yeah and they each have a point. To me, there's always an
answer. Possibly a changing room "Other", which doesn't
COMPLETELY solve the transgender feeling of other-genderness
[because now there's a 3rd category] - but it would solve the
problem of changing with males when you don't feel male, or
changing with females when you don't feel female.
It would also solve the potential for abuse on both sides with
those who might take advantage, which is the sue-rs concern.
Wolves in transgendered clothing as it were - and it's a valid
concern.
It doesn't solve the transgender need for full acceptance
however, but as they're in the inbetween state, it's not
unreasonable to have a separate area until they have successful
completion of their gender reassignment.
Then again, it raises the "Separate but Equal" argument - shall
we return to those days?
