1. Introduction
================

This is the walkthrough for CSI: Unsolved! on DS, released in 2010. I've written
it in French and this is a translation of it.

I don't own a DSi, so, no word about the minigame using the camera will appear
here as I can't play it.

If I missed something, you can contact me, I will analyze your email and if
worthy, I'll update this file.

This walkthrough is currently published on:

2. Keys for understanding the walkthrough
==========================================

Understand that the stylus is your new best friend because without it, you'll
be slowed. So, you know what to do when I'll say "tap" or "point".

For investigating a crime scene, you need to use the stylus to move around it.
Don't hesitate to abuse its use. I'll indicate you the right area.

When I say "hand", I want to mean "gloves". It's just the design of the icon
that made me use the former than the latter.

If you need to change locations, you have to tap the arrow in order to exit
the scene for the map.

For the lab, it's structured in three parts, just follow the name I'm giving
in order to go in the right place.

Some minigames are hard to explain because they're visual. For them, I'm giving
tips for solving them.

When you're in the lab, you need to point the machines with exclamation points,
then on the evidence with the same symbol and then on Analyze or Process (I
remind you that I don't have an English version of the game). All of the
collected items are processed by you, under Hodges's, Wendy's or Archie's watch.

The walkthrough tries to make you have 100% in questionning and collecting.
Processing is the only field where unforeseen factors can alter your score:
random minigames for example (fingerprints). For the Suspects Files, you'll find
the origin of information in Part 4.

Some minigames are so easy that I decided not to put the solution. I prefer to
put one when it requires more brainstorming from your part (like the last case
where DNA is a real challenge or the first case with your first toxicology
report).

About your discussions with the people you work with, it has no influence on
your score, so, go ahead, answer what you want.

|CASE 1: BETTER TO BURN OUT
|CSI: Sara Sidle
|Victim: Jodi Kurt
|Suspects: Katherine Stoddard, Armen Beckner, Cameron Beary and Freeman Conlen
|Special mention: Gil Grissom (Sara and Jim)
|-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
|Collect: 20 pieces of evidence to find
|Analysis: 16 analysis to do
|Questions: 24 pieces of evidence (or nothing) to show
|Files: 30 pieces of information to find
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

= Lab =

Talk with Brass so that he can send you to the Charleston Center.

= Charleston Center =

Talk with Sara. Normally, about Jodi in your file, you should have the first
point.

Tap on the camera recording the door (you should find it more or less in the
dark) and then point on the little plate on its side:

1) Series number
          Where: Entrance camera
          Tool: Brush
= Clean the screen with the stylus sot that Sara can
                     see the series number.

Take the following objects:

2) Cup of coffee (with Jodi's DNA)
Where: Near the central sofa, in the right, on the floor
         Tool: Hand

Tap on the table on your right and take the following items:

3) Green pills
         Where: Bottom of the glass
         Tool: Hand

4) Ring (with fingerprint)
Where: Near the green cup of coffee
         Tool: Brush
= Powder on the facing side, near the diamonds
= You have to blow air in the microphone

You can also observe these objects:
- Scorpion pattern
- Mirror
- Movement detector on the camera (red button)
- Laptop
- Letters from fans
- Teddy bear
- Clothes on the floor

Then, tap on the arrow in the left bottom corner to exit the scene.

You meet Armen Beckner, the victim's producer. Speak with him before going to
the lab because you'll get a new filled point in your files.

= Lab =

Talk with Hodges then process the objects you collected a few moments ago. The
order is up to you.

The machines are classified in this order - numbers before the proofs indicate
where you'll find them.

(1) DNA Analysis
(2) Fingerprints Analysis
(3) Materials
(4) Audio/Video Analysis
(5) Toxicology
(6) Microscopic Clues

(1) DNA on the cup of coffee: Jodi Kurt
The goal is to recreate the DNA by placing the form sequences at their
intended places. Use your stylus on DNA in the bottom to show the next
sequence. The top of your screen shows DNA parts in a random order, which
means that I can't give you an exact solution. But I can show you the
final DNA. As this first puzzle is easy, I will not write anything.

(2) Fingerprint (Ring): Cameron Beary
The goal here is to choose two points and to search for a suspect. If the
choosen points are the right ones, the result will be a name. If no, you
have to have to choose new points (you know at least the number of the
right ones). Unfortunately for you, the puzzle is random, so, I give only
     who you'll find.

(6) Blood sample: Painkillers
The goal here is to make a molecule. Each ball is colored. You have to
drag and drop molecule parts in the right list on the pattern. The colors
must be related: a blue ball goes on a blue ball when you have to stack
them I'm giving you the pattern with the colors, it will be up to you to
     find the right molecule part.

         - = Grey ball
         B = Blue
         R = Red
         G = Green

                                          B
                                            - G
                                          R     - B
                                      B     - R    -
                                        - G       R

Sara comes back with a video from the camera: Cameron Beary enters and exits
Jodi's room.

top right corner. Tap on it.

2) Jodi Kurt's saliva
         Where: Mouth
         Tool: Swab

If you look at the following list, you should get information you need for
scoring a 100% for the files.
- Eyes
- Scorpion jewels

You can observe:
