plaza. Enter the Doom Slide, left of the path to the Bat
Barn. After the scene, walk up to the slides. Go through slide 10 and
enter Disc Two!

DISC TWO--

   Once in this new area, turn right and walk forward. Enter through the
door at your left. Turn right and approach the lab ray table. After the
scene, change Lizzy back by pressing the following colors on the lab bottle
buttons: Red, Red, Blue. After the scene, open the cook book on the book
table. Leave the building, and return where you came from. Enter throug the
door that is opposite the sign that reads 'Welcome to Doom'. Inside, grab the
tongs on the wall behind the fire, and put the ring in them. Then approach the
fire and click it. After the scene, the ring is activated, so put it in your
pouch, and exit the building. Turn around and face forward. Go straight twice,
and you'll be at the gate. Look in your pouch, and back up to trigger a scene.
When it stops, take the ring out, and click on the bug eater guy with it. Yay!
More scenes.
  Upon entering the castle, go forward and turn left. Go through the door and
click on the silver tray. After the scene, turn around, and go up the stairs
with Lizzy. Open the door. After the scene, that woman will be chasing Lizzy.
Turn to the large golden tile on the wall, and when the woman passes, click
on it, and a pull out bed will fall on her. More scenes. Exit to the right of
the bed. While Lizzy and the Count dance, you can check his pockets for the
handle. After you get it, watch the scene. After that, approach the machine,
grab the handle, and stick it in the slot. Then turn it. Click the animals
on the screen in this order: Bat, Werewolf, Bat, Roach, Bat. After the scene,
run from the Count. Don't try to get the coins! Then click on the coffins.
After the scene, get in a coffin and have fun squishing spiders,
because that's what you'll be doing for the next two minutes or so. (By
the way, the spiders make a REALLY obnoxious and loud noise if they touch
you, the bottom of the screen.)
  After that, you'll be at the monster zoo. Elick on the skeleton at the
right, and collect the ticket. Then, click on the wall left of the
skeleton. Click on the buttons to turn the entrance on. Click on the left,
now lit, tiki torch, and insert your ticket. Now enter the building.
  Go down the corridor right of the kids, and tickle the left head of the
alligator. Grab the magnet while it laughs. Go to the giant spider, and
feed it the roach you've been keeping. Grab the string. Go to the giant
octopus, and use the magnet on a string to retrieve the key. Flip the
switch, and grab the can in a closet. Go down the final corridor and
watch the scene. Use the can on the lock, and go into the new area.
  After the scene, go up the elevator. STUMP! NOOO! He was my FAVORITE
character. Anyways, watch the scene. AFter, turn to the control panel.
Click it, and play an easy game of Simon Says. After the scene,
YOU WIN! Congrats!
