also known as Heavyweight Champ in Europe. Rehashed from James Buster Douglas
Knockout Boxing but slightly different. Also available for the Sega Game Gear.

INTRODUCTION
o---------------------o
This game is a rehash of James Buster Douglas Knockout Boxing and is available
on both the Sega Master System and Sega Game Gear. There are notable differences
in the game such as fighting four opponents instead of five. The dialouge that
takes place in between rounds have been removed and you will see a special win
screen for defeating your opponent.
It's up to you to guide Big George through all four fights and capture the World
Heavyweight Title. I know Marvis Frazier left the ring after being manhandled by
Mike Tyson but it would have been fun if he fought George then the latter would
have had the pleasure of beating both father and son.

STORY
o---------------------o
Big George Foreman was a force to be reckoned with back in the 70s. He tore past
any man who stepped in front of him to face him. The only two to survive his big
onslaught during this time were Muhammad Ali and Jimmy Young. Ron Lyle did have
him on the ropes but George pulled through. After losing to Jimmy Young, George
left the ring and stayed retired for 10 years. He came back in 1987 and went on
a rampage again bigger, better, balder than before. Ti ji ji~!! ^v^

GAMEPLAY
o---------------------o
You start off by choosing which speed you want to play the game. You then choose
if you want to play a 1 or 2 player game. You will fight against four opponents
who get tougher each fight you progress.
Your character George Foreman starts out with 1 bar each and must defeat his foe
to earn more to add to his stats. P stands for Attack Power (meaning that you'll
hit harder if you connect). R is for Resilience/Recovery (meaning that you'll
regain more stamina between rounds or after getting up from a knockdown). F is
for Speed though the letter may stand for Feet (meaning your fighter will move
faster).
Getting 3 knockdowns in the same round will result in a TKO. You can also get a
TKO victory or defeat if you or the opponent is out of stamina when knocked down
thus the ref won't even bother counting. In fact, if either fighter gets knocked
down a certain number of times. They will stay down for the 10-count. Don't even
bother mashing the buttons as getting up is done automatically.
A super punch is down by holding 1 and 2 then releasing it when close to launch
a haymaker that knocks the opponent across the ring and in some cases is a good
use for distancing yourself away from an opponent trying to corner you. Missing
the punch will cause you to lose energy.
After 12 rounds of boxing, if there is no winner by this time, the match will go
to the scorecards. The fighter with the most points is the winner or else it's a
draw. Should you lose a match, you can get a rematch but losing that rematch and
it's game over.
