If Anyone Can, Today I Need Some Emergency Help [1]

I apologize, there are many in need. This might seem less important, but to me it is heartbreaking. While seriously ill and staying in my vehicle since last July, have been trying to save irreplaceable family history photos and similar things that went into storage in August 2020 during the hellish pandemic when my marriage ended after 32 years. For reasons unclear, to me anyway, it fell solely to me to discover and unwrap and move, if I could but frequently I could not as I was alone and physically unable to do so, the history of our families including multi-generational items, records, photos and movies, books (lots of books), bibles from great-grandparents, and many other irreplaceable family-history things. I have only partially succeeded, due to financial constraints and isolation, ill-health (heart disease darn it), and lack of help that could have avoided this situation, but that did not come. Sigh, I needed a family rescue effort, but it did not happen unfortunately.

To avoid auction tomorrow, I am trying to raise today (I must at this point pay cash by the end of this west coast business day) at least $1,800 to pay back rent to get additional time to get our things out of there somehow. So, I am publishing this appeal today. Some kossacks have been very kind and helped me with gas and some food money, and to them I say “Thank You”. This is why I tried to stay alive despite my constant anvil-like depression, focusing on being a father and partner/husband to my loved ones and preserving photos and century-old letters, etc, so they will be able to know where and who they came from, kept me alive and functioning for many months.
