Turok 3 Shadow of Oblivion.

                                             Written by zeyfod21

This walk through was written for the Nintendo 64. Feel free to make a print
out for yourself and free copies for your friends and neighbors just don’t
sell it.
It was played on the Hard level. (Not Oblivion level)You should note that
although great efforts were made to create a very detailed walk through
there are some variations that will manifest themselves depending on which
level of difficulty you are playing on.

Generally the enemies just get harder to kill with a harder difficulty
setting.
I found the easy level the most entertaining.
I didn’t particularly like having to make multiple head shots when sniping
or having to blast each enemy several times, this gets old when you consider
having so many enemies to fight, you can’t hardly move ten Turok feet before
you are fighting another one.

There are a total of 500 yellow life force icons in the game.
Each time you collect 100 you get a full health plus ten.
For example if you have a maximum health of 110, when you collect your 200th
icon your health will be 120, and so on until a maximum of 150.

Theoretically you should be able to achieve a maximum health of 250.
That’s adding a +100 ultra health to a maximum health of 150.
However in reality if there is an ultra health anywhere in the game after
you reach a health of  150. I haven’t found it.

You can play this game as either Joseph or Daneille. I preferred playing
Joseph.
The game is played the same way for either character in most areas.

You can play as Joshua with using the cheat under the secrets menu after you
have beaten the game on the Oblivion level, with no deaths, one time for
Joseph and one time using Daneille, then waited patiently through the
credits twice, once for Joseph and once for Daneille and saved the game
separately for each character. (There is no way to bypass the credits screen
and get this to work, and no cheating allowed. Joshua is the dude that
apparently gets wasted at the beginning of the game in the cut scene. Up
until now he has been the main character in all the Turok games. But you
probably already knew that.)

The two Oblivion level games to get the Joshua cheat don’t have to be played
back to back but you will need to have the two games saved separately (You
can’t overwrite the Joseph game with the Daneille game so don’t delete
either of these two games if you want to keep the Joshua cheat) save after
the point where it says “congratulations you never died do you wish to save
the game?” choose “yes” and save the game. Then start a new game.
After you choose a character either Daneille or Joseph go to the secrets
menu and choose the “Play as Joshua” Cheat it should be the picture in the
upper right hand corner of the cheat menu.

While playing as Joshua it really doesn’t matter which character you choose
because the game plays out as if you were Daneille no matter which character
you choose, that means you wont be able to crawl into the small holes. Even
if you cut the Joshua cheat off you will still play the game as if you were
Daneille even if you started the game as Joseph.

Joshua gets ALL weapons. That’s right, he gets the RPG, the Napalm cannon,
the Fire Swarm, and the Shedder, etc etc.
When he picks up an upgrade he gets all upgrades for that type of weapon.
Joshua doesn’t get both the grappling hook and the night vision goggles,
it’s one or the other depending on which player you play. Unless of course
you use the cheat screen to replay chapter 1 then you will get both but you
will still not be able to crawl into small places.

This is important:
Where you see “J&D” beside a number on the walk through it’s the same for
Joseph and Daneille.

Where Daneille or Joseph takes a different path there is a subset number for
them to follow. For example in (3) “City Streets” there is a (3D) subset for
Daneille to follow.

If it doesn’t say “J&D” then it’s for Daneille only. E.g. (4D) or Joseph
only E.g. (4J)

(1J&D)
Chapter 1 “The Breach” Get the quiver of arrows on the wall, go down the
ramp collect the icons, go back up the ramp, DO NOT jump down the shaft, go
back down the hallway take the elevator down.

(2J&D)
“Unexpected Help” Save the game now and every time you pass into another
area.
I have numbered each time you should save the game. Saving at any other
point in the game will usually just put you back at the beginning of that
section. Turok 3 will let you rack up as many deaths as you want restarting
you at the beginning of the last section completed unless you cut the
console off, in that case you start all over at the beginning of the game
unless you have a saved game to load.

This is the number one rule in Turok 3: Save your game!

The number two rule is: Keep your health and ammo levels up. Health and ammo
don’t regenerate in most areas of the game and when its gone, it’s gone.
Health is especially hard to find on the more difficult levels.
You are going to need every ounce of health you can get when you fight the
Alpha Fireborn on the Oblivion difficulty level especially if you are
playing as Daneille.

OK, collect the icons and jump climb the metal grate with square holes
hanging down from the ceiling by a column. Collect the pistol. Jump back
down and drop down the shaft preferably backing into the shaft to the icon
below. Shoot the demon dogs, bust open the crate with your sword or hatchet
get boiler room key.

Open the boiler room door, climb the ladder between the generators, get any
goodies on the rack that you can get, leave the fire extinguisher alone
unless you want to die and want to do all of this all over again. You can’t
open the foot locker.

Exit out down the open corridors to the cowering man. Don’t shoot him, he
will show you the way out when you get close enough to him.

(3J&D)
“City Streets” Save the Game. Follow the blood trail of your “friend?” on
the street to avenge his death by killing the spidery enemy, return to kill
the demon dog. Jump onto the rusty 55 gallon drum and up to the metal tower
platform to collect the pistol. (Now you know why the Bio for Joseph said he
was not a good jumper. Run jump before touching any object in the game and
jump at the last possible moment. Don’t hug walls when jumping, it also
helps to pull back on the joystick, actually you can jump up high enough to
collect the pistol on the other side however this is good jumping skill
practice.) Jump up on the drums beside the dumpster, kill any demon dogs in
the area collect ammo on other side of the fence after killing the spider.

You will come to a white fence with flashing lights beside an alley with a
chain link fence that has two signs on it that say. “DO NOT ENTER” “NO
PARKING”
Joseph goes down the hole in the bottom of the wall here with the icon in
front of it.

WARNING! Stay away from the Police and their automated units, they will kill
you instantly and you can’t hurt them or get anything from them unless they
are already dead.

(Just for fun: Make the police officer disappear by shooting a singularity
from the PSG weapon into the ground beneath him, use the invincible cheat
and the all weapons cheat. As a side note don’t cheat in the games or you
wont get a cheat code when you have completed the game.)

(3D) Daneille: Jump the chain link fence.

(4J) Joseph. ONLY.
“Back Alleys” Avoid the electrified puddle of water exit through the hole in
the bottom of the wall. (I know it seems like you should be able to do
something around the generator but I couldn’t figure out what that something
was.)

Open the door go up the ramp collect the arrows at the end of the alley.
carefully collect the icons while the cop is walking behind the fence.
Find the fire escape ladder, kill the spidery enemy over by the ramp that
goes down with the icons on it. collect ammo. There is a robot cop down the
alley repeating
“Martial law will be enforced.” don’t go near it unless you have a death
wish.
Go back over to the fire escape ladder climb it. Jump up on the air
conditioning unit.

Locate the yellow icons on a ledge back over toward the street. Jump up onto
the pipe walk it and jump up to the ledge collect the icons. (By collecting
100 icons you get a full health and add 10 to your maximum health.) jump
back down to the roof. Locate the icons arching over to a ledge, jump over
to that ledge and collect the shotgun.

Jump to the street below. Now you have a good look at that robot cop.
Locate the icons on the ramp going down and jump on top of the  icon in the
middle, collect the icon at the top of the ramp go down the ramp when the
door opens a demon dog will spew venom so move back to avoid it run inside
and kill the possessed K9 located in the back corner to the left. Kill the
demon dog in the elevator as soon as the door opens. Enter the elevator and
go up.

(4D) Daneille ONLY.
“The Back Alleys” Enter the door kill the demon dog. go in turn right break
the glass of terrified man’s apartment in front of the icons with the
Tomahawk. When he runs out follow him at a safe distance he will run to the
policeman for protection.

Return to his apartment and get his stuff because he doesn’t need it
anymore.
Collect the arrows at the end of the alley outside.
Collect the icons out in front of the cop when he goes behind the fence.
Run over toward the dumpster go left kill spidery enemy get dead cop’s gun.

Go over to the fire escape ladder and climb it, collect icons.
Jump up onto the air conditioner then up onto the pipe then walk the pipe
and jump up onto the ledge to collect the icons, jump back down to the roof
locate the icons arching over toward a ledge jump over to that ledge and get
the shotgun jump down to the street of the alley below you. jump down onto
the icon in the middle of the ramp going down, collect the icon at the top
of the ramp, go down the ramp kill the demon dog in the back left corner of
the room. Kill the demon dog in the elevator as soon as the door opens.
Go up in the elevator.

(5J)
“Roof top Journey” Wait about 15 seconds for the cut scene of cops
rappelling down ropes. Follow the icon trail jumping over the pipes to the
edge of the roof. Run jump over to the fire escape platform below across the
street. Climb up the right side of the ladder (For some reason there is a
glitch in the game on some difficulty levels if you try to climb these
ladders in the center you fall through them to your death) shoot the spidery
enemy collect the icons.  (Just for fun you can drop down to the street
below from the lowest part of the fire escape and go in behind the tractor
trailer rig that is on it’s side in “Block Party” you will need to turn the
invincibility cheat on and the grappling hook is used to escape, so do it as
Joshua with these items.)

(Joseph can’t get to the window washers platform, nevertheless Daneille
can.)
Go down under the pipes jump off the edge through the glass roof  into the
museum.
Press the “B”  button select the night vision goggles. See the red laser
beams? They can hurt and eventually kill you. Jump over, walk under them, or
whatever to avoid them. Collect the icons in the museum and exit through the
doors on the first floor. It hardly seems worth all the effort just for a
few icons however on the easy level there is a full health where you entered
the museum.

(5D)
“Roof Top Journey” Collect the icons, jump pipes, wait for cut scene to
finish then jump over to the fire escape located below on the other side of
the street. Climb the right side of the ladders shoot the spidery enemy
collect the stuff, press the “B” button and select the grapple. position the
cross hair on the blue energy ball above the window washer platform and fire
it. Hit the control button to make the platform go up and collect the yellow
icon at the end of the platform then jump over to ledge across the street to
get the goodies. Grapple back to the platform jump back to the roof top with
the dead cops on it.

Walk toward the cops until you can see the yellow icon and blue energy ball
under the pipes on a roof top above you, grapple up there. Collect the icon.
You now should have at least 33 icons. Grapple over to the building across
the street kill any enemies present collect the icons. (This next part is
actually (6)“Block Party” for Daneille) Grapple down to the energy ball
below which is near the street. Drop down collecting the icons switch to
pistol and kill the zombies in the street. Enter the Cafe’ kill the spidery
enemy in the bathroom, collect all the goodies on the tables, drop down into
the hole in the bathroom floor. If playing Daneille go to  (7J&D) “The
Sewers”

(6J)
“Block Party” Kill the two Zombies avoid the cop over to the right, enter
the Cafe’ over to the left, collect the goodies on the tables, waste the
spider in the bathroom, drop down the hole in the bathroom floor. (How do
you suppose those rear wheels on that semi trailer got on the side without
twisting the trailer?)

(7J&D)
“The Sewers”  line up with the yellow icon and run dropping into the water,
swim upstream to avoid being killed by the turbine pump blades collect
health ammo from the ledge walkways and the P.S.G part from the dead end
pipe.
Go down the other pipe kill spidery enemies collect stuff, swim against the
water current backwards facing the icons above the water ease down and
collect the icons, go down the next pipe kill the spidery enemy.

(8J&D)
“To the Subway” Go up the ladder, then to the left. (cut scene) kill
enemies, after you kill the zombie run around the corner to the right ...
you will have a busted up parking lot to your left continue to run around
the parking lot making a left turn, at the next left turn you will see
yellow icons in the alley and in the room collect them all and jump/climb
the square holed metal grate hanging down follow the icons jump over to the
roof top collect the icons, if you stand around looking for the enemies
sniping you, you are going to loose a lot of health so keep Running! (I
think they are using RPGs) Go though hole in the wall, kill any enemies,
jump down the hole in the floor.

(9J&D)
“On the Tracks” First of all get off the RR tracks! This is not a safe place
to be standing around. I know you have probably seen kids standing in the
middle of the road even when it’s dark and they don’t want to move as if
they owned the ground, daring everybody to stop and pay homage to them in
their genius. But that philosophy doesn’t work well here.
I can only wonder how many times those kinds of people get their character
killed at this point in the game. It might be why it was designed to allow
infinite deaths.
I guess we’ll never know.

Jump up onto the platform. The yellow icons lead to two blue columns with
flashing yellow lights on their sides, after the train passes follow the
icons jump up onto the platform. After the train passes run down the tracks
to the center section, don’t even get close to a moving train, any contact
and you die instantly.

When the other train passes follow the icons to the next platform and jump
up on it.
Kill the spidery enemy at the other end of the platform and collect the
goodies.
After the train passes run down the tracks and wait at the bottom of the
maintenance area, when the train passes again run up the ramp toward the
icon, stop and rest between the blue columns. Note the brake screech noise.

The train has stopped on the side with the yellow icons. Go to the stopped
train and jump inside, this will start a timed sequence where you will have
to run through the inside and on top of the train to get to the engine and
flip the switch to stop the run away train.
(Hint: you don’t really have much time to stop running it’s less time for
the higher difficulty levels. If you do well you might have eight seconds
left on the Oblivion Level)

(Just for fun: If you are using the cheat and playing Joshua, and also using
the other cheats for Invincibility, all weapons, infinite ammo, and all
cards and keys, and I had revisited chapter 1 and had the goggles and the
grappling hook. When I got on the train and the cut scene began Joseph was
merged into the body of Daneille from behind. Now You are a mutant
yourself!)

(10J&D)
“Power Outage” Collect goodies on platform continue down the tracks in front
of the train to a cave in “obstruction” area. Note the deadly downed high
voltage power lines. Jump up onto the black stone and over the railing to
the center section. (I know its very difficult with Joseph but it can be
done. Jump before you get  to the railing.) climb the black rock to the
surface. Kill the spidery enemy directly in front of you then the one coming
from the left, there is one in the corner down the way. collect the shotgun
continue to the hole in the bottom of the wall which is past the crushed
vehicles enter the hole kill the spider on the other side of the door.

Go over to the left through the double doors shoot the zombie trying to hide
behind the door to your left. Collect the goodies. Go out and climb up the
open elevator service door in the top of the elevator. Jump down the shaft,
kill the spider/zombie hiding behind the column, enter the double doors,
flip the switch, save the game, open the door, kill the spider to the right.
Go inside elevator shaft and climb the ladder all the way up to the top of
the stopped elevator car, note that there is an elevator going up and down
the shaft,
if you even touch it’s side - your dead.

I lost a lot of lives before I figured out this next part. Note that there
is a seam that runs right up the middle of the front wall of the shaft of
the elevator that is going up and down, you will need to jump down on top of
the elevator when it goes below you and position yourself facing that seam
trying to move forward as the elevator goes up you should pop out on the
floor above if you don’t you will be crushed to death by the elevator. When
you emerge you will be greeted by a spider blow it away, collect the goodies
and exit through the door and up the ladder. You should get your 100th icon
just before you fight your first boss which is the commandeered aerial
police cruiser. That’s coming up next in...
“Seal The Breach.”

(11J&D)
“Seal The Breach.” Oblivion will commandeer a police transport. Blast the
tentacle in the rear with the shotgun. when your health gets low run around
the lower roof top and collect stuff. Try to finish Oblivion’s first form
off with a short final volley that leaves your health and ammo levels high.
Regenerating health and ammo here around the lower roof top.

(12J&D)
“The Military Base” When the second door opens run inside over to the right
to the wall with a ladder take cover there. Shoot the soldiers behind the
sand bags with the pistol, creeping to the corner and taking them out one at
a time. (Repeat after me “I wish I had the Sniper Rifle.”) Go around the
corner into the storage room and get the Assault Rifle. Kill everybody else
that is still alive and collect the stuff including the corridor key card
from a dead guy wearing a white coat. (Crates with green tarps over them
can’t be opened.)

(13J&D)
“Corridors Of Pain” Kill everybody, bust open the crates, exit through the
next door.

(14J&D)
“Main Access” move to the left soldiers will come running, then run back and
around the center structure (Which happens to be the main access elevator)
to the right, at the back side kill the soldier and enter the room with the
open roll up door. (they keep coming until you enter this room) Kill any
soldiers that come in to visit. Collect the stuff. Outside to the right  are
some more soldiers behind sand bags, one to the left and one to the right,
collect the goodies and climb the ladder that goes up to the top of the
center section, the ladder is located out to the left in front of the sand
bags. Collect the icons around the top of this center section and go over to
the sand bags with a 20 health behind them climb the ladder there.

(15J&D)
“Top Side” Eliminate the soldier(s) behind the sand bags by hugging the wall
to the left, up ahead are some crates go in behind them, jump up onto the
crates and shoot the small red can of explosives. There is a room with two
yellow life force icons at  the bottom of a ladder, up that ladder is the
lift access key card use it to open the lift access room and activate the
lift from the panel inside. (Before you activate the switch on the panel go
up the ladder and get the box of grenades on the shelf  this box will
disappear if you activate the lift button first, maybe the grenade launcher
can be found somewhere earlier in the game.)  Save the game. (There is a
full health outside the room where you entered this level through. If you
are playing the Easy difficulty level.)

(Just for fun: The mysterious moving red can of explosives. If you don’t
blow the can of explosives up to kill the soldiers behind the sand bags it
will be moved out from behind the sand bags if you return later. You may
have to go down and climb back up the ladder coming back the way you
originally came in. I was sure this must be a sign of a secret area where
the explosion would create a hole in the floor or something but NO!
Apparently it’s just a funny program glitch.)

The lift with the big blue “H” (Helicopter?) on it lowers, jump down to the
dying scientist and move to him. As soon as you get near him a cut scene
will tell you to deactivate the warheads this starts a timed sequence. I
hope your health is pretty high because you aren’t going to have much time
to get any, I’m talking seconds here. You are likely to do this section at
least a few times before you get it right and that is using the walk
through. The good news is: This is the last timed sequence part of the game
so once you are past it you can proceed at your on leisure.
Shall we get started? You will need to keep running almost the entire time
and you will need to know where you are going. You have four main switches
to flip and one abort button to activate.
(1) Get the key card.
(2) Put it in the card reader. (this is silo one)
(3)  Run in the door down the hall.
(4) Kill the soldier in the distance.
(5) Climb the ladder to the left.
(6) Flip the switch.
(7) Drop back down the hole you came up.
(8) Kill soldier.
(9) Return to where the dying scientist is.
(10) Run jump on the lift left side as it is still lowering don’t wait for
it to come to a stop.
(11) Continue running right off the end to the door switch below.
(12) Run out of the door as soon as it opens enough around the corner to the
right.
(13) Follow the wall to the key pad switch. (This goes to silos two, three
and four)
(14) Run into the corridor. When the maddening cut scene ends kill the
soldier coming around the corner from the left side.
(15) Run around the corner to the right and take out the soldier throwing
grenades at you.
(16) Continue running kill the soldier make a left up the ladder.
(17) Flip the switch. Turn right 90 degrees right and drop down the hole you
came up.
(18) Run down the corridor and enter the double sliding doors on the left.
(19) Run into the next sliding doors and up the ramp killing the soldier on
the way up.
(20) Flip the switch to the left.
(21) Run down to the last switch and flip it backing into it. Another cut
scene will again stop you unnecessarily.
(22) Kill the soldier and run down the walkway he came from jump up onto the
console to activate the abort button. Now you can take a break. But don’t
save the game until you get to the next sequence “Dark Hangar.”

The scientists in white coats wont harm you. You can kill them but why would
you want to? Because they get in the way sometimes?
(In Turok2 Seeds of Evil you had to kill the seagulls to get a door to open.
Hmm.)

Look around, collect anything you can find. Exit the way you came in. After
you pass through the second set of sliding double doors turn left and go
down to the bottom of silos three and four to get the Storm Bow, a very fine
weapon indeed, with sniper capability. (Daneille gets the sniper bow. yawn.)
also collect the P.S.G. part. Revisit the areas with  the switches that you
flipped for any goodies you might have missed. When you are finished go to
the main access elevator. It has a big sign above the now open door. It is
that large center structure you ran around at the beginning of section

(14J&D) “Main Access” Walk to the back of the elevator and it will go down.

(16J)
“Dark  Hangar” Activate the night vision goggles, here after only to be
referred to as “Goggles” This level is very different for Daneille. The
Storm Bow is a good weapon to use in here on the Easy level.

This is... shall we say, the starting point. There is a door that requires a
key card to open it, which is not to be confused with another sliding door
which goes into a command and control room which has Lexan windows that you
can look through from this starting point area. Then there is the large open
hangar door which is where you are going first. So go in the large open
hangar door.

I hate this level because it contains bipedal web hand and footed venom
spitting Dinoids. These things can spit venom three quarters of the way
across the room and they take your health down quite a bit. They waddle
toward you making a head shot almost impossible and it always seems like
they spit on you no matter how many times you shoot them even as they are
falling down to die. There is no perfect strategy in here.
But you can try shooting and running away then when they retreat return
again until you have whittled them down some.

Follow the icons to the next door there is one to the right and one to the
left, usually the one from the left comes after you the one on the right
side can usually be snipered.
Go in around the outside wall to the right into the next door.
follow the outside wall to the left and continue until you reach two yellow
life force icons in front of a dead soldier. Collect the goodies and the key
card.
Now you are really going to get attacked!

(Note: there are icons scattered around in these warehouses if you want to
make sure you get all 500 you are going to have to search around and get
them. I was more interested in not getting killed, and just getting out of
this level.)

Turn and face the way you came in, a Dinoid will come after you. Go out and
follow the outside wall to your right destroy the other two. Continue and go
in the door  that leads to the first warehouse. When you enter the first
warehouse go around to the left to the door. kill the enemy and probably
another one at the bottom of the ramp. Run over to the left wall and insert
the card to open the door to the barracks.

(16D)
“Dark Hangar” Lucky Daneille gets attacked before the elevator reaches the
bottom.
Take the two soldiers out with the assault rifle and I don’t mean to dinner.
There is enough light for Daneille to see without goggles.

Find the control room, it has the Lexan bullet proof “glass” (How else would
you explain not being able to break it even with heavy weaponry) Go inside
the control room through the door collect the all the stuff. At the back of
the room you will see where a power circuit is missing.

Exit the control room and enter the large hangar door over to the left where
the soldiers were. The Warehouse: There are four icons in the first
warehouse.
The Tech bow (sniper mode on zoom in and out) is a good weapon to use at a
distance against these venom spitting Dinosoids. If you have already played
Joseph you know what you are in for. The first one will come from the left
then the other one from the right.
Be sure to draw the arrow back for at least two seconds before releasing the
trigger button.

Go in around to the right, Dinoids will come running to die. Using the bow
and assault rifle kill all the dinoids, collect all the stuff and jump up on
top of the shipping container 522 using the brown crates that are beside it.
When you drop down to go through the next doorway two soldiers will open
fire on you from behind sand bags. another soldier will come running down
the ramp. Through the next doorway into the second warehouse a platoon of
human soldiers are guarding it. Kill them, kill them all. The assault rifle
works well in here.

Don’t focus on getting stuff in the warehouse. secure the area first. I.e.
eliminate all hostile entities. Then collect the stuff. Way up on top of a
shipping container at the back of the room numbered 116 there is a yellow
icon above it. Jump up onto the brown wooden crate and up onto the top of
the 116 container. Spot the small round red container on top of the green
with white stripe shipping container number 517. Shoot the small red
container from a safe distance.

Jump up into the hole created by the explosion and collect the power
circuit. Go up the ramp to the left and drop down to the ledge below. Dark
Hangar: Drop all the way back down into the hangar. Go into the control room
and replace the power circuit at the back of the room. “Hit The Lights” Save
the game. Exit the control room and waste the two soldiers as they come
around the corner of the hallway.

Eliminate with extreme prejudice the soldiers behind the sand bags and the
one inside the doorway to the barracks. Go down the hallway into the
Barracks.
(Hint: You can do this by running out of the doors to the left and hide
behind the metal crate then sniper them with the Tech Bow. Hint: Shoot
soldiers in the feet on the more Difficult game settings.)

(17J&D)
“Into The Barracks.” Goggles off. Save the game only IF your health is high
enough, because you can’t go back now. In other words: If you save with your
health down to lets say 20 and you can’t make it through to the full health
in section 20 “Undersea Observatory.” (note there are a lot of venom
spitting Dinos between here and there. And not a whole lot of health. It’s
definitely not impossible it’s just difficult.) If you are  not sure about
your health you can save the game as a different note.
Enter the only door that will open which is level 1.

Go in the first door on the right, kill the thing crawling around on the
floor.
Collect the yellow icons. Note that there is an air duct in this room where
Joseph will exit later through it. Collect the stuff return to the main
hallway. Try to get the venom spitter to the right at the “T” intersection
while it is coming up the ramp. Collect the icons in that room. Kill the
other one in the opposite room, collect the icons in that room. Behind the
middle door is a soldier standing beside a deep deadly hole.
Joseph doesn’t need to go in this door.
However the door will open if you try to get the two icons in front of it.
On the easy level one shotgun blast as soon as the door opens will do the
job.

(Joseph: Go back and through the air duct noted earlier. Drop down on the
other side of the pit behind the soldier. Sniper the soldier if you want to.
Continue down the hallway to: “The Barracks”)

(17D) Daneille: Kill the soldier behind the door. Use the grapple to get
across the pit.
Go to (18J&D) “The Barracks”

(18J&D)
“The Barracks” Get the assault rifle out. There really isn’t much in this
area and most of it is in a room through a hole in the wall straight ahead
and slightly to the right after you enter the door. Go there and try to kill
the Dino as he runs up the ramp and back down it to attack you in the room
with most of the goodies. Collect the goodies. Blow the grill away and
follow the duct to an area with weapons and a twenty health pack, return to
the room and go up the ramp and to the left is the exit it has tentacle
beasts hanging on the walls on both sides of the exit door.

Just run and blast the one on the right side wall and run right past the
others inside the hallway. Continue down the hall to the “Rec Room” (Note:
If you are collecting all of the icons in the game you will have to return
and go back into the other two rooms before going past the “Rec Room”. Good
Luck. Once you get in the next elevator you wont be able to back track
without a saved game.)

(19J&D)
“Rec Room.” Sniper the soldier right around the corner. Daneille can use the
Tech Bow.
You can zoom in and out when using a sniper scope by pressing and holding
the “R” button (typically the jump button) and press either the “C” up arrow
button or the “C” down arrow button. (It is my opinion that the Storm Bow
arrows are more deadly in the sniper mode. It is also my conclusion that it
is better to use the regular pistol rather than the silencer sniper pistol.
Find out for yourself, use it in the hard difficulty level to snipe.)

Isn’t it amazing how that soldier can say all that after being head shot?

When the door opens sniper the soldier in the room to the right through the
hole in the wall. He is located to the right side of the hole. As soon as
you shoot him run past the hole in the wall (not through it) turn and face
the direction of the hole the soldier inside may come out of the hole from
the left side. If he doesn’t sniper him. Enter the room through the hole.
Collect the stuff in the rooms shoot any enemies present. Exit back out of
the hole in the wall you entered through.

Directly across from the hole in the wall is a pile of rubble with a hole at
the bottom go in it. Yes Daneille can go there too. Go figure.
Jump over and get the Silencer Pistol. Drop into the water and swim around
until you get the Cerebral Bore. (Looks very impressive doesn’t it? By the
time you lock onto an enemy in most cases close enough to actually kill it
you will be taking a beating. Plus it has a VERY slow fire rate, and it wont
work on bosses. However it works very nicely in
Death matches, the Daneille computer character likes to use it.)

Switch back to the storm bow, sniper rifle, Tech Bow, or assault rifle.
Climb/jump your way up and out... take a left. At the end of the hallway
sniper the soldier in front of the elevator to the right. (this is a point
of no return.) hit the elevator button go up to the next level.

(20J&D)
“Undersea Observatory” When the door opens run down the hallway, when you
get to the balcony with the railing go left and down the ramp. at the bottom
of the ramp go back under the ramp into the hole to the left. Do not collect
the full health pack yet you are going to need it later. You should be able
to hear the footfalls of the soldiers looking for you. After about a couple
of minutes come out and go to the right at the bottom of the
ramp.

In the center of the room there is a ramp going down eliminate any enemy in
there collect any stuff you can get. Come out and go to the right to the
room with goodies. Shoot anybody there too. Collect all of the icons in
front of the undersea glass window.
Spend as much time as you want looking at the fishes.

When you are done continue down the ramp into the next room kill any enemies
there, dive down into the pool collect the icons. Move toward the large
hangar door when it opens remove the two hostile targets. Don’t go through
the door yet. Return to the hole you hid in and collect the full health then
come back and go through the door.

(21J&D)
“The Sub Pen.” It’s Running time again. You should have 96 icons. Down at
the end of the hallway is a large closed hangar door, inside it is a huge
mutant crab. This crab will spit venom at you, whack you with its huge
claws, OOUCH!!! that whacking takes a lot of health away so avoid getting
close. Well it LIKES getting close to you so it will whip out it’s loooong
tongue and drag you into the pool with it, I strongly advise that you don’t
let it do that to you. It seems particularly fond of dragging Danielle in
probably because she doesn’t have any nice weapons yet. Her best weapon is
probably the exploding arrows.

Well you have to open the hangar door so run, run, as fast as you can down
to the end of the hallway and go into the room to the left go down then up
the ramp and hit the switch on the wall, now Daneille can jump right over
the crates and right out into the hangar door to the mutant crab. Joseph has
to run back down and up the ramps.

Destroy any venom spitting enemies that get in your way. Run around to the
middle of the backside of the room and blast the crabs eye until you blind
it, then a ladder will lower, climb it and activate the computer console to
drop the mini sub onto the crabs head which will kill it. After the crab is
dead climb the ladders around the room and collect all the regenerating
health and ammo you can get.

You might be thinking: ‘I could climb these ladders while I fight the crab.’
Well easier said than done, and while you are trying to climb the ladders
your health is dropping fast. Did I mention that you get one life chance to
kill the Xiphias before it kills you? Well you will find that out quickly
enough. Don’t forget to load up on arrows then dive into the pool, swim into
the underwater tunnel, collect all four icons.

(22J&D)
“The Lost Land Junkyard” On the junk car is a life force icon and a rat, but
he wont hurt you. You could kill the rat and get shotgun shells but you
shouldn’t need any, you should already have as much ammo as you can carry.
Collect the yellow life force icons in the area one on the barrel another in
the pipe.
jump the gap over the sewer water and get the icon on the other side by the
rat.
Joseph exits out through the hole in front of the broken boat’s bow.

(About the icon in the pipe: This pipe seems to lead to another area that
Daneille can see through the glass after she grapples up to the ledge to get
out of here but I haven’t figured out how to open it.)

(22D) Daneille: Use the grappling hook and exit up where you see the energy
ball.
You should be able to see it easily enough from the side where the first rat
is, face the gap over the sewer water and look over to the left. After you
grapple up switch to the Tech Bow and sniper the enemy hiding behind the
crate to the left. get his access module. follow the icons, waste any
enemies that get in your way, insert module, go back the other way using the
same tactics through the now open door.

(Just for fun: Jump up onto the drums and use the PSG  weapon shoot a mini
black hole up and jump up to the next level of barrels. see those buildings?
They looked so cool I thought there must be something special up there but
if you jump over there you just fall to your death. Yeah I know you don’t
have the PSG weapon yet.)

(23J)
“Metal Mine” The only good thing about this area is that you get the shotgun
upgrade to the shredder! Well I guess that makes it worth it. Whip out the
assault rifle or shotgun this area is filled with Siamese twin mutants and a
freak wearing a black hood (lost one?) carrying an assault rifle that fires
more like a Fire Storm cannon. Most of your fighting will be done up close
so the shotgun works pretty well.

Your main objective is to get the shedder and get out of here.

Out in front of the tunnel you crawled in from is a raised platform with a
railing. Behind the railing there are three rooms. The last room to the
right is the way out the other two before it just contain some ammo.

Run in over to the left get the icon on the crate go up the ramp kill the
enemies get the stuff out of the rooms enter the last room, kill the beetle
that comes down the pile of rubble and climb the rubble into the ceiling.
Down at the end is a quiver of arrows go to the edge and drop down on top of
the crate below, quickly jump up into the pipe get the shedder come back out
and drop down onto the crate, waste the freak again, get back to the room at
the end and back up into the ceiling, jump over to the other side and up
into the pipe with the icon in it.

(23D)
“Plane Wreck” Shoot the two enemies below collect the clip in the corner
then jump down.
Switch to the cerebral Bore. Get the icons going down the ramp. Go left
around the outside wall in front of the airplane jump into the engine for a
health pack, continue over to the ramp in front of the barrels. There is a
twenty health pack behind the tree. walk up the black rubble pile to the
cave and waste the enemy. Shoot the two beetles as they come toward you with
the shotgun or assault rifle.

Get the Fire Swarm shotgun upgrade inside the cave. Exit the cave and go
right onto the wing of the plane. As soon as you jump up onto the body of
the plane soldiers will open up on you from over to the left. (Note the Fire
Swarm doesn’t work very well against these soldiers on the Oblivion level.)
After they are gone collect the icons on the top of the plane health packs
on the tail section and exit where those soldiers were by the tail section.

(24D)
“The Drain” Shoot Mr. Raptor with the assault rifle then drop down go over
to the right to the twenty health pack in front of the icons beside a
concrete column. Use the Fire Swarm on the Purlin. One shot will take one of
the huge apes out on most levels. Go to (24J&D)

(24J)
“The Drain” Collect the stuff from the pipes. Line yourself up with the
icons below, drop through the hole.

(24J&D)
“The Drain” When you get to the twenty health pack in front of the icons you
will be attacked by a raptor. Follow the icons and go left toward the hangar
door use the shotgun upgrade to remove the Purlin from existence. Go back
around to the right and take out the other Purlin the same way. Collect the
Red and Blue crystals from the hangars whilst Ye fight mightily for thou
life against Raptors of all ages. Insert the crystals in their color coded
wall sockets. Finish off the baby raptors and enter the door.

(25J&D)
“Generator Room.” Switch to the pistol. After the cut scene move to the
corner and shoot the baby raptors as they come to nibble on you. move
towards the dead mans body being eaten by invisible raptors. Blow open the
crate. Go up the ramp to the right jump over the railing then jump to all
the crates to collect the pistol ammo then jump back to the top of the
platform. Go to the icons and disperse any baby raptors. Shoot the enemy
with the hood then the Siamese enemy. Run around behind the generator and
collect the goodies. Go out front up the ramp and get the stuff around the
top.

Go down the ramp to the left and up the ramp with the railing on it continue
on a whomping and a whooping everything in the area to within an inch of
it’s life.
Go up the small ramp and to the right hiding behind a crate is the enemy
with access module “B” take it from him by force. Go back down the ramp turn
right go down to the end and open the door kill the Siamese mutant and enter
the room get the battery bust open the crate with your sword or hatchet. Go
out and back down the ramp into the doorway out in front of the generators
on the first floor. Insert the battery into the module on the wall. blast
the mutant coming down the hallway. Collect all the icons and goodies you
can from the Fuse rooms “A” “B” and “C” at the end of the hallway where the
mutant came out follow the icons up the ramp.

(26J&D)
“The Lab” Follow the curving passage and sniper the mutant in the room at
the end.
If using the storm bow lead your shot about the thickness of his heads.
Run in and collect access module “C” Exit through the opposite door go down
the ramp and collect the fuse 88M turn and get the mutant if he comes down
the ramp after you.
You can always hear them coming the Siamese mutants will square up with you
before the shoot their green venom so if you can shoot them from the side
it’s an advantage.
Hit the red triangle switch for the freight elevator and ride it down. Shoot
the mutant behind the crate as you run over to the right to the hole in the
grate, enter the hole.

(27J&D)
“The Dam” Enter through the hole. Jump up on top of the grate with the hole,
line up with the ladder and run, don’t jump, over to it. Stop when you are
on the ladder use the move backwards button to go down the ladder, select
the cerebral bore, before you get to the bottom of the ladder locate the
enemy behind you and speed the bore on it’s way to his skull. Collect pump
fuse 88T. Be very careful not to touch the spinning turbine blades they will
kill you instantly. Climb the ladder out and go over to the cave with the
icons.
Dispose of the two Raptors collect pump fuse 88K.

(If you are playing on the easy level there is a full health in front of the
fuse 88K, you may want to save it for later so that you can be at full
health before you get the ultra health later in the game, jump over the full
health pack and get the fuse.)
Go back out of this area the same way you came into it through the hole in
the grate.
You have to go back and install the fuses.

(28J&D)
“The Lab” Hey that’s a transition better save the game. If a mutant comes
over to greet you at the grate back off around the corner and sniper him.
Run out of the hole shoot the mutant behind the crate, run over to the
elevator hit  the switch to bring it down.
Pop any mutants that threaten you. While you are doing that the elevator
will probably go back up without you so you will have to bring it back down.
See where the mutants are dropping down from? That’s where the ultra health
is, you will return to this area and swim up to it later. At the top of the
elevator go out up the ramp sniper the mutant in the next room. Continue out
up the opposite ramp through the curving hallway.

(29J&D)
Generator Room” Install the fuses in “A” “B” and “C” Fuse rooms. Exit Down
the ramp nearest fuse room “C” Make a right turn at the bottom of the ramp,
kill any video game enemies that get in your way, go up the large ramp
collect any goodies you may have missed in the module “B” room. Then up the
short ramp take out the mutant to the right, go in the door behind the
crate.

(30J&D)
“The Dam”  In here is the Vampire gun which is a difficult weapon to use. In
the game you must move into contact with the enemy before you fire it, if
you do it right the enemy gets all the life sucked out and it shrivels up
and dies transferring it’s health to you. If you do it wrong it fires and
takes away some of your health. Definitely not a good weapon to use when you
are fighting more than one enemy at a time, and I’m sure it wont work on
bosses or human Zombies nevertheless it will work against spiders, I don’t
recommend using it after your health falls below 50 because you might get
killed before you can use it.

In front of the Vampire gun is a button on the console, press it. Go out the
door over to the left destroy any Oblivion spawn that might be on the
platform around the square pool.
The Sniper Rifle!!! You should have gotten this weapon in the first chapter.

Get the stuff around the rectangular pool. Switch to the Fire Swarm and
target the enemy out over the water to the right one or two shots from here
will take him out. If you are playing Joseph you are just out of range even
for the Sniper Rifle, you will need to swim closer to him. Dive into the
water by the icon and go inside the pipe. Yes it’s a grapple point too.

Swim to the surface and finish the enemy that was out of range for Joseph.
Dive underwater and swim up into the broken steel column for the icons. Swim
underwater to the cave for the full health if you are playing the easy
level. Swim underwater to the hole in the metal grate back to the lab.

(31J&D)
“The Lab” Swim underwater over to the right follow the icons to the surface
and get the PSG part and the Ultra Health. Swim underwater back through the
grates to the Dam where you came from.

(32J&D)
“The Dam” Swim over to the sealed windows and collect the stuff. Exit
through the hole in the top of the wall that the helicopter made earlier.
Jump down.
(I think they could’ve done a better job with the flaming helicopter
wreckage, looks more like a burning flag to me.) Proceed toward the pipe
over to the left.

(33J&D)
“Into The Jungle” Sounds like you are going to fight in some dense
vegetation doesn’t it?
NOT! Come to think of it I don’t think any of the Turok game settings have
been in a “Jungle” setting. Seems like a natural setting for Turok and the
beasts he fights.
Imagine making your way through the trees with your machete and having to
quickly switch weapons to save yourself from a Raptor(s) that jump on you
without any audible warning at a random place each time you play that
chapter.

Jump up onto the pipe with the icon on it over to the left. Walk the pipe
and collect the grenades, Select your sniper weapon and locate the enemy
whirling around in circles in the clearing up ahead. Walk the pipe locate
the enemy below the pipe where it curves to the left. Walk back down the
pipe in the direction you came.

(33J) Joseph goes in the hole here collect the stuff go up the ramp move
slowly at the top That icon is bait, locate the target over to the right
until only his head is visible. sniper him, jump across to the hill.
Continue the Walk through below at (33J&D)

(33D) Locate the energy ball and grapple over to it. Go to (33J&D) Below.

(33J&D) Go up the hill (Purlin? what Purlin? Where?) then down to the metal
truss collect the Grenade launcher. (The Warning! label reads: Do not use at
close range. side effects include self mutilation and death.) Go up the next
hill and jump over to the pipe then onto the concrete. Locate the icons
leading to a cave. Switch to the Shredder or Assault Rifle. Run and collect
the icons eliminate the two enemies and move forward.

(34J&D)
“The Foyer” Goggles On. Locate the Purlin over to the left and shoot him
with the Fire Swarm or Sniper Rifle especially when he stops to scratch his
head. Locate the enemies, at least two, in the front of the Temple. Easy
with the goggles, the enemies will be glowing orange this tactic is going to
come in very handy in the rest of the game. Sorry Daneille. Collect the
goodies around the bottom of the front of the Temple. Over to the left icons
show Joseph the way inside.

Daneille grapples up to the second floor to collect the Firestorm cannon.
Use it now as you take out the two soldiers pacing the top floor inside the
building. Joseph can Sniper them using the goggles and Sniper Rifle. I
wouldn’t worry about getting the other stuff on the front of the buildings
lower ledges because you are soon going to be in an area of regenerating
health and ammo. Goggles off. Go down the ramp kill any soldier at the
bottom right side and jump up on the step of the curving walk way going down
to the Opisthor’s chamber.

(35J&D)
“The Opisthor’s Chamber.” Joseph use the Assault Rifle. Daneille use the
Firestorm.
Move counter clockwise when you get close a mutant crab will pop up, so pop
him until his health bar is down to zero then run over to the panel on the
wall beside his chamber and press it to Lock it and seal him in. Continue
around collect a full amount of ammo and health, keep an eye out for any
humanoid freaks that might try to interfere, a tap of the trigger will waste
one of these guys on the easy level using the Firestorm. Do the same for the
other three crabs. Then prepare for the big daddy Opisthor in the center
chamber.
Move some to the right then to the left as you fight him to conserve your
health. Stop shooting when his health reaches zero otherwise you will just
be wasting precious ammo.

(36J&D)
“Echoes Of The Past.” When I first saw this area it was like a blast from
the past.
Indeed it is the same as in Turok Dino Hunter. Hey I liked that. It wasn’t
overdone at all.

Use the sniper pistol or the Tech Bow sniper the guy to the right and the
guy to the left will come running shoot him as well. (use that zoom out
function to acquire a target quickly.)
Sniper the guy up on a ledge over to left and about four enemies will jump
down to take you on. (You can also launch a grenade when the first two
soldiers walk close together.)

Continue forward dive into the water and swim underwater to the right if you
need pistol ammo swim underwater to the left side into the cave. shoot the
enemies to the left around the corner. Collect the stuff at the mouth of the
cave.
Drop down and go up the wood ramp jump the gap climb the wall.
Kill the guy behind the stone pillars and any hiding down the dead end
passage.
Daneille: Go to (36D)

Joseph: Exit through the hole at the feet of the toppled statue that is
lying on it’s side. Goggles on. Go in small area to the left get the icons
then back out toward the torch.
You can sniper the guy in the bush and his pet raptor or you can do it when
you continue the walk through after dropping down. Go to (37J&D)

(36D) Daneille: Exit using the grapple. The energy ball is located up high
to the left when facing the fires out in front of the pillars. Collect the
icons. Drop down into the canyon.
Go to (37J&D)

(37J&D)
“Narrow Passage” Get the guy and his little raptor too, hiding behind the
bush. Shoot the guys that come running about five of them. Behind the next
bushes are goodies then follow the icon trail and shoot the guy around the
corner up over to the left standing at the top of the climbable wall. Drop
down go left.

(Just for fun: There are areas in the game where you will go through the
wall and your character will leave his/her video game reality. The shock of
the experience will instantly cause death by insanity marked by a scream.
One such place is found in this section “Narrow Passage.” If Daneille does a
lot of jumping and forward movement along the canyon wall in a certain place
she will go through the wall. I call these places Insanity Reality points,
or I.R. Points. What do you call them?)

(38J&D)
“Ancient Altar” Shoot three more guys pick up the gate key (enemies
regenerate here) Go up one of the ramps and open the gate. Shoot the raptor,
you may notice that one of the raptors falls through the wood cover of a
mine shaft. Collect the stuff around the top and drop slide down the front
side of the shaft hole (the side closest to the gate.) At the bottom is the
dead raptor.

(39J&D)
“Canyon Blockade” Get your sniper weapon ready. Walk down the ramp to the
left and stop in front of the waterfall. Sniper the two enemies on top of
the gate house then the one on the second floor in the middle. Move to the
corner of the stone at the bottom of the ramp and sniper the enemy way
across the canyon up over to the left behind the bars.
Locate the icons on the ledge below to the right and jump over to them.
(Don’t hug the walls when jumping) Collect the icons on the small ledges.
Drop to the ground and sniper the guy through the window. Cross over the
river by jumping on the logs or swimming then jumping out on the opposite
bank.

Move along the gate house wall and sniper the other guy through the window.
Go to the corner of the canyon and get the shotgun and ammo.
Swim under water to the cavern behind the waterfall.

Go back and up the ramps all the way to the top and jump over to the ledge
with icons over to the left facing the gate house. As you walk along notice
the ledge to you left. Before you have to make your first jump over to the
next ledge out in front of you, jump up onto the ledge on the wall to your
left and climb it to the top jumping the small gap to get the stuff in the
cave at the top. Shoot any enemy there guarding the stuff.

Go back down and jump over to the ledge that was previously out in front of
you.
Continue around until you get to the point where you will have to crawl
under the rocks if you are playing the Joseph character crawl under the
rocks and drop slide down to the top of the gate house. Drop into the river
on the downstream side of the gate house.

(39D) Daneille: Grapple across the canyon to the cave go through the cave
and drop down to the top of  the gate house. Drop down into the river on the
downstream side of the gate house.

(40J&D)
“Bunker Assault” When you go over the waterfall you will be under the water
but not in the water move forward and take the first right branch into a
cove. Surface there are some bushes over to the right and a cavern under
water behind the water fall. Swim underwater to the cavern to get another
vampire gun and some health.

Swim on the surface over to the bushes jump up on the ledge and immediately
go backwards into the water.
Get out the grenade launcher. Point it about three quarters of the way up
the middle of the left wall of the clearing and shoot. There are two grown
raptors and two baby raptors in there. When they are out of the way collect
the stuff in there. Swim back out over to  the left is a bank jump out and
go up the curving ramp. Shoot the guy behind the bush on a ledge over and
down to the left, and possibly one at the top of the ramp.

Sniper the enemies standing over on top of the Bunk house building to the
right. Jump across to the ledge down below. Flip the switch to lower the
draw bridge. Turn to the right and locate the enemy behind the camouflage on
the second story out in front of the building on the other side of the draw
bridge. (use the goggles or watch the target cursor flash.) Flip the switch
inside the elevator.

(41J&D)
“Command Center” Sniper the guy to the left then get the guy that comes
strolling down the tunnel. ease out and locate the guy up on the board above
to the right.
Go up the tunnel sniper one of the enemies and others will come running so
back down the tunnel and take them out. Go back close to the top of the ramp
and sniper the Warrior priest inside the structure. locate the enemy up over
to the left. Then the one above on the ledge on this side of the plank that
is bridging the river.

Go over the plank and flip the switches inside the room with the table. This
opens the doors of the first gate house. Get the razor wind off the table.
(Actually the razor wind is a very powerful weapon with a range about like
the shotgun. Don’t expect it to hit moving enemies.) Go up the almost
invisible wood ladder in the corner of the front of the room, It’s so dark
you wont be able to see it until you are standing right in front of it.

Walk across the plank staying clear of the water fall. Sniper the enemy
whirling around at the intersection of the tunnel. Then the one to the right
at the “T” intersection. Go to the right up the tunnel.

(42J&D)
“Canyon Blockade” Hit the switch. Locate and shoot the enemy across the
canyon in the cave. Drop down to the top of the gate house then to the dirt
road on the down stream side. Hit the switch. Climb the ladder go across and
down the other ladder. Go back up the ladder. Get any stuff on the ledges
then drop into the river on the down stream side of the gate house.

(43J&D)
“Bunker Assault” Take the fork to the right again and swim over to the left
to the bank.
Collect the icon out front then go up the spiral ramp jump down to the ledge
hit the switch in the elevator.

(44J&D)
“Command Center” Collect all the icons and stuff  around the board walk
climb the ladder to the top and get the icons. Drop down and go back up the
incline of the tunnel.
There aren’t any enemies left so go across the plank bridge into the room to
the left climb the ladder go across the plank into the tunnel take a left.

(45J&D)
“Bunker Assault” There is a waterfall over to the left. Jump to the ledge to
the right. Shoot any soldiers that are on top of the bunkhouse, if you don’t
see any they will come out when you drop down to the roof top. Collect the
icons on the roof top.
Drop down to the ground go across the river to the spiral ramp you have
already used several times. Walk back to the top jump down to the ledge hit
the elevator switch go up the tunnel ramp walk to the center of the wood
plank bridge. Locate the icon downstream jump into the water on the
downstream side. If you miss the icon you will have to come back the same
way and try again. Swim up the river past the draw bridge jump out onto the
right side bank. Go across the drawbridge to the second gate house. Bust
open the crates and the grill with the razor wind. Go up the wood ramp kill
any enemy present.

(Be careful not to fall down to the ground on the downstream side of the
second gate house. There is no way to get back other than a saved game.
Excluding a cheat.)

Climb the wall in the middle section. At the top on the roof is a health
pack. Move to the roof ledge and face the ledge of the roof top on the other
side. For some reason it is actually easier to make a short run jump to the
other roof top than it is to try a long running jump. Daneille: Go to (45D)
Joseph can make this jump but should not do so. Joseph: Go back down to
where the crates were and crawl into the hole. Goggles on. Continue down the
tunnel into the water up to the surface go up the ladder and just keep
moving forward until you get the Napalm cannon upgrade. Switch to the razor
wind bust open the grate and enter the room. Goggles off. Locate the hole in
the floor with a ladder over to the right.

(45D) Daneille: Jump over to the other roof top. Move very close to the rock
over in the corner and look up over to the left to locate the energy ball.
If you still can’t see the energy ball jump up onto the rocks. Grapple over
there. Walk down the ledge. Collect the RPG and jump over to the top of the
final gate house. Note the health packs, collect as much as you need. Flip
the switch and note that the gates open to the fire pit below. Go down the
ramp, don’t touch the coals they will kill you instantly.  Locate a hole in
the floor with a ladder. The other small hole at the bottom of the wall is
where Joseph will enter the room.

(45J&D)
“Final Gate” Select the pistol, or assault rifle. Run over to the ladder and
climb down.
Your objective is to eliminate the guy standing in front of the table
preparing dinner.
He will never move. However an infinite number of hungry dinner guests will
spawn from his position until you kill him. Not to worry, they only carry a
sword as a weapon.
After the cut scene of “You shall not pass.” Climb back up the ladder and
run jump up onto the end of the table. When the War Lord comes let him run
over behind you then take off running across the table up the ramp over to
the right.

Stop a couple of times for about half a second once half way up the ramp
then just past the top of the ramp.
Run straight ahead and flip the switch over to the left. He should fall
right down onto the stakes of the fire pit and become the catch of the day.
Run over to the other side of the top of the temple and collect all the
health packs you can get then quickly run back down the ramp to the fire pit
to get the Ultra Health before it disappears.

Do not touch the hot coals or try to get his sword or you will die
instantly. Collect anything you may have missed on top of the temple icons
etc. Go down the ramp to the hole with the ladder and drop down. Go out and
open the door by the river. Jump and or swim to the other side of the river,
(don’t get swept down the river.) and go in the open area of the final gate.
Eliminate any enemies inside. Collect the icons. Jump swim back over to the
other bank of the river. Continue down the dirt road and sniper the two
enemies around the curve of the road to the right along the canyon wall.

(47J&D)
“Temple Of The Damned” Run down the dirt road, a beeping sound is followed
by a new objective which says “Open the gate to the Pyramid.” don’t stop to
read it keep running until you see a building up ahead over on the right
side keep moving until there is a patch of blue sky between the building and
the canyon wall on the left. Stop.

(There is a I.R. point along the right canyon wall so avoid it. If you are
curious
consult (37J&D) of this walk through.)

Sniper the enemy walking in front of the small building over on the right.
Another will come running around the corner of the building he will curve
and run back along the river then out of sight to the right if you miss him.
So take a few shots at him if you have to.
Run jump into the river and swim to the bottom of the left bank let it sweep
you down river, go under the docks and jump up onto the logs at the end.

(Just for fun: To see the very well camouflaged man in the Temple you could;
instead of jumping into the river, move forward until you were close to the
end of the small building over on the right side where you snipered the
first guy. This is after you have snipered the first two guys in this area.
Using the goggles locate the enemy up in the right side of the temple on the
opposite side of the river.

Zoom out with the scope if you have to, he should be fairly easy to find
using the goggles otherwise you will have to use the blinking cross hairs
method. When you find him, cut the goggles off, and zoom in on him.
He should look like the brick work he is standing beside. And you wondered
why you couldn’t see who was shooting at you!
If you sniper him a soldier will come running around the corner in front of
you. Then one suddenly appears over to the left in the temple by the raised
drawbridge.
That one will cut you up pretty bad and damage your health a lot that is why
I suggest following the walk through and jumping into the river. Instead of
doing this area this just for fun way.)

Shoot the guys in the area typically a couple over to the left one of them
will be hiding behind a rock and the two guys up in the temple. It’s kinda
back and forth one on the bank one in the temple. Go across the River using
wood bridge. Climb the ladder to the second floor. Search every room from
the right side of the temple to the left note the room with the ladder in
it.
There shouldn’t be any more enemies in the temple. Climb the ladder noted to
the third floor. Search each room get the Sniper Rifle. Climb the ladder to
the fourth floor climb up the wall behind the icons, drop down the hole flip
the switch. Climb back up the vine wall and move until you can see the top
of the roof over to the left. Jump over there. Run jump over to the other
roof top and drop down at the far end by the dead dude.

Collect the goodies. Walk along the edge out in front go into the room of
icons.
Drop down from floor to floor until you are on the second floor.
Cross over the lowered draw bridge. Carefully sniper the soldier in the hard
to see cave to the right just after you cross the draw bridge. Enter the
cave. There may be more enemies in here so be ready. Turn left at the
corner. Daneille: Go to (47D)

Joseph: note that there is a shaft to the right, this is the way out for
you. For now go straight ahead into the room with the crates. There is
health at the back of the room. Go back out and into the shaft noted
earlier, of course now it is to the left. Goggles on. Be very careful to
avoid falling between the crate and the wall or you will get stuck and have
to restart the game and do this whole area again. Jump up onto the crates
and into the shaft with the icon in it. It’s about ten jumps. Go down the
shaft across the board and drop down the hole with the ladder. Goggles off.
Joseph: Go To (47J&D Continued.)

(47D) Daneille: Go straight ahead into the room with the crates. There is a
health pack at the back of the room. Jump up onto the crates and collect the
icon in the corner. Move toward the back of the room and locate the energy
ball up over to the left. Grapple op to the plank. Follow the shaft drop
down into the room with the torch on the wall.
Go To (47J&D Continued.)

(47J&D Continued.) Get the grenade launcher out. Make sure it says “Grenade”
not RPG or Napalm cannon. Locate the hole in the floor with the ladder.
Orient yourself, facing the ladder, right side of the ladder, left side of
the ladder. Now move to the side of the hole on the left side of the ladder,
face the wall that is on the right side of the ladder. Standing at the edge
of the hole look down. Aim the cross hair half way down the hole along the
wall to bounce a grenade into the room below. Fire one grenade. You should
hear an OH!
Well that enemy is gone. Drop down the hole. Get your sniper weapon out. Hit
the switch.

In the building across from you the door is now open and an enemy with a
sword is running around the room. He will stop in the corner by the door
momentarily. Sniper him.
Move to the open door way. Sniper the enemy up on the scaffolding when you
can see him through the gap that is between the board he is standing on and
the wall, locate and sniper the other one up to the left the same way. Go up
the ramp in the back room and sniper the warrior priest in the top room.
Drop down to the room below. Locate the table in the middle of the room, up
above the table is a dead dude lying on a grate in the ceiling.

Stand clear of the table and shoot the grate he is on.

(47D) Daneille: Use the grapple to get up to the roof top. Collect the icons
and drop back down into the room. Go to (47J&D Continued.) Below.

(47J) Joseph: Use the razor wind to knock out the grate to the right of the
statue with the scepter in it’s mouth. collect the stuff return to the room.
Go To (47J&D Continued.) Below.

(47J&D Continued.) Collect the scepter from the mouth of the statue in the
corner of the room. Go up the wood ramp to the room at the top and place the
scepter into place.
Go out of this building to the right and under the gate.

(48J&D)
“Gate To Oblivion” Must be close now huh?    NOT!
Collect the single yellow icon across the river without being swept down the
river over the water fall to your death.
Skip the “Just for fun” insert to continue the walk through.

(Just for fun: It is actually possible to get down to the small lake down
below the draw bridge but it is by no means a sure thing every time that you
try it. You are bound to die some of the times you try it. Well here is my
method that I consider the safest way. Actually there is no real advantage
to doing this. It’s “Just for fun.” OK go down the terrain along the right
side of the opened draw bridge, when you start to slide down face the corner
between the bridge and the ground moving forward until you stop falling, and
your screen jitters. Now hug the wall moving around to the left until you
start to fall again turn and face the wall again and try to climb or move
forward with any luck you will land on top of the tree below or on top of
the building with only a little of your health lost. Collect the stuff
inside the building and flip the switch to bring the elevator down, ride the
elevator up. Climb up the back of the pyramid, jump collect the icons around
the top and the P.S.G. part in the middle.)

Go over to the Pyramid and open the door, stay clear of the open door, shoot
the priest inside. If he yells, a green health depleting energy bolt is
coming your way, so move out of the way. Move up the right side edge of the
ramp. Locate the enemy up on the platform to the right, sniper him, move
back down the ramp some then locate the enemy in the back left corner of the
Pyramid, sniper him too. Move over to the left edge of the ramp.

Do the same thing to the enemy on the platform and the other one in the back
right corner.
Keep watching for any enemies that charge you from the front, shoot them
before they can take a chunk out of you with their swords. If they start to
get too close you can run out of the Pyramid, they will turn around and stop
pursuing you.

Drop down to the bottom of the Pyramid from the right side of the ramp. Flip
the switch on the front wall. Facing the back of the Pyramid move side ways
to the right and shoot any enemies. Check for enemies coming from the left
after you shoot them some, quickly check for any enemies out in front of
you. Move around to the back of the Pyramid on the ground floor and hit the
two switches go in stay to the left side. Use the Razor wind to destroy the
tentacled beast up on the wall in the middle, get the one in the water to
the left, and the big one hanging on the wall to the right. Collect the
stuff in the water and the Lava Globe.

Go out around to the right and open the very large doors by placing the lava
globe in the right side. Stand back and watch the latches open. Go up the
ramp behind you around to the back side of the Pyramid. Climb the small ramp
to the top get the Gem Of Ice. Go forward out of the Pyramid, place the Gem
Of Ice in the right side column of the draw bridge.

Go around to the right side of the Pyramid outside between the Pyramid and
the hill side collect the ammo. Go out and drop down the hole in front of
the Pyramid. Collect the stuff flip the switch. Go in over to the right to
the large doors you opened earlier and enter. Continue forward.

(49J&D)
“Fiery Encounter” Joseph use the Silencer pistol. Daneille use the Mag 60.

(Yes the Firestorm cannon will cut the Fireborn into little pieces as it
will with most enemies, however the Fireborn drop pistol ammo when they
perish rarely Rifle clips.)

Shoot the Fireborn that charge you. Cross the bridge and shoot some more of
them.

(Daneille Note: You default to the Fire Swarm Shotgun when you run out of
pistol ammo and Fireborn think you are petting them instead of trying to
kill them, it may, or may not confuse them, however it won’t dissuade them
from continuing to try to kill you. So you will want to switch to the
regular shot gun or some other weapon if this happens.)

Drop down into the pit, the thermal currents will slow your descent and dry
you off from your swim earlier in the game. At the bottom are Fireborn
waiting to greet you. It’s better to shoot them at a distance rather than up
close. They keep spawning from the lava pool out in front of you. When they
stop coming from the lava pit. Move forward, careful not to fall in the lava
pool with Goggles on and shoot the two way up on the wall in front of you.
If you do this quickly enough you can collect some of the pistol ammo
dropped around you before it disappears. However your health is more
important than a few rounds of ammo.

Time to orient yourself. The area you landed is a slightly raised glowing
area, in front of that is the lava pool, a thermal vent to the right, one to
the left, and one behind the lava pool in the back corner.
Go into the visible thermal current to the right of the lava pool.
When you get to the upper tunnel there wont be any icons when you land, as
you go into the cave two fireborn will be around the corner kill them
collect the icons continue out until you have two icons over to the right in
front of  a boulder.
Go over collect the icons and push the boulder over the side.

To the left of the cave you came out of is a ledge that goes down to a
branch if you go straight ahead there will be two icons on the ledge out in
front of  the cave that leads to the Nursery but don’t go in there yet.
Locate the single yellow icon on a large ledge below, drop down to it, face
the chasm hole, orient left, right this is facing the chasm hole,  go right,
jump down to the next ledge, don’t hug the wall it will keep you from
jumping.

Jump down to the next ledge to the right, shoot any Fireborn standing on any
ledges below you, there should be at least one. Jump down to the next ledge
to the left, jump down to the upper ledge to the right, it goes to a cavern
with a large glob of lava hanging from the ceiling, shoot any Fireborn, and
the lava glob. Get any goodies in there that you can get. Go back out to the
cave entrance hug the wall over to the left so that the thermal air current
doesn’t lift you up. You have partially drained the lava from the “Burning
Passage” area. Drop, don’t jump, down to the small ledge below.

Jump down to the ledge to the left, and the next ledge to the left, then
down to the ledge to the right which has ammo and a 20 health pack. Now it
is safe to drop down to the chasm floor, only try to avoid jumping into the
lava pool. Go back up in the thermal current that in the back corner behind
the lava pool, back up to out in front of “The Nursery” go up the ledge to
the point where it branches collecting the icons, if any, that may be left.
At the point where it branches, one branch goes up the other goes down. Take
the one that goes down into “Burning Passage”

(50J&D)
“Burning Passage” Shoot the Fireborn over to the right dodging his
fireballs. Use the Sniper Rifle or pistol to shoot the Fireborn in the lava,
if you are standing back far enough none of them will come out of the lava
after you.
The goggles help you to see them. Go back out to the chasm hole, Go up the
ledge and continue straight at the branch the next tunnel to the left goes
to the “The Nursery.” Go into the tunnel.

(51J&D)
“The Nursery” This is where you get the cerebral possessor which works like
the cerebral bore except that it allows temporary control over the victim,
if an enemy kills him before the bore explodes the death is credited to you!
Make sure to select the cerebral bore instead of the possessor. The
possessor also causes the game to lock up. It’s OK to use the regular
cerebral bore.

Your objective is to run to the back of the room collect the icons and stuff
and run back out. It might help to imagine your path is a letter “S” printed
backwards and rotated about twenty degrees clockwise. So go for it. Shoot
the first fire born you encounter try to ignore the rest as they chase you.
As you exit you will notice an Ultra Health, run past it then double back
and get it. Continue on out back to the chasm hole. Follow the ledge to the
branch and take the one that goes down to ”Burning Passage”

(52J&D)
“Burning Passage” Save game. Eliminate any Fireborn still in the area, make
your way around the lava pool to the right. There is a tunnel over on the
left side of the cavern make your way around to it. Shoot any Fireborn at
the entrance of the tunnel, and go into it.
when you reach the bridge that is over the lava flow, sniper the Fireborn to
the right, then to the left. If you happen to lose a lot of health you can
return to the Nursery and get another Ultra Health at the entrance.

(52J) Joseph: Go into the hole beside the boulder, collect the stuff.

(52J&D)  Facing the boulder exit out to the left of the boulder. Jump down
to the icon on the ledge to the left, and then all the other ledges with
icons on them. Switch to the Storm Bow or pistol. Shoot all the demon frogs.
When the mother of all demon frogs is gone collect the stuff and move down
to the next area.

(53J&D)
“Fiery Encounter” That title sounds familiar. Actually this is the same area
below the bridge in the beginning part of (49J&D) Continue until you reach a
ledge overlooking the most scenic spot in this under world. Sniper the
Fireborn down in the lava. Shoot the lava glob hanging from the ceiling. The
lava glob is fairly close to you from the ledge you are standing on. Jump
over to the ledge across from you and shoot any Fireborn that come up the
spiral ramp after you. Pick off any Fireborn you can hiding around the Lava
falls.
Go to the bottom of the spiral ramp, collect any goodies along the curved
back wall.

(53D) Daneille: Grapple up to the small cave and drop back down.

(53J&D) Face the lava and go over to the far right. When the lava recedes
jump over to the step you made earlier by shooting the lava glob in the
ceiling. Jump over to the next land mass, and the next, go up the ledge
shoot the fire born that jumps out of the lava fall to the right. Note the
hole in the bottom of the wall to the right just past the lava fall, this is
the way out. First go around the ledge to a cave at the end and collect any
goodies there. Return to the hole and exit through it. Turn to the left and
continue to the next area.

(54J&D)
“Heart of Fire” Note the blue bar across the top of the screen. It’s time to
meet Alpha Fire Born. Arguably the toughest boss to beat in the game on the
Oblivion difficulty level.
Go to the edge of the ledge. Note the glob up over to the left. Shooting
that glob, after you have dropped down, will temporarily solidify the lava
below . Shooting it before you drop down just wastes your ammo.

This boss is easy to kill on the Easy level, however it takes some strategy
on the Oblivion level. Well here is the strategy. Drop down move over to the
left to get Alpha to swim after you. When he has rounded the peninsula and
started coming down after you, run back over to the right and if all goes
well he will stop at the end and swim back and forth with you just out of
his firing range. Hit him 16 times with the Tech arrows, or 11 Sniper Rifle
shots, (3 sniper shots on the easy level then shoot the lava glob in the
ceiling and finish him off with the napalm or RPG) anymore than that and he
will dive into the lava and fully regenerate, if he ever dives it’s over for
you if you are playing the Oblivion level so you have to hit him with all
the RPG’s or Napalms you can before the lava crust liquefies and he is able
to dive. Throw in some regular Fireborn helpers and the show is on. When you
are done collect the Gem of Fire and jump into the river. Don’t bother
trying to swim up stream there isn’t anything there, and it can hang up your
game.

(Just for Fun: There is an I.R. point in the wall just to the left of the
Gem of Fire. Also Joseph (I got Joshua under there as well) can slip under
the lava crust near the gem of fire and swim around in the lava below as if
it were water. It is difficult to get out, but not impossible. As far as I
know there isn’t anything special in the “lava” under the crust.)

(55J&D)
“Gate to Oblivion” When you emerge under water in the lake that is below the
drawbridge swim under water over to the right and collect the twenty health
pack. Surface and swim over to the bank, jump out and go inside the
building, collect the stuff, flip the switch, go out and get on the
elevator, when it starts going up run and jump over on top of the tree that
is by the building, then over on top of the roof, collect the icons, drop
down flip the switch inside the building again and ride the elevator up to
the top and jump off.

Climb up the back of the Pyramid, jump around and collect the icons then get
the PSG Part in the middle. Go out in front of the Pyramid and place the Gem
of Fire in it’s place to lower the drawbridge. Note: The PSG wont work on
Oblivion Priests, the Fire Swarm Shotgun doesn’t work very well on them
either. You will get the last piece of the PSG in Refinery one. Cross over
the draw bridge for the final chapter of the game.
Destroy Oblivion’s three minions and continue to the clear warp portal,
avoid getting the Razor Wind unless you don’t for some reason already have
it so you won’t have to switch weapons again. Enter the warp portal.

(56J&D)
“The Outskirts” The Cerebral bore (not Possessor) works well here, or the
Sniper rifle if you are skilled in using it. The Storm Bow works well on the
easy level against the Oblivion spawn. When you reach the opening of the
tunnel a new objective will pop up and all of the objectives can be summed
up like this “Kill everything and find your way out to the next area.” Spawn
will start dropping down from the ledge, then they will come from the left
of that ledge, then a few more from the left when you get down there. Those
huge blades will deflect your shots so try for the legs when possible.

The spawn throw grenades at you when they get close enough to you, and that
huge blade is not just for looks. Needless to say you wont last very long
when they are on top of you I just hope for your sake you aren’t stuck with
the grenade launcher when that happens.
Follow the icons get the stuff. Continue to the large door to the left with
health and ammo in front of it. Go in the next small door to the left climb
the ladder when you get close to the top locate the spawn while still on the
ladder and sniper him. Go to the top and wait for the spawn below to give up
their search for you. Drop down go out the door and locate the two spawn in
the tower way out in front of you use the goggles if you have them.

Watch for spawn coming from the right. Move forward toward the tower until
you have a ladder to your left.

(56D) Daneille: Go up the ladder down to the end of the tunnel grapple up to
the ledge collect the stuff. Drop down go back out the tunnel drop down to
small ledge by the ladder then to the floor.

(56J&D) Continued. Follow the icons down and locate the icon on a rock close
to the lava to your right, drop down to it. Jump over to the bottom of the
observation tower collect the icons, locate the icon over on the bank and
jump over the railing to it.
Follow the ledge up, shoot the two spawn hiding around the corner out in
front of you.
Note the large door over to the left, and the ladder to the right of where
the spawn appeared.

Climb that ladder. Sniper the spawn around the left corner, go down the
tunnel get the icons and cerebral bore. Drop down the ledge go to the right.
You are back where you came in go back to the bottom of the observation
tower jump back over to the ledge and go into the large door noted earlier.

(57J&D)
“Chaos Entrance” Move over to the left side when the door opens run in and
go into the cover area to the left. Move to the wall closest to the door you
entered the room through. Goggles on. Locate and sniper the spawn up on the
ledge on the right side, then the one up on the tower to the left. If two
spawn come running shoot them.
If they don’t come running locate the spawn in the back right corner of the
next room, then the one over to the left in that room. There isn’t anything
in that room. Move to the door of that next room turn left and go in the
door with the elevator, hit the switch on the wall. Move toward the blue
energy bridge you just switched on and take a right down the corridor (not
over the energy bridge yet)

(58J&D)
“The Outskirts” Shoot the spawn coming around the corner continue to the top
of the observation tower go around the ledge clockwise get the stuff drop
down inside the tower. Flip both switches.  Go back up the ramp and back the
way you came in.

(59J&D)
“Chaos Entrance” Walk onto the energy bridge and drop down to the floor go
through the large door that is right there closest to the bridge back into a
previous area.

(60J&D)
“The Outskirts” Go through the large door right over the energy bridge into
the tunnel straight ahead collect the stuff blow up the barrels from a safe
distance.

(60J) Joseph: Go into the hole get bores, drop down off the ledge go up the
ramp go to the right side of the concrete structure, drop down to the small
ledge beside the ladder then down to the floor. go to the right then back
across the energy bridge into the large door.

(60D) Daneille: Go back out across the energy bridge and in the large door.

(61J&D)
“Chaos Entrance” Go through the next door and back into the elevator that is
over to the left just before you go through the next large open doorway.
Collect any icon you may have missed earlier. Go across the energy bridge
follow the icon trail carefully spot and sniper the trigger happy spawn
waiting for you inside the next tunnel. Drop into the hole and let the next
spawn charge to his destruction. Locate and sniper the next spawn. Sniper
the one across the lava to the left.
Then give the one in front of the exit what for. Jump over to the icons then
out to the hole with a ladder drop down the hole.

(62J&D)
“Drilling Sector” At the next hole with a ladder position yourself just to
the inside of the right rung of the ladder. Drop down. (now the right rung
of the ladder would be to your right if you were standing at the bottom of
the ladder facing the ladder.) Anyway if you do it right the spawn behind
the ladder wont react to you, then you can creep to the right facing the
ladder and donate a bullet to his head. (you can’t shoot through the ladder
you have to clear it.) Sniper the next spawn guarding the bridge. After you
cross the bridge sniper the spawn around the corner to the left. As soon as
you squeeze that shot off cut the scope off and run back across the bridge
as if your health depended on it.

Going back across the bridge to the right are a bunch of spawn hiding at the
dead end.
There is some health and ammo down there but you are probably going to take
a beating getting it. So is it worth it? You be the judge.
If they charge you are going to have to waste them all. They made you do it,
I know you didn’t really want to. If that’s the case by all means get their
goodies.

Going to the left after the bridge takes you to a small building to the left
with a window in it. Just past that building up to your left in a sniper
tower is another spawn. Spot him before he spots you. Go inside and flip the
switch in the small building to your left. Collect all the icons in the
area.

(62D) Daneille: Go into the tunnel that is now open. Don’t dilly dalley at
the entrance or you may get whacked by those spawn that were down at the
dead end. That is unless you have already destroyed them. Grapple over to
the other side of the lava.

(63J)
“Ore Transport” Joseph: Go down to the broken metal bridge in the lava jump
over to the ledge to the left locate and sniper the spawn up over to the
left. Jump up and continue around to the cave to the left past the crates
sniper the spawn inside.

(63D)
“Ore Transport” Daneille: Shoot the spawn in the tower out front and the one
in the cave to the right.

(63J&D)
“Ore Transport” Jump up on the crates then up onto the transport rail. Turn
toward the shovel end of the mining equipment walk the rail to the shovel,
jump over to the shovel climb and jump your way up to the top jump up on top
of the steel beam that goes to an opening with a light in it which is also
to the left side of the flashing red light below it.
Walk the steel beam Jump up to the room with the light, drop down the hole,
collect the stuff, drop down the other hole flip the switch. Go in the door
behind the flashing red light.

Shoot the spawn behind the door to the right. Shoot two more spawn that come
running to help. Collect the icons out of the small tunnel. Enter elevator.
At the top there may be more spawn in the piston area collect the stuff go
from room to room and back to the drilling sector, stay clear of the blue
lighted window if you happened to avoid the spawn that were down at the dead
end. Go back the way you came and drop down the elevator shaft. Turn left.
(Do not walk into the room that the overhead conveyor runs into, those
blades are used to crush rock so you can imagine what it will do to your
character.) Enter the rusty doors beside the elevator. Flip the switch. The
next area may or may not have enemies in it. Flip the next switch.

(64J&D)
“The Gauntlet” When the doors open run straight ahead through the hall way
then slightly to the right to go across the bridge be ready to shoot a spawn
that may be standing in your path, the spawn regenerate in here so fighting
them is not the best option. When you get to the end of the bridge go to the
right follow the icons up the ramp. Note there is a gap between the
transport and the top of the ramp try to jump over it onto the transport if
you don’t make it your character is dead.

Once you are on the transport move to the back side between the steel
railings this will give you some cover. The backside will be the side
furthest away from the direction of travel.

Get the cerebral bore out. The Storm Bow also works well on the easy level.
Kill the spawn, try to get all of the ones to the left first.
When you enter the next covered area you will see a yellow icon in the cross
walk between the covered areas. Jump down to it. Note that there are two
transports that run through this area you don’t want to get onto the other
one because it will leave you stranded out above the lava. Run into the
door. When you enter the next door some spawn will come after you from the
left use whatever weapon you want. The cerebral bore works well after you
fire it duck back inside the door to avoid any grenades that might get
thrown at you.

After two or three spawn are eliminated continue in the direction they came
from go to the left to the large door. Get any goodies you can to the right
of the door and go in.

(65J&D)
“Refinery One.” When the next door opens shoot the two oblivion priests one
to the left the other to the right. When they are gone collect all the stuff
from the four small areas including the final piece for the PSG weapon.
Nevertheless this isn’t the place to try it out.

Position yourself in the area that is to the left facing the machinery into
the back corner where the walls join on the side that is closest to the
door. Get out the razor wind. Locate the spinning machine and destroy it
with the razor wind. You will hear foot falls above you spawn will
continuously drop down from the platform above you. You will need to take
out one of them. Select the cerebral bore. You need to run over to the
opposite area on the other side of the room and stand in the back corner
that is closest to the door. Before you get half way across the room to the
opposite side a spawn will drop down shoot a bore and continue to the corner
once you are in the back corner no more spawn should come after you.

Use the razor wind to destroy the other spinning machine. As you exit to the
door eliminate any spawn in your way once you get out the door they will
stop regenerating and the room will be empty. After you transition into the
gauntlet area turn back around and go back into the refinery. If no spawn
are there and you get a “Ore processing plant destroyed” You are OK.

Pause the game just to make sure that the objective is complete.
If it isn’t you are going to have to do some more whacking on the machinery
it can be stubborn sometimes. When you are finished go back out the door.

(66J&D)
“The Gauntlet” Save the game. You can use the new PSG weapon use the green
“B” button on the controller and choose the PSG weapon at the bottom. Cool
looking. Yes?
This is an awesome weapon so powerful that in bends the graphics of the
game!
It never runs out of ammo, however it takes a while to recharge.

The game counters this firepower capability by regenerating new enemies only
after the previous enemy is dead so they can’t be killed because they don’t
even exist yet.
Enemies can still attack you with their weapons if they are in firing range.
Once you fire it you will have to resist the pull of the gravity that sucks
all the enemies in the area to their deaths, it will vaporize all existing
enemies in a room except Oblivion priests and bosses. Oddly enough it will
hurt Oblivion’s first form but will never kill it.

When the door opens fire the PSG and stand back. If any spawn were in there,
they aren’t now. Run back out and to the right to the small door over to the
right down the hall through the door and into the covered transport area .

(About the transport areas: There are three transport areas, covered and
otherwise, that are safe to get out onto to use the PSG. The first area with
the large ramp where you first get on the transport. The next is the covered
area with the yellow icon in the middle which leads to the first ore
processing plant. The last area is at the very end where you exit to the
Central Nexus area. If you get off anywhere else you may get stuck there and
have to reload a saved game because there is no way of getting the
transports to reset and travel by going into another area. For example going
back to the refinery or going into the Central Nexus area will reset the
transports.)

Forget the transports for the moment. Once the PSG is fully charged it will
beep and all the lights on it will be lit. To the left and right are spawn.
Shoot a singularity from the PSG up into the center of the ceiling of the
middle of the large area to the left. (Don’t let it pull you out into the
lava below) Do the same for the area to the right. Watch the spawn float out
up to the singularity like the rebirth scene from Logan’s Run the TV show.
I thought that was so cool!

Once all of the spawn are gone from both sides run back down to the refinery
and then back out to this covered area. When you come back through the door
to this area the transport that you never want to get on, will be blocking
your path, when it is out of the way run through the center section and up
the wall to the middle of the other transports passage. When it comes jump
on it a position yourself on the backside.

Get the cerebral bore out. Shoot any spawn you can still find. Don’t use the
PSG while you are on the transport or you will probably get pulled off to
your death.

When it gets to the end the transport will stop for a while.
Over on one side is a door just outside the door on the Easy level is a full
health.
Get the health and enter the door. Save the game after you transition into
the next area then turn around and come back out into the gauntlet area.

There are a bunch of goodies on the ledge on the opposite side of the room.
Go through the center passage of the covered area and climb the transport
passage wall, jump over to the ledge collect the stuff. Wait for the
transport for that side to return, it will take a while so be patient. It is
possible to jump back over to the passage area but highly unlikely that you
will make it. I know it doesn’t look like a tough jump but it is.
When the transport returns and half of it is blocking the passage jump over
to the bottom of the transport as if you were trying to jump to the floor of
the transport passage area.

You wont make it on top of the transport but you will make it to the passage
area floor.
Go back over to and into the door to the transition area and save the game
again. Come back out into the gauntlet area and climb the wall of the
passage area for the transport you always want to ride. Jump on the
transport when it comes back and ride it all the way back to the end. When
it gets to the ramp at the other end jump down and go across the bridge to
the other side of the room.

Warning! Do not go into the small hall way and activate the doors it will
cause the spawn to start regenerating, if you go through the next door and
the doors close, you will be trapped, and will have to reload a saved game.

This next part is frustrating. There are three icons on pipes on this side
of the room. You have to jump down to the pipe, make sure you are on the top
center of it. Face the second pipe run and jump over to it, get the icon,
get to the top center run jump to the first pipe top center, then jump back
up to the room floor. Try making your jumps away from the steel beams.
Believe me it isn’t easy, and if you don’t do it perfectly your character is
dead. Worse than that you have reload the game and ride the transport all
the way back over here. Would you rather be fighting the spawn too at the
same time?

If you save the game in this area it wont put you back here when you reload
and you wont have the icons you worked so hard to get so don’t overwrite the
game you have if you are looking for another way to do this.
I don’t know of an easier, safer, or better way to do this if you want all
the icons to have 150 health before you fight Oblivion’s first form.

When you do finally get the three icons you must make it safely back on the
transport (remember the gap between the ramp and the transport, no
profanity!) ride it to the end. Then go in the door to the next area
“Central Nexus” and save the game.

There is no real advantage to allowing deaths to rack up trying to get these
three icons you still will have to ride the transport all the way back
across so you might as well reload the saved game each time you die.

(67J&D)
“The Central Nexus” When the door opens spawn will come running from the
left side there is also one up on the ledge behind the railing to the right.
Shoot a PSG singularity one sniper them with the sniper rifle. Get the two
icons from the small room and jump on the elevator. Take out the spawn at
the top and the others that come running. Blow the barrels to the left and
take out the spawn on top the tower out in front.

(67J) Joseph: Go in the hole and follow it to the area with the barrels go
out and to the left to the second refinery door enter it.

(67D) Daneille: Go forward and grapple up to the top of the tower collect
the icons. Drop down and kill the spawn move forward to the door to refinery
two and enter it.

(68J&D)
“Refinery Two” Do this refinery just like the first one in (65J&D) You can
actually get health from the spawn if you get them before they whack you,
and get close to full health trading ammo for health. It takes some
practice. If you saved your game at the transition at least you wont have to
go very far if you fail to get a positive health result. All you have to do
is shoot one of the spinning machines and they will drop down continuously
then hide in the corner. When finished go out and kill any spawn lingering
in the area outside the door.

(69J&D)
“Central Nexus” Blow the barrels over to the right of the tower to reveal
three yellow icons. Kill any spawn that come running. Proceed to the icons
in front of the horizontal transport, do not get on the transport, instead
drop down to the pipe and walk it over to the other side. In the next room
don’t flip the switch over to the right next to the door opening because it
activates the horizontal transport. collect the icons shoot  any spawn in
the next room which is through the open door, flip the switch in that room
and activate the energy bridge collect the icons on the other side come back
over the bridge and go around to the right shoot any spawn and collect the
stuff.

Go back out through the open door to the room with a single spinning
generator in the middle of the room. Go into the closed door move to the
left side of the tunnel. Shoot a PSG singularity up toward the ledge to the
left.
Go in to the right and climb the ladder, go around to the next ladder and
drop down to the small ledge to the right then to the floor, go over to the
door and sniper the spawn inside the room, enter and flip the switch collect
the stuff. Go out and climb back up the ladder then around to the other
ladder drop down the center of the ladder go into the open door.

(70J&D)
“Crystal Processing” Goggles on. Sniper the spawn. Move forward up the ramp
shoot three more spawn coming from the left. Collect icons, avoid blades of
the ore processor.
Collect the stuff in the cave go out over the ramp between the machines
through the gray metal door.

(71J&D)
“Staging Area” Shoot the barrels hug the wall to the left. Shoot the two
spawn to the right. Collect the icons. If you are playing the Easy level
there is a full health through the door at the end down by an energy bridge.
Unless your health is pretty low I don’t recommend going for it because all
the spawn you have killed will regenerate. If you do decide to go get it the
fastest way back is backtracking the way you went. You could also go across
the energy bridge after flipping the switch and return that way maybe even
riding the horizontal transport across the lava. If you are not playing the
Easy level don’t bother. You will want to go into the door with the
“Oblivion” sign above it. Choose the PSG weapon. Move to the left side of
the corridor.

(73J&D)
“Undershaft Down” When the door opens launch a singularity into the room.
This is possibly the best place in the game to use the PSG. Go in collect
the icons flip the switch get on the elevator and face the direction of the
room you came in from. Jump off the elevator at the top. Go in the door to
the left. (The door is there it’s just black darkness in front of it.
Wouldn’t wont you to see too clearly would we?) Sniper the spawn at the end
up on the ledge.

(73D) Daneille: Grapple over to the other side go to the left side and
grapple up to the top of the ledge. Go around to the large door and enter
it.

(73J) Joseph: Go back the way you came don’t try to get across the lava. Go
under the door on the opposite side and sniper the spawn the same way as the
last one. Go in and find the switch on the right side wall flip it and ride
the elevator up. Go to and under the partially open door. Goggles off.

(74J&D)
“In The Grasp of Oblivion” Shoot any spawn and collect the icons. Go into
the large center section and up the ramp to the left. When you shoot the
spawn guarding the switch another spawn will come running, dispose of him
also. Flip the switch. Go over to the other side and do the same thing. Flip
that switch. Shoot the spawn in the area in the middle of the room which
will be on the other side of the energy bridge, soon to be activated.
Go down the walkway and flip the last switch in the center to activate the
energy bridge.
On the other side of the energy bridge is a full health. You should’ve
collected five hundred icons by now. If you missed any I don’t know where
they are at. You don’t need 150 health to defeat Oblivion.

Go through the door note the circular walkway that goes around the top. When
the door closes behind you run back up to it and feel around for the switch
to open it, and know that you aren’t going to get out of here any time soon
Boo ha ha ha... Yes Well. Down below is a child sitting in the center of the
room see him with your sniper scope? Don’t go down there yet. On this side
of the white line at the bottom is regenerating health and ammo so load up
with everything you can get staying on this side of the white line.
When you are resupplied approach the child.

Pay close attention to your health when fighting Oblivion. If it gets down
to thirty get outta there! You must fight oblivion on this ground floor you
can’t really hurt him from up on the ledge. The PSG will hurt him but will
never kill him and switching to another weapon can be difficult. Shoot
Oblivion in his open hand or when he slams that blue ball hand to the floor
when he starts flashing sock it to him with the Napalm cannon or Fire Storm,
again watch your health, if you die you start all over, so you will have to
reload the game if you don’t want a death credited to you.

You will spend most of your time running around the top circular walkway
waiting for health and ammo to regenerate below. Drop down and get the stuff
you need then go back up a ramp to run around some more. Oblivion can’t hit
you as long as you are running around the top part. Health comes first once
you drop down he is invariably going to hit you some. Try to finish him off
with a final volley that leaves your health as high as possible. When his
first body is dead I strongly suggest that you save your game.
If you want to go right back to fight Oblivion again later save it as a
different note.

Go out to the now open door and into it slightly. Oblivion priests will come
one at a time from the left they will stop in the same place in front of you
before they shoot so set up the target for your Razor Wind there. The first
six wont have any problem, the seventh one will get hung up, encourage him
by moving forward some then when he comes move back and pop him. Continue
down the corridor the next four priests will meet you before you get to the
health and ammo when you see one coming watch him and wait for him to set up
then take his head off. Collect the stuff.

At the end is an intersection the center door straight ahead is locked. Go
to the left.
When the next door opens locate the priest in the door way down at the end,
an RPG round or Storm Bow arrow will work. Around the corner to the right
down the ramp is another priest, sniper him. Go down the ramp to the end and
flip the switch.
Go back the way you came. Go in the other door which was to the right of the
intersection and do the same thing, when you flip the second switch back
into it and then run back to the ramp at the top, locate the two spawn in
the center structure sniper them.

Congratulations you have destroyed all of Oblivion’s troops. You wont face
any more of them in this game.

The Final Show Down.

Go back out to the intersection and into the center door. Go across the
energy bridge.
Saving your game at this point will do you no good, if you fail your next
task you are going to have to fight all those priests all over again, and
again, until you win.
Select the PSG weapon, move into the next room, and move forward, after the
cut scene shoot the singularity to the bottom of the back of the room
between the ramps, after three seconds move toward the singularity.

Another way to defeat Oblivion’s final form is to run up the ramp to the
left, avoid the steel beam at the top in the middle run around it to go down
the other ramp. Running up and down the ramps in a circle stopping to shoot
until your health gets low then continuing the run until you’ve won. Wait
through the credits, there is no way to bypass the credits screen, for a
final cut scene with Addon and the council members then a cheat code.
Should you save the game? If you are playing one of your two Oblivion
difficulty level games to get the “Play as Joshua” cheat, yes you need to
save. If you want to fight the Final Showdown against Oblivion’s final form
again then don’t save.

This walkthrough was the result of many months of work I hope it helps.
