Media tries to gaslight, depress Dem base: Politico BURIES Sen. Booker filibuster story [1]

This will be short & sweet, but anyone who craps on Dems to “do something”, etc. needs to recognize the true evil: corrupt, decrepit corporate media who never give Dems airtime or credit for accomplishments.
Now I don’t wholly disagree with the idea that Dems need to do more — and congressional Dems are clearly stepping up their game in response to pressure from our base — I just think any criticism needs to be framed in the context of: zero progress will happen without voting for Dems up and down the ballot so just stop crapping on them until they are back in control of Congress & the presidency.
Case in point: POLITICO has completely buried New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker’s filibuster, which frankly should be front page news. This is Dems finally, aggressively starting to put up a fight as their base has been apoplectic for them to start doing. This could be hugely energizing for our base, showing fight against the oligarchy like everyone wants them to more.
Instead, it’s obvious they don’t want to acknowledge anything good for Democrats or that would make Dems more appealing for voters of all stripes looking for fighters. Look how far below the fold they’ve buried this as of 1:30pm Eastern (pardon the crude screenshots):
As I’ve said before: If a Dem conveys the perfect message in a forest, and everyone around who can hear it has their heads buried in the sand…. the Dem is not the root issue that needs to be addressed. Take your anger out at the corporate/billionaire media.
We need to SUPPORT OUR DEMS, and build the Democratic Party brand back up from the (completely unfairly) toxic brand it is now. If we can’t rehabilitate the Dem brand with enough voters, we will not have a chance to win back progressive power to FINALLY stamp out Confederate MAGA poison for good.
That starts by squarely focusing on the true enemy of the people, which is not “weak Dems” but is anyone that supports Republicans in power. We can do this & overcome Trump 2.0 if we stop the circular firing squad & FOCUS!
