Another great tycoon game, but this time comes with cute cartoon looking
characters. You start your business from the ground up as you have a custom
scenario choice or varieties of objectives to be met if you choose mission
scenarios. There are several type of business you can choose from
pharmaceutical goods, game software, business software, children toys, sports
equipment, education textbooks, clothes, electronic appliances, and military
products. If you play custom scenario, you can choose where you want to start
your company as the game provide you with three different cities with a lot
of building varieties in each of the city.

This North American version has only 5 missions in total. I don't know if
there are more in Korean version just because if you see the main menu there
is 'Online' menu which means you play online with other player and bragging
your office design (^_^), also if you checked the 'Background Music' there
are option to choose Missions Theme(it shows more than 5 missions). You can
choose which mission you want to start first between these 5 missions;
however, I recommend you to start from the beginning to the end. The lowest
difficulty level should be the first mission. Every mission has default
product/s but you can do research later on in each mission.

Company      : Red
The President: Shima

Shima was an extremely ordinary university student, majoring in Business
Administration. One day, he won one hundred thousand dollars in a public
lottery after having a dream of being crushed to death by countless falling
four-leaf clovers. He didn't know what to do with this windfall, but finally
decided to open Venture Company called 'Red' as becoming a president of a
company was his dream.

Mission: Please try to make the company with a capital of three hundred
         thousand dollars within 5 years.

Start with: Date(y/m/d): 0-01-27
            $200,000
            10x10 empty office space
            Office Rent : $300

How to complete it:
1. BUY ITEMS.
   This one is a quick mission. I did it within a year.
   First, buy 3 desks, 3 chairs, and 3 computers. These are for your
   employees. Next, build a small restroom, consider you don't have
   large space. Then, buy 1 or 2 single bed, sofa/couch, vending machine,
   coffee maker, purifier water, and heaters.

2. STATION/DESK ASSIGNMENT.
   The employees quickly complain about where they're going to seat.
   After you bought the desks and everything, assign your employees
   to their station/desk. Don't know how? Here's the idea:

   -Right click the desk.
   -It shows up choices, choose "INFO"
   -Then you'll see names of your employees who currently available.
   -Symbol "X" means this person doesn't have a desk yet, whereas "O"
    means you've been assigned him/her.

3. WORK ASSIGNMENT.
   If you've done giving your employees their desks, now you have to assign
   them to their respective department. You can choose them to work on:

   *Research Department - Develop new business
   *Development Department - Make a new product
   *Administrative Department - Put employees to work on charities
   *Distribution Department - If you want to sell the right of product
   *PR Department - Advertise your product

   You can assign your employees simply by choosing "Department Management"
   on the toolbars. Here's you can see your employees and their skills.
   Highlight the chosen employee and choose which department s/he will be
   assigned.

4. PRODUCTS.
   Done with the assignment, now it's time to start making products!!
   Just in case you didn't know how to send your employees making a product:

   -Go to 'Project Toolbar'
   -Highlighted the name of employees
   -Named the product
   -Click 'Check Mark'

   Sometimes it says 'You need to improve your physical/administrative skill'
   When you got this message, go to 'Self Control' and choose 'Study' if you
   need Administrative Skill. Choose 'Sport' if you need Physical Skill.

5. DISTRIBUTE
   You will get announcement once your project finished. Now start to get
   THE MONEY..! ^_^

   -Go to 'Distribution Toolbar'
   -Highlighted the name of the product
   -Click 'Distribute'
   -It'll go the different menu box, now you have to set up the price and
    how many you want to make this product(Yield).
   -Couple of suggestions for you; put the price $1,000 higher than the
    cost so you will get more customer. I usually put the 'Yield' around
    800,000+ products. I know it cost a bit of money, but it'll paid off.

6.  COMPLETE THE MISSION
    I made 10 products of level 1 and 1 product of level 2 when I completed
    the scenario within 1 year and months.

   Make it full 10x10 size than you have every space you need.

2. HIRE MORE EMPLOYEES
   Two employees aren't enough to make a lot of profits in order for you to
   reach the mission objective. Hire 3 more employees with excessive skills
   on intelligence, development, and art.

3. START MAKING PRODUCTS
   Once you have all the employees you need, start making products. Now you
   have 5 employees, choose 2 of them to work on 1 project and the rest on
   the second project. It'll be faster to receive profits if you have
   your employees work on several projects at the same time. For your
   information, I only made sports equipment products since I thought
   this product will give me good income.

4. KEEP THE MONEY POURING IN
   Keep making product simultaneously. If you made 10 products of level 1,
   you get the chance to make level 2 product. This is the time to start
   making only level 2 products. Don't forget to distribute all the
   finished products so you'll get the money pouring in soon. You'll lose
   money first just because of mass production to be made, but feel no fear
   it'll paid off.

5. COMPLETE THE MISSION
   I had 10 products of level 1 and 10 products of level 2 when I completed
   the mission in 2 years and 10 months. With the exact amount of cash
   $ 1,106,756!!

DSR       - Dresser
FE        - Fire Extinguishe
HE        - Heater
Hm        - Humidifier

How to complete it:
1. MAXIMIZE THE SPACE
   You need more spaces to put extra tables for the new employees.
   I recommend expanding the space on top left corner of the map above.
   You can put 3 tables over there. Personally, I'd delete the Double Door
   between rooms because it makes all the employees easier to go from one
   room to another.

2. HIRE EMPLOYEES
   If you see the information above on the skills of all the employees you
   have now, obviously, you need help. ^_^
   Hire more employees, say three more, with the EXCESSIVE skills on the
   Intelligence and Development Departments. Why? Well, as you know, you have
   enough employees with high Art skill, but not many of them have high skills
   on the Intelligence and Development, therefore, you need to hire more
   employees. After looking from times to times, I recommend to search new
   employees from the 'Staff Management', in other words, 'Steal them from
   other companies'. *Evil Grin*

3. START  MAKING PRODUCTS
   I made all Electronic Appliances level 1 since it doesn't take very long
   to make it also it quite cheap to make the mass production. Keep making
   product simultaneously and divide your employees in two or three group
   so you'll have two/three projects at the same time.

4. COMBINATION OF EMPLOYEES
   If you look carefully, when you highlighted the employees for making a
   product, the cost of the product get higher. In logic, once you reached
   the number of skills you need, do not put more unnecessary employees, if
   you do that, the cost will go higher. In essence, find the cheapest
   combination of employees than you'll be granted cheaper mass production
   cost. Still confuse? Here for example;
   -------------------------
   |    Name      |  Cost  |
   |--------------|--------|
   | Employee A   | $ 100  |
   | Employee B   | $ 150  |
   | Employee C   | $ 200  |
   | Employee D   | $  50  |
   -------------------------

   Now, assuming either combination will reach the skill you need to make 2
   products, we can look for the best combination that will result the
   cheapest cost to make that product.
   Combination 1  ---  Employees A+B $250 ------> 1 product
                       Employees C+D $250 ------> 1 product

   Combination 2  ---  Employees A+D $150 ------> 1 product
                       Employees B+C $350 ------> 1 product

   Combination 3  ---  Employees A+C $300 ------> 1 product
                       Employees B+D $200 ------> 1 product

   The best combination will be the first one, it's not the cheapest one you
   can get considering the second combination, you could make 1 product less
   cost, but with the first combination, you could make two products with
   cheaper mass production cost than the rest of combinations.

5. DISTRIBUTE INSTANTLY
   Since you have quite a bit of money, you don't have to worry on the cost
   of the mass production. I make all the products to 1,000,000. The price
   is $2,000 higher than the cost. You lost around $190,000+ if you did just
   like me but the profit will around $170,000.

6. ADVERTISE
   You need to advertise so you'd sell better. The lowest type of
   advertisement you can get is leaflets. You only need 80 points of Charm
   Skill to advertise in the leaflets.

7. COMPLETE THE MISSION
   Just keep making products and distributing it simultaneously. By the third
   year I could make $1,500,000+ and I'm in 10th ranking. Around the fifth
   year my total cash (which means 'company's asset') $2,800,000+.
   Maintain the position for a good month to pass the mission.

How to complete it:
By far this is the hardest mission I've had since I have no clue about stocks
and how to manage it.
1. MAKING PRODUCTS IMMEDIATELY
   You have exactly 2 years to settle in before you can listed your company
   or in economic word would be 'go public'. You can list your company at the
   beginning of 3rd years, since the company begun at 0-11-26, the third year
   would be 2-??-??.
   I recommend make only Education Textbooks because with level 1 product you
   can make 2 products at the same time and the period of time needed is only
   14 days. I know Children Toys has better period but the cost is higher so
   my best bet would Education Textbooks. Now, devide your employees to 2
   groups in the project. Keep making products, you need lots of products to
   be distributed before the second years end.

2. HIRE MORE EMPLOYEES
   Hire more employees and try to find them in the competitor company so
   you hit two bird usng only one stone. Personally, since I need only four
   people to work on 2 project, I transfered the rest of the employees to
   PR Department and Administrative Department. I hired 5 new employees and
   dismiss 1-2 of them. Search employees with high points in Charm Skill.
   You need to assign around 5-6 people to PR Department.

3. ADVERTISE IMMEDIATELY
   The reason you need to advertise your company immediately because you need
   to be acknowledged by the public beforehand (before listing your company).
   So by the time you're ready to list your company in public, they know that
   you exist, beside it gives better sales too. Now you have around 5-6
   people in this department, hopefully your 'Marketing Ability' is higher
   than 420. I suggest you go all out, advertise using all the advertising
   types and put 12 months on each of them.

4. REMEMBER ALWAYS TO DISTRIBUTE
   You will have quite a bit of finished products since the time period your
   employees need to make one product is only 14 days. When a product is
   finished, always remember to distribute it. I always put $1,000 higher
   than the cost and the mass production (Yield) is 1,000,000. With this
   method, you'll get profit $50,000/product in average.

5. 2nd YEAR: LISTING YOUR COMPANY
   I have around $1,500,000 by the beginning of the third year. It's time to
   list your company in public. Go to 'Securities and Bond' and listing your
   company, once you click 'List' a menu box pops up showing how many stocks
   will be listed, how many stocks you will earn, and how much is the value
   for each stock. Once you listed your company, you can see from the right
   bottom screen where you usually see the amount money you have, right now
   it blinks and repeatedly showing your Stock Value (SV). You need to keep
   watching it. ^_^

6. STOCK VALUE RANKING
   If you want to see your company stock value, go to 'Securities and Bond'
   and choose 'Buy Stock'. The Brown Company should be in the bottom list.
   By the way, at the beginning you Stock Value is 1,800,000.
   This list shows the current price of your stock, closing price, and
   trading volume. Now, if the 'Closing Price' is shown in a positive value,
   it indicates that your company stock value goes up by that points, which's
   good. You don't want to get minus value on closing price.

7. MAKE YOUR EMPLOYEES HAPPY
   Now that you listed your company, you need to make your employees happy
   because it's part of the internal factor which effect the Stock Value.
   I frequently throw Dinner Meeting and Picnic so they're always in good
   condition and their loyalty always sky high. Don't forget one thing, it's
   not hurt to give them gifts, as a matter a fact, I always give them gifts.
   Remember to give them gifts that benefit you, for example; give gift that
   has Intelligence Skill bonus to an employee who works in Development
   Department. And give gifts that has Charm Skill to employees that work in
   PR Department.

8. LEVEL 2 PRODUCTS
   It's time to make level 2 products since your company went public now.
   If you keep making level 1 products as I suggested earlier, you will have
   the ability to make level 2 and 3 product by now. You only need three
   employees to make one level 2 product. There is one employee left with
   nothing to do, transfer him/her to Administrative Department. It's time to
   do donation/charities. I prefer to do donation type of charities that
   don't require that much of physical activity.

9. KEEP TRACK OF THE RANKING
   I'm watching my company SV ranking. It changes every month. For the first
   few months (January-March, 2nd year), there is nothing much of different.
   If you want to check your company ranking, as usual go to 'Securities and
   Bond', click on 'TOP 100'and then click on 'Stock Value'. You will see the
   company who has the highest Stock Value should be in the first place.
   The SV is changing quite significantly in April which is 2,050,000
   and it's in 7th place of the listing company. It's changing again in May
   to 3,060,000 which is put me to 5th place. ^_^

   In June the Stock Value reached 3,600,000 and in 4th place with $2,700,000
   money in the pocket. Almost there!!
   Finaly, in August the Stock Value reached 4,410,000 and I'm in third place.
   The mission is completed automatically once you have your Stock Value in
   third rank of TOP 100.

10. SPECIAL APPEARANCE
   From time to time, you will a beggar or a thief comes to your office.
   There is nothing you could do to prevent this even though the game manual
   says that you could prevent this by assign someone with excessive
   Management Skill, but that's the thing, I assume the game manual
   translated into English without changing it. There is no Honesty and
   Management Skill. I draw conclusion that Management is the same as Control
   and Honesty is the same Sincerity just because these are the skills that
   replaced that skill positions.

How to complete it:
1. CHOICES TO EXPAND OR NOT (1)
   For this mission, I didn't maximize the space since the office is big
   and full of things already. One thing is missing though, it's a bed. Put
   couple of beds, there are empty rooms(1). I deleted the door at the left
   bottom corner of the map and put double bed over there. I also deleted
   the small couchs and an ashtray to put another bed over there.

2. MAKING PRODUCTS
   You don't have lots of money, only $90,000+. Therefore, don't make high
   level products. The best choice is to make level 1 business software. It's
   cheap ($1,380 more or less) and a short term project(only 10 days prior to
   completion). Plus, you only need two employees to finish the project, in
   that case, you could make several of products at the same time.

3. DISTRIBUTE
   Okay, you know the drill by now. However, for the first time, you can only
   make 500,000 products for $70,000+. Be patient, the first few months, you
   can only distribute few products. Once the first products' income comes in
   wait until your money reached $90,000+ then distribute the second product
   for another 500,000-700,000 mass production.

4. SETTLE IN
   By now, your company has a lot of products waiting to be distributed and
   steady income from several products that you've been distributed. If you

   waited until your money reached $130,000+ you could distribute 1,000,000
   products. You'll get more profit this way, around $120,000 per product.
   Surprisingly, I thought this last mission would be a difficult one. But
   I did it in no time and I didn't find it hard at all.
   I waited until my money get $140,000+ then distribute for 1,000,000.
   I repeated this again and again.
   By June, 3rd year, I paid $100,000. I paid another $100,000 in August.
   And last I paid the rest of the loan in September also I still have a good
   couple of hundreds thousand dollars in my pocket.

5. HILARIOUS APPEARANCES
   Through out the mission, I found something funny. Your company situation's
   that you have a loan to pay off. Now if you paid it gradually, on several
   occasions creditors show up and harass you (sort of) so you'll pay them
   faster. It's funny because the creditors dress in black suit like they're
   in the mafia or something like that and carrying either a baseball bat or
   a chair. What they did is even funnier. For a man who carries a chair,
   he'll bash the chair again and again, same thing goes to the baseball bat.
   It was so funny, even though your employees did not acknowledge their
   existence. ^_^

That's all guys. You finished all the missions. Congratulations! Personally,
I think this game gives us insight on how the business world is working. You
will have better understanding about product making, mass production, all the
things that related to it, and last but not least stocks which I find it
quite stimulating. I know this game is made to be easy enough (read: simple)
for us to understand, but hey, it works for me. ^_^

These are the cities that available for you. The cities are the same either
play missions scenarios or custom scenario. If you play missions scenario,
you'll automatically get office space, of course with default space too.
However you can expand/move to bigger office if you want, just click 'Valley'
on the main toolbars.

In the custom scenario, you can choose 3 different cities each with different
atmosphere. Beware though, there are several bigger office that cheaper just
because of the location, and it goes the other way around too, there are
several smaller office that cost higher just because its location.

Here's I put every city map to give you a good idea on which city part best
for building your 'empire'.
Note: - I didn't use a proportional map size as it's hard to put exact size
        or exact proportion of the map.
      - As you can see there are some small office spaces that are
        considerably big in size, just because some of these offices have
        luxury such as swimming pool, big parking lots, park, and
        tennis court.
      - There are some small office spaces with rent space higher than some
        of the bigger spaces, just because either it has luxury or its
        location is in business area or in the center of the map.

You could move to another office space if you think the current office isn't
adequate for your company. To do that, click 'Valley' and choose which
office space you desired, then click 'Move'.
Keep in mind that if you moved to a bigger office space, your items/furnitues
will be carried over. That isn't the case if you moved to smaller space, the
furnitures/items will be deleted and you have to redesign your office again.

The maps above are a good guidance if you want to play custom scenario. You
can choose between three cities which one that suits the best to start your
'Empire'. You can choose which product you want to make also have the freedom
to choose 'yourself' as a CEO since in mission scenarios you have fixed CEO
that act as you. Each character has strengths and weaknesses. I personally
always choose character that has medium/high intelligence and control.

I don't mind having weak physical skill since I can manipulate that by
'golfing'. ^_^ However, you have limited amount of money at the beginning.
You have to build your company from the ground up, in other words you're
renting an empty office space.

|  A ~ EMPLOYEES PLACEMENT  |
\'-----------------------'/

When you hire employees, they will automatically hang around outside your
office. Now they will complain instantly, saying 'Where is my seat?'
Here's step by step description on how to place your employees:
1. Now, buy desks and computers for them.
2. Right click on the desk, it'll show you to either 'delete, info, repair'.
3. Choose info, it'll take you to another menu box with the names of your
   employees.
4. All the employees with 'X' mark mean that you haven't put them on their
   station yet.
5. Highlighted one employee who has 'X' mark.
6. Click the chair picture which means you place him/her to that desk.

/'------------------------'\
|  B ~ EMPLOYEES ASSIGNMENT  |
\'------------------------'/

When you want to make a product, you need to assign employees on the
Department. Here's step by step on how to assign your employees:

1. Choose 'Management Department' on the toolbars menu.

2. Now, you're in the menu where you can see:

                                   +-----+-----+-----+------+----+
                                   | Rch | Dev | Adm | Dist | PR |
+-------------------------+        +-----------------------------+
|     Employees     |Skill|        |        Name           |Skill|
+-------------------+-----+--------|-----------------------------+
| Guillaume         |     | All -> |                       |     |
| Kathleen          |     |        |                       |     |
| Matt              |     |  --->  |                       |     |
| Selvi             |     |        |                       |     |
|                   |     |  <---  |                       |     |
|                   |     |        |                       |     |
|                   |     | All <- |                       |     |
+----------------------------------------------------------------+

3. Highlighted the employees' names.

4. Choose the Department you want your employee/s to be assigned.
   The departments are:
   ** Research Department
      This is where you want to expand your business. If you want to have
      another product, put your employees in the Research Department.
      Assign employees who have the skills need in Intelligence(INT)
      and Development(DEV).

   ** Development Department
      This is where you can assign your employees to work on the project to
      make new products. The product has level of goods, period of making,
      and cost of making. Each level is different. The skills that employees
      need are Intelligence(INT), Development(DEV), and Art(ART).

   ** Administrative Department
      This is where you can assign your employees to do charities. The skill
      that employees need is Physical(PH). By far, this department is the
      easiest one consider you could manipulate employees physical by
      buying them 'Dinner Meeting' even though it goes up only 5 points but
      it effects all employees and it's cheap too, only $60 each time.

   ** Distribution Department
      Once the product is finished, you have to distribute it in order for
      you to gain profit. Don't let it waste in your warehouse!!!
      (By the way, when I talked warehouse, it doesn't mean you have a
      warehouse, just a logic thinking: products ---> a warehouse.
      So don't email me asking 'Where is the warehouse?')
      The skill that employees need is Sales(SAL). Too bad I can't find a
      specific menu that shown the exact number of Sales skill that your
      employees have. It's only shown in bar chart in the Distribution
      Department. One more thing, you don't need to put someone in the
      this department if you don't want to sell the right of your product
      to another company.

   ** PR Department
      Every good company has good advertising in order for them to be
      recognised by the people aka future costumers.

5. Click 'Select' for individual assignment or 'Select all' to assign all
   of them.

6. Be smart on assigning employees. Don't waste employees skills, for example,
   don't put employee with high skill points on Intelligence in the PR
   Department, you're wasting his/her intelligence skill.
   You have to see where their skills have the highest points.

|  A ~ SKILLS  |
\'----------'/

Every employee has their own strength and weaknesses. It is hard to find
employee that has all the skills with high points. You have to decide which
departments you want to assign your future employees before hiring.
After that, you have to choose wisely who you will hire as you can not get
all high skills points within one person. The skill points are shown in
the skill chart and the skill shows in a vertical bar shape. The higher
the points of the respective skill, the bar will be shown taller.
Here's how it looks like:

100  ------------------------------------------------
     |                                              |

     ------------------------------------------------

Description on the abbreviations:
PH   - Physical ~~ Red
       It shows how much strength each of employee has; keep in mind that in
       the game you can boost this physical skill. See section 'Self Control'
       for the explanation on the skill boosting. Employees'll complain more
       they worn out, and in worst case scenario(assuming the office working
       environment is not helping either) they will resign.

CON  - Control ~~ Orange
       An employee who has high points of Control Skill is best for 'Manager'
       position. An office without manager will give you thieves and spies
       appearances from time to time.

INT  - Intelligence ~~ Yellow
       You need smart brains within your company to create good product.
       Also it's a plus to have someone with high intelligence for creating
       product, if you want to make a product with higher level. This skill
       needed in the Project Department and Development Department. By far,
       most of the products need higher points of Intelligence Skill than
       Development and Art Skills.

CHA  - Charm ~~ Green
       You need this skill for advertising your company. If want to put an
       add, you need 'Marketing' which means charm skill. The higher
       the value the better s/he will be in the PR Department. Another
       Department that needs this skill is Distribution but if only you want
       to sell the rights of your product.

DEV - Development ~~ Light Blue
       Employees with decent development skill are always good to have.
       This skill needed for the Project Department and Development
       Department. This skill's the second most needed in the product making.

SAL - Sales ~~ Medium Blue
       Sales oriented employees are needed for the Distribution Department if
       only you want to sell the product' right, in other words, if you don't
       want to be bothered from selling the product yourself, you could sell
       the right/licence of that product to other company.
       However, be sure to place employees with high Sales points so you will
       have a good deal.

ART - Art ~~ Dark Blue
       You only need this skill to make product. Some of the products
       required a high or at least good Art Skill. There aren't too many
       products that need high points of Art, but I know for sure that Game
       Software and Clothes need higher points of Art than other products.

LOY  - Loyalty ~~ Purple
       Loyalty is important for the company. High Loyalty points means high
       motivation and loyal to the company (so far I have not found my
       employees quit, so I don't know if employees could either be bought by
       other company or simply quit.

SIN  - Sincerity ~~ Pink
       This skill shows how motivate an employee to do her/his job without
       playing around (taking nap all the time or sleep on their desk).
       An employee who has higher points in this skill will work hard and
       avoid unnecessary break/rest.

/'-------------------'\
|  B ~ BOSSTING SKILLS  |
\'-------------------'/

There are ways for you to boost your employees skills. The best way is to
give them present/gift. There is toolbar on the main panel toolbars called
'Item', this is where you buy all the items you want to give your employees.
Each item represents each skill and you can't give your employees more than
one item.
I listed all the items based on the skill charts order:

+----------------------+-----------------+--------+
|      Items           | Boosting Skills |  Cost  |
+----------------------+-----------------+--------+
| Vitamin C            | Ph  10          | $   40 |
| Sport Club Tickets   | Ph  17          | $   82 |
|----------------------|-----------------|--------|
| Rule of Life         | Con 10          | $   40 |
| Electronic Note      | Con 17          | $   83 |
|----------------------|-----------------|--------|
| New Economies Report | Int 10          | $   40 |
| Encyclopaedia        | Int 17          | $   85 |
|----------------------|-----------------|--------|
| Pager                | Cha 10          | $   40 |
| High Class Stickpin  | Cha 17          | $   86 |
|----------------------|-----------------|--------|
| High Class Keyboard  | Dev 10          | $   40 |
| DVD Player           | Dev 17          | $   85 |
|----------------------|-----------------|--------|
| Mouthwash            | Sal 10          | $   40 |
| A Life of S.S. Lee   | Sal 17          | $   81 |
|----------------------|-----------------|--------|
| Wireless Wheel Mouse | Art 10          | $   40 |
| MP3 Player           | Art 17          | $   88 |
+----------------------+-----------------+--------+

If you gave your employees item, it's not only their skill got higher but
also their loyalty. It is always good to add extra points to your employees,
it could means between hire more employee or not necessarily.

There's another way to boost skill in a small way and it's limited to
physical and loyalty. Go to 'Staff Management' and you'll see small pictures
of 'food and drink' and 'boat'.
+-----------------------+-------------------+--------+
|         Names         |  Boosting Skills  |  Cost  |
+-----------------------+-------------------+--------+
| Dinner Meeting        | Physical 5 points | $ 60   |
| Picnic                | Loyalty 5 points  | $120   |
+-----------------------+-------------------+--------+

For Sincerity Skill, you could have your employees gain points on Sincerity
Skill if you had them worked on charities. I'm not sure how many points you
will get.

This is the HEART of the company. You could not possibly survive without

you can't get money soon. The menu box should be like this:

Description: 1 - Choosing the product
              2 - Work In Progress
            ??? - The required skill points

Each product has default cost and every time you highlighted an employee the
cost will go up. The best thing is to find the cheapest combination so later
on when you want to distribute that product, you will have the chance to make
more mass production with less total cost. You need employees with
Intelligence, Development, and Art Skills. Try to
find employees who have three of these skill with considerably high points.

If you do so, it will save you money of production. The higher the level of
a product you wish to make, the longer the period of the project and the
higher skill points needed. One more thing, make sure you don't overworked
your employees, if you did the project will take longer to finish than you'd
expect. Even though through out the game I never have this problem because I
tried to make them happy.

/'--------------------'\

If you bore because you make the same product over and over again, you can
make a completely new product but you have to do research first. You'd be
able to do research if your current product reached level 3. The menu box
should be like this:

Description: 1 - Choosing the product
              2 - Work In Progress
            ??? - The required skill points

Choose the product you wish to make and employees who will work on the
project. MUST REMEMBER one thing though, that you have to keep track your
employees who are working on research project. Why? Because you need to
monitor their physical skill. Don't let it reach 0 (zero). Once it reach
zero, the project will be suspended until that employee' physical skill goes
up again. However, the period your need to complete the project goes up by
the amount of time when the project was suspended. If the project suspended
more than three times, you'll get failure result. There's another reason why
the project failed, that is if you ran out of money.

The cost of each product varies. It depends on the employees that you assign
to make that product.

/'-----------------------------'\
|  C ~ ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENT  |
\'-----------------------------'/

A company known as Community oriented is a good advertisement itself. You can
assign your employees to do charity benefits for the society. You need
employees with excessive physical. Do not worry though, you could
manipulate this skill, see section VII for detail. Basically, it has two type
of charity; Money Oriented Charities and Physical Oriented Charities.

The first one, you can spend money on helping or donating for Food Banks or
Charity Donation that help unfortunate people. The second one, you need
execissive physical ability to execute this one. You have your employees
volunteer in the Environment Protection(it's more like demonstration to me,
include the headband !^_^),helping on the Disaster Relief, and Blood
Donation.

If you want to increase company recognition, better of with advertising.
However, there's an advantage doing charities, employee whom you sent to
do charities will gain Sincerity Skill points.

/'---------------------------'\
|  D ~ DISTRIBUTION DEPARTMENT  |
\'---------------------------'/

Okay, you made products. But did you distribute it? AHA!
Don't waste the product your employees worked very hard to achieve it. There
are two ways to distribute all the finished products. First, you distribute
it yourself and second, you sell the rights(license) of your product to other
company. You don't need to assign employees if you distribute it yourself,
but you need an employee as mediator if you want to sell the rights of a
product.

There are three main bar; the first one contains all the products you've
made, the second one contains all the information of all the products that
you're distributing, and the last one is for selling the rights of the
product to other company.

In order for you to gain income considerably, do not sell the products with
high selling price, no one will buy your products that way. You could sell
it for high price but you won't sell as many if you put decent sell price.
For me and it works anyway, put the price $1,000 or $2,000(for level 2+) on
the selling price. I always put the maximum mass production (Yield) if I have
the money. It'snot the case on the level 2+ products though, you need more
money since the cost will higher than lower level products.

If you decided to sell the rights of the product. You need an employee who
has Charm and Sales Skills, remember always hire employees with high points
skills. Go to the third main bar and highlighted your employee and product
and click on 'Negotiate'. Another menu pops up. You will get a quite chunk
of money instantly this way, even though if you counted in total, the money
you earn from distributing yourself will be higher in long period of time.

/'------------------------------'\
|  E ~ PUBLIC RELATION DEPARTMENT  |
\'------------------------------'/

What can you do to make the world aware of your products? ADVERTISEMENT is
the answer. The more you advertise, the more people would recognize your
products and have better chance for selling more and hiring employees.

+---------------------------+---------------+------------+
|   Type of Advertisement   |  Charm Skill  | Cost/month |
+---------------------------+---------------+------------+
| Leaflets                  |   80 points   | $   300    |
| Newspaper                 |  180 points   | $  1,500   |
| Cable Broadcast           |  300 points   | $  6,000   |
| Radio Broadcast           |  420 points   | $ 15,000   |
+---------------------------+---------------+------------+

You can use all the type of advertising if you have all the Charm Skill
needed and the money, but you can't advertise using the same method twice at
the same time. For example, you could do Leaflets, Newspaper, and Radio at
the same time, but you can't do 2 Leaflets at the same time. The maximum
amount of time you could choose would be 12 months.

|  A ~ OFFICE MANAGEMENT  |
\'---------------------'/

Once a while you need to clean up your office, you can't do it by yourself.
After all, YOU are the boss. ^_~
Click 'Office Management' on the main toolbar, it'll show how much you've
to spend to clean your office. The bigger the office space you rent, the
higher the cost you'd have to spend.

/'--------------------'\
|  B ~ STAFF MANAGEMENT  |
\'--------------------'/

This contains all the information about your employees. It devides in three
main categories:

~~~~~<<  1 ~ EMPLOYEES INFORMATION  >>~~~~~
You can see their skills and give them vacation. Highlighted the name of
the employee you wish to give a vacation. You can only give 1 day vacation
and the cost is $20 and click checkmark. You'll notice that employee will be
gone and s/he'll be back after the vacation is over.
~~~~~<<  2 ~ BONUS/GIFT/SALARY/POSITION  >>~~~~~

The second categories contains all the extra stuffs that you can do to make
employees feel comfortable working at your company. Giving them position will
motivate them to work harder for the company, also their loyalty goes up too.
It recommends to give them bonus annually so in essence you have to do
anything to make them happy. You can adjust their salary and position too.
Gifts are important if you want to be appreciated by your employees no to
mention gift will give your employees extra/bonus skill. One item could only
give one bonus skill. Highlighted the employee' name and item you want to
give and click 'Ok'. However, keep in mind that your employees can only hold
one gift at a time, if you gave them another one, it will replace the old one
along with the bonus skill. You can see what kind of item they have by right
clicking the employee and choose 'Info'

~~~~~<<  3 ~ OTHER COMPANY  >>~~~~~
This section use for hiring employees from other company. Personally, I
always search this section first before go to 'Job Offer' because this
section wihtout a doubt has quite range of employees, lots of them have
excessive skills. There's another reason why you should hire from this
section, you could say by hiring employees from competitor company, you
'sabotage' them. Sometimes, potential emplyees will reject your offer no
matter how much annual salary you offered. They have reason for rejecting
your offer:
a. His/her current office has better working environment than your company.
b. Your company isn't well known enough(recognition). Advertise more so the
   public knows your company existence.
/'-------------------------'\
|  C ~ DEPARTMENT MANAGEMENT  |
\'-------------------------'/
Your job is not finish just because you hired employees. You need to assign
them to the department that needs their skills. See section VII.B.  for full
coverage on how you assign employees.
Every scenarios have different selection of products. Some of the scenarios,
you can even have more than one products.
In order for you to advance the next level of the product, you have to make
10 products of the current level. For example, you have level 1 of Game
Software product, make 10 of these then you have the option to make level 2
of Game Software. If you make 20 products of level 1 or 10 products of
level 2, you can get level 3 product.
The cost in the tables is a default cost. It will go higher because of your
employees. Try to find the cheaper combination you can get. The cost of
product making is essential because if you can get cheap cost, you can do
mass production a lot more.
You need to improve yourself before you can manage your company. There are
two skills you need to improve:
Another way to earn money is by buying and selling stocks. Go to "Securities
and Bond", you can see Top 100 listing company as your guidance for the best
choice of company.
Note: The description below (from Listing to Merging), I took it from the
      game manual as I don't have extensive knowledge on Securities, Bond,
      and Stocks; therefore I can't express it in words better than the game
      manual.
/'------------------------'\
|  A ~ LISTING YOUR COMPANY  |
\'------------------------'/
Requirement:
1. Must be over 2 years since you established your company.
2. The capital of the company must be over $500,000.
Listing your company is not easy. You have to know few things:
- Listing shares should be over 100,000 stocks.
- You can't increase/decrease the capital after you are listed.
- If you are not a majority shareholder, you will be deprived of the right of
  management and will lose your company.
- If you become the majority shareholder in another company, you'll get that
  company's employees, capital, and technologies(products).
/'----------------------------'\
|  B ~ STOCKS VALUE AND CAPITAL  |
\'----------------------------'/
You  will have Stocks Value after your company has been listed. Stocks Value
refers to the value connected with the stocks of the company. You have seen
this value in the TOP 100.
Stocks Value and Capital determine the list of the companies, as well as
internal factors (projects, PR, etc), external factors (what happen to
business world; read newspaper), and the price of the stocks. Corporate Value
will be indicated as part of the cash in hand.
/'-----------'\
|  C ~ MERGING  |
\'-----------'/
Merging happen when you become the majority shareholder of one's company and
that company will be dissolved while you'll get that company employees,
capital, and technologies.
/'------------------------------'\
|  D ~ KEEP THE STOCKS VALUE HIGH  |
\'------------------------------'/
- Keep making products, preferably Level 2 and up.
- Keep distributing products (remember the formula: $1,000 higher & 1,000,000)
- Done the first two above, you will get steady income.
- Make the employees happy so there is no delay in the projects.
- Advertisement is essential for company acknowledgement.
- Charities are another way to be acknowledged by public even though the
  overall result is not that great compare to advertisement.
