===============================================================================
02.) BASICS G0200
===============================================================================
Move the cursor with the D-Pad.
Use A to accelerate.
Use B to break.
At the main screen, select a track to race in any order, enter the Garage to
upgrade your cars or buy a new one in the Sales Office.
Win races for money, which in turn upgrades your cars and enables you to buy
new ones. Click on the cars outside for information about them.
You need to place in order to tick off a race. In other words, first, second or
third place. You will want to get first to make the most money.
During the race there are two yellow boxes at the top which represent the
number of laps left and your current placing. You need to place at least third
to continue the game. If any of the bottom bars are empty it is game over as
well. They represent Gas, Body, Tires and Engine and empty as you drive along,
more rapidly if you drive recklessly.

04.) GARAGE G0400
===============================================================================
Here you can upgrade your car, repair it and/or fill it up with gas.
Repairing costs a lot (>$2000) each time, and does not vary a lot about how
low that bar is. This means if you fill up the gas tank when it's still in the
high yellow you will pay nearly as much as if you fill it up nearly empty. The
same goes for damage and tire wear. Also note that if you plan on buying a new
car soon, do not repair or refill the old car.
Upgrades:
`````````
A lot of these upgrades are one-time only. Shoot the Front Missile with the
B Button + Up on the D-Pad. You cannot use certain upgrades for low-end cars,
depending on their on-board Computers.
Supa Retro $2900
Rear Missile $2900
Anti Spin $2600
Side Armor $2100
Power Steering $2200
Turbo Charges $2200
Front Missile $2900
High Speed Kit $2300
===============================================================================
05.) CARS G0500
===============================================================================
These can be bought at the Sales Office. The sales office is only open to you
one time between the races, so make your visit worthwhile. If you are buying a
new car, don't bother repairing the old one as it is sold for the same amount
busted up or all shiny.
If the car you want to buy is not better than your current one the salesmen
won't let you buy it. Also make sure you have enough money to purchase it. You
start the game on Class 1 with a Taraco Neoroader 1600. Each car sells for
$4,990 less its original price which makes upgrading from car to car very much
worthwhile, especially seeing that fixing up the entire car can cost you around
$8,000 to $10,000.
Default Car: Class 1: Taraco Neoroader 1600
Class 2: Vaug Interceptor 2300
YY.) REVIEW G0600
===============================================================================
Gameplay: 5/10
Nice little racer but unfortunately the tracks lack variety. The AI cheats by
being able to compensate for oil slicks like a Star Trek character thus the
only person having to struggle with the water pools etc are the player alone.
The same goes for the entire track. One can easily get stuck in walls but the
AI racers never. And if you happen to get touched by another car you will slow
down majorly whereas he seems to drive on like nothing happened. This is all
a little frustrating but the game still has a good challenge and upgrade
system. I wish those upgrades were more useful though, instead spending most
of the money on a faster car is more effective. Originally I had given this a
6 but after being bumped into walls by the AI once too often and my own car
halting when trying I have lowered this to an unfair frustrating 5. Getting
stuck in walls, and other racers making perfect oil spins just isn't that much
fun after all.
Graphics: 7/10
Nice but lack of car detail and a boring track.
Sound: 8/10
Very funky!
Overall: 6/10
Fun but frustrating.
