Yesterday I published the article linked here, entitled: The Ghosts of the 1973 Yom Kipper War are Calling: Who will hear them? The purpose was to have the past inform the present.
Israel’s attack in the Gaza will end, it must. NO Jew, not even Bebe Netanyahu can live with the accusation of committing Genocide. If Netanyahu continues those calls will not be exactly false, nor will they be absolutely correct. But Israel will disown itself of Bebe Netanyahu.
IN 1972 there was a terrorist attack at the Munich Olympics. Prime Minister Golda Meir launched a worldwide assault on terrorists associated with Black September, the group that committed the atrocities in Munich.. One by one these terrorists were hunted down and eliminated.
This is what Israel and Netanyahu must now turn to in its effort to destroy Hamas. The words of Che Guevara, about to be executed will always ring true. “Go ahead, you are only going to kill a man.” Israel must stick to killing men, and not destroy a society. Israel in trying to destroy the concept of Hamas, if it continues as is, will only create an army of martyrs that will rise from the ashes in Gaza.
