Comments:
MAP02: Pretty easy but fun.  Dance in the first room after the start, 4:23.

MAP31: I find this level incredibly boring.  Just shows how much DOOM
has advanced since Wolfenstein.  Biggest challenge in this
level would be to complete it without looking at the automap (I
didn't succeed!).  Dance at start, 14:03.

MAP22: This level has a tough part right at the start, but after
that it's not much problem.  Took me several tries to get
through the "hellfire".  This isn't the cleanest run, especially
when I had to go back for the blue key!  Dance at the start, 7:37.

MAP26: The Abandoned Mines.  This level is harder than 6, 7, or 22, but is
a cakewalk compared to the recently completed 29 (check out Andreas'
incredible performance on that one, folks!).  There is plenty of
ammo and a decent amount of health, but almost no armor for the entire
first half.  The second half is easier but you can still die if you
don't practice it, especially the jump for the plasma gun.  This
level has 23 Cacodemons in it, (more than any other except Suburbs,
level 16) so you'd better be good at dodging their fire.

It is very important at the start of this level to have the right
weapon out at the right time; you will die in the time it takes to
switch weapons.  This level also is somewhat random in some areas.
In several attempts I was surprised by a Caco in tight quarters -
ending that attempt!  This explains why I act nervous in several
places where nothing happens.  At one point I get a whiff of an
impending Caco ambush and get the rocket launcher out, saving my skin!

The last half of this recording has some slow sections.
There are a lot of battles fought in long narrow hallways, and
the conservative approach is to let them come to you.  This can
be time consuming with Cacos, as they tend to drift away from you
when hurtin'.  Dance at the start, 24:15.

FREE:  I really wanted to add Tricks and Traps (MAP08) to the base as it
is one of my favorites.  However I think this is impossible as -fast
Demons can chew past the chain saw, and there doesn't seem to be enough
ammo around to kill them any other way.  So I did MAP07 Grand Master
style and used the extra ammo to finish MAP08 with 100% of
      everything also.

With vast reserves of ammo, MAP08 is fun, but actually not that
hard.  I just tried to move through it fast, with a lot of action.
The trickiest spot is probably the four pain elementals.  To make
it a little more sporting, I limit myself to the chain saw when
invulnerable.  Dance at the start, 5:13 and 10:14.

Note:  For those of you still looking for out-of-base levels, I'm fairly
certain 8 and 23 are impossible Grand Master style.  This still leaves
only 8 other out-of-base levels to be done, and some of them are
      getting pretty tough.

Author I started playing Doom in 10/95 during a 4 month sentence in a wrist
Info:  cast, and this is my first Doom Honorific Title!  The reason I went
for Grand Master first was that the title seemed to be filling up fast.
With Jesper Hansson (JEH) and Andreas Kren (AAK) recently
adding two levels to base each, extending the base is getting
tougher and tougher.  Now I'll have time to relax and work on my
      DOOM2 Master and SG titles!

I have never played this game with sound.  I hear it's even more fun!
