1897. Then, president William McKinley appointed Frazier B Baker as postmaster, of Lake City SC. Black guy. Disrupted things there.

Who knows what the president was thinking, he was assassinated, so, who knows, but anyway, getting back to Frazier.

Them good ole boys from SC,they didn’t much like Mr Frazier B Baker. Too big for his britches, that boy. Teacher, thinks he can be a postmaster right?

They burnt their own post office to the ground.

And when that didn't work, they burnt it down again, and waited outside with guns ready, and executed Frazier as he tried to escape the flames. They shot at his family too. Waiting.

These people, Americans. Republicans, have a vision of how things are supposed to be. With people knowing their place. Kept in their place by the state.

This is what they vote for.

This is what MAGA means.

The thin blue line.

White, privileged patriarchy, social hierarchies, graduated inequality. Maintained by the state.

That bit about life and liberty, the pursuit….. nope. Curse words for these people. Republicans want a tilted playing field. Some people get access to happiness more than others. And to be a Republican means that this. this, is what matters to you.

It is folly to discuss Dobbs in any other context other than what role women should have in our collective civilization. Our social structure.

Amy Coney Barrett was chosen because she could be trusted to go along with what the white men in her life wanted. Harriet Miers was not trusted in the same way.

The choice, and what side of the line a person stands on is very obvious to a person like me.

If you choose to call yourself a Republican, in this day and age, I see you. I know.
