I have seen nothing about this latest shit show in/from Russia here.

“The country’s Ministry of Education this week unveiled new history textbooks with sections about what it calls the “special military operation” in Ukraine, the annexation of Crimea and Western sanctions. Critics say the move is a part of a sustained effort to indoctrinate school children and stifle any independent thinking.”

Bottom line. Russia is already re-writing history no matter the outcome.

But wait. This is often the path of evil throughout history. Even now. I lived in South Korea for nine years. Thus, I was exposed too much of what happens in the DPRK. Right there, an other lie. The R stands for Republic. No democracy in North Korea obviously. Any way, North Korean students are taught that the South and US started the 6/25 war. (AKA the Korean War in the rest of the world) They are also required to read The Diary of Anne Frank. Not for any sympathy, oh no. At least from what I heard, it is used to teach how not to act when the Americans come. Don’t be a wimp like Anne.

And more. I used to use excerpts from CSA text books. (AKA Confederate States of America.) I can not seem to find those now. Funny that. But here is an example.

Bottom line, the CSA/South used schools to groom/indoctrinate their kids into buying their bullshit. And then there is of course Nazi Germany. I have used math book examples where the problems were ALWAYS military related.

And so today “education” in Florida. And maybe more States to come if Moms for

‘Liberty” get their way…whatever that is. AP Psych and Shakespeare and more under attack. So congratulations Florida government. You are in this list for company. Russia may very well be fine with you. But certainly not North Korea and Nazi Germany. At least I hope not.
