Tic Tac For Two
Tic Tac For Two is a simple, proof of concept, HyperCard stack
supporting multiple player stacks using AppleTalk to communicate. The
stack requires OS 7.1 and an AppleTalk network. You can also play
using <
https://infinitemac.org>. Should work in other emulators that
support AppleTalk. A demonstration and source code discussion can be
found here: <

## Setup:
An AppleTalk network with program linking enabled. Don't forget to
update Users & Groups to allow the owner (or guest) "to link to
programs on this computer".
## Instructions:
Click "New Game" to clear the board and start a new game.
Put your name in the "Name" field.
Click the "Phone" button to connect with an opponent.
You will be prompted to select a Macintosh and then HyperCard.
The opponent you select must be running the game. They will be asked
"Do you want to play X?" where X is the name you entered above.
If the opponent wants to play, their name will appear in the
"Opponent" field and their program address in the "Program Address"
field.
You will be assigned a game token. It will either be Bill Atkinson or
the ResEdit icon.
When you see the message "ready to play", start clicking squares to
select them.
Note: taking turns is not enforced. Caution: if you click too quickly,
the game may timeout. If this happens, just start a new game.
