I’m getting a little bit used to my car, I may end up keeping it for a bit. I’ve finally figured out the smart key at least. I’ve tried reading the user's manual, but boy, the diagrams are so small, and the writing is stiff, dull and often, wildly off point. I wish John Grisham or Stephen King would write a car manual.

And yes, I have met David Crosby. My ex-husband drove for him on a CSN tour. It was during Crosby’s crack period. It was a weird tour. Each member had their own bus. I never met Stephen Stills. Graham Nash, was very fun and funny, and David Crosby, just wasn’t really there.

Each night, he would be brought out to the bus by his handler and introduced to me and my ex. “David, this is Biff Trainer and his wife, Zen”. Every night. We were introduced every night. I tried doing that thing David Byrne advises, wearing the same clothes every day so people can easily recognize you. It didn’t work.

I’m not a CSN or CSNY fan at all. When I was on the road with a band, I was there to hang with my husband, not see a band. But there were some magical moments when I was killing time, wandering around an arena and the band would just click and stop me in my tracks.

I am unexpectedly working tonight and for sure won’t be home at 7:30, I am so sorry.
