Trick or Treat: Boris Johnson is a Lying Shit (on TV) [1]

And, now for something completely deviant: Boris Johnson and John Cleese (of MONTY PYTHON) reportedly are BOTH going to be hosts on Britain’s GB channel . Cleese is hosting his own segment “the Dinosaur Hour” about British politics and other near-hysterical subjects (and so will Johnson, a different segment), truly a Flying Circus in real life: www.theguardian.com/...
www.bbc.com/… He already had to be warned about conflict of interest, after giving Parliament’s Ethics Board a mere 30 minutes notice he was writing for the Daily Mail…. and after getting paid huge sums (hundreds of thousands) for doing the same in The Telegraph without the requisite waiting period after office… sounds hauntingly close to our Presidential Gifts issues last term…
Cleese immediately Tweeted what he thinks of Johnson, but we thought we’d let Britain’s fine, ancient musical culture give its own opinion, in this fantastic 5-part fugue by Ben Comeau (note, the upper part is too high for choral singing so it’s a violin part, but the whole thing is excellent). It was written while Johnson was still in office, but perfect for his TV Debut now as well, and just in time for beating dead horses — headless horsemen — Happy Sleepy Hollows!
And here’s the through-written piano arrangement, quite a handful even if you’re a good sight-reader. An incredibly talented demonstration of the art of fugue in the 21st century. Bach would love it! So would Mozart, who wrote a 6-part Canon titled Leck Mich Im Arsch (Lick My Ass - no shit, see further below).
And here’s the Wolf, Gang. By the way, it takes incredible ability to write stuff like this that actually sounds good, 6 voices together telling you to tongue it in perfect invertible counterpoint. Bow your head in awe, and try to sing along with even 1 of these beautiful (not body) parts:
