I. INTRODUCTION
================
Well. To be honest, i'm surprised to see this title while browsing on
the net searching an info for OG2 which released nearly 5 months
back>.<, i think i'll spent some time on this game until OG2 was
released, don't hope much just yet BUT i have a hunch this game'll rock
me for a while and the linear storyline will excel me more finishing
the faq, not like previous games that takes hundreds(no kidding :P)
hours of game play to figure it out how the quest system works, the
battle system of the game still working like the previous real time
action that we love very much^-^ while they're moving "dungeon raider"
type into "real time phase strategy" which is new to Tales series and...
Here goes nothing ^-^....

me repeat myself(I HATE IF THOSE THING HAPEN), and don't use Strange

gratitude or sort of it(u read my crap is more than enough^_^), my inbox
re Overloaded 2 times in less than 3 day for those stuff and thing, so
please understand me on this Condition ok? ONEGAISIMASU^^".
I would highly appreciate any help with the FAQ though, any

Introduction

After a few minutes watching some annoying dialogue(it's annoying
ever since i can't understand even a bit :P) u'll gain control of Furio
and Kyaro just head north to the lab where u can find Brown after some
chit-chat.... :P which is take quite a while, u'll start the 1st mission

Hmm not a bad start eh? u have Stahn, Rid and Lloyd team in the battle
and the enemy here're moderately easy except Elrein, u might not want
to confront her with Furio team ever since she's hit hard and mostly
will kill any member of furio team in 3 or 4 atk, i suggest having Rid
team fighting her ever since Farah heal'll help very much and keele
Fire Ball will kick her ass down to the ground :)
To open the locked door u'll need Furio wear "Touzoku/Thief" costume,
and u'll need Kyaro in "Gakusha/Scholar" costume to press the button at
the northern area of the map to create a bridge

After u finish the map Rifiru'll reward u with "Miko no Shouzoku"
(Colette costume for Kyaro), "Rashean Zome"(Farah Costume), "World Orb
Wand O_o??" (Genius costume for Furio) & "DekibrassO_o??" (Stahn Costume
for Furio).
And u'll have Kyle and Roni as the 2nd Team
After this explore the town for a While.
Then Go to the lab, keep talking and take the new mission

Confusing Stage all i did on this stage is take all the event[!] stuff
and bashing the enemy like a brainless idiot+_+ the 2 treasure box
is empty. The other Treasure can't be taken ever since Thief
costume and several other didn't work >.< the mission'll be over
immediately when u reach Howaid.

Note:
Ok, u'll need booth team to open the big door by force, the other can be
open with Kagiake set or Thief costume when u encounter Mary statue,
u'll be stone cursed By Pony and Craid after the event Philia'll come
and recover the stone cursed u and Mary(remember the Stone Cursed Philia
on Narikiri 2 lol) after that be ready to fight Barbatos. He is moving
quite fast but only have 1 hit for his melee atk and didn't do magic
very much(thought if he does, it can shave up to 70% of your hp capacity
right now^-^), pincer attack him and i guess this is another easy
battle ^-^".
After the Battle Philia and Mary'll Join your team

Note :
U'll see Lloyd and Colette for a brief moment at the start of the stage
just move toward Sanatos and take all the treasure box that u can take
(2 in the middle can be taken using Arche Later) while any of your
team're getting to close to Sanatos be ready to fight Lloyd and Colette,
they have great team work, watch out for Colette Hammer Fall, if u get
hit, Lloyd'll dish u really2x fast^-^, after the battle Sanatos'll
challenge the champion(it's u), hmm... he got pretty bad opening just
casting some spell and let his guard down, but when the thing heated up
(when he lost 1/2 of his hp), he'll use teleport and atk using Ground
Spike(umm... it's his hair^-^") that hit about 4 times and it'll instant
kill>.<, just move as far as possible from him when he using
teleportation.
Ps : i suggest before u fighting Lloyd u save your game and after u
finish the stage, go to costume shop and try to make Sanatos
costume XD, the fee is 37.500 gald(he may drop the Dragon Scale
to make his costume but the chance is very slim), if u wanna get
his costume earlier.(if u have confindence on your level, u might
try to steal it from him thought i havent confirm it yet :P, but
if it's out of your league and u don't have enough patience, just
skip it, u'll get the costume later near the end of the game)
After the Battle Lloyd and Colette'll join your team

Bridge Control near Daos, well fighting Daos is a lot easier than
Sanatos though he'll never hit u less than 3 digit :P and extraordinary
defense rating it's some kind of Endurance Battle between his Hp and
your Apple/Orange Gum^-^"

The enemy haven't improve much from last battle, in fact this stage is a
lot easier than the last, the objective here is to reach the stair at
upper right corner of the map with any of your team, the stage'll end
immediately afterward.

Note :
We found several strong enemy now like the undead Ghoul and skeleton
that we hate so much. They hit fast and have strong defense + regenerate
BUT the most annoying is Orc Jelly (that looks like blue slime), it have
enormous resistance against non elemental atk. Use magic on him or
elemental based character/skill.
When u encounter Daos and Elrein.... ehem.... we already know how tough
Daos was, he have a new Moves "Daos Crater" that can clear your team
if all of the member is close enough to him. u'll need a lot of Potion
and Healing spell when fighting him and.... Elrein, forgot :) she fight
like a "Long Range Coward" the only problem is, she only have melee atk
that makes her looks stupid and i believe u can dish her VERY VERY FAST.
My advice is "Ignore her, Kick Daos Ass 1st"
Ps: I've confirmed, on this stage u can steal "Miracle Pendant"
(Elrein costume) from Elrein.

I HATE THIS MAP! the fog hidden the enemy and the map're very hard to
navigate, u got only 30 turn to Persuade Reala and Rutee to join your
party. U can Persuade Reala with Kyle and Rutee with Mary, other
character that come cross their path will ask for butt kicked :P
Ps : In this stage, u also can steal "Lens"(Rutee costume) and "Kibou
no Pendant"(Reala costume) from the respective owner.

Not like previous stage, the map is easy to navigate, but the enemy're
very tough, especially Size carrier teleportation ability and knock down
Atk, watch out for Rid encounter, ever since he doing this map solo>_<
he'll most likely be dead fighting Farah/Keele^_^ let the real team
handle Farah and Keele, after u beat Farah & keele, they'll join forces
and waiting you at the gate on north side of map. They already have a
Foot print on their ass then... give them another one(though i believe
they're really pissed off this time^_^")
Ps: When Final encounter with Farah & Keele, u can steal their costume
using Rutee or thief Costume, that'll give the battle some challenge
^-^ and the chance of succeed'll increase greatly if u reduce their
hp below 300(umm u may pass Farah^-^").
After The Battle, Rid, Farah & Keele'll join your team.

Note :
Hmm, the enemy infested this stage is quite powerful, especially
Arachna that have incredible defense that makes my Lv 16 Lloyd only do
0 damages/hit XD, well watch out for the mimic at the left treasure box
(near center) after u dish every enemy on the map, have Furio open the
center Door, after some event, Pony and Craite appear, hmm... i suggest
u using Rutee Team(and make sure her team is strong enough to repel
Pony Stun Charm and Craite Poison Bomb +_+) the objective of using Rutee
is, to steal "Tora no Kegawa"(Pony Costume) from Pony and "Fake Fur"
(Craite Costume) from Craite, they hit like a wimp but they moves really
fast and the posion/paralize effect're annoying +_+.
Ps: if their costume aren't your style, just skip it, u can bought it
later on the grocery.
After this, there's 3 option for the next mission which can be taken one
after another, in short "u'll not miss anything at all".

Before the mission begin they told u to setting a trap to slow down
enemy movement(thought it wasn't necessary if u guard the village 4
stair entrance :), the 1st enemy reinforcement will appear at the right
side of the map on phase 3 while the last will appear near the main
house ^-^ on phase 5 BUT, don't worry, Fog team will also appear there
and, his team can handle the 2nd reinforcement easily.
After the battle Fog'll join your team.

The requirement to accomplish this stage is very annoying, u see those
electric pillar? u need to find 2 real one(the 1st is located at upper
left most of the map and the 2nd located lower rightmost umm a bit
hard to explain X O <- the right one :P) and shut them off with Harold

if u find the fake, it'll explode, if u find the real one, Harold need 3
phase to turn them off and the enemy reinforcement'll keep coming near
her. I advice u to set 1 of your team as her Bodyguard ever since if
she's being K.O, it's game over and the enemy here are easy to handle.
When fighting Chizel which is incredibly Easy if killing her is your
main priority she has some powerful Magic atk but it's cancelable^-^
anyway killing her without stealing his "Yami no Tama"(her costume)
sounds crappy... BUT i burn out 4 Orange Gum or equal to +/- 100
stealing attempt^-^".

Well I don't have quite understanding on this stage but to complete
the stage, u must shut off all the electric pillar by simply defeat fake
Zeros and Shiina who guards it. the other enemy're easy to fight against
but Fighting Zeros and Shiina is a bit difficult. The main reason the
battle is so hard because they do not stagger when getting hit while
running and they move VERY FAST! watch out for Shiina summoning spell
it'll do lot of damage though she's rarely done and when the team is
low on HP, Zeros have healing skill :P. The 2nd reinforcement'll be
repeated once be prepare to burning some livestock on this stage and
1 last thing don't forget to steal their costume(Korin no Suzu & Miko no
Reifuku).
Ps: When u steal the costume, i hardlly advice u do it 1 by 1, when u
intend to steal Zeros, Kill Shiina then do stealling on Zeros,
when u intend to steal Shiina, do the oposite because they can make
some short work to your team +_+(UNDINE DOES! HURT)
After the battle Zeros and Shiina'll join your team.

PS: I'm lucky, the only costume i don't have only Harold and Kratos, it
eat up all my Apple/Mix and half Orange/Lemon Gum on my inventory
to steal those 2, they're a hero of Tales series, u can expect TOUGH

Yellow it'll be save to pass in the front of it. If u get hit, your team
will lost 1/2 of their Hp while when the enemy get hit, they'll be
instantly vaporized, the stage will end immediately after any of your
team reach the stair at north side of map.
After the battle, there's some event. Bad Furio grabbing "Key of Light"
but when he try to escape, Suzu'll encounter him and retrieve the key
to us.

When u arrive at the stair near Chelsea, u'll fight Valkyrie and i think

Costume) if u won the battle(i use Lloyd, Rid & Rifiru) Fighting
Valkyrie alone isn't to hard but those Firebird come and makes thing
difficult, try to dish them out first after that Pincer Attack Valkyrie.
NEVER EVER FIGHT HER FACE TO FACE IN FRONT coz nothing can stop her if
she use Valkyrie Saber. U need to hit her from the back to stop her and
RAY is powerful Magic attack my Cless team're accidentally defeated on
this stage because underestimate those Firebird :P

Another Confusing stage and there is nonstop random enemy reinforcement
in this mission. when u get close to Yggdrasil, u may be blocked by some
Electric belt just move your team 1~1 to try open the path(at least that
what i did-_- i level my team from 40 to 50>.< in this stage) when u
encounter Yggdrasil, U can Steal "Kursis no Kiseki"(Yggdrasil costume)
from him. He have several devastating elemental magic but will not do
damage over 2000 point the sequence move Ground Dasher and Dhirsnel can
be blocked and the damage goes random i think the lowest i ever had is
40/hit and the highest 600/hitO_O?? another good news is, he moves
slowly and mostly will stand on his ground casting magic spell etc with
my 49 Cless, 45 Lloyd & 48 Mint and set the AI to the most TP
Consuming i can just rush in with Cless "Koukan Shou Teni" and "Jigen
Zan" without even need to worry with Yggdrasil "Dhirsnel" Counter and
Mint react very fast with her healing spell and Acid Rain, will make
the battle even shorter, i thought i dish his ass in less than 1 minutes
BUT! that's the easy way, the hard way is i using 51 Leon, 46 Rutee and
45 Meredy(that i wish Mint was aroundT-T), i burn out almost every Hp
healing Gum, TP wasn't a big problem eversince i equip Mental Ring
that recover 1% of TP by the time(can be bought at Grocery) and Fairy
Ring that reduce 50% of TP consumption(can be steal from various Sword
type monster) and i fought him for almost 15 minutes to get the costume
-_-", well just for u to know, i almost desperate and repeat this stage
3 times to confirm if Yggdrasil costume can be stollen :), and if u
didn't get his costume here, u'll get it later near the end of the game.
PS: don't use every best Character that u have on this stage, because
after the mission, Kyaro need Back Up to>.<.

Ok, the puzzle here's a lot easier than Ancient City, all u need to do
is pressing the red button to shut off electric belt, or make a bridge
and u'll need Arche/Arche Costume Flying ability to turn on the first
switch, other'll be drown if they try^-^" and u will also see the
similar Laser Cannon like in the Demon Lab. The enemy will appear in
random maner, but it isn't infinite and much easier than fighting
Criminal/Bronze Golem.
Fighting Barbatos: This Boss'll make Yggdrasil Cry, he cast magic very2x
FAST and tend to do nonstop cast that'll shave 1300~1500 damage and
almost can't be cancelled(my Valkyrie always miss the atk>.<)i suggest
to fight him using 2 pure Fighter(other than Valkyrie) and MINT/Rifiru
or anyone with "Nurse" spell and pincer attack him coz his final waza
tend to kill all of your team, if they get hit("Genocide Believer" that
looks like Daos Laser and can shave up to 2000+ damage)another bad news,
he moves very fast and high defense rating^-^"
And if the above info, isn't satisfy u with the difficulty rating :),
i play this stage and manage to finish it 5 times until i can grab that
"Cinuraretaono"(Barbatos costume) and i have lost count how many my
Kyaro team being kicked and failed the mission
Warning: Fighting him as usual already hard like hell, but if u insist
to strip him naked, i don't responsible if anything happen
to your GBA ^-^", u will get his costume near the end of game
no mater what :P or u get lucky and he drop it(3% cough cough)
After u finish the stage, u'll receive "Key of Hope".

Well, quite straight forward mission, just make your way to those Bad
clone of yours, u will fight them 3 times.
1st battle : Fighter Bad Furio & Knight Bad Kyaro
Tactic : Pincer Attack them and there'll be dead for sure, watch
out with Bad Furio "Shishisenkou" the attack is a
knock down and Bad Kyaro can dish u very fast.
2nd battle : Judas & Mint(costume not real :P)
Tactic : just rush in and sent Mint to her graves as fast as
possible before she cast Acid Rain or u'll be in big
trouble :P just watch out with Judas "Majin Ren Satsu" and
most of his magic attack that do extreme damage on AoE just
like Barbatos.
Note : u can steal Judas for his and Leon costume(what the hell
i'm talking about-_-")steal 1 got 1 free :). i didn't
manage to steal Mint costume tough.
3rd battle : Yggdrasil & Chizel
Tactic : i use my last default team Lloyd and Rutee costume and the
only skill i use is Lloyd "Shuu Souha Zan"(48tp use) and
Rutee "Bloody Rose" when i start a battle, i immediately
change the battle formation Lloyd at the front most while
Rutee on the back most [R,_,_,_,_,_,L]then i rush in slash
Yggdrasil 1x to cancel his magic atk, then order rutee to
use Bloody Rose on him to take him for a second, while i
rush into Chizel Back and immediately use Shuu Souha Zan
to push her back toward Yggdrasil that being stabbed with
Rutee Bloody Rose keep casting Bloody Rose and Shuu Shouha
Zan and change the battle order again [_,_,_,_,R,_,L] so
Rutee will not running like an idiot after using Bloody
Rose. keep spamming those skill and i believe they'll be
toast in less than 30 second. Note if they got u in a pinch
with their magic combo, they can toast u in less than 10
second :) watch out for Chizel atk, u might want to guard
for a while before u rushing in her back.
After the battle u'll be rewarded with... Miracle Pendant, Dragon Scale,
Darkness sphere, Cinuraretaono, Deris Emblem, Kursis no Kiseki &
Kibou no Kagi(Key of Hope)

Note :
The objective is to convince Chester with Cless and the stage will be
over(the same confusing map+_+) u can steal "Mascot"(Amy Costume)from
him, thought u can buy it later on Katz Man Shop and there's 1% chance
(which i don't encourage u to do repeating encounter fighting him, 1% is
very VERY SMALL chance, u can steal Elven Bow from Eleky Archer that can
be found on Stage 11th Eldest Child Master Mansion and, it's a LOT
easier) he'll droping "Elven Bow"(Chester Costume) when u win an
encounter against him.
After the battle Chester will join your team.

X. FAQ

Q: U're Kidding me, THIS GAME IS HARD LIKE HELL!>:(
A: Umm, the only tales series other than this, i ever play is Phantasia,
Destiny, and Eternia and so far the hardest to fight against is Daos
on Eternia and single duel with Valkyrie and i found this game at
4~5 difficulty in the scale of 10 compared to those 2, i think if u
manage your team well, u'll have no prob against most enemy on the
game as example the basic in strategy games is, u need A Tank,
Attacker and Assist Unit(or can be spelled Fighter, Mage/Archer &
Nurse/Healing Unit). the basis is like having Cless, Arche and
Mint will survive a LOT longer than having Cless, Stahn and Rid on
a single team(BUT if it's Cless Rid and Lloyd for "Triple Akisazame"
maybe they can dish the enemy a lot faster with minimal drawback on
a Pure FIGHTER Team). But on some special case i prefer having Hybrid
character on my team, of course their performance were no match
against pure job as Mint, Arche, etc... but so far my experience have
taught me that, the Offensive Ability'll increase a lot more. Some
simple sample is having Lloyd, Rutee and Meredy in a single team,
Lloyd melee atk is VERY 2x fast i've found none Tales Hero who equal
him on close combat, but the skill have years cool down period that
makes him vulnerable if he miss, and Rutee as i explain on my
Walkthrough, u'll need to STEAL a LOT if u want to get as many
costume u can get, in a single play and later on she'll learn Heal &
she's not that shabby on Melee combat(Bloody Rose is 1 of my favorite
moves) and Meredy is a Hybrid Character, u already have heal on
Rutee then, i don't think u need another one. Meredy have great
elemental spell and some support that i find very2x useful such as
Barrier and Holy Bless.
Now then we talk strategy, when engage the enemy, u must recognize,
which unit is a Tank, Attacker or Support after that, TARGET the
Attacker 1st, because usually they have low Hp but HIT very hard,
when u grab the Attacker, Immediately change the battle order, so
your Attacker/weak character didn't get into pinch, which happen
very often and usually will kill him/her no matter how powerfull
he/she is.....
PHEW i alreaddy talk to much-_-" the morale of these 363 words of
Bullshit is "KNOW YOUR OWN WEAKNESSES".
If the games will become to easy there's no challenge and when
there's no challenge then the game is booring rite? :) u read this
363+++ words of "BULLSHIT" then i believe u're not the kind of that
spoiled brat who begging those hell of cheat code even before they
play the game. Are u? ^-^
Q: Where can i get "Fairy Ring"(50% tp consume for skill)?
