PlayAIFF is a small program that takes advantage of the Sound Manager
version 7.0 (included in System 6.0.7 and up) which allows you to play
AIFF files and 'snd ' resources in the background from the disk, while
only taking up a small portion of memory for use as a temporary
buffer.
There is not really much practical use for PlayAIFF, but it is pretty
neat to play around with. You will be able to use it to its fullest
potential if you have large (over a minute in length) sounds, because
they play will very smoothly in the background while you are doing
other things.
