I know this is making the rounds on Facebook but haven’t seen this here. Dr. Pru Lee on the “Liz Cheney/Adam Kinzinger Against Trump” and “Pru Pru” Facebook pages just posted this. It starts:
Dear Democratic Party, I need more from you. You keep sending emails begging for $15, while we’re watching fascism consolidate power in real time. This administration is not simply “a different ideology.” It is a coordinated, authoritarian machine — with the Supreme Court, the House, the Senate, and the executive pen all under its control. And you? You’re still asking for decorum and donations. WTF. That won’t save us. I don’t want to hear another polite floor speech. I want strategy. I want fire. I want action so bold it shifts the damn news cycle — not fits inside one.
It continues in a righteous rant that absolutely captures my thoughts. And the reason I am contributing zero in response to any of these emails.
You want my money — prove you will fight for me by doing everything you can. Very simple, it you won’t fight for me, I don’t care if you don’t get reelected — in fact, everyone of of you should be primaried to get fighters in those seats. Bullies run over nice people and put them in prison, right now the elected democrats look like they just want to be the last ones thrown in jail.
BTW, I am one of those reluctant Republicans who wanted to keep the Republican Party sane as it descended into the GQP, then I became and Independent. Now, I am just angry.
