Who thought auto-collapsing comments was a good idea? [1]

Seriously, only an engineer could love this system of auto-collapsing comments, but this is the worst interface design I’ve ever seen. Instead of being able to scroll through comments, liking what moves me and commenting that worthy of discussion, I’m forced to hit a serious of oranges ellipses to read through a thread. I HATE IT. IT SUCKS.

I don’t know if that is meant to reduce server load or make people spend more time on the site or what it was. It sucks. I want it to stop and return to the way it was last week.

It y’all want to improve the design, give us an Edit button (or an Edit button good for 30 minutes) so Abrmas doesn’t live into eternity.
