Esteban Lazo chairs work meeting with Permanent Commission chairs

Headed by the deputies Esteban Lazo Hernández and Ana María Mari Machado, president and vice president of the Cuban parliament, respectively, a working meeting was held in the Baraguá Hall, of the Capitol of Havana, with the presidents of the Permanent Work Commissions (CPT ) of the National Assembly of Popular Power.
As published by the official website of the parliament, the head of the Cuban legislature informed the participants about the priorities in the work of the commissions for the year 2020 and in that sense stressed the importance of working more systematically and following up on the agreements made in the CPT during the last Regular Session.
Lazo Hernández insisted on the need to participate in the annual balance assemblies of each of the agencies that the commissions attend and to be more rigorous in the control and inspection visits that are made to the territories.
The function of the ANPP is constitutive, legislative and control, it is necessary to follow up on the laws and require the ministries to control their compliance, he said.
As a second item on the agenda, the implementation of the verification process of the Budget Law of the year 2020 and the agreements of the approved Opinion, by Félix Martínez Suárez, president of the Economic Affairs Committee, were analyzed.
In this sense, Martínez Suárez reported that a videoconference will be held soon with all the provinces to explain how the implementation and implementation of the Budget Law will be carried out, and in the case of national entities a seminar will be organized in the Ministry of Finance and Prices.
