Stop Calling it a Tariff [1]

Let’s stop saying tRump enacted a tariff and call it what it really is, which is a TAX! I hate to say it, but if Rethuglicans were in our position, they would have right away referred to this as an enormous tax on the American people. Full stop. Why can’t our own Democratic leadership become aggressive once in a while or ever for that matter and take tRump head on? Oh yes, because we are toothless and passive. I am of course speaking of the Democratic leadership and not the folks here and Democrats as a whole, when I say “we”, when I refer to them being toothless. I hope the rest of us take it on ourselves to continually call this a tax going forward. Eventually if we say it enough it will get through. So from this point on forget that other word for the time being and remember Republicans and tRump just imposed a huge TAX increase on the American public.
