The master index (/mac/00help/index.txt) will never be more than a few hours
out of date.  Promise.

8/03/94:
  Created the directory /mac/system.extensions/controlstrip to hold
  control strip files.  Moved a few files out of /mac/util/powerbook and
  into this new directory.

5/18/94:
  Created the directory /mac/util/comm/hermes to hold the communication
  program Hermes II and it's associated files.  Moved the file
  /mac/comm/hermesii1.0.cpt.hqx to the /mac/util/comm/hermes directory.

4/28/94:
  Renamed the /mac/powerpc directory to /mac/powermac to more closely conform
  to Apple's terminology and to avoid user confusion when other systems
  PowerPCs are released.

4/20/94:
  Created the directory /mac/misc/update/vforvictory to hold all of
  the updates associated with the commercial game V For Victory.  This
  directory is set to be removed on 7/20/94 because of it's size so
  take what you need now!

3/22/94:
  Created the directory /mac/powerpc which will contain links of files
  that will run on the new Apple Power Macintosh models.

2/10/94:
  To keep up with the large amount of files in the /mac/util/comm directory
  two subdirectories were created.  /mac/util/comm/gopher will contain
  gopher clients and other gopher utilities and /mac/util/comm/usenet will
  contain files that let you access news servers.

5/25/93:
  Created the directory /mac/misc/molbio and moved into it 25 files related
  to DNA, RNA, proteins, enzymes, and related stuff (mainly from
  /mac/misc/biology)

5/24/93:
  Renamed the directory /mac/util/encryption to /mac/util/security.  Moved 15
  files related to passwords, file obliteration, and related issues to this
  directory.
  Moved several utilities related to notetaking and to text format conversion
  form other /mac/util/* directories to /mac/util/text.

5/13/93:
  Renamed the directory /mac/util/editor to /mac/util/text to better
  reflect its contents.  Moved 10 text-related files from other /mac/util
  directories into /mac/util/text.
