I was playing board games at a friend’s today and was afraid that I would not be back on the dot — but I made it home in time!
What to talk about… Are you observing Buy Nothing Day today? This day always reminds me of Rev. Billy & The StopShopping Choir. This video from a year ago is a little different from their usual protests. But the message is just as poignant.
Here’s a bit of Rock & Roll history that I did not know. I did not know this song was recorded in Portland, for example. Or that the FBI had to listen to it over and over (which is pretty funny to imagine). You?
