Leslie Rutledge gave up on her dream, and instead filed to run for Lieutenant Governor in November of 2021, won that race with 62% of the vote, and continues to wait for Huckabee-Sanders to win, then have a stroke so she can assume the job of governor in her stead. This was in spite of the fact that she granted an interview with John Stewart where he exposed her for being the transphobic fraud she is.So… regardless of if its Huckabee-Sanders or Rutledge, Arkansas seems locked in to having a homophobic, transphobic maniac in charge through 2026.
