Fanatics and their mob-boss [1]

Face the truth! The orange mob boss is now so confident he has beaten down any serious resistance, that he feels free to force law firms and others to literally pay the equivalent of ‘protection money’ if they want to avoid having weaponized government agencies make trouble for them!
Whatever media remains that is still willing to tell the truth will soon be facing the same pressure: Either curb criticism or face paralyzing lawsuits or regulatory action.
If there was anyone left in the GOP who wasn’t one of the fanatics in the first place, he or she has by now thrown in the towel. We would be foolish to still expect any help from that quarter. Yet without them, and without SCOTUS or the DOJ, options are shrinking.
And with each day and each successful ‘attack’ on one of his perceived ‘enemies’, the mob-boss and his fanatics grow stronger.
Once entrenched, it’s almost impossible to dislodge fanatics. It required outside armies to finally destroy the Nazis, and even during the final moments, with allied armies at the gate, Nazi fanatics feverishly went around executing anyone showing signs of ‘disloyalty’.
Hitler himself, deep in his bunker with Russian armies only a few miles away, continued to order troop movements of units which no longer existed while his fanatical sycophants refused to tell him the truth.
I foresee large demonstrations in the summer, and I fear people are going to die.
In the final analysis, will service members really allow Trump and his fanatics to order them to invade other countries, or be willing to turn their guns on demonstrating Americans?
An inordinate number of service members come from those states providing the poorest education, and are then subjected to the nonstop venom of Fox News which runs in every barracks, beer hall, and Navy ship - after decades of Rush Limbaugh pouring out the same kind of poison. Can one wonder that these minds are taken over by rightwing preachings?
The future looks dark - and violent!
