Substitutions? : YES, MAP30 with MAP18,MAP20,MAP24
I used the appeal mechanism to trade MAP30 with two
levels from the hardest set and one from the hard!
I did this in order to make my exam more difficult
as i think that my assigned levels,excluding 29,
were a piece of cake....:)
So i traded 30 for 20,24 and 18.
System used : 486/66 , 12 Mb Ram , Sound Blaster 16
Controls used : Standard Keyboard Configuration
Free interpretation : MAP32 in which i only use the combat shotgun and
the chaingun to take out the cyberdemon....
No hiding behind walls here....:)
Comments : MAP21
This is my easy level and i couldn't agree more
with that...I just took it part by part and made
my day real easy...
: MAP29
This one is my hard level...It took me some tries
to complete as i hadn't tried this one before....
I think that it is more difficult than Map 20 or
Map 20 is easier than this one...I don't think though
that it should be put in the hardest category...
You just have to find a way and visit the right
place at the right time....:)
I didn't kill the cyberdemon in this one because i
don't think there is enough space to move as i did
in my free interpretetion map...
: MAP20
It only took me two tries to complete this map...
I don't know why this is ranked as hardest but
i think it belongs to hard or even medium levels!
Nothing much really...
: MAP24
Now this one really belongs to the hardest set...It
is huge and it takes a lot of time,effort and patience
to complete..The monsters are not really difficult but
the map should be studied carefully before attempting
to record for the exam file...I really think it takes
lots of guts to manage this map...
: MAP18
A fun level...Lots of monsters that love to kill each
other and i love to watch them...You just have to run
and wait for the monsters do the job for you...Then
there is this really fun part in this map in the ca-
tacombs with many sergeants...Really fun sneaking in
front of them and let them have a load of ammo...:)
: MAP32
I did this just for the cyberdemon...So what you
might say...So have others....My way is a bit more
different as i only use the combat shotgun and the
chaingun to take him out...Also i am always in front
of him and i don't wait for him behind walls...
The Cyberdemon usually fires rockets three by three
so i was careful to avoid them when he did...He only
got me once....But then...........:)
Author info : It took me a lot of time to complete my exam,because
i had some trouble with my original doom version...
Although it seemed to record lmps normally these
files could not be playbacked in any machine...I
noticed this also happened to a friend of mine...
Both of us had the original Doom from CD-ROM...
Thankfully i found a disk version and i was able to
record my lmps normally.....
I have been playing doom for a couple of years and
now i mostly play deathmatches with my friends...
Then one day i heard about the DHT exams and here
i am conquering the title of D2M.....
