Musings for Friday - Fani to Gym: FAFO [1]

I’ll let the lawyers cover things from their perspective as KeithDB and other lawyers on this site did in his well read post yesterday. Fani Willis Woodsheds Jim Jordan. I’m just going to speak as a layperson and my takeaway.
As GreyHawk’s image above infers from about two weeks ago, I think DA Fani Willis has thrown down a gauntlet. IMHO, DA Willis is sending a clear message to “Chairman” Gym that his continued interference may be construed as an ongoing part of the criminal conspiracy she has investigated and is prosecuting.
From her letter, this example:
Chairman Jordan, I tell people often “deal with reality or reality will deal with you.” It is time that you deal with some basic realities. A Special Purpose Grand Jury made up of everyday citizens investigated for 10 months and made recommendations to me. A further reality is that a grand jury of completely different Fulton County citizens found probable cause against the defendants named in the indictment for RICO violations and various other felonies. Face this reality, Chairman Jordan: the select group of defendants who you fret over in my jurisdiction are like every other defendant, entitled to no worse or better treatment than any other American citizen.
To me, as a layperson, this is a fair warning to back the fuck off! Or, you Gym Jordan, may face similar consequences. Again, IMHO, she has laid the groundwork telling Chairman Gym, he is acting outside of his authority as a member of Congress and can’t expect to hide behind Congressional Immunity.
In other words, Fuck Around & Find Out! FAFO.
