I. Introduction
===============================================================================
In 1994, the much awaited sequel to the popular Sega CD RPG Lunar: The Silver
Star, was released. Lunar: Eternal Blue was set to take place a thousand
years after The Silver Star. At this time, Dragon Masters were now nothing but
Legends, and the Magic Guild of Vane has lost a lot of its luster.
Lunar: Eternal Blue offered a lot more than its prequel. The cut scenes were
more animated, the cut scenes better used, and voice acting done more often.
The battle system remained similar with a few tweaks. Even the music was done
without making music tracks so that it can loop without being repetitive.

II. Characters
===============================================================================
Here is a list of the playable characters in the game in the order you meet
them. Also includes lists of magic and what type they are. Keep in mind that
higher level type magic replaces lower level-type (for instance, Boomerang is
replaced by Multi-Boomerang and so on.
NOTE: Each character has 4 special skills that they learn as they level. They
will learn these as long as they level up. Other Magic has to be leveled up
through Special Points that are gained through battle. Also, if a spell has
a * beside of it, it means that that is the recommended level that I suggest
you end with on that type of magic. Below here is also a list of how much
Magic Exp a spell class needs to level up.
1. 0 2. 15 3. 26 4. 61 5. 133
6. 266 7. 494 8. 853 9. 1383 10. 2115

not what it used to be back in the glory days before Ghaleon demolished it.

III. Walkthrough
===============================================================================
A little note before the game that you can save your game anywhere you want to
as long as you have enough Magic Exp. For every level Hiro is at, it will take
15 M. Exp to save his game. Keep that in mind. Also, this walkthrough is
VERY detailed and contains MANY spoilers. You have been warned.
Upon starting a new game, you will be taken through an opening cutscene which
shows a mysterious girl from the Blue Star being awaken by a nightmare. After
the opening credits, you'll be taken to another cutscene where our hero, Hiro,
and his friend, Ruby, try to take the Right Eye Jewel. This springs a trap
and Hiro and Ruby are chased out of the ruins by huge flames as Hiro does a
voice-over and explains the story.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
a. The Destroyer is Sent
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Dragon Ruins-
As you finally take control, go down from the exit to the cave that the
cutscene just showed. You will soon see a huge ship that moves without any
help of wind. On it is White Knight Leo. He tells Hiro and Ruby to go home as
a destroyer has been sent to destroy Lunar. After Leo gets done talking, exit
to the bottom of the screen.
-Salyan Desert-
Monsters: Sand Shark
Once you're in the overworld, head east along the ocean. Follow the coast and
you should see a small hut and the Dragonship Destiny (Leo's ship) parked
outside of it. I recommend fighting around here. Inside the hut is a Statue
of Althena. Check it to heal it. I usually fight around until Hiro is at Level
3. Also, a big note. Do NOT try to level up Hiro's Wind Magic. Save your M.Exp
for later heroes. Hiro will fight fine with his sword skills, like Poe Sword.
When you're set, enter the hut.
-Hiro's House-
Treasures: Ancient Knife, Left Eye Jewel.
Enter inside and you'll see a scene with an argument between Leo and Grandpa
Gwyn. Leo asks about the Blue Spire and how to get into it so that he can
get rid of the Destroyer as Althena has instructed him to do. Once you have
control, talk to Gwyn, then talk to Leo. Leo will then leave Hiro with an
offer then exit the house.
Gwyn smells that something is up. He goes to the roof to observe what is
happening. Follow him and watch what happens to the Blue Spire in the distance.
Hiro says he is going to warn Leo. Gwyn tells Hiro to get his weapons from
the basement. Go to the basement and grab the Ancient Knife from the treasure
chest. Equip it on Hiro and go back upstairs. Talk to Gwyn and he will give you
the Left Eye Jewel and will join the party.
Heal at the Statue and exit.
-Salyan Desert-
Monsters: Sand Shark, Sand Cyclops
From Hiro's house, walk southeast along the canyon walls and across the bridge.
Once you get across the bridge, go north along the coast. When the coast cuts
off west, keep going north. Go in-between the canyon (don't go up the ramp),
and follow until you see the Blue Spire. Enter.
-Blue Spire-
Monsters, Slime, Bandage Boy, Mummy, Brainpicker, Crystal Knight, GUARDIAN
Treasures: 393 S., Herb x3
Walk to the dragon head that blocks the entrance to the Blue Spire. Gwyn will
put the Left Eye Jewel into the eye socket, but nothing will happen. Go to the
left side of the head and check it out. Hiro will place the Right Eye Jewel
into the socket and the door to the Spire will open. Enter the Blue Spire
entrance.
Walk up and take the first right you come to. There should be two paths going
down. Take the 2nd one for 56 Silver, and the 1st one to continue. Follow the
path given straight (past the crossing) until you find a button. Press it.
Go back to the crossing and go left. Press that button and then back to the
crossing. Go right this time and then up. When you reach the next area that
branches off up and left, go left. Grab the Herb in the chest to the left and
continue up and around so that you're on the right side. When you reach the
crossing, press the buttons to the right and lower areas, then go through the
door to the left. Go up to the next area.
This next area splits off 4 ways. Northwest, Northeast, Southwest, and
Southeast. In each direction are 4 rooms, each with an orb. Check out each of
the 4 orbs to create a path up the middle of the room for you to continue in.
Go up the middle to the next room. Look at the huge statue if you want, but
go up the stairs.
Go up and heal at the fountain in the middle. Continue up to enter the actual
Spire itself.
Now this part is going to be a bit harder. Keep your HP up here, as the
Crystal Knights can kill you quick. If you see one, don't be afraid to use
Poe Sword to destroy it quickly. From the entrance to the Blue Spire, go up
and take the stairway to the right. On the 2nd floor are two stairways to the
upper floor. Take either. On the 3rd floor, take the upper-left stairway to
receive an Herb, then take the stairway in the middle. On the 4th floor, take
either stairway at the bottom. On the 5th floor are two chests in the upper
corners, one containing an Herb, and one containing 337 S. Take the stairs up
the middle.
Wind your way to the middle of this floor and take the stairs. When you reach
the 7th floor, search the Orb in the middle of the room. You will be warped
to another room. Go straight up to see the "Destroyer" appear. She says her
name is Lucia and needs to see Althena, and that the world is in danger
(although I don't think Hiro caught any of it). Lucia will warp you back to
the 7th floor and join the party.
Take it from me. Save now and just fight around for a while. Lucia's powerful
magic will destroy anything that appears, so now is a good time to use it
while you can. It will probably take a little longer now as Lucia will take
up EXP now as well. Level up to at least Level 6 before exiting the Blue
Spire. To make things easier, have Gwyn run away, though chances are Lucia
will kill all the monsters before he does, having Gwyn run can still help
things move a bit faster.
Anyways, after leveling up, head out of the Spire. Heal at the fountain and
continue downward. Everyone will stop and Gwyn will talk about how Lucia seems
too strong. Talk to Gwyn again and then Zophar will show up and weaken Lucia
so that she only has 1 HP and all her magic depleted. That can't be good.
Anyways, save and go down.
When you arrive in the next room, you will see that the statue has come to
life and you will be forced to fight it.
Boss: HP EXP Silver M. EXP
Guardian 250 500 600 200
This battle is real easy. 4 Rounds is all you need. Lucia will defend and
run throughout the battle. If she dies don't worry, just more exp for Hiro.
Have Hiro use Poe Sword. 4 shots of it will destroy it. Gwyn should defend
and heal Hiro with Heal Litany. Offenser is the hardest attack he has, but
Gwyn can heal up quickly enough. Just keep using Poe Sword and you'll be
victorious.
Make your way to the exit of the Blue Spire. Once you exit there will be 3
Guardians waiting for you, and you'll be forced to fight again. Don't worry
about this fight. Just stay alive for 3 rounds and then all 3 Guardians will
be destroyed by the Cannon from the Dragonship Destiny. Leo arrives to enter
the Blue Spire to rid of the Destroyer. As you leave, Leo will ask who the
girl is. Ruby says that it is sick because of the monster inside the tower and
lies her way to make Leo and his crew enter the Spire so they can escape.
Head back to Hiro's House.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
b. Search for the Healer
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Hiro's House-
Enter the house an Lucia will go lay down as Gwyn goes to look for a cure to
her illness. Talk to Lucia and she will say talk about Zophar and why she is
here. Talk to her again and Gwyn will come and say that he cannot cure this
curse. He will then say that there is a priest by the name of Ronfar who might
be able to help her who is in the town of Larpa. He says his boat is prepared
and for Hiro to meet him outside. Walk out and you'll be taken to the boat
which takes you to the other side of the sea.
-Salyan Desert-
Monsters: Sand Shark, Death Worm
Larpa isn't too hard to find. From the docks, head west to the edge of the
canyon then follow it southwest until you reach the town of Larpa.
-Larpa-
There is a shop here upon entering. I recommend buying Hiro a Short Sword. If
you feel you need the slim boost of defense, buy a Leather Armor. Though I
think you can do without it right now.
Once you have that, head to the Tavern and talk to the guy near the barrels on
the right. He'll tell you that he doesn't know anything about Ronfar. Exit the
tavern and visit Ronfar's house on the left side of town. People will be there
lining up to ask Ronfar to heal them, but he's not home. Check the door and
there will be a note from an "LM" that didn't get to see him but will check
back later. Talk to the guys by the house and one of them will say that he's
at the bar. Go back to the bar and talk to the guy near the barrels again.
He'll agree to tell you about Ronfar if you can beat him at a game of dice.
Agree and choose odd or even. It doesn't matter what you choose, as the dice
are rigged. Refuse to play again and then talk to him again. Lucia will
collapse. The gambler (who is really Ronfar) then offers his home to help out.
Head back to Ronfar's house and talk to him in front of the door. Follow
him into the house. Talk to him twice and then Leo will show up, calling for
Ronfar. Leo claims that Hiro tricked him to help the Destroyer and that he is
looking for him. Leo asks Ronfar to let him know if he hears anything. Ronfar
"agrees" to let him know. After Leo leaves, talk to Ronfar again and he will
tell you how he knows Leo ("LM"). He then asks you to play dice again. If you
win, he'll help Lucia. This time, no matter what you pick, you'll win. He'll
tell you to take the back route to the Sanctuary to use the statue. Talk to
Lucia and then to Ronfar again.
If you still have the Dagger, give it to Ronfar for now. Exit through the
back and enter the cave.
-Larpa Secret Pass-
Monsters: Escargotgo, Cave Rat
Treasures: Star Light
There isn't much here, but the Cave Rats are worth a hunk of EXP and M. EXP
if you're looking for some, though they hit hard. Ronfar can heal so keep
that in mind. You really can't get too lost going though this all. After you
exit the cave for the first time, go down to the chest with a Star Light.
Enter the next cave and go through it.
-Larpa-
Once you exit the pass for the 2nd time, you'll end up behind the Sanctuary.
Enter it through the door on the left side. Enter the main part of the
Sanctuary and Ronfar will do a small ritual to try to heal Lucia. He fails and
recalls a memory of him trying to save his girlfriend Mauri from a similar
fate. He says he won't let it happen again, then tries again and succeeds in
healing Lucia. Though Lucia won't be nearly as powerful at this point, she'll
be able to use Magic again and fight with you. Head back to Ronfar's house.
Everybody will go to sleep and when you wake up, Lucia will be missing. Talk
around town if you want, but you'll have to go to the Mayor's house on the
north end of town, talk to him, and pay him the 500 Silver in order to find
out where Lucia is. Once you've done that, go to the docks at the lower end
of town and she'll be there waiting.
Talk to Lucia and she will then leave for Dalton, thanking Hiro, Ronfar, and
Gwyn for the help. Try to leave and Ronfar will show up and say that the
Destiny is parked just outside Dalton and that Lucia is walking into Leo's
trap. Ronfar then offers to join up for good this time.
If you want to, fight a little bit in the Pass to gain a level or so. Build up
enough M. EXP to level up Ronfar's Health magic just once. This will allow
him to learn Calm Litany, which will be very important right now. Also, by
now you've probably noticed how slow Hiro levels up. He'll have nearly 2x the
EXP Ronfar does and still be a level behind him. This will remedy eventually
in the game, but in the meantime it makes Hiro weaker than the rest of the
characters. Before I leave for Dalton I usually level up Ronfar to 9.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
c. Into the Darkness
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Salyan Desert-
From Larpa go west and then follow northwest along the canyon walls that border
the water. Just follow along for a while northwest until you reach the town
of Dalton.
-Dalton-
Treasures: Angel Ring
Once you arrive, you will find that Lucia has been taken prisoner by Leo
onboard the Destiny. Once you have control again, go to the Shop and buy Ronfar
a Mace. Also now an armor upgrade would be good. Buy both Hiro a Scale Armor
and sell what you don't need.
Talk around town and in the bar. You will learn that Leo plans on executing
Lucia, but nobody believes that she could be a Destroyer. In order to get
onto the Destiny, you have to enter the Sanctuary at the bottom and exit to
the side on the 2nd floor. Before doing that though, go to the 3rd floor and
exit to the outside through the room there. This will lead you to an Angel
Ring. Give it to Hiro for a slight boost in Defense and to automatically
revive him if he dies. Anyways, from the 2nd floor, just go right until you
enter the Dragonship Destiny.
-Dragonship Destiny-
Monsters: Guard
Enter the upper cabin and heal at Althena's Statue. Go left to continue. The
Destiny is full of Guards, but the encounters are not random. The Guards
aren't too hard and give a ton of EXP for now. Just use Poe Sword and have
Ronfar finish it off. If their shields are up they will block any normal
attack (though Poe Sword will still work). Make your way to the lower level
of the Destiny (pretty straightforward). There are 8 Guards on your way to
the prison where Lucia is being held (so both Hiro and Ronfar should easily
level up).
Once at the lowest level, you will see Lucia being interrogated by Leo. As he
leaves, his guards question his choice as Leo says that he hopes Althena is
right about this decision to make him execute her. Once they are gone, press
the button to the left side of Lucia's cell to release her. Talk to her again
and Hiro will offer his assistance to Lucia. Ronfar will hear somebody coming
and says to hide. Hide in the corner to the left and Leo will show up again
and in a rage, check out the empty cell. Press the button again to raise the
force field to trap Leo inside the cell. As you leave, Ronfar says a few words
to Leo and then says to go north to the Illusion Woods in order to get to
Pentagulia (where Lucia needs to go).
Exit the Destiny (making sure to use the Statue on the way out), and get out
of Dalton.
-Salyan Desert-
Monsters: Scorpion, Death Worm
From Dalton, head north a bit then east. Follow the edge of the canyon east
as far as you can go then go north. You should see a grove of trees. Head west
and up the ramp into the Illusion Woods.
-Illusion Woods-
Monsters: Albino Baboon, Goblin, Hummingbyrd, Goblin King, PLANTELLA
Treasures: 1571 S., Star Light, Herb x5, Scale Armor, Purity Herb, Long Sword,
Spring Water, Iron Armor
Upon entering, go right and heal at the Statue. Talk to the guy who is mad
at Ronfar for something and wants to win his money back. He says that if
Ronfar wins he'll tell him how to get through the Illusion Woods. Ronfar uses
his loaded dice and win, so the guy opens the path to the Illusion Woods. Go
left a bit and you'll see a tree that opens and closes. Enter it and you'll
disappear. Leo will then come around and try to find them in the woods, but
cannot find a trace, so they go back to the Destiny.
Keep in mind that this is an excellent place to level up. Goblins can call
for more Goblins to join the fight, so this will really up how much Exp you
can get.
When you have control again, go up and grab the 99 Silver from the chest, then
exit out the other end. Go right and open the chest for a Star Light. Take
either tree this time, as they will both lead to the same fork. At this
fork, go down. Grab the Herb in the chest and continue to the stairs going
back to the surface. Once there, go right to the chest containing 13 Silver
near the tree. From the chest go up to the tree at the upper end of this
section and enter it. This area goes around in a circle but it has a Scale
Armor in the chest. Give it to Ronfar and go back outside. Walk to the chest
you opened previously and enter the tree beside of it.
Continue left and grab the Herb from the chest. Continue back out to the
surface. Go left and grab the 439 S. from the chest, and then left and up for
a Purity Herb. Take either tree, as it leads to the same fork. At the fork,
go to the far left (the area with the chest. Take the 353 Silver
from the chest. Follow the far left path to the stairs.
Go right and grab the 281 Silver from the chest. Again, take either tree and
continue to the fork. Go right at the fork and grab the 148 Silver in the
chest. Go right at the next fork (though both will take you to the same area,
going right will get you outside quicker) and take the stairs to the outside.
Go up and grab the Herb in the chest. Enter the nearby tree and go through it
to go back to the surface, which takes you to a clearing. Go up a bit and
you'll see a Dancer performing a very skillful dance. She kindly introduces
herself as Jean. Talk to Jean again and she'll invite you to stay with the
Troupe (along with a few smart remarks from Ronfar). Heal at the Statue and
talk to the guy by the tree in the upper-right corner. Before you know it,
some of the people are dragged under the ground by some vines. Talk to Jean
again and she will join you in order to help find her friends. Jean is a very
tough fighter, even with a dancing fan. Her level is currently low, but her
HP will be up as high or even higher than Ronfar's. Enter the tree in the
upper-right side.
As you enter, there is a hole you cannot cross. Jean will get a piece of wood
and place it across the gap. Save and continue across and follow back outside.
From here, go left and up to the tree. Inside is a chest with a Long Sword.
Give it to Hiro. Go back out and go down and right to the chest with an Herb
in it. Go into the nearby tree. Go right all past the fork to get a Spring
Water, then go back and down the fork to another clearing. Go up through the
trees to reach a chest with 238 Silver. Go back to the tree you just came
from. Take a right at the fork and follow to the end.
At this clearing, go right and take the nearest tree. Follow to get an Iron
Armor, which should be given to Hiro. Exit back out. Go to the tree on the
upper-left side of this area and enter it. Grab the Herb on the way and Save.
Heal up and go up. Keep going and you'll eventually enter a fight.
Boss: HP EXP Silver M. EXP
Plantella 1500 4500 1740 1200
This battle is extremely easy if you know how to handle it. Always have Hiro
use Poe Sword and Jean use either Butterfly Dance or Needle Step. Ronfar should
defend at first then just stay back and heal. Lucia will provide some help in
this battle once in a while with Thunder Blow. Shouldn't be too much of a
problem. Once you deal 500 HP damage, Plantella will open up and reveal it's
more powerful form. Just stay back and continue to lay waste with Poe Sword
and it should soon die easily.
After you win, grab the Herb from the chest and go up the stairs. Just follow
the path provided to end up at the Caravan. Jean will tell the Troupe Leader,
Giban, that she will have to leave the Troupe for a while to face her demons,
so she sticks with Hiro and the group. Heal at the statue and exit through
the upper-left side of the area.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
c. Crossing the Gate
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Madoria Plains-
Monsters: Albino Baboon, Flytrapper, Dung Beetle
Madoria Plains is quite a dangerous place to be around, but luckily just by
going north you can easily reach the town of Takkar (which is on the left side
not the right side, as that's the Ghost Manor). Before entering here though
(go in only if you need healing), go east from the town and follow up the
ramps going north until you find a small cave.
-Secret Room #2-
Treasures: Fresh Ring, 2006 S., Star Light, Dover Nut
There are 5 chests here. Make sure you grab them. Give Ronfar the Fresh
Ring to prevent him from sleeping, freezing, or being poisoned. Exit.
-Madoria Plains-
Now go ahead back and enter Takkar.
-Takkar-
Heal at the Statue and buy Ronfar a Bow at the weapon shop. If you check out
the gate at the north end of town, you'll learn you can't get by until the
monster situation is over. Go to the tavern and talk to the lady in the hood.
She'll invite you to join the Magic Guild but Ronfar will say they have to
get moving. Leave and talk to the gate-keeper. He'll say that he's sent for
Lord Leo to take care of the monster problem. Just then, the Hooded-girl comes
by again. She says that if you can get by the Haunted Mansion, you can reach
a secret pass that will take you to Nota. Ruby doesn't like the idea, but exit
Takkar and go a very short way east to the Ghost House.
-Ghost House-
Monsters: Hooded Imp, Susie Death, Knuckle Buster, MAGIC TESTER LX1
Talk to the Hooded-girl again and she will open the door to the house. Save
and enter. Enter the door on the first floor to the left. When it opens, it
says "Wind shriek sharply to pass my test."
Once in this room, go left and down to the next door. You will then be in a
fight with some Hooded Imps. Remember what the door said? Wind! Have Hiro
use Boomerang to remove their hoods so that Ronfar and Jean can finish them
off. The path is pretty straightforward and repetitive. You have to make your
way to the other door that leads back to the main hall. It isn't that hard,
though you could probably get lost if you forget that there is a large room
in the middle. Once you return to the main hall through the door to the right
of the steps, return to Takkar to heal.
The 2nd floor is similar, but the door mentions something about closing the
shutters. You have to do the same thing here, but this time you have to put
the monster to sleep before you can attack it. Have Ronfar use Herbal Breeze
on the Susie Deaths then finish the monster off with Hiro's Poe Sword. Jean
should just stay out of the way since she will probably try to attack before
Ronfar pulls off Herbal Breeze. Finish off this floor as well and then make
your way back to Takkar to heal again.
Head back and now go to the door on the 3rd floor. This door talks about the
Dancer. In each room you will fight Knuckle Busters. To make it through this
floor, use Butterfly dance on one of them, and any adjacent monsters will
come to life as well (if you have been leveling up and have had enough to
give Jean Charm Dance, then that will work as well). After you use Butterfly
or Charm Dance, have Hiro and Ronfar attack them. After a few fights, you'll
find some stairs. Take them. Make your way to the center room.
Boss: HP EXP Silver M. EXP
Magic Tester LX1 1400 4100 522 1280
This can be a tricky battle if you don't hit him hard right off the bat. When
he has his drum out, he can attack and Daze one of your allies. Hit him hard
from the start with Poe Sword and Needle Step while Ronfar stands by for
healing. Lucia might help out once in a while. Once the Magic Tester has taken
700 HP damage, he will lose the drum and his arms. Just continue until he takes
1000 HP damage, then he'll lose his legs (yet still manage to fight). 1400 HP
kills him.
After destroying it, the Hooded-woman appears and is upset that you destroyed
it, but is happy that you passed the Magic Guild test. She reveals herself
as Lemina Ausa (gotta love the *blink blink* reaction from Hiro and Ronfar).
She asks again if you'll join the Magic Guild of Vane, though Ruby says that
they have to finish their quest first. Lemina offers to join to speed up the
quest so that they can then join the guild. After she joins, go up past the
LX1 and follow until you reach the outside. Heal at the Statue and exit
through the top.
-Bandit Butte-
Monsters: Wyburn, Banshee Fowl, Grog Snake, PHANTOM SENTRY
Treasures: Purity Herb, Flared Dress, Herb x3, 948 S., Star Light
There really isn't much to Bandit Butte. It's very straightforward. Just make
sure to pick up the Purity Herb. Enter the cave nearby. If you go left you can
go under the path which leads to a cave with a Flared Dress and two Herbs.
Make your way back and this time take a right. Follow to the summit. At the
top is another Herb. Keep going left at the summit and you'll be forced to
fight the Phantom Sentry.
Boss: HP EXP Silver M. EXP
Phantom Sentry 1250 10245 2448 4096
At the opening turn, Phantom Sentry will shoot 4 of your allies, freezing them
as well. If one of them is wearing the Fresh Ring you found you won't have to
worry. He isn't too hard to fight, but when his sword is out, he can attack
twice that turn. Just have Hiro use Poe Sword, Ronfar heal or attack with his
Bow, Jean use Needle Step, and Lemina use Flame. Lucia of course will aid once
in a while. After you deal so much damage to him, he will run away.
After defeating him, Lucia will talk to the Sentry, who says it was not time
for Lucia's return to Lunar, and that it is his duty to protect the gateway.
Continue on left to the cave. Grab the 657 Silver on the way. Continue through
the path given until you are back outside. Take the 291 Silver from the
nearby chest and continue. One more chest with a Star Light can be found on
the way to the bottom.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
d. I'm Back, and better than ever!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Madoria Plains-
From Bandit Butte's exit, the path splits 2 ways. Going south will take you
back to Takkar (which is still blocked off). Go north from the exit. Just
follow the path until you get near a lake. From there go west, then down the
ramps, then west again until you reach the town of Nota.
-East Nota-
Treasures: Star Light
Upon entering, use the Statue. From the Statue if you enter the house to the
left, you can get a Star Light. Now it's time to upgrade your equipment. Buy
Hiro a Great Sword, Steel Armor, Chain Helm, and Wood Shield. Buy Jean an Iron
Fan as well. After you have it, go to the top of Nota and cross the bridge on
the left side. When you're on it, the Destiny will appear with Leo on it.
Guards will then show up and you'll be forced to run back to East Nota. As
you exit the bridge-house, Jean suggests running to the Carnival and using the
Magic Arrow to get past Leo. Exit town.
-Madoria Plains-
The Carnival is easy to find. Just head north from Nota, up the ramps, and
at the top, go east and you'll easily find it.
-Carnival-
The Carnival is a neat little place to visit. There is a Dice booth in which
you can double your money fast. The trick I find is to play the streak. If
it rolls "Thighs" (or odd) once, it will usually roll Thighs for a while.
Play this if you need a little extra money. At the upper end of the Carnival
(by the Magic Arrow) is a merchant who sells a Ritual Dagger. Buy one for
Ronfar (and give the Bow to Lemina, but do NOT sell her Water Staff). Talk
to Giban. Jean asks if they can use the Magic Arrow, but then Leo shows up.
Giban talks to him and says that he has never seen anyone matching Leo's
description. After Leo leaves, Giban suggests that Lucia find some clothes
that doesn't make her stand out. Watch the hilarious scene and you'll see
that Lucia now has new clothes.
Talk to Giban again and then talk to the guy by the Magic Arrow. Just as you
get ready for it, Leo will show up again. Just as everybody gets into the
Magic Arrow, Leo casts a spell on it to send it in the opposite direction.
-Mystic Ruins-
Monsters: Mummy Lord, Working Stiff, Persona, Cave Rat, Neutronitor
Treasures: Herb x2, 6773 S., Iron Scimitar, Chain Helm, Iron Shield,
Star Light, Bow
Once you land, nobody will know where you are. Go left from where you land
and Lucia will say that she senses ancient magic in there. She opens up the
portal to the inside of the Mystic Ruins. As you enter, check out the machine
in the center. It will show scenes from the first Lunar, about the Grindery
shooting down Vane and how the Magic Emperor used Althena to do so Just after
you view it, footsteps will be heard, and Ghaleon will show up. Ghaleon says
that it's not time to fight yet, but soon the world will be his again (gotta
love his words though; "If there is a God of Destiny he must really enjoy plot
twists."). Go up through the door.
Go down and take the chest to the left for an Herb, then go back right. Follow
down and around until you come to a door. To the left of the door is a chest
with an Herb in it. Inside the door is a Statue of Althena. Save HERE and
heal. The Mystic Ruins are very tough to go through especially at low
levels. From the door go down all the way and take a right to the elevator.
From where you end up, go right and take the path up before the stairs. Grab
the chest on the first right to get 2006 Silver, then go back left and
continue up. Walk up to the mirror and you'll be warped left. Go down and
grab the 2006 Silver in this chest. Go down and take the stairs to the left,
continuing down. At the bottom and take a right all the way to the elevator.
Walk up to the door. This will take you to the Mirror Maze. Blue Mirrors you
can go through while Red Mirrors are blocked off. Take the first blue one.
Open the chest for 941 S. Take the mirror to the right. Grab the Iron Scimitar
for Hiro in the chest and take the right mirror again. Grab the Chain Helm
in the chest (give it to Ronfar). Go through the right mirror. Take the Iron
Shield from the chest and give it to Hiro. Take the left mirror this time. Go
down and take a right. Follow all the way to the top and take the left-most
mirror. Go down and right and take the mirror at the top. Go left and walk
up under the bridge to the door.
From this door, go down and take the platform to the left. Go left and up all
the way to the chest with 1820 Silver. Go right and take the platform up.
Follow up and right to the next platform. Go down to the bottom and take the
platform on the right. Go up and then right, taking that platform. Take the
next platform and move left to the next platform (this will take you to the
area before the door you came from). Go up and left and take that platform
now. Grab the Star Light and the Bow from the chests. Now take the platform
to the left and follow to the door.
Now you will be in the New Secret Garden. If you've played the first Lunar,
you may remember a Garden in the Grindery that held fairies who absolutely
LOVED Ghaleon. Well, this new Garden is no different. If you talk to them,
they'll tell you what happened after his battle with Dragonmaster Alex (it
seems that he did survive the battle, but became depressed afterwards). Some
even say that he feels guilty about his past self and wishes to make things
right once again. Go down and Lucia will open the door that leads back
outside.
-Madoria Plains-
Head southwest around the mountain and then back north. When you get close to
Nota, Ruby will spot the Dragonship Destiny which starts to fire at the party.
Everybody agrees to fight, but then Lightning starts to strike the Destiny.
Leo says that Althena is protecting them, and then gets struck by a bolt
himself. Ghaleon is then seen behind them, shooting the lightning at them, and
then disappears. Nobody knows why Ghaleon helped them, but the Destiny runs
away since Leo has been injured. Head north to Nota.
-Nota-
Heal at the Statue. Now go ahead and take the bridge to the western side of
Nota. Go to the Armor Shop. Buy Ronfar a Shell Armor, an Aura Dress for Lemina
and Jean, and a Headband for Lemina and Jean. Head to the Tavern and talk to
the guy on the far left side. He'll ask you to give the Special Wine to a
tradesman in the East side of town. Go to East Nota and to the house to the
left of the Statue at the bottom. Talk to the man and he'll trade you the Wine
for the Receipt. Take it back to the guy in the Tavern for 10 Silver. If you
are ever really strapped for cash, you can do this for ever and keep getting
10 Silver... though fighting is better (this is just sometimes funny to see
the reactions from Ruby and Lemina). Go down the stairs then right and up to
exit Nota. As you leave, Ronfar will suggest you go to Azado, which can take
them to Pentagulia.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
e. The Ape and the Dojo
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Katarina Zone-
Monsters: Fatal Hopper, Killer Wasp
The path given is pretty straightforward. Just start going northwest and then
follow east and north again. This will take you to the town of Zulan.
-Zulan-
Talk to the man at the entrance to town. Though it's not important, this man
is Ronfar's father. Anyways, buy a Flail for Ronfar and a Glass Fan for Jean
at the Weapon shop, and buy Hiro a Plate Mail and buy Ronfar, Jean, and Lemina
an Iron Bracelet. Re-equip Lemina's Water Staff and sell any other equipment
(but keep the Bow if you want). Head to the Mayor's House by the Item Shop.
Talk to him and he'll ask you to help out with the little icy situation they
have going on. He asks you to kill the monster that's making Zulan a huge
icicle. Just agree to do it (you can't advance unless you do). Lucia, unhappy
with the decision, decides to go onto Pentaguila by herself. Save, heal,
buy a Dragonfly Wing, and head up to the cave.
-Snow Cave-
Monsters: Gelatin, Barbarian, Razor Wolf, MISSING LINK
Treasures: Herb, Steel Shield, 2030 S., 702 S., Dover Nut, Fire Ring,
Star Light, Flame Saber, Iron Bracelet
Now that Lucia is gone, this is an excellent time to do a little bit of
leveling up. I recommend getting Hiro up to at least Level 16 while here.
Also, if you can, get Lemina's Flame up to 14 (though it isn't required right
now, Flame Shot will really help here, as will Power Flame).
Make your way up to the cave. It shouldn't be too hard to get there, just
go up the stairs to get to it. Open the chest with the Herb inside. There
will be many ice slides in the cave, which you can NOT go up. From the chest,
go right. Take either stairway (the 1st or second) that you come to, then
go up the stairway on the far right. Go up another stairway and take the
door. Go left, down the stairs, and right to the next cave. Go left under the
slides and grab the Steel Shield for Hiro, then go to the next door. Head
left, down, and right a ways to the next door leading back in. Grab the chest
with 2030 Silver. Go left past the slide and then up the stairs a bit. Grab
the chest with 702 S. and go down the slide to the bottom. Head right to the
stairs and follow them all the way to the top. Take the slide on the left
and grab the Dover Nut at the bottom of the slide. Go up the stairs and
take the Fire Ring from the chest. Equip it on Hiro. Go all the way to the
left and down the stairs. Take the Star Light and enter the door. Push the
snowball and it will go all the way to the bottom and will plug the gap so
that you can cross over.
Go back inside the cave and up the stairs. Go right and take the first slide
you come to. Go to the left side of the screen and take the door you come to.
You'll now be back to the first area of this zone. Head back to Zulan and
heal, then come back. From the door back into the cave, go right and you'll
see where the boulder bridged the gap. Cross it and enter the cave on the
far right. Go right and enter the door. Go up the stairs and push the next
snowball and it will bridge the gap below. Before going back, go up the
nearby stairs to the left and take the Flame Saber from the chest. Give it
to Hiro. Go back to the cave and cross back left. Go down the stairs and right
to the lower part of the cave. Go right and exit the cave. Continue right,
crossing the filled gap and right to the door into the cave. Grab the Iron
Bracelet in here and then take the upper door out. Make your way up and left,
up the stairs to the door. This will take you to the cold side of the
mountain. Go a little ways and the party will be hit by an avalanche!
Hiro hears Lucia's voice and when he wakes up, she's there beside of him.
She heals Hiro and Ruby. She came back because she felt something was wrong.
Lucia then re-joins the party. Go up the mountain to find Ronfar, Jean,
and Lemina. Lucia will heal them each and they will rejoin the party. Make
sure Lemina is equipped with the Water Staff (to make her magic stronger). Go
up and you'll find the monster that's causing all the problems with Zulan!
Boss: HP EXP Silver M. EXP
Missing Link 2600 20000 6656 5120
When Missing Link has wind circling around him, you have to hit him with Flame
magic, else you can't touch him. Since Hiro acts faster, on the first turn
have him USE the Flame Saber to lower the field. Jean and Ronfar should
defend the first turn and Lemina should cast Power Flame on Hiro. Missing
Link gets two attacks per turn so keep that in mind. After the first turn,
have Hiro use Poe Sword, Ronfar Heal or use Light Litany if he has it, Jean
use Needle Step, and Lemina use Flame or Flame Shot. Keep up the attacks
and before long Missing Link will fall, giving you a whole crap-load of Exp,
Silver, and Magic Exp.
Go right to the cave and make your way back to Zulan.
-Zulan-
Heal up in Zulan. Talk to the Mayor and his granddaughter, who both thank you
(though Lemina seems to want to bill them for exterminating the monster).
Either way, to the left of the Mayor's house and the Snow Field's entrance is
the exit out of town. Take it.
-Katarina Zone-
You may have noticed by now that Hiro is starting to level up faster. For me
at this time he's at level 18 and just a level behind Jean. Also you'll notice
that now Lucia runs a lot less and will actually use useful spells to help in
the battles. Anyway, from Zulan head southwest a ways and you'll shortly come
to the city of Meribia.
-Meribia-
Upon entering, Jean mentions that her old master Lunn has a Dojo set up in
the city that is devoted to Blue Dragon Karate. Before doing that though, head
to the Weapon Shop. Buy Ronfar a Battle Hammer (weaker than his Flail, but it
adds an attack), and a Thunder Staff for Lemina. At the Armor Shop, buy Hiro
a Knight Armor and an Iron Helm, a Judgment Robe and Iron Helm for Ronfar,
a Graceful Dress for Jean, and a Judgment Robe for Lemina. Also before going
to see Lunn, go to the "other" item shop in town. This is Ramus' Shop (the
same shop, but the descendant of the original Ramus from the first Lunar).
Ramus is standing to the right side on top of the stairs. Lemina seems to know
Ramus and refers to him as her teacher (teacher of making money). However, the
shop has been doing poorly.
Now that that is settled, head to the Dojo on the right side of town (for
those who played the first lunar, it is where Master Mel's mansion used to
stand). Lunn is upstairs in his room. Talk to him and he will tell you that
he is one of Althena's Four Heroes (Leo being the first one you met, you will
meet the other two later). Jean tells Lunn that she was taught the Black
Karate of Death by a coward who hides behind a mask who continues to teach.
Lunn thanks Jean for informing him and says that the Blue Dragon Cult, which
the masked guy is believed to teach in, lives near Taben's Peak and believes
that the same bandits that are attacking the people live there. Lunn then asks
Jean to go to Taben's Peak and gather information.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
f. The Masked Bandit
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Katarina Zone-
Head east from Meribia and you'll soon reach Taben's Peak.
-Taben's Peak-
Monsters: Tormentor, Dream Leech, Ice Mongrel
Treasures: Pink Bow
Upon entering, Lemina will note that this is where most robberies take place
and to "keep your eyes peeled and your hands on your valuables". Ruby yells
at Ronfar and tells him to get his hands out of his pants, but he says that
he's following Lemina's orders (go ahead and laugh at that one, I had to put
it in here). Follow the path and go up at the fork. Just then, a creature that
looks just like Ruby (except it's white) flies down, then runs into the
bushes. When Ruby chases it, she's caught by a boy. The boy says his name is
Nall and that he doesn't welcome trespassers on his property. He lets go of
Ruby and says to the party to watch their step, then leaves. Lucia says that
she doesn't sense evil around Nall though. Continue up. The elevator doesn't
work yet. Heal at the statue and go up the ladder.
Currently Taben's Peak is the best place to gain EXP, Mag. EXP, and money.
You can get close to 1000 M. Exp per fight, which can add up to fast Magic
Leveling. If you find Ice Mongrels, try to kill them quickly. Poe Sword is
about the only attack that actually does any damage to it, but if you combine
it with Power Flame, Hiro should take them down in a few rounds. They give a
good 30000+ Exp.
But for now let's not worry about it. Let's worry about getting to
the top. Keep in mind that the leaves on the trees make this area look more
difficult than it really is. You shouldn't have much problem. From the ladder,
go down and take a right. Make your way right and down to the stairs in the
tree. On the 2nd floor, just follow the path given until you reach the stairs,
then go right and up for the stairs to the next floor. The 3rd floor is pretty
straight to get to the stairs. On the forth floor, take the steps up to the
upper tier, then take a right and then down. Go down to the bottom and take
the chute down to the 3rd floor. Go left and grab the Pink Bow (give it to
Lemina). Take the nearby chute back down to the 2nd floor. Retrace your steps
and go back up to the 4th floor. This time, instead of taking a right to the
chute, take a left to the stairs. On the 5th floor, just make your way to the
upper-right of the screen and go up to exit.
As you enter, Nall will call for his Dragon Kids to surround the party. They
don't do anything, just stop you from leaving. Follow Nall inside. Talk to
the kids and they'll say that the Blue Dragon Cult has been kidnapping their
friends. Make your way to the top floor and talk to Nall again. Nall accuses
you of being members of the Blue Dragon Cult, though Jean tries to prove that
they're not. Nall decides to give them a chance; return the kidnapped children
to him and he won't kill them. And to make sure they don't double-cross him,
Nall takes Lucia as a hostage. Nall then says that the Cult's hideout is
somewhere in the Meribian Sewers (oh no... not this place again).
Anyways, before you leave Taben's Peak completely (though you can go down
the Gondola to heal), this is a good time to level up now. Get Hiro to Level
24 (so he'll learn Battalion Sword), as well as getting Flame and Health Magic
up to Level 16. If you have both of them at 16 and Hiro still isn't at Level
24, work on Chance up to 16 (don't go any further than 16 on this one), Dance
(same thing, no higher than 16), and Ice. Don't touch Wind remember. Once
Hiro reaches 24, exit Taben's Peak and head back to Meribia.
-Meribia-
Head to Ramus' shop and talk to Ramus. He'll say that they were cleaning up
the shop and found a passage to the Meribian Sewers, but because of a Clause
in the Will of Ramus I (the one who fought with Dragonmaster Alex), he said
that nobody should go down there. Enter the hole in the wall near the guy
below Ramus to enter the Merbian Sewers.
-Meribian Sewers-
Monsters: Mutant Turtle, Crusher, Deadpole, ASSASSIN
Treasures: Battle Hammer, Mystic Bow, Holy Water
Don't worry, there is no Water Dragon here like there was in the first Lunar.
But this is a good place to level up again, especially Magic. Get all of the
Magic Levels except Wind up to 16 while you're in here. After that, focus
your M. Exp on Health and Flame.
From the entrance, go left across the bridge. Go up across the bridge and take
a right. In the room at the end is a Battle Hammer. Go back left across the
bridge and left across another one. Go up across the bridge and then go right
all the way until you reach the next area. In the next area, go right across
the bridge then down across either bridge. Go right across the next bridge
and up into the room for a Mystic Bow. Go back left and down the bridge. Go
left, down, and left across that bridge and down to the next area. In this
area, go right across the bridge and take the 2nd bridge going down. Go left
a bit and take the bridge going down. Go left and cross the next two bridges,
then go down and follow left to the next area. In this last area, there is
a Holy Water on the far left side (but I don't think it's worth it). From
the entrance to this area, go left across the bridge. Go up across the bridge
and then left all the way. Save before taking the stairs.
Just as you arrive, you'll see the Masked Bandit and his trained assassins
taking away the children. The Masked Bandit speaks and wonders why Jean is
associating herself with "trash". She gets mad at him for stealing her
innocence and training her in death. He says that the children will only be
freed when his elite guards die. Well, that can be arranged.

Assassin (x5) 400 2304 778 522
This battle is ridiculously easy. There are 5 Assassins to worry about, but
they go down easily. Just have Hiro use Battalion Sword, Ronfar use Priest
Litany then Light Litany, Jean should fight, and Lemina should use Pyro
Pillar. Two rounds and they'll go down.
After the fight, Jean knocks the mask off the Masked Bandit. He covers his
face and runs onto his boat, telling Jean to come to a town to Horam and
enter the Tournament of Death. After he leaves, Jean takes the mask and says
that she could take it to Master Lunn. The Children that were rescued thank
the party and runs back to Taben's Peak. Take the stairs to the right and it
will take you to Master Lunn's Dojo.
-Meribia-
Go to Lunn's room and you'll see that he's not there. The guy there says that
Althena requests that Lunn go to Pentagulia. Exit and heal at the statue,
then make your way back to Taben's Peak.
-Taben's Peak-
Take the Gondola up to the top. Go to the door and Nall will come out. He
thanks Hiro and the party, but wonders if the adventuring is suitable for a
Red Dragon (Ruby doesn't admit to it, but Nall can tell). He then leads the
party inside. Everybody inside thanks Hiro again. Nall tells Hiro to find
Lucia. However, this is when I highly suggest leveling up. Hiro will be alone
so the EXP is 100% his. Take the Gondola to the bottom and go up the ladder.
Fight monsters there and when you get weak, go out and use the Statue. Just
don't wander too far. Battalion Sword usually works great, but if you fight
Ice Mongrels, focus on one with Poe Sword (32000+ exp for Hiro will give him
around 3-4 levels, just make sure to save after you do so). At Level 36 he
will learn Dark Sword, which is a VERY powerful skill (just don't use it on
the undead). I recommend getting Hiro up to Level 40 before continuing. Why?
He'll have Dark Sword, his HP will be up over 300, his attack and defense will
be much higher, and he'll be able to survive against a heavy ambush where
others might die and cause you to have to start over.
After you have a high enough level, go back to the top. Now it's time to find
Lucia. Go into the building and upstairs. Take a left and some boys will come
out. Go inside and you'll hear someone singing. It's Lucia! (seems she learned
how to sing while you were gone). She asks that you wait outside for her
(seems she learned modesty too). Lucia will come out and rejoin the party.
Go downstairs and meet up with the rest. Once they get back, take the time to
level up magic again (remember, now that everything but Wind is at 16, focus
only on Health and Fire, and a little bit on Ice). Hopefully Ronfar will learn
Rest Litany. Talk to Nall and he swears he'll pay you back somehow. Leave and
Nall will give you the legendary White Dragon Wings, which when used will warp
you out of dungeons. Give them to Ruby (since it is a waste of space in anyone
else's inventory). He then says that the barricade leading to Vane has opened.
Take the Gondola down, heal, and head down and right to exit the other side.

g. The Fallen City and the High Tower
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Katarina Zone-
Vane is pretty easy to find. Just head south from Taben's Peak then southeast
a bit then you should pretty much see it. Enter.
-Vane-
After you enter the city, somebody will tell Lemina that they are in big
trouble. She says that Borgan has come to talk to Lemina's Mother, Miria. The
people of Vane tried to stop him, but him and his magicians were too strong.
Just as that is said, two Magicians come and block the entrance, saying that
nobody is allowed in. Lemina then says there is a transmission spring just to
the east of Vane. Exit the city.
-Katarina Zone-
Make your way east and you should easily see the Transfer Spring. Enter it.
-Transfer Spring-
Enter the magic circle on the right. Lemina will activate its magic and you
will be teleported to the Cave of Trials.
-Cave of Trials-
Monsters: EVIL EYE, FLESHSUCKER
There are no monsters here so take your time. The treasure chests here you
won't be able to open just yet as Lemina says they are her's. From the Magic
Circle, take the upper-left path and follow up and right to the stairs. As
you walk down, you will be encountered by a monster.
Boss: HP EXP Silver M. EXP
Evil Eye 1750 25000 8000 6000
Real easy. Poe Sword, Charm Dance, Light Litany, and Flame Shot. Couldn't be
any easier than that. Lucia will help quite a bit in this fight as well. 2 or
3 rounds and Evil Eye will fall.
Go down and left until you see another set of stairs. Take them. Go right to
the fork and then go right and up to the next stairs. Go left until you reach
a path going up. Take it and then head right. Before you can reach the stairs,
you'll have to fight yet again.
Boss: HP EXP Silver M. EXP
Fleshsucker 2500 25000 5888 5000
This battle is a bit harder as Fleshsucker can turn your allies to stone. Have
Hiro use Poe Sword, Ronfar use Light Litany (or Clean Magic if someone is
turned to stone), Jean should use Charm Dance, and Lemina should use Flame
Shot. Lucia will probably just cast Iron Tiger on Hiro throughout the fight.
Keep it up and Fleshsucker will die.
Take the stairs up. Just head down to the bottom and you'll soon see a door
leading out.
-Vane-
Treasures: Vitality Vial, Plasma Ring, 3680 S., Sunflower Seeds
Heal at the statue. Head to the weapon shop and buy Hiro a Platinum Scimitar
and Ronfar an Iron Mace. At the armor shop, buy Jean a Battle Dress and a
Pink Bow, and buy Ronfar, Jean, and Lemina a Steel Bracelet. Head to the
northern part of Vane and Lemina will say that the big mansion is her home
(though Ruby wonders where Bob Vila is to help repair the house... personally
I'd prefer the Tool Man). Enter the Mansion and head to the meeting room in
the middle. Miria and Borgan are inside talking. Borgan puts down Vane and
asks that Miria come with him to Neo-Vane. Go in and talk to Borgan and he
will introduce himself as the most powerful wizard in the world. Talk to him
again and he'll claim he has changed. Talk to Miria a couple of times and she
will say that Borgan is one of Althena's Four Heroes (Leo, Lunn, and Borgan,
that leaves just one). She insists that Lemina treat Borgan with respect.
Talk to Borgan again and he will use a spell to make Miria disappear. Before
he leaves, he invites Lemina to come to Pentagulia.
Lemina then gets depressed and runs off. Follow her to the roof and Ronfar
will ask Hiro to speak to Lemina. Talk to her and when given the prompt, pick
the "No, Vane is Wonderful!" option. Hiro will then cheer Lemina up, followed
by Ronfar, Jean (who offers to join), and Lucia. Lemina will thank you. Go
back downstairs and Lemina will give you permission to take any treasure chest
in Vane. Inside the Magic Guild, there is a Vitality Vial and a Plasma Ring
(give the Plasma Ring to Ronfar to raise his agility). Above the guild is a
hidden chest that contains Sunflower Seeds. To the right of the Magic Guild
is the Library, which has 3680 Silver in it. After getting this, head back
to the Cave of Trials.
-Cave of Trials-
Treasures: Silver Light, 1694 S., Herb, Dover Nut
On this floor to the left of the entrance is a Silver Light. Go do the stairs
at the upper part to the next floor. On this floor near the lower part is
1098 Silver. Take the stairs down. This floor contains an Herb. Take the
stairs down and grab the Dover Nut in the chest on the right side. Go down
another floor and take the 596 Silver from the chest before taking the
Transfer Spring back to the outside. Just go back outside.
-Katarina Zone-
From Vane, head southwest across the bridge and then south to Azado.
-Azado-
Ronfar seems to recall a transfer device that connects Azado to Pentagulia.
Buy Jean a Razor Fan at the weapon shop. Also, buy Hiro a Lightning Armor,
Platinum Shield, and Steel Helm. Buy Ronfar a Steel Helm and Priest's Clothes,
and get Lemina an Aura Robe. Go to the left side of town and talk to the man
by the gate. Ronfar will suggest looking in the town for the gatekeeper. Go
to the big house on the lower-right side of town (the door on the left) and
talk to the man by the table and he will leave for the gate. Follow him and
the gate will be open. Cross the bridge to the left and enter the Shrine to
Althena. Go to the upper part of the shrine and Ronfar will open the door to
the Azado Tower. Go through the door and enter the actual tower.
-Azado Tower-
Monsters: Nipple Yanker, Metallion, Monocrop, CORPSE CRUSHER
Treasures: Dover Nut, Angel Ring, Sunflower Seeds, Star Light, Heal Ring
Take the stairs up to the 2nd floor. On the 2nd floor, take the stairs to the
left side. Just follow the path given until you reach the 6th floor. On this
floor, take the path up to the stairs going down, which leads to a Dover Nut,
then go back up the stairs and go to the right side. Take those stairs and
go to the upper part. Take the stairs on the right that lead down to get an
Angel Ring, then go back up. If you need to heal badly use the Goddess Statue
in the middle, but it will cost you 1000 Silver to use. Go up the stairs to
the left. Take the lower set of stairs for some Sunflower Seeds and a Star
Light, then go back down and take the stairs on the upper-right side. Make
your way to the top floor. Before checking the Transport in the middle, on
the right side is a chest with a Heal Ring (which should be given to Lemina).
Save and check out the Transport. Ronfar tries to activate it, but messes up
somewhere and summons a monster.

Corpse Crusher 2000 20500 3092 3092
-Arm (x2) 450 -- -- --
The battle is a bit tricky as the Corpse Crusher can hit you pretty hard.
Kill off the arms first before they lay waste to you with Pulsinator or
Nightmare attack. Hiro should use Poe Sword, Ronfar Light Litany or Rest
Litany, Jean should fight, and Lemina should just cast Power Flame on Hiro.
Lucia will involve herself well in this fight. After the arms are gone focus
on the torso. It shouldn't be long before it dies.

-Azado Tower-
Ronfar and Lucia discover some Runes that are not suppose to be at the
Transport that is summoning beasts to attack. Just as you're about ready to
leave, Leo and his guards show up. Leo and Ronfar discuss the beast a bit,
and Ronfar believes that Leo set up the beast. Leo orders the guards to take
them to the Destiny but to leave Hiro behind. Talk to Leo and he'll ask Hiro
if he thinks Lucia is the destroyer. Answer "Only once a month" and Hiro will
explain to Leo that he doesn't believe Lucia to be the Destroyer. Leo is
starting to believe it himself. A priest then comes and wonders why Leo has
come to the forbidden tower. He then gets mad at Leo and summons the beast
again.
Boss: HP EXP Silver M. EXP
Corpse Crusher 2000 20500 3092 3092
-Arm (x2) 450 -- -- --
Now you are in a bit more trouble. Hiro and Leo are left to fend for
themselves while fighting off another Corpse Crusher. Leo will share the
exact same stats as Hiro, so having two 40+ level fighters shouldn't make
this battle tough. On the first round, have Hiro use Battalion Sword and Leo
use Grizzle Gash. This should take care of the arms. After that, just have
Hiro use Poe Sword and Leo use Flash Blade. A round or two and this Corpse
Crusher will fall.
After the fight, Leo will start to think that the Cult of Althena has gone
insane and that perhaps Ronfar was right all along. Now you have to make your
way out of the tower, because the White Dragon Wings will not work. Before
starting, do yourself a favor and give Ruby all of Leo's items and the
Refresher Ring. Head to the steps and Leo will say to Hiro that they have to
put their differences aside if they wish to survive on the way down. Put
Leo and Hiro side-by-side in the front row so that it will minimize how many
spaces you need to walk during battle. It shouldn't be too hard with the level
both Hiro and Leo are at to make it to the bottom, but if you are too
out-numbered, have Hiro use Dark Sword.
Once at the bottom floor, Leo will praise Hiro's combat skills. Go down and
you'll see Leo's guards injured. They will say that "they" got Lucia. Go
outside and the city will be in flames. Go a ways and Leo will recognize
Mauri, his sister, fighting against Ronfar, Jean, Lemina, and Lucia. Ronfar
wonders why Mauri burnt the city. He mentions a ritual and asks if she has
any love leftover in her heart for Ronfar, to let them pass, but evidently she
is still mad for Ronfar leaving her after she got the plague, and now works
for Althena, saying that she has ordered Lucia's execution. Leo then runs in
and tells Mauri to go back, saying that he might have found a better way to
deal with Lucia. She then warps out. Leo apologizes to Hiro and Ronfar, then
says that he will escort Lucia and the rest to Pentagulia.
-Dragonship Destiny-
Talk to your teammates and they'll tell you how the feel right now. Jean
suggests that Hiro should go see Lemina (but Ruby is always with him). Go
up a floor and talk to the guard by the steps leading to the deck. He will
just love Ruby and offers her some fish, which Ruby falls for. Tell Ruby that
it is ok to go and she'll leave with the guard, leaving Hiro alone. Go to the
dock and Lucia will be there singing. They talk for a bit but then Lucia blows
up at Hiro, saying that he could not possibly understand what is at stake if
Zophar returns to power. She runs off crying, telling Hiro to leave her alone.
After a while, the Destiny arrives at Pentagulia.
-Pentagulia-
Monsters: GHALEON
Follow Leo and soon Ghaleon will appear from out of nowhere. Leo refers to him
as "Master" Ghaleon and explains to him why he brought Lucia to Pentagulia.
Ghaleon says that he has been secretly following Lucia and questions Leo's
dedication to Althena and then disappears. After Leo leaves, talk to Lemina,
Jean, and Ronfar, who go off to see Borgan, Lunn, and Mauri respectively.
After everyone leaves, head up to the building and enter.
You'll notice the Pentagulia is huge. Lucia knows Althena is near but doesn't
sense her presence. There are 4 towers in the 4 corners with the main shrine
in the middle. Enter the shrine though either the right or left side. Meet
Leo in front of the door in the middle. He asks if you're ready to meet
Althena yet. Say yes and Leo will lead you inside where Ghaleon and Althena
await. Althena says that she has sealed off Zophar's power, but Lucia sees
that the woman in front of them is NOT Althena. She tries to attack her, but
Ghaleon steps in the way and then attacks Lucia, knocking her out.
Boss: HP EXP Silver M. EXP
Ghaleon -- -- -- --
There really is no hope in this battle, as Hiro fights Ghaleon himself and
Ghaleon is practically invincible. Just attack him for 3 turns, then Ghaleon
will steal all of Hiro's magic power. However, after that, Hiro will actually
be able to hurt him... it's just a shame you don't have any magic left. That
with the fact that Ghaleon will kill you in one shot anyway is enough to just
tell you not to put up much of a fight.
After Hiro is defeated, Leo asks what just happened. Ghaleon questions his
loyalty and Hiro soon wakes up in prison. Talk to Ruby and she can't believe
just how powerful Ghaleon is. Talk to her again and she'll wonder how Lucia
is. Just then, a man in a White Mask comes in and releases Hiro. Ruby
recognizes it as Leo, but the man calls himself Mystere, "protector of the
innocent and... uh... defender of truth". (If you can't tell that's it's
really Leo, then do not continue this game as you are totally clueless right
now). Anyways, Hiro and Ruby play along and "Mystere" joins the party. He says
that there are four towers in Pentagulia, each having a prison on top of it
and is connected through underground passages. You are currently atop the
White Tower, and Mystere will help you get the rest of your party back
together.
-White Tower-
Monsters: Necro Knight
Treasures: Heat Ring, 1130 S.
With you and Mystere, make your way down. Make sure to grab the Heat Ring on
the way down and give it to Hiro (this will allow him to use Recovery Litany,
which right now will come in handy). Keep going down the stairs (grabbing the
money on your way). At the bottom is a Statue of Althena, but will only work
if you donate 500 Silver. Go down the stairs to the right that leads to the
hidden passage under Pentagulia.
-Under Pentagulia-
Monsters: Necro Knight, Flash Lord, Flyboy, Assassin
You now want to make your way to the Red Tower, which is where Ronfar is. The
Red Tower is the southwest tower in Pentagulia (the White Tower you came from
was the northwest). Make your way to the southwest corner and enter the Red
Tower.
-Red Tower-
Monsters: Flash Lord
Treasures: Dover Nut, Tri Ring
On your way up, make sure you grab the Dover Nut and Tri Ring. When you reach
the top, press the button to release Ronfar. Ronfar then tells his story of
how he met with Mauri in the Red Tower and how he wants to try to free her of
the curse she's under. Mauri is this way because of Ronfar and cannot go
back, but claims she is the same person Ronfar fell in love with. As Mauri
threatens to kill Ronfar, he hears the real Mauri's voice, pleading with
Ronfar to release her from the sea of darkness. Ronfar then collapses and you
return to reality. Ronfar vows to avenge the real Mauri and rejoins the party.
Give him the Tri-Ring (to replace the Fresh Ring). Make your way down to
the underground passage again.
-Under Pentagulia-
Head to the southeast corner of the passage to enter the Black Tower.
-Black Tower-
Monsters: Flyboy
Treasures: 2395 S., Soul Staff
Make your way to the top, but make sure you take the money and the Soul Staff
from the chests you come to. At the top is Lemina. Press the button to free
her and she'll tell her story. She met up with Borgan in the Black Tower.
Borgan says that Miria is no longer in Pentagulia but is in Neo-Vane, and
actually LOVES it there. Borgan has given Miria everything and treats her like
a queen, and says that once they are married, Lemina won't be able to rebuild
the Magic Guild of Vane. Before Lemina is taken prisoner, Borgan mutters
something of Zophar's revival. Lemina then joins after her story. Give her
the Soul Staff and Ronfar's old Fresh Ring. Make your way back to the
underground passage.
-Under Pentagulia-
Now time for the last tower. Go to the northeast side to the Blue Tower.
-Blue Tower-
Monsters: Assassin
Treasures: 1115 S., Holy Water, Dover Nut
The treasures on the way to the top aren't too special but you can still grab
them if you want. At the top is Jean. Press the button to free her and she
will tell you about her meeting with Lunn in the Blue Tower. Lunn says that
Jean was always his best student. Jean then quickly figures out that the
leader of the Blue Dragon Cult was none other than Lunn. Jean then blames
everything she ever went through on Lunn. Lunn then knocks her out and puts
her in the cell.
After Jean rejoins, Mystere says his work is done and leaves. Everybody knows
that it was Leo behind the mask, but Ronfar goes on his defense and says that
if the others found out about him helping them out, the Cult would kill him
and Mauri as well. Ronfar prays that he leaves the cult soon. Save and go
back down the stairs, where Leo will be waiting for you without his mask. He
says that he followed your work (no kidding Dick Tracy). He believes that they
must work together to figure out what is happening. He suggests finding Lucia
and hear from her, who is being held in a secret area. Head back to the
underground passage.
-Under Pentagulia-
Go in-between the two Statues of Althena. Search around and Leo will open the
secret door back up to the Pentagulia Shrine.
-Pentagulia Shrine-
Treasures: Lynx Tail, Angel Ring
No Monsters here now. Exit the main hall and go to the stairs on the right
side which leads you to a Lynx Tail (give it to Jean). Go back down and take
the stairs on the left side which leads to an Angel Ring. Go up and right
from the chest and you'll overhear Lucia being questioned and imprisoned by
"Althena" and Ghaleon. Lucia says that she won't stop until Zophar has been
stopped for good. Althena says that Lucia cannot stop them, as she controls
the Four Dragons, the Four Heroes, and even the Dragonmaster himself. Althena
then says she will extract Lucia's power to give herself eternal youth. She
then disappears. Ghaleon then says that Althena's selfish desires have blinded
her from the truth. Ghaleon says that the true purpose to the Cult of Althena
was to bring Zophar back to power so that he can get revenge on the real
Althena, which is why Zophar revived Ghaleon, because Ghaleon also wants
revenge against her. After Ghaleon leaves, Leo will get mad at himself for
helping the cult revive Zophar. Leo then runs off. Go inside the main chamber
and free Lucia. She begs that they find the real Althena and then runs off.
Follow her. She says that Ghaleon told her that Althena was in the "5th"
tower, but said nothing of where it was. She then thinks that the pool is
actually a Fountain of Transport. So she blows a hole in the railing and jumps
in. Smart eh? Well, you have little choice but to follow her.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Goddess Tower-
You will land in front of the Goddess Tower. Try to enter, but you will be
blocked from entering. Go back down the stairs and Lucia will say that the
seal to the tower is the work of Zophar. Just then, Althena appears. She says
that through the power of the Dragons was the seal created, but had help from
her friends... Lunn, Borgan, and Mauri. Then Ghaleon "appears", much to
Althena's dismay. Though Ghaleon doesn't show up, the White Dragon Wings glow
as Lucia can actually hear the REAL Althena's voice. Just then, everybody is
warped out of harm's way. Althena gets real mad as Ghaleon appears in front
of Althena, Lunn, Borgan, and Mauri. Ghaleon gets mad at Althena for not being
able to capture a girl without his help. He says that they escaped with the
help of one of their friends. Ghaleon is set to go after Lucia, but Zophar
shows up and tells him to wait, as he is certain that Lucia will return. But
Ghaleon is concerned that Lucia will try to awaken the Four Dragons. Zophar
entrusts Ghaleon to strengthen the seal on the Goddess Tower.
-Taben's Peak-
You arrive at Taben's Peak, where Nall awaits you. Talk to Nall and Lucia will
ask him to help break the seal on the Goddess Tower. She knows that Nall is
the true White Dragon (so yes, in case you were wondering, this is the same
Nall from the first Lunar). Nall wishes he could help, but the power of the
Dragons has been sealed, saying that Zophar used Ghaleon to seal up the power
of the Four Dragons. He then recalls the day Ghaleon just appeared and took
his Dragon Aura. Ruby laughs at Nall for losing his Dragon Aura to a human,
but Nall comes back saying that Ruby hasn't even claimed her's. Nall suggests
finding the four Dragon Aura, which are each guarded by Althena's Four Heroes
(Leo, Lunn, Borgan, and Mauri). Agree to help Lucia, then Nall tells you to
defeat White Knight Leo, who holds his Aura. Talk to Ronfar, Jean, and Lemina,
who will all agree to go with Hiro to finish what they started. As you do that,
some of the Dragon Kids will say that the Dragonship Destiny is approaching.
Nall goes to the White Dragon Cave to wait. Ruby however believes that Leo
will just hand over the Aura without a fight.
Take the Gondola to the bottom and exit towards Vane. Then enter the Destiny
that is parked nearby.
-Dragonship Destiny-
Monsters: LORD LEO
Talk to Leo and he will say that Hiro has to fight him. He knows that good
must win over evil, but because of the mess he got himself into, he doesn't
know how to get out of it. So, Hiro is forced into a one-on-one fight with
Leo.

This battle is TOO easy. Just use Poe Sword and he will quickly fall.
Leo admires Hiro's swordfighting ability and thinks that he might be the one
of Legend. Leo then gives the White Dragon Aura and says that the White Dragon
Cave lies within an Iceberg on the North Sea. He then gives Hiro the Destiny
in order to aid with the mission. Leo then leaves the ship, wishing everyone
luck.
Drive towards Meriba in the Destiny and go off the ramp nearby into the sea.
Head west until you reach the continent of ice. You'll have to get off and
walk the rest of the way though.

-White Dragon Cave-
Monsters: Ice Pup, Blyzzer, Electro Eye, Muttley, WHITE FIEND
Treasures: 9709 S., Platinum Armor, Dover Nut x2, Silver Light,
Dragon Angel Crest, Shiro Tail, Angel Ring, Platinum Helm
As you enter, Nall's will cast his voice and tell you to get to his Lair,
but in order to do so, you have to get the 4 Ice Treasures (they are big white
chests in each corner of the cave). Go up and you'll notice that the cave
splits into 4 directions. Start with the northwest side and enter that door.
From the entrance, go left and hug the far left side on your way up. Grab the
chest worth 3000 Silver and then follow right. When you reach the fork either
going directly right or down, go down. At the next fork, go left and down,
taking the first path left you come to. Go up the stairs and open the Ice
Chest with a Platinum Armor inside. Give it to Hiro. There is a Dover Nut on
the far right side, but it's not worth getting. Just go back to the entrance
room and take the Southwest Corner this time.
This room is very confusing to get through to get to the Ice Chest, mainly
because of the Transporters. From the entrance, go up to the Transport, then
follow up and left to the next one. Follow right to the next transport. Now,
walk back into the same transporter you just warped from. Do it again. Go left
from this transporter to get a Silver Light, then walk back into the
Transport. Go south to get the Dover Nut in the chest, then go back up to the
Transport again. Walk into the transport you came from, then do it again one
more time. Walk up to the Ice Chest to get the Dragon Angel Crest. Give it
to Ronfar in exchange for his Plasma Ring, and give the Plasma Ring to Jean.
Go back to the Transport and down to the entrance room again. Now go to the
Southeast corner area.
Go left and hug along that side on your way up. At the end of the path is a
chest with a Shiro Tail (give it to Jean). Take the Transport back to the
front. This time hug the far right side and follow up to a chest with 4599
Silver and a Transport back to the front Take it. Now take the 2nd path from
the left side. At the fork take a right and follow all the way to the top to
the Ice Chest with an Angel Ring inside. Make your way back to the entrance
room and go to the northeast side this time.
Take the 2nd path from the left side and follow up. Take the 2nd path going
right then follow up until you reach a chest with 2110 Silver. Go right from
there to the Ice Chest with a Platinum Helm for Hiro. Use the White Dragon
Wings and heal up at the Destiny, then walk back to the Cave. Now that all
the Ice Chests are open, the door in the middle of the entrance room is open.
Save and go inside. Go up and you'll see the White Fiend!
Boss: HP EXP Silver M. EXP
White Fiend 5600 25000 10042 12800
This isn't too hard as long as Ronfar has the Tri-Ring equipped. When the
White Fiend turns purple, he is gonna let loose his Coma Blast, which will
do heavy damage and Mute anybody it hits (which is why the Tri-Ring is good
on Ronfar). Have Hiro use Poe Sword, Ronfar use Bright Litany (he should have
it by now, else use Light), Jean should attack, and Lemina should use Flame
Shot. After getting hit with Coma Blast, have Ronfar use Rest Litany if
needed then have him use Clean Magic on Hiro (so that he can use Poe Sword).
Lucia will help out with Iron Tiger and Spark Cannon. After a long battle,
the White Fiend will fall.
Go up to the White Dragon's Lair and Nall will be there waiting for you. He
says to throw the Dragon Aura at the Crystal. Go near the edge and check it
out to throw the White Dragon Aura at the Crystal to unseal the power of the
White Dragon. Nall then turns into the White Dragon and says that you need the
other Dragon Aura to break the 3 remaining seals and suggests to go after the
Blue Dragon next, and to see Lunn to get the Aura, who is at Horam to the
South of this cave. He goes off to melt some of the icebergs, leaving Hiro
with the White Dragon Crest (which should be given to Hiro in exchange for
the Fire Ring). This will enable the wearer to cast White Dragon Protect.
Though it cost 99 MP to cast, it will completely protect the party for one
turn. Exit the White Dragon Cave and make your way back to the Destiny.

Enter the doors and go inside the town. Don't buy anything just yet, but first
go to the large house at the upper end of town. This is Wong-Lee's dojo.
Talk to him (he's sitting at the upper end of the dojo). She asks Wong-Lee to
invite her into the Karate Tournament. Jean says she can no longer hide from
her past, then goes off to equip herself in traditional Karate garbs, saying
that her skill combines the Blue Dragon Karate with dance. Wong-Lee senses
that Jean will make Lunn remember what Karate is all about. You then receive
the invitation to the Karate Tournament.
Jean is automatically equipped with the Atomic Punch and Seal Wrap, and now
can use Karate Skills. Now go and buy Hiro a Platinum Blade and Ronfar a
Thor's Hammer at the weapon shop. At the armor shop, but Hiro a Thunder Shield,
Ronfar and Lemina a Blazing Robe, Jean a Gold Clip, and Lemina a Wisdom Tiara.
-Katarina Zone-
Monsters: Maneater, Ice Pup, Mutant Fly
From Horam, go south until you reach a bridge, then cross to the east. Go
south and cross the bridge to the east. Follow a bit east then in between the
canyon walls to the Zen Zone.
-Zen Zone-
Monsters: Ninja, Wolf Guard, Mercanary, MASTER LUNN
Talk to the guy by the entrance and Jean will give him the invitation. He will
let you in. There is a merchant on the lower side that sells some items.
After you've healed at the Statue, talk to the guy by the ring. Say that you
are ready and you'll have your first 3-on-3 fight. Hiro, Jean, and Ronfar
will participate against 3 Ninjas. This battle is pretty easy. Just have Hiro
and Jean attack while Ronfar uses the Iron Mace or Bright Litany if healing is
needed. Once you win, heal at the Statue and talk to the man in front of the
ring to enter the next battle. 3 Wolf Guards will be even tougher. Don't try
to attack them while they're crouching else they will counter. Don't be afraid
to use Poe Sword and Haduken to get rid of them. After you win, you'll have
to fight the Blue Dragon Cult next. Heal up and talk to the guy in front of
the ring to fight again. 3 Mercenaries will fight you this time. Don't
hesitate in this fight. Battalion Sword and Comet Tail both work good here,
along with Bright Litany. It shouldn't take too long to kill them though.
After you win the tournament, heal and save. Before you talk to Lunn, equip
Jean with the Shiro Tail and a Heal Ring. Also, make sure that Jean has a few
Dover Nuts and Star Lights with her. Now talk to Lunn. Jean says that she
will put the misuse of Lunn's Karate to a stop. Lunn and Jean argue about what
Karate is all about. Jean says that if she beats Lunn, Lunn will stop his evil
ways, but Lunn will only agree if the fight is to the death. Agree with him
and him and Jean will have a 1-on-1 fight.

Master Lunn 2000 10000 6000 20000
This battle can be tricky, but if you've been following my walkthrough to the
T, then Jean should know Dopple Dance. Use Dopple Dance ONLY when Lunn has
his hands on his hips and is standing upright. This is because he will use
Chameleon to disappear, and Dopple Dance will find him at the end of the turn
and reveal him. Any other time, use Haduken on him, except if your HP is low
and he is either ready to use Chameleon or is flaming, then you should heal.
Keep up the attacks and Lunn will fall.
The fallen Lunn's heart seems to melt as he realizes the error of his ways
and gives Jean the Blue Dragon Aura, saying that the Blue Dragon Cave is to
the north of the Zen Zone. Heal at the Statue and exit.
-Katarina Zone-
Head back to the Destiny. Board it and go down the ramp into the sea again.
Go southeast in between the islands and follow east until you see a ramp. Go
up and get off the Destiny. Enter the Blue Dragon Cave.
-Blue Dragon Cave-
Monsters: Groper, Aqua Shark, Aqua Elemental, Doom Rigger, Ammonia, BLUE FIEND
Treasures: 15893 S., Dover Nut x2, Wisdom Cap, Vitality Vial, Thunder Armor,
Thunder Helm, Silver Light, Earth Crux
The cave is pretty easy to navigate, it's just the monsters that are a bit
on the hard side. Shouldn't be anything you can't handle though. From the
entrance, go behind the waterfall and enter the door behind it. Go straight
up until you reach a chest containing 10030 Silver, then go down and take
a right and follow to that door and enter it. Now go all the way right to get
a Dover Nut. Go back and take the path going down. Go down and then left at
the bottom and follow until you reach a fork. Go down and left to the door.
At the next fork, go right for a Wisdom Cap (for Ronfar), then follow left to
the stairs. Follow to the stairs going back up. Follow to the fork. If you go
left to the stairs, you can follow it to a Vitality Vial. But if you go right
you can continue to the next set of stairs. Follow up and down a few more sets
in the path until you come to a fork that goes either down or right. Go down
for a Thunder Armor (for Hiro), then go right. At the next fork, go down and
follow to a chest with a Thunder Helm (also for Hiro). Take the left path from
that same fork to the stairs.
Eventually you will reach a room with a waterfall. Go right and down the
stairs. Go down and take the first left for a Silver Light, then go back and
continue down. At the fork go left to get the chest and then down to continue.
Take a right at that fork and go into the water to warp you. Go up and take
the door behind the waterfall to get the Earth Crux. Go back into the water
and go left after you warp. Go up at the fork for a chest, then left to
continue. Heal up and save, then go up.

Blue Fiend 6410 24000 9831 6000
Aside from Mutation and Cryo-Blast, the Blue Fiend is relatively easy to beat,
especially now that Jean knows her Karate Magic. Have Hiro use Poe Sword,
Ronfar use Bright Litany, Jean use Haduken, and Lemina use Flame Shot. This
should be enough to deal heavy damage and still keep your party's HP high at
all times. It shouldn't be too hard to kill now.
After you defeat it, go up to the Dragon's Lair and throw the Blue Dragon
Aura into the crystal. The Blue Dragon will appear. The Blue Dragon asks if
Lucia plans to defeat or seal Zophar, because sealing Zophar... well, Lucia
requests that not be known. The Blue Dragon requests that you go south to
awaken the Black Dragon next. He then gives you the Blue Dragon Crest (which
should be given to Jean in exchange for the Shiro Tail). This will allow you
to use Blue Dragon Vigor, which increases the number of attacks you can make
the next turn.
Exit the Blue Dragon Cave.

Board the Destiny and Heal at the Statue. Drive down the ramp and follow the
river east and south. Go under the pass and enter the Marius Zone.
-Marius Zone-
Monsters: Wolf Guard, Demon Wolf, Lizard Guard
Follow the river and you'll eventually stop and see Neo-Vane floating in the
sky. The Neo-Vane fires at the Destiny and it stops completely. You'll have
no choice but to disembark and walk. Follow along west along the mountains and
then north up the ramps until you reach the Zaback Mines.
-Zaback Mines-
Monsters: Boomba Kid
Treasures: Althena's Letter
The Zaback mines are rather easy, and the only monsters you have to worry
about are the Boomba Kids. They will explode when they're flashing if you
don't kill them in time. This place isn't worth much time and attention though.
Just make your way to the left side of the area to the stairs on the first
floor, then make your way right on the 2nd floor. It shouldn't be too hard to
reach these stairs. On the 3rd floor, go down and left until you reach some
steps going up. Follow to a fork going up or down. Up takes you to the next
floor, but if you go directly down you'll find a chest with Althena's Letter.
Give this to Jean in exchange for the Heal Ring. Go back up to the stairs.
On the 4th floor, go up the steps to the right. Cross the bridge to the left
and then go all the way to the bottom. Go right and down to exit the mines.
-Zaback-
The miners say that they are here because they failed the Trial of Borgan.
Anyways, buy Hiro an Onyx Sword at the weapon shop, and an Onyx Armor at the
armor shop. Buy Ronfar, Jean, and Lemina an Onyx Bracelet and sell what you
don't need. Donate 100 Silver to the Statue in order to heal. When you're set,
head to the left part of town and enter the house. Walk onto the transport to
be teleported to Neo Vane.
-Neo-Vane-
Walk up and into the Magic Tester. Ronfar and Jean will not pass the test and
therefore be sent to the mines. Don't worry about them for now and just enter
the city. Neo-Vane is not nearly as beautiful as Vane, but the people here
are very stuck-up anyway. The first thing you'll want to do right now is
buy an Onyx Staff for Lemina, and buy a Hell Spike, Holy Staff, Saint Clothes,
and Eagle Wrap for Ruby to hang onto until you find Ronfar and Jean. At this
point in the game, Ronfar's attacks will not be worth the loss in wisdom, so
keep him with a Holy Staff and let him use it as an item. Anyway, at the
upper part of town is the Neo-Vane Magic Guild, but you can't get into it.
In order to get in, go to the left of it and up to the Neo-Trial Cave.
-Neo-Trial Cave-
Monsters: Pyromaniac, Flyboy, Trickster
Treasures: Ice Robe, Illusion Ring, Spring Water, 970 S., Dover Nut
Ronfar and Jean are in here, and your first order of business is to find them.
From the entrance, go left all the way and you'll soon find Ronfar. He joins,
saying there is an entrance at the bottom of the cave to the Magic Guild. Give
Ronfar the Holy Staff and Saint Clothes. Follow right and down and you'll find
Jean. Give her the Hell Spike and Eagle Wrap. Go back to the first floor. Hug
the upper wall up and right to the top, then left. Take the Ice Robe (for
Lemina). Go back down and right to the stairs just to the right of the
entrance to the cave. Take them and go down until you see a stairway going
down. Take them to a chest with an Illusion Ring. Give it to Ronfar in
exchange for the Dragon Angel Crest (this will allow him to use Magic Swiper,
which will save him when he runs low on Magic). Go back to the top floor and
go left (up will take you to Spring Water) back to the stairs that lead to
where Ronfar and Jean were. Go left from where Jean was and take the stairs.
Go right and up at the fork, left and up then right to the stairs. Make your
way left (shouldn't be hard, as all paths go that way) to the stairs.
Make your way right and down to the bottom for 970 Silver and a Dover Nut.
From there go left to the end then up. Talk to the guy and heal up. Save and
check the door. Lemina will lower the barrier and you can walk through to
the transporter. Take it.
-Neo Vane-
Monsters: BORGAN
Treasures: Silver Light
Go through the prison and up the stairs. Talk to Borgan and him and Lemina
will have their argument. Lemina then threatens to take the Black Dragon
Aura from Borgan. Borgan says he's been waiting to try out his Gravity Bomb
spell, so Lemina and her friends are the perfect test subjects for him.

-Orb x3 1555 -- -- --
When Borgan is stretching his arms out to the side, WATCH OUT! He'll hit you
with the Gravity Bomb he's been talking about, which will do MASSIVE MASSIVE
damage to the party. When this happens, have Hiro use White Dragon Protect
right off the bat to negate the attack. Borgan is surrounded by 3 Orbs; a
healing one (behind him), an attacking one (in front of him) and one that
uses Magic Shield (to his side). Borgan cannot be harmed as long as all 3
orbs are standing. Have Hiro use Poe Sword (or White Dragon Protect), Ronfar
use Bright Litany, Jean use Haduken, and have Lemina use Freeze Trap. Take
out the Healing Orb first, then focus on Borgan and the Magic Shield Orb. If
Hiro runs out of MP for White Dragon Protect, then have Ronfar use Rest Litany
during the turn Borgan uses his Gravity Bomb. If Lemina has over 200 HP, then
you should be fine. Just keep up the attacks and Borgan should soon fall. If
you can beat him, then you will just have beaten arguably the toughest boss
in the game!
After you win, Borgan will hand over the Black Dragon Aura. Lucia says that
Borgan's power was based off the Aura, so Borgan will soon lose his power.
Talk to Borgan (who is out cold). Lemina suggests looking for Miria. Go up
the stairs to the right side and follow left past the stairs to the Silver
Light, then take the stairs. Miria will be there waiting. She says Borgan has
treated her well, but just then, Neo-Vane starts to fall to the ground. Borgan
then comes in and suggests that Lemina work with him to keep the city from
falling, but Lucia comes up with a better idea and uses her powers to cushion
the fall. Borgan cries that he's ruined. Lemina talks to Borgan and says that
it's a new beginning, and if Borgan will denounce his past, he can join the
Magic Guild of Vane. Borgan agrees to it and gives Lemina Borgan's Key,
saying that the door to the Black Dragon Cave is located in the Zaback Mines.
Head back to Zaback and heal at the statue, then back into the mines.
-Zaback Mines-
Go up a floor and go back to where you got Althena's Letter. From that chest,
go up, left and take the first path going up. Use the key on the door and
enter.
-Black Dragon Cave-
Monsters: Pyromaniac, Trickster, Webhead, Zombie, BLACK FIEND
Treasures: 4860 S., Dover Nut x3, Vitality Vial, Onyx Armor, 14460 S.,
Onyx Helm, Silver Light, Plasma Ring, Fabulous Dagger,
Studly Bandanna, Dragon Angel Crest
The Black Dragon Cave is pretty easy to get through. From the entrance, go
down to the bottom and take a right. Take the first path up to 4860 Silver,
and the 2nd path going up to get a Dover Nut. Continue right to the stairs
going down. From here, go up and take the first left. Follow left and down for
a Dover Nut. Go all the way up and all the way right for a Vitality Vial. Go
back left and then down at the fork. Take the first right and then go down
and left to the bottom. At this fork, take a left and take the first path
going up for a chest with an Onyx Armor. Go back down and right and take the
2nd path going up for a chest with 14460 Silver. Go back down and right. Just
follow up to the stairs. On this floor, go down and at the fork take a left.
This leads to an Onyx Helm for Hiro. Follow right and go down when you have
the chance again. Go left for another Dover Nut. Go right and follow all the
way to the door.
A voice will tell you to take a leap of faith. Follow right and all the way
up and left at the top. After you take the Silver Light from the chest, go
left a bit then take the path going down. Take a right and fall down to the
platform below. Fall down the right side and then take one of the right ledges,
which will take you to the Fabulous Dagger. Go up and up the steps, and then
right and down straight. Go left and jump off the ledge. Go left to the end
and then down to the door. Go right to the next door and follow to a Studly
Bandanna (for Ronfar). Go back and from that same door, go right to the next
door. Go up and right to get another Dragon Angel Crest (give it to Lemina,
but don't equip it yet). Go left and up and follow all the way to the door.
Go left to the next door, then go up, right, and down the first path you come
to. Follow to the door, then go left to the next one. You will be back in the
first room where you'll hear the voice about the leap of faith. Fall down the
same ledge to get to the chest and then down the right side again. Fall down
right again and go up the steps, then right all the way. Go down to the door.
Make your way left all the way and you'll soon see a door. Equip Ronfar and
Lemina with the Dragon Angel Crest, heal, and save. Go up and you'll meet the
Black Fiend.
Boss: HP EXP Silver M. EXP
Black Fiend 5800 32000 8000 12000
The Black Fiend can have a few tough attacks, but the Dragon Angel Crest
should weaken his toughest attacks. Have Lemina use Pressure Cooker in the
first round if she has it, then use Ice Arrow. Hiro should use Poe Sword,
Jean should use Haduken, and Ronfar should use Bright Litany. Lucia will help
with Pulse Laser and Spark Cannon. The Black Fiend shouldn't pose much of a
threat.
After that, go into the lair and throw the Black Dragon Aura into the crystal.
The Black Dragon will awaken. The Black Dragon will hint to Althena's plan,
but will say once the Red Dragon is awakened, that all will be revealed. He
then gives you the Black Dragon Crest. I don't recommend equipping this, as
the spell really isn't that valuable and all it does is increase Magic
Endurance. As you leave, Ruby starts to get nervous, thinking that she's not
ready to face her destiny. Before leaving the cave, remember that you get
great M. EXP here. I find it very easy to focus on Health Magic and get it up
to Level 29 (where I suggest you stop). At 29 you will learn the very powerful
Shining Litany. After you learn that, now focus on Lemina's Ice, but don't
worry about beefing that up yet. Exit back to the Zaback Mines and exit back
to the Marius Zone (involves going through it again), then walk back to the
Destiny.

Now that the Destiny is mobile again, you'll be able to cross the sea again.
If you go south you'll end up near Lion's Head. I highly recommend NOT to
go there yet, as the monsters have over 2000 HP and hit very hard. Instead,
head east a bit and you'll see a ramp by Neo-Vane and a tunnel. Go through
the tunnel.
-Minea Sea-
Head east until you reach the town of Raculi.
-Raculi-
Once you enter, Ronfar will mention growing up with Leo and Mauri. Go to the
shop. Buy Hiro an Ice Blade, Jean a Thunder Claw and Goddess Clip, and a
Mystery Tiara for Lemina. Head to Ronfar's home (which is the one with the
old man standing in front of it on the left side). Leo will be there waiting
for you. Ronfar and Leo talk about the "epidemic" that killed everyone except
for Mauri. It appears that Ronfar gave Mauri a potion to keep her alive, but
made her evil. Leo suggests returning Mauri to normal. Leo says that what
Mauri was given was the blood of Zophar and that now she is "cleansing" the
villagers to make them slaves of Zophar. The only way Leo can see to help her
is to awaken the power of the Red Dragon. Leo then leaves and Ronfar talks
about the Aura of Althena, which is in Serak Palace. Lucia suggests going
after it. Exit town.
-Minea Sea-
Monsters: Bat Knight, Grouser
To get to the Serak Palace, you'll have to walk north of Raculi and then
northwest, going up and down a series of ramps until you reach there. The
monsters in the Minea Sea area are worth quite a bit of Magic Exp, so don't
overlook that.
-Serak Palace-
Monsters: Necromancer, Flash Lord, Arrow Fish, Synapse Guard, FIREBIRD
Treasures: Vitality Vial, Silver Light, Tiger Wrap, Refresher Ring,
Holy Water, Angel Ring, Justice Rod, Justice Clothes, Althena's
Tears
If you need healing, donate 1500 Silver to the statue in front of the Tower.
Enter. The first floor doesn't have any monsters, but there are those who have
been "Cleansed" walking around in there. The way to Mauri is blocked, so you
are going to have to take a detour. There is a Vitality Vial to the left side
in a room by the stairs. Take the stairs up. Go to the right and then up into
the room and take those stairs. Go left and into the upper room. Take the
stairs then the Transport. Follow to a Silver Light, then come back and this
time go into the lower room and up the stairs. Go into the upper room and take
the Tiger Wrap from the chest (give it to Jean), then take the Transport to
the next stairs. Follow down a couple of stairs and to the chest with a
Refresher Ring near the Transport. Take it and go up the stairs. From here,
right will take you to a Holy Water, and left will take you to two rooms.
The lower room has an Angel Ring, while the upper room has a Justice Rod,
Justice Clothes (both for Ronfar, but just have him use the Justice Rod as an
item, don't equip it), and in the middle chest is Althena's Tears. Once you
get them, Lucia will use them to try to uncleanse the people. After she does
that, she suggests finding Mauri.
Make your way back to the first floor. Heal at the statue and go up to the
middle room. Inside you will see Leo getting ready to fight her, but Mauri
doesn't know why she's in there. Althena's Tears are working, but they won't
work for long. Ronfar stops Leo from killing her. Talk to Leo and then to
Mauri. Mauri is thankful to Ronfar, but then Zophar's essence returns and
Mauri is possessed again. Ronfar begs Lucia to help him, and Lucia thinks that
if Ronfar enters Mauri's subconscious, that he might be able to save her.
Ronfar, after a discussion with Mauri, enters her subconscious.
-Mauri's Subconscious-
Mauri says that ever wrong move Ronfar makes in there will result in pain for
the rest of the party. Just follow until you reach the forks. There are 3
forks. At the first one, go right. After you decide on a path, the rest of
the party (including Leo) will have to fight.

After you defeat the 3rd one (providing you took the right paths), as Ronfar,
just follow to the end where the real Mauri waits. She doesn't believe that
Ronfar is really there but Ronfar reassures her. They both wake up.
-Serak Palace-
Everybody is there waiting for Mauri and Ronfar to wake up. Leo gets mad at
himself for nearly killing Mauri. Leo then starts to go away, saying that his
powers are of no use to anyone anymore. Leo leaves and Mauri gives Ronfar the
Red Dragon Aura, saying the door to the cave is just up ahead. Go back and
heal at the statue, then enter the door to the Red Dragon Cave.
-Red Dragon Cave-
Monsters: Soul Yanker, Wind Genie, Buzz Boy, RED FIEND
Treasures: Dover Nut x2, Star Light, Angel Tears, Fresh Ring, Flaming Shield,
Phoenix Mail, Flame Robe, Love Pendant,
The Red Dragon Cave is chalk full of EXP and Magic EXP. Take the time to get
Lemina's Ice Magic up to 27 (where she'll learn Ice Lance). Just remember that
these monsters hit hard (especially the Wind Genie). From the entrance, go
down to the bottom then take a left. Go up at the fork to the top then left
to the stairs. This part of the Red Dragon Cave is a little more closed in.
Go left and up, into an area where it splits off 3 ways. To the right is a
chest with a Dover Nut. Take the lower-left path to get the Star Light. Go left
from that chest and up to get the Angel Tears. Go back to the area that splits
off and take the upper-left path to the Dover Nut. Go back down and cut a left
into the hidden area with a large lava pit. Go down from there and follow left
and up. Go right through the hidden path to get the Fresh Ring, then go back
and up and follow left.
You are now in the Lava Room. Make your way up near the lava river and at the
top, go right to the next room. Hug the upper wall right, up, and then left
back to the Lava Room. Now there are two platforms you can ride. Take the
lower one. Go left and down to the next platform and go up and right to the
next room. Take the stairs up. Push each of the orbs to lower the platforms
to block the lava. Go back down to the Lava Room. Cross over to the left and
save. Equip Ronfar and Lemina with the Dragon Angel Crest and restore your
HP and MP. Go up and meet the Red Fiend.

Red Fiend 7425 36000 9000 14000
This is definitely the toughest of the Fiends. Have Hiro use Poe Sword,
Ronfar use Shining Litany, Jean use Haduken, and Lemina use Ice Lance. If
your levels are high you shouldn't have much to worry about, except if the
Red Fiend turns a real bright red, then it can hit you hard with Gatling Flame.
If you see this coming, use White Dragon Protect or have Ronfar use
Tranquil Litany afterwards. The Red Fiend should soon fall (especially if
Hiro is equipped with the Ice Blade).
Go up to the Red Dragon's Lair and throw the Aura into the Crystal... but
this time nothing happens. Lucia tells Ruby that her fear is what's stopping
her from becoming the Red Dragon. Ruby is scared of leaving everyone, but
eventually accepts the power of the Red Dragon. After she becomes her full
size and gives Hiro the Red Dragon Crest, she becomes her smaller self again.
Just have Ruby hang onto the Crest like she does with the black one, as the
Red Dragon Crest allows the caster to use Red Dragon Anger, which does heavy
damage to all enemies... however, for 99 MP, it's not worth the price. Now
leave the lair and go back to the Lava Room.
You're gonna have to walk out of here since the Wings won't work. Go into the
dried up pit and go up and left up the steps. Take the platform back over to
the right and go right to the next area. Go right, down, and left back to the
Lava Room. Now that you're here, there are plenty of treasures that you
couldn't reach before because of the lava. Make your way to the lower part of
the area then left down the steps and up another set. Grab the Flaming Shield
for Hiro. From there, go right back down the steps then up while still in the
dried up area, up the steps to the chest with a Phoenix Mail (again for Hiro,
and keep in mind with this on Hiro can use Revive Magic). Go right and up to
get the Flame Robe (for Lemina), then go down, right, and up for a Love
Pendant, then left for a Pyro Helm (last flame equipment for Hiro).
Go back to the right and make your way back out of the Red Dragon Cave and
return to the Destiny.

m. The Lion and the Dragon
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOTE: This is an OPTIONAL part of the game. It can be VERY hard at your
current level, but it is very doable. You can save this part for later if you
want, but this will be your last chance to go to the Lion's Head and the
Dragon's Nest until after Zophar is defeated. If you wish to skip this part,
scroll down to "n. Return of the Goddess". However, I recommend going just
to get the Snake Ring, Wind Pendant, and Phoenix Ring.
-Dragonship Destiny-
Let's first head to the Lion's Head. To get there, go to Zaback and drive
directly east. You should see a large building that looks like a Lion. This
is Lion's Head. Save and enter.
-Lion's Head-
Monsters: Fiendish Eye, Genetikon
Treasures: Vitality Vial, Star Light, 7836 S., Dover Nut, 8738 S., Angel Ring,
Shiro Tail, Snake Ring, Wind Pendant, Lucky Bandanna, Silver Light
This area is not a good place to level up anything, you're here for treasure.
Don't be afraid to use your big attacks to take down an enemy. Ice magic works
better than Fire Magic here. What I do to make damage as little as possible
is to give Hiro and Jean a Refresher Ring, then put everybody on the top 4
rows of squares with Hiro in front and the rest in way back. This will keep
the Fiendish Eye from doing damage, and it will keep Hiro alive when Genetikon
uses his petrifying attack. If you run out of magic while searching for
treasure, use the White Dragon Wings to get yourself out then come back in
after healing at the Destiny.
Anyways, take a right and make your way up. There is a Vitality Vial, Star
Light, and 7836 Silver in chests in this first floor. At the upper part is
the stairs leading up. Take them to the 2nd floor. In the upper-left part is
a chest with 8738 Silver and below it at the bottom is a Dover Nut. The
stairs is to the lower-right side of the floor. On the 3rd floor at the upper-
left part is an Angel Ring and the stairs are in the middle-left part of the
floor. The stairs on the 4th floor are directly below the stairs you came
from, you just have to go right, down, and left to get to them. At the 5th
floor, go down to the big room.
This room changes its floors often. When you enter, go up and left. Press the
button on the right then go back out. Follow to the next room where you'll get
a Shiro Tail. Press the button on the right again and go out. Follow to the
edge and you'll teleport. Follow and you'll end up at the head of the lion.
In the room up top is a Snake Ring (give it to Ronfar in exchange for the
Illusion Ring). Make your way back down and teleport back to the room where
you got the Shiro Tail. Press the right button and go to the next room. Press
the right button again and go to that room as well. In here is a Lucky
Bandanna (don't bother equipping it). Go back to the previous room and press
the right button. Walk and teleport to the next room where a Silver Light
waits for you. Press the left button and follow to the room with a Wind
Pendant (give it to Hiro to give him an extra attack). Now you have everything
you need here. Warp out.
-Marius Zone-
Dragon's Nest is very hard compared to Lion's Head, but still doable if you
can fight the monsters efficiently. To get to Dragon's Nest head back to
Raculi and go west near the tunnel to the Marius Zone then follow north.
-Dragon's Nest-
Monsters: Doppleganger, Hellgoyle, Banshee Fowl, Grog Snake
Treasures: Silver Dagger, 10203 S., Angel tears., Goddess Pin, Refresher Ring,
Dover Nut, Phoenix Ring
Here you'll want to kill the monsters quick. The monsters don't give much
EXP, but they hit hard. Dopplegangers are copies of your party, and can use
the same skills. Hiro and Jean will pose the most threat as they can use
Poe Sword and Haduken. Just use your skills and finish them quick. If it
becomes too hard, give Hiro the Snake Ring and have him use Dark Sword every
time and he'll finish them off fast (except on the Dopplegangers, as the
best method for them is Battalion Sword and Blue Dragon Chop). Also the
Dopplegangers can be annoying as they can attack before the round even starts.
From the entrance go left for a Silver Dragger, then back right and hug the
upper wall up and left to the stairs. On the lower-right side of this floor
is an Angel Tears, and just above that is 10203 Silver. Above that is the
stairs to the next floor. On this floor go directly down to get a Goddess
Pin. Go up and right and make your way to the stairs in the middle. On the
4th floor, there is a Refresher Ring on the far left side. The stairs are on
the upper-center part of the floor. Just head right to the stairs going to the
outside. Follow left to the inside again. There is a Dover Nut inside the
chest in the upper-right chest. Go down from that chest to the stairs. Go down
and make your way left and up to the stairs. At the upper-right side of this
floor is a door that leads to a Phoenix Ring. After you get it, warp out and
head back to the Destiny.

n. Ghaleon's Second Betrayal and Luna
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Dragonship Destiny-
Heal up here. Now you are ready to head to Pentagulia and finish what you
started. Before doing so however, take the time to build up some levels. To
give you an idea on what I was at and what equipment I owned, here is the
list (any item on the right side of the "/" is an item gained in Lion's Head
or Dragon's Nest, so if you have it, I recommend equipping it):
Hiro: Lv 53, Wind-Lv1, Ice Blade, Flaming Shield, Phoenix Mail, Pyro Helm,
Heat Ring/Wind Pendant, Blue Dragon Crest
Ronfar: Lv 44, Health-Lv29, Chance-Lv16, Holy Staff, Onyx Bracelet,
Justice Clothes, Studly Bandanna, Tri-Ring, Illusion Ring/Snake Ring
Jean: Lv 45, Dance-Lv16, Thunder Claw, Onyx Bracelet, Tiger Wrap, Goddess Clip,
White Dragon Crest, Althena's Letter/Goddess Pin
Lemina: Lv 42, Flame-Lv29, Ice-Lv28, Onyx Staff, Onyx Bracelet, Flame Robe,
Mystery Tiara, Heal Ring, Fresh Ring/Phoenix Ring
If you are waiting to go to Lion's Head and Dragon's Nest, it's not a problem.
Chances are you wouldn't have gained any levels there anyway, but if you've
taken my advice throughout the game, you should find yourself close to those
levels. Now you have to go to Pentagulia. To get there, drive the Destiny to
the ramp into the sea northeast of Raculi and start driving north (you'll
see that you're very close to Dalton, but don't go there). Head north until
you see Azado again, then head west and follow the river up to Pentagulia.
Lucia suggests using the power of the Dragons to break the Seal on the
Goddess Tower. However, before that happens, Ghaleon appears on the Destiny,
saying that Zophar isn't fully recovered yet, and that it's his job to create
a "crisis". He says his plans are to destroy the world with Zophar, then to
create a new one once the impurities are removed. He turns Hiro into an Ice
Crystal. He says that he can change Hiro back if Lucia were to give him the
secret to the Blue Tower's true power. Before leaving, Ghaleon gives Lucia a
little choice; go to Pentagulia and finish the mission, or return to the Blue
Spire and save Hiro.
Lucia debates whether it is worth saving Hiro or not. She tells Ronfar to
continue for Pentagulia, but Ronfar refuses to do so. Ruby plays a little
guilt trip on her. Talk to Ronfar again and he says he's not going to let
Hiro die. He's going to take him to Dalton and go to the Blue Spire himself.
Lucia tries to explain Zophar's intentions of taking the power of Althena to
become the most powerful being in the universe. She takes control of the
Destiny and starts for Pentagulia, but Ruby makes one final act and convinces
Lucia to go to the Blue Spire to save Hiro.
Drive back to Dalton and enter the ramp. Drive east back to the Blue Spire.
-Blue Spire-
You control Lucia now (though still not in battle). If you die here throw your
whole system away because you're wasting your time. The monsters haven't
changed, so just make your way straight up into the tower. She removes the
seal on the first floor where she has to take Hiro. Go up to the room where
a large orb hovers. This orb has been collecting magic for thousands of years
in order to restore the Blue Star, which is why Lucia is even alive. Lucia
uses the magic of the orb to revive Hiro. Make your way back and then Nall
will show up, saying that the Dragons are waiting near Pentagulia. You will
then automatically go towards Pentagulia automatically.
-Katarina Zone-
Everybody believes that it's too late, but Lucia calls for the Dragons to use
their power and destroy Pentagulia and the seal.
-Pentagulia-
Walk up to the top of Pentagulia and enter the door.
-Goddess Tower-
Monsters: Reflector, FAKE ALTHENA
Treasures: Fury Bow, Safety Helm, Immortal Bow, Justice Bandanna, Dover Nut,
Aura Bracelet, Psycho Bracelet, Kaiser Knuckle, Silver Light,
The Fake Althena is there waiting and panicking. Save and follow her into the
tower. She'll beg and plead to Zophar to give her power. Zophar gives her the
power and demands that she destroy the opposers.
Boss: HP EXP Silver M. EXP

-Cane 3000 -- -- --
-Arm 3000 -- -- --
-Head x2 3000 -- -- --
This battle can be time consuming and painful if not prepared. First things
first, get rid of the Cane. Have Hiro use Poe Sword on it, along with Ronfar's
Shining Litany, Jean's Haduken, and Lemina's Ice Lance. After the Cane is
gone (since it does the most damage), focus on the main body, but instead of
using your toughest spells, use your EZ spells. Have Hiro use Sybillium Sword,
Ronfar use Shining Litany, Jean use Comet Tail, and Lemina use Burning Rage.
After a while you should be able to fall her.
After she's defeated Lucia will suggest going to Althena's Chamber right off
the bat. The tower is real simple to navigate, and the only monsters are
Reflectors (which I suggest not using Magic on). On the upper-right part of
the floor is a Fury Bow, and the stairs are on the upper-left side. On the
lower-left side of this floor is a Safety Helm and in the upper-right side
is an Immortal Bow. Take the stairs on the lower-right side. The upper-left
side of this floor has a Justice Bandanna (for Ronfar) and on the upper-right
side is a chest with a Dover Nut inside. Take the stairs at the lower-left
part. On this floor is an Aura Bracelet on the upper-left side (give it to
Jean so she can use Black Storm) and a Psycho Bracelet on the lower-right side
(give it to Lemina and she'll learn Loki Magic). The stairs are on the
upper-right side. On this floor, there is a Kaiser Knuckle on the lower-right
side (give it to Jean, though she'll lose an attack, her power will go through
the roof). Also, on the lower-left side is a Silver Light, and in the
upper-left side is a Dragon Staff (give it to Lemina, but don't equip it, as
it will drop her Wisdom, but the magic it uses is pretty powerful). Save and
enter the stairs in the center.
As you enter, your HP and MP will be restored. Go up and Nall of all people
will be waiting. Nall, sounding sad, says that there is something he must
show Lucia. Talk to Nall and he'll show a hologram of Luna, aka the Goddess
Althena. Nall says to listen and says that his promise to Luna has been
fulfilled, remembering his days with Alex and company. Nall leaves and Luna
speaks. She tells the story of how Zophar destroyed the Blue Star and how
she moved the surviving humans to Lunar so that they may live. She gave up
her immortality to be human, and thus was reborn many times. However, when
she was reborn as Luna she found true love and was never reborn again after
that. She then says that she believes that the only way to defeat Zophar is
to rely on the human spirit and hope. However, Lucia doesn't believe it and
will take Althena's power as her own, draining everybody of their magic (oh
great, she takes your magic power). She disappears, saying that Zophar will
not be able to stand up against the power... but neither will the world.
Now you have to make your way to the bottom without magic. Shouldn't be too
hard, but you might want to give Lemina the Immortal Bow and Ronfar the
Justice Rod so that they can attack as well. Keep in mind you won't gain any
EXP or Silver while going back down. Before leaving the tower, give everybody
a few Dover Nuts. Also, re-equip Lemina with the Onyx Staff and Ronfar with
the Holy Staff.
-Pentagulia-
As you make it back to the Destiny, Zophar shows up over Pentagulia. Board
the Destiny and drive off. However, Zophar dries up the water around, making
escape impossible. Lucia then shows up to face Zophar. Zophar tempts Lucia to
use Althena's Power to destroy him and the rest of the world. Lucia hesitates
but uses it anyway, but to no avail. Zophar then fires a shot at the Destiny,
to which Lucia protects. However, Zophar then captures Lucia in a crystal.
Using her last bit of power, she warps the party and the Destiny to Vane.
Zophar afterwards shows his true form as he finally harnessed Althena's Power.
-Vane-
Monsters: GHALEON
Hiro will be on top of the Magic Guild, where three days have passed. Ruby
suggests that Hiro goes to see Miria. She and Borgan are in the main hall in
the Guild. Miria asks Hiro to find Lemina, but also says that Borgan has a
heart of gold and that Lemina will like him if she gives him a chance. Borgan
says that since Althena was the source of all magic, and now that Zophar has
it, there is none left and that nobody has any now. Exit the guild and go
above it to the tower where Lemina is standing. Talk to her then go to the
Library where Mauri and Ronfar are waiting. Ronfar still thinks they can
defeat Zophar if they try. Go to the Cave of Trial and talk to Jean and Lunn,
who are practicing their karate. Go back to the guild and talk to Miria. She
says that Hiro must not lose faith in himself. She also says to go to the
roof to help out one last person. It's Leo! Talk to him and he will say that
he cannot stand by and let this happen, so he joins your party.
As you're about to leave the roof, Ghaleon shows up, saying that the world is
waiting for Zophar's execution. He says that that fate is too good for Hiro,
so that he will kill Hiro himself. Ghaleon goes on to say that Lucia calls
for Hiro in her sleep. He then disappears, threatening to kill everybody in
Vane. Exit the guild and Ghaleon will be there threatening Ronfar, Jean,
Lemina, and Leo. Ghaleon hits everybody with his lightning, but everybody gets
back up.
Boss: HP EXP Silver M. EXP
Ghaleon 7000 -- -- --
You have no magic still, so this fight will be very hard to start with. And
what is worse is that Ghaleon gets the first strike. All you can do is attack
normally first. Ghaleon can hit pretty hard with his magic, so use a Dover
Nut if you find yourself low on HP. Don't worry if anybody dies, just keep
attacking.
After he's had about 7000 HP of damage done to him, the fight will
stop. Hiro and the rest will gain their magic powers back and be fully
restored. Now the real fight begins.
Boss: HP EXP Silver M. EXP
Ghaleon 9000 -- -- --
Ghaleon will gain a 2nd wind and hit harder now, especially now that he'll use
use Schitzo Blade. When he's set to use this, he'll have his sword on his
shoulder and be gathering energy. This attack will instantly kill someone,
so have either Ronfar, Lemina, or Hiro ready to use Revive Magic (providing
it works). Have Hiro use Poe Sword, Ronfar use Tranquil Litany when needed
(Shining Litany will not work against Ghaleon), Jean use Haduken, Lemina use
Power Drive on Hiro, then use Flame Bomb, and have Leo use Flash Blade. If
Ghaleon hits you with his Dragon Cannon, have Ronfar use Tranquil Litany soon
after (and revive Lemina if she has fallen). Just keep up the attacks and
Ghaleon will soon fall.
Ghaleon will wonder why Hiro spared his life, and Hiro will say that it's
because Ghaleon spared theirs. Hiro saw it the whole time, that Ghaleon was
helping them, but under the cover of Zophar's pawn. Ghaleon says that he tried
to make up for the sins in his past by helping Hiro. Hiro asks Ghaleon to join
the fight, but Ghaleon says he cannot, as Zophar's power is leaving him.
Ghaleon gives Hiro his sword and wishes him luck.
Before talking to Ghaleon again, this is your last change to stock up on items.
Sell what you don't need and stock everybody up with Dover Nuts and Silver
Lights. Make sure you have this for equipment.
Hiro: Ghaleon's Sword, Flaming Shield, Phoenix Mail, Pyro Helm,
Heat Ring/Wind Pendant, Blue Dragon Crest
Ronfar: Holy Staff, Onyx Bracelet, Justice Clothes, Justice Bandanna,
Tri-Ring, Illusion Ring/Snake Ring
Jean: Kaiser Knuckle, Aura Bracelet, Tiger Wrap, Goddess Clip,
White Dragon Crest, Althena's Letter/Goddess Pin
Lemina: Onyx Staff, Psycho Bracelet, Flame Robe, Mystery Tiara, Heal Ring,
Fresh Ring/Phoenix Ring
Leo: Blood Saber, Onyx Shield, Onyx Armor, Onyx Helm, Red Dragon Crest,
Heat Ring
Give everybody at least 6 Dover Nuts, 3 Silver Lights, and 1 Angel Tears. Then
load Ruby up with Silver Lights, Dover Nuts, and a couple of Angel Tears.
Also now is a good time to talk about Tactics and Order. I recommend the
3-2 formation (3 in front, 2 in back, close together but not directly behind
one another). Put Hiro front and center, Ronfar above him one and back two,
Jean 2 above Hiro, Lemina 2 below Ronfar, and Leo 2 below Hiro. Also, under
Memory and Tact A, have Hiro, Jean, and Leo attack with Ronfar using the
Justice Rod and Lemina using the Dragon Staff.
Once you are ready, talk to Ghaleon again. He will say that the only way to
defeat Zophar is to strip him of Althena's Power, and to do that Lucia has to
be destroyed. Say that there must be another way. Everybody will say their
piece and then leave on the Destiny towards Zophar's Domain. As they drive
off, Ghaleon talks to himself and asks Dyne if he's watching. Ghaleon then
fades off into nothingness and tells Hiro to fight well and believe in his
friends.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
o. The Greatest Battle
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Zophar's Domain-
Monsters: Laser Boy, Dark Sorcerer, Magic Hat, Gorgonka, Cannon Angel,
Power Zappyr, Phantom, Velma&Louiez, WHITE FIEND, BLUE FIEND,
BLACK FIEND, RED FIEND, ZOPHAR, MASTER ZOPHAR, OMNI-ZOPHAR
Treasures: Storm Shield, Immortal Robe, King's Mail, Angel Ring, Magic Rod,
Angel Armor, Justice Bracelet, Silver Light x2, Dragon Helm,
Immortal Wrap, Gamblin' Suit
At any time you can exit from the domain and heal at the Destiny. Go up and
Lucia will appear before them, bound by Zophar's power. She thinks that it is
too late to stop Zophar, unless Althena was right in believing that humanity
can stop him. Before leaving, she gives Hiro the Goddess Crest (give it to Leo
in exchange for the Heat Ring). Also, since you can Wing out and heal at the
Destiny, now would be a good time to finish off leveling your Health, Flame,
and Ice Magics.
Upon entering the building, go to the far right side and enter the door. Grab
the Storm Shield in the chest. Give it to Hiro and give the Flaming Shield to
Leo. Go up the stairs and grab the Immortal Robe for Lemina. Return down to
the main entrance to Zophar's Domain and take the door in the middle this
time. Go up to the chest up past the 2nd door for a King's Mail (for Leo).
There is a stairway to the left and right of the chest. Take the stairs to the
left and follow to the door. Follow until the path splits off again to left
and right. Take the right one and follow until you reach an Angel Ring. Keep
going through many doors until you come to a button. Press that button you
will fall down into the room where you got the Storm Shield. Go back out and
back to where the last path split, this time take a left. Follow through a
few doors until you reach a button. Push it and make your way back to the
entrance area. Heal at the Destiny if you need to, but once back in, go to the
far left side and take the newly revealed door. Take the teleport and go up
to the next door. Take the Magic Rod from the chest and give it to Ronfar. Go
up to the stairs.
When you get to Zophar's Tower, go down and left to the chest with an Angel
Armor inside (don't equip it though). Take the stairs at the lower-right side.
Now go to the stairs on the lower-left side. Take the Immortal Wrap from the
chest and give it to Jean. Go down to the door and take a left. Take the
chute going up and press the White Button. Go back down the chute and back
right to the door. Take the stairs back up and take the next stairs at the
upper-left side. Go down and take the stairs on the lower-left side. Grab the
Silver Light. Go back up the stairs and to the stairs in the upper-left side.
Take the upper-right stairs this time, then the lower-right ones. Grab the
Gamblin' Suit from the chest. Give it to Ronfar and make your way down to the
bottom floor (where you got the Angel Armor). Go out the door and fall down
to solid ground. Go right from there and press the Black Button, then go back
left and up the chute to reach the Blue Button. Press it and go right to the
door to the inner part. Take the upper-left stairway down a floor and grab
the Justice Bracelet for Ronfar, then go down the lower-left stairs. Take the
Silver Light from the chest and go out the door. Go left and up the chute to
the Red Button. Go back down the chute and back right to the door. Go back
up the stairs and up back to the next stairs. Go up the stairs in the center
and go down out the door. Follow right to the chute, then left to 3 more
chutes. Go right to the door. Grab the Dragon Helm (for Hiro, give the Pyro
Helm to Leo). Go down the stairs. Take the warp.
Now you are at Zophar's Pinnacle. No monsters here, but in each of the four
corners is one of the Dragon Fiends. Go to the bottom-left corner first.
Boss: HP EXP Silver M. EXP
White Fiend 5500 25000 0 12800
This fight really isn't too hard. You don't even have to worry about the
Dragon Angel Crests here. Have Hiro use Poe Sword, Ronfar use Shining Litany,
Jean use Haduken, Lemina use Flame Bomb, and Leo use Flash Blade. 2 or 3
rounds should finish off the White Fiend
Now go to the bottom-right corner.
Boss: HP EXP Silver M. EXP
Blue Fiend 6410 44755 0 14745
Really not much harder, except Mutation can take out Lemina. Just use the
same strategy. Hiro use Poe Sword, Ronfar use Shining Litany, Jean use
Haduken, Lemina use Flame Bomb, and Leo use Flash Blade. 4 or 5 rounds tops.
Now onto the upper-left corner.
Boss: HP EXP Silver M. EXP
Black Fiend 8500 8200 0 8202
A bit trickier than the first two, Lemina's spells won't help much. Have Hiro
use Poe Sword, Ronfar use Shining Litany, Jean use Haduken, Lemina use Power
Drive on Hiro, and Leo use Flash Blade. This combo should have Hiro inflict
nearly 1000 HP damage with Poe Sword each shot. Shouldn't take too long to
kill.
Now for the upper-right corner.
Boss: HP EXP Silver M. EXP
Red Fiend 7425 4380 0 4378
Tough but still not too bad. Have Hiro use Poe Sword, Ronfar use Shining
Litany, Jean use Haduken, Lemina use Ice Lance, and Leo use Flash Blade. Ice
Lance will do major damage to the Red Fiend. Watch out for its flame attacks
as it can take anyone out quick. Have Ronfar respond with Tranquil Litany in
this case. 4 or 5 rounds should finish it.
Heal up and restore your magic with Silver Lights (Ruby's stock). Enter the
warp by the stones in the middle. Make your way up to the top where Zophar
awaits. Lucia is there hanging by her arms. Zophar says that it is too late
to stop him, saying "You will regret coming here for the rest of your lives,
which should be about three minutes."
Boss: HP EXP Silver M. EXP
Zophar 10000 -- -- --
This is it! Time to show them what you're made out of. Zophar will start the
battle off with a pre-emptive strike. Zophar hits pretty hard, no matter what
attacks he uses. Have Ronfar ready with Tranquil Litany at all times, and
if he runs low on MP, have Lemina use a Silver Light on him. Don't try to use
Shining Litany on him, as it won't work. A great strategy here is to have
Hiro use Blue Dragon Vigor and then attack the next round. Mixed with a Power
Drive from Lemina, he should pull about 200 HP an attack, and if you're
lucky, he'll pull off 9 attacks, so one turn he can do 1800 HP damage to him.
But you have to do it every other turn, and it can be consuming on HP, so if
you want to use Poe Sword go ahead. Have Ronfar use Tranquil Litany at ALL
times, even if it isn't needed. Jean should just use Haduken for this fight.
Lemina should use Power Drive on Hiro and Leo, then use Magic Shield. Leo
should use Flash Blade. Keep up your HP and Zophar should fall easily.
"He wasn't that tough, I mean, Borgan was way tougher, don't you think?" Lol,
if you're anything like me you'd probably agree with Ruby there. Jean however
thinks that Zophar let them win. However, as Ruby puts it... "He's baaaaaack!"
Zophar is back and "plays his trump card", taking the power of Lucia and
Althena and making it his own.
Boss: HP EXP Silver M. EXP
Master Zophar -- -- -- --
-Barriers x2 800 -- -- --
There is no way to hurt Master Zophar here. You can attack the barriers but
it won't do you any good as they will just reappear. Have Ronfar build your
HP back up as Master Zophar will now use all of Lucia's spells. Just keep
fighting round after round and listen to what Lucia has to say, about how
she should have believed Althena and trusted in the power of the humans. After
6 rounds or so, Lucia will release her restraints and heal the party
completely, saying that she now believes that the power of humanity is the
key.
Boss: HP EXP Silver M. EXP
Omni-Zophar 10000 -- -- --
-Arm x2 10000 -- -- --
If you've done everything I've suggested so far, and equipped everyone with
what I suggested, this battle shouldn't last too long. Have Hiro use Blue
Dragon Vigor, followed by Ronfar using Pressure Cooker on the head of Zophar
to lower its level. Jean and Lemina should support Hiro with Power Drive. Next
round have Hiro attack the head, Ronfar use Tranquil Litany, Jean use Haduken
on the head, Lemina cast Magic Shield, and Leo use Flash Blade on the head.
Whatever you do, do NOT worry about the arms. They have 10000 HP a piece and
will take you a LONG time to kill them. Hiro will do a LOT of critical hits
on Omni-Zophar if everything went right, Omni-Zophar should die within 4-5
rounds. If Blue Dragon Vigor failed, have Hiro use it again along with Jean
and Lemina boosting his power with Power Drive. Also, if a black circle
appears on the floor, have anyone near it use the Defend command, as if anyone
is caught in it after a turn or two, he will use Hell Wave, which will do
upwards of 600 HP damage to anyone caught in it.
After Zophar is defeated, Lucia will fall to the ground. Hiro helps her up but
it seems Zophar still doesn't know the meaning of defeat.
Boss: HP EXP Silver M. EXP
Zophar 3500 -- -- --
You really can't lose this battle. However, you have to face this battle with
Hiro and Lucia alone. No real biggie. Just have Hiro use Poe Sword for a few
rounds and then Lucia will cast Plasma Rain as Hiro uses Poe Sword to deliver
the finishing blow. Zophar spews a bunch of words but this time dies for real.
Everybody runs to Hiro and Lucia and the scene then cuts to Vane.
-Vane-
To your right is Lemina, Jean, Leo, Ronfar, and Nall. Ronfar will go on about
he's the world's first Playboy/Hero (well, 2nd if you count Kyle from the
first Lunar). Nall will invite Ruby to go with him to Taben's Peak, and she
asks Hiro if it's ok. Say it is and Ruby will leave, but not before Nall gives
Hiro a letter from... Luna? Luna says in the letter that she saw the day when
Hiro would come and save the world but wouldn't be alive to see it. She asks
Hiro to free her from her solitude on the Blue Star. Nall says Lucia went into
the Guild. Head to the roof and talk to Lucia. Lucia will agree to go with
Hiro to Gwyn's house. Talk to everybody again and then Ruby. Everybody will
say their goodbyes and Hiro will take Lucia to the Destiny. Watch the Destiny
drive as Lucia's Theme is sung. Lucia asks if they can detour to the Blue
Spire.
-Blue Spire-
Hiro and Lucia walk up to the top of the Blue Spire, where Lucia says her
goodbyes to Hiro. Hiro begs her not to leave, but Lucia, with tears in her
eyes, says that she will always love Hiro, but still has a destiny of her
own to fulfill. She leaves, dropping her Pendant, which Hiro picks up, saying
he'll find a way to get to her, as Luna's letter instructed.
-Dragonship Destiny-
Ruby shows up and tries to stop Hiro from going, but Hiro is set for his
next adventure. The Credits roll as the Eternal Blue theme plays and the game
ends.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
p. Path to the Blue Star
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Restart the game and choose "Epilogue" from the Continue menu to play this
2nd part.
-Hiro's House-
As you start, Gwyn will say he knows a way to get to the Blue Star. He thinks
that if you get to the Crystal on top of the Star Dragon's Tower, you can
get there... however, you need to use the same technique used to get into the
Blue Spire, meaning you need two eye jewels. Well, you know one of them is in
the Dragon Ruins, but where is the other one? Exit the house to the Salyan
Desert.
-Salyan Desert-
You will notice that Hiro still has the Destiny (of course). Board it and
start to drive, but where shall we go to first? Well, how about Taben's
Peak?
-Taben's Peak-
Go to the top of the peak and talk to Nall. He'll give you Althena's Sword
to help in the quest to the Blue Star. YAY! Anyways, now why don't we try
to gain some Exp now? Remember the time I asked you when Hiro was alone to
fight Ice Mongrels? Well, time to do so again, only this time on the Ice
Continent where the White Dragon Cave was. Go back to the Destiny and drive
west from Taben's Peak
-Katarina Zone-
Hiro will gain a level for every Ice Mongrel he kills, and since he's alone,
they won't run away so often, and he'll get all the EXP for himself. However,
at a certain point the EXP he needs to gain a level will be around 65000,
which is what Ice Mongrels give. However, keep in mind the glitch in the game,
that once you obtain over 65535 Exp, the "Exp Counter" will reset itself.
So if you kill an Ice Mongrel along with 3 Ice Pups, you won't get the 65K
exp from the Mongrel.
Now, why do this? Well, when Leo joins the party he will be at the higher
level, which is always a bonus. Plus, the next couple of places you're
going you could use the extra power. And you can actually take the time to
Complete every Magic type if you want to with all the Mag. Exp you'll get. The
only downside is when you get up there in levels, it will take more Magic Exp.
to save your game. However, if you make it to Level 99, Hiro will be given
an extra attack.
Now that you've taken time to buff up Hiro, time to get the rest of your
party. The closest place to go right now is to Vane, so drive there.
-Vane-
Lemina is in the Magic Guild. She will join you for a "price" (which she does
not charge anyway, it was just a test). Next take the Destiny and drive south
to Raculi.
-Raculi-
Head to Ronfar's house and talk to Ronfar. He will join the party to help
Hiro find Lucia for the sake of true love. Head back to the Destiny and drive
north to the ramp near Azado, then east past Nota to the Carnival.
-Carnival-
Go to the upper area of the Carnival and Jean will be there in her dancer's
gown. Ask her to join and she'll put on her Karate garbs and join the party.
This leaves just one person to join. To do that, drive south to the Mystic
Ruins.
-Mystic Ruins-
Talk to the fairies again and they'll still talk about Ghaleon (and it appears
that he was an Abba fan). They also say that Ghaleon told them about his plan
to deceive Zophar to make up for his past mistakes. Make your way to the top
of the Mystic Ruins and you'll see Leo there. He'll offer to join, so take
him up on his offer. Now make your way back out.
(Note that Leo may or may not be at the same Level Hiro is at now. This may
be another glitch, but I found that if you save and re-start the game, Leo
will be at the same Level Hiro is at, which hopefully is 99).
-Madoria Plains-
There are a couple things to do before continuing this quest. First off,
remember the cave just to the northeast of the town Takkar? (Secret Room #2).
Well, head back there.
-Secret Room #2-
Treasures: Mystra Bracelet
Didn't you open all these chests? Well, the middle one has something in it
again. This holds the Mystra Bracelet for Lemina, which will halve the cost
of magic that Lemina uses. Head back to the Destiny and drive to Lion's
Head.
-Lion's Head-
Treasures: Dimension Ring
If you didn't go to the Lion's Head before, it is just south of Zaback. Also,
if you didn't go here, I suggest reading "m. The Lion and the Dragon" first.
Go to the room where you have to press buttons to make the floor change shape.
Go to the first room and press the right button. Go to the next room and
press the right button again. Follow to the edge to warp over. Take the door
to the outside, then go back to the previous room. Press the right button,
go to the next room, press the right button again, then go to the next room.
This is the room where the Lucky Bandanna was. If you've been here before and
got the Lucky Bandanna, the chest will be closed again and will contain the
Dimension Ring. Give it to Hiro in exchange for the Wind Pendant (this item
gives 2 extra attacks instead of 1 like the Wind Pendant). Give the Wind
Pendant to Jean. Warp out and drive the Destiny back to Minea Sea and go back
to the Dragon's Nest.
-Dragon's Nest-
Treasures: Lucia's Tear
Again, if you didn't go here in the normal quest, read "m. The Lion and the
Dragon" first. Here you want to make your way to the bottom where the Phoenix
Ring was. The chest will be closed again and will contain Lucia's Tear. Give
it to Hiro (so that he has the Dimension Ring and Lucia's Tear equipped, but
hold onto the Blue Dragon Crest). Lucia's Tear is an accessory that when you
attack a monster, 1/2 of the damage will carry over to all other monsters.
This makes for a VERY quick battle for the rest of the game.
-Minea Sea-
Now that you got the treasures from here, you can continue. First head back
to Hiro's House and then west back to the Dragon Ruins, where you started your
game.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
q. The Eyes of the Star Dragon
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Dragon Ruins-
Monsters: Fire Elemental, Blood Lord, Cannon Thug, Decepticon, DOPPLEGANGER
Treasures: Dragon Armor, Dragon Shield, Left Dragon Eye, Life Bracelet,
Shaman Staff
Make your way back up and you'll notice that the boulder that was blocking the
way to the Ruins is now gone. Go inside. The monsters shouldn't be a problem
to Hiro or Leo. From the entrance, go up to the very top then right to the
stairs. Now head left from the stairs until you see the next set of stairs.
Make your way to them. Go down and right and back up to the top. Go right and
down into the room with the weak floor. Make your way to the bottom and then
left to the stairs. Take the path going up and follow to the stairs going up
on this floor. On this floor, take the path going left to get the Dragon
Armor (for Hiro). Take the right path now and follow to the stairs going up.
Now make your way down and left then back up while going left to the stairs.
Go right to the fork then up to the stairs, which leads to the Dragon Shield
for Hiro (give Leo the Storm Shield). Go back down the stairs and then down
to the bottom. Follow right and up to the stairs. Go down and take a left.
Enter the small door and Hiro will hang down from the rope and get the Left
Dragon Eye. When you return, go down and left to the stairs. Take the Life
Bracelet for Ronfar (though the Justice Bracelet is better for him because
it allows him to use Magic Swiper). Take the stairs back and go back to the
door that took you to the Left Dragon Eye. Go left and up to the stairs.
Follow to the big room in the middle.
Boss: HP EXP Silver M. EXP
Doppleganger x5 ** 9482 5386 9482
You will now have to fight a carbon-copy of your party. They each have about
5x the HP each of your characters have, so it could take a while. If Hiro
has the Dimension Ring and Lucia's Tear, just have him attack the Doppleganger
Hiro while Ronfar uses Shining Litany, Jean uses Blue Dragon Chop, Lemina uses
Crematorium, and Leo attacks the Doppleganger Hiro as well. You want to take
out Hiro ASAP as he can use Poe Sword which can take anybody in the party out
in one shot. Doppleganger Leo won't hurt so much but he'll take just as long
to kill as Hiro. Just keep up the attacks and they will fall, leaving you with
a LOT of Exp and Magic Exp.
In the upper-right corner of this room is a Shaman Staff. Equip it on Lemina
and get out of the Dragon Ruins.
-Salyan Desert-
Now you'll have to drive back to the Ice Continent again.
-Katarina Zone-
Go up towards the White Dragon Cave and... hello? What's this we see? You
might notice a tower coming out of the ground that wasn't there before. This
is the Sunken Tower, where your next destination is.
-Sunken Tower-
Monsters: Xevian, Blood Lord, Hell Raiser, Cannon Thug, PHANTOM SENTRY
Treasures: Robe of Eyes, Spiked Jacket, Goddess Bracelet, Flame Fist,
Right Dragon Eye
The monsters aren't much harder then they were in the Dragon Ruins. The
tricky part to this is that each floor looks very identical, so it may make
you think you've already been to this floor if you aren't paying attention.
From the entrance, go left to the stairs. Then go right to the steps. Go left
to the steps then go right and take the first set of stairs you come to. Go
left and take the stairs. This time, go down through the door. Take a right
and up to the stairs going back up, then go right to the next set of stairs.
Follow left and right until you get to the 5th floor. Go left to the stairs
but instead of going up them, go down through the door and then left and up
to the stairs. Follow down and right to the next set of stairs, then left
and up to the next set. On the 2nd floor, if you go directly down from the
stairs you'll enter Secret Room #1.
-secret Room #1-
Treasures: Silver Sharion
There is only one chest here and it contains the Silver Sharion for Leo. Take
the door back to the Sunken Tower.
-Sunken Tower-
Take the stairs and make your way back to the 5th Floor. Go back through the
door and take the stairs going up, then right to the next stairs. On the 7th
Floor go down through the door. Go right and then up. Take the stairs to the
right. Go down to the door and take the stairs. Take the stairs to the left
and grab the Robe of Eyes for Lemina. Go back up the stairs and then down
to the door. Follow left to the stairs and then right to the next set. Go
left and up to the door. Go left to the stairs. Grab the Spiked Jacket and
Goddess Bracelet from the chests here (both for Jean). Now backtrack a bit
back up to the 7th floor. Re-equip Hiro with the Blue Dragon Crest in place
of Lucia's Tear. From the stairs, go left until a voice calls to you, saying
he cannot let you take and open the Star Dragon Tower, that there cannot be
any travel to the Blue Star until the right time.
Boss: HP EXP Silver M. EXP
Phantom Sentry 11000 65532 4106 16394
He's back! And tougher than he was when you fought him at Bandit Butte.
He will hit hard and often, so have Ronfar ready with Tranquil Litany. When
the Phantom Sentry is spinning his sword, no attacks can harm him. Take this
time to heal and to have Hiro use Blue Dragon Vigor along with Lemina casting
Power Drive on Jean. On any other turn that the Phantom Sentry isn't spinning
his sword, have Hiro attack, Ronfar use Shining Litany, Jean use Haduken,
Lemina use Power Drive on Jean, and Leo attack. If done right, Hiro should
do upwards of 15 attacks in one turn. Don't worry if everyone else dies, Hiro
and Leo should survive easily in this fight and you shouldn't have much to
worry about. After 11000 HP, he will retreat.
After the battle, the Phantom Sentry will warn that this is not the last time
they will cross paths. Take the Right Dragon Eye from the dragon head. Go
left and down to get the Flame Fist. It's not an equipable item as the name
might suggest, but it does cast Plasma Shock. Exit and make your way to the
town of Dalton.
-Salyan Desert-
Drive your way north then east towards the Illusion Woods, but instead of
heading off north, keep going east. Disembark the Destiny and walk north a
bit until you see the Star Tower.
-Star Tower-
Monsters: Blood Lord, Hell Raiser, Cannon Thug, STAR SENTRY
Put the Eyes into the Dragon's Head and it will open up. Enter and the Star
Dragon's voice will sound to you. He warns you that only the strong will
survive. Go up the stairs and follow up many floors. It's very straightforward
to get to the 7th floor. Before going any further, make sure Hiro has the
Dimension Ring and Blue Dragon Crest equipped. Go up and the Star Dragon will
talk again. He will say that the tower is the only link from Lunar to the
Blue Star. He says there are many years until the Blue Star can be inhabited
again and he won't let anyone go. Use either answer. Hiro will claim he can
help Lucia revive the Blue Star. The Star Dragon then asks that Hiro test his
power.
Boss: HP EXP Silver M. EXP
Star Sentry 6000 -- -- --
The Star Sentry will eventually appear and open with a pre-emptive attack on
Hiro. This is a one-on-one fight. However, this battle is extremely easy if
you leveled up Hiro, have the Dimension Ring, and the Blue Dragon Crest. Four
turns is all you need. Cast Blue Dragon Vigor then attack. If by some small
chance you need to heal, use Althena's Sword as an item. However, at level
99, Hiro should have no problem destroying the Star Sentry.
After you win, the Star Dragon will let Hiro go to the Blue Star. Go up the
stairs. Go up and talk to everybody. They all say their goodbyes to Hiro and
wish him well. Go up and touch the Crystal and you're on your way. Watch the
ending and enjoy it! After all that, you had better enjoy!
After the credits end, if you wait long enough, you'll hear a series of
pretty funny outtakes.

IX. Tips
===============================================================================
-Lemina's True Power-
Take my advice; never EVER let Lemina carry a Bow unless specified early. All
staves in the game that she can use can be used as an item. If you equip her
with a staff, her Wisdom will go up, and if you use the staff every time as
an item, she can also do damage as well.
-Easy Experience-
Ice Mongrels and Doom Riggers carry a LOT of EXP... if you can defeat them.
However, it is more important that you level up Hiro, as Leo will be at the
same level when he joins. After you defeat the Assassins and return to Taben's
Peak, Hiro will be alone. Go down and fight Ice Mongrels (they won't run so
often because they aren't outnumbered) and use Poe Sword. The Ice Mongrels
near the White Dragon Cave are MUCH harder to kill, but during the Epilogue,
once you have Althena's Sword and are all alone, go ahead there and use Poe
Sword and you'll kill them within a round or two.
-Leveling Magic-
Leveling up your magic is important, but some not as important as the others.
Wind and Earth magics should NOT be touched at all. Chance should be leveled
up to 16 (Hades Wager will come in handy if more than one of your allies are
dead), and Dance should be leveled up to 16 (you'll need Dopple Dance to
defeat Master Lunn). That leaves Health, Flame, and Ice. Health takes
priority, but getting Fire to 21 before taking on the White Dragon Cave and
Ice to 21 before taking on the Black Dragon Cave will help you out a lot.
Getting Shining Litany early (which is Health at Level 29) will help out more
than anything. Take your time to get at least Shining Litany before fighting
Zophar.
-Light Litany and Beyond-
Do not under estimate the Light Litany spells of Ronfar's. Since Ronfar's
number of attacks are very low, using Light Litany spells during a boss battle
will not only do some decent damage (heavy damage if using Shining Litany),
but will also heal your party.
-Silver Lights and Dover Nuts-
Whenever you get one of these, give them to Ruby. For the early part of the
game, Ronfar will be able to heal you. The time when you'll need to save
money and the time when you'll need these is when Ghaleon drains your magic
power from you.
===============================================================================
X. Orders
===============================================================================
Order is very important if you wish to save yourself a lot of HP and MP.
Always keep your stronger characters in front and your weaker ones close by
and out of harm's way. Below are a few orders which I find good.
H - Hiro, R - Ronfar, J - Jean, L - Lemina, E - Lucia/Leo, [ ] - Empty
*Note where you see two letters are where you want to place their FEET, since
that is where they'll be standing.
Cross Form:
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][R][R][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][H][H][L][L][E][E][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][J][J][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
This puts Lemina directly in the middle and well protected, and it lets her
use Magic Shield on everybody. Also it's good for when you're attacked from
both sides. However, when attacked from front or back it leaves either Hiro
or Leo to have to cross over.
3-2 Formation:
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][J][J][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][R][R][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][H][H][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][L][L][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][E][E][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
A good frontal attack formation where all your power is up front and your
magic users are back behind staying put. Fails against back attacks though.
Still the highest recommended formation.
2-3 Formation:
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][R][R][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][H][H][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][E][E][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][J][J][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][L][L][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
This is similar to 3-2 except Lucia/Leo is in the back row. With Leo in the
middle (or Lucia), it will help against back attack, but the thing is, Leo
will only be in the party late in the game, so all this does is protect your
spellcasters some more. Highly recommended until you get Leo.
Lion's Head:
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][J][J][R][R]
[ ][H][H][ ][ ][E][E][L][L]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
If you're going to Lion's Head, this is the formation to use. Cover up the
upper 2 rows of the field and put Hiro in front. This will make damage very
low in this very tough spot.
Flying V:
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][R][R][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][J][J][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][H][H][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][E][E][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][L][L][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
This places the damage squarely on Hiro, but this is good when facing monsters
that use area skills to do damage.
X-Form:
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][H][H][ ][ ][J][J][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][L][L][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][R][R][ ][ ][E][E][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
If you're using Ronfar for power, then this is a good dual-purpose style.
Much like the Cross-Form, except this time it is much loser and puts two
of your fighters on one side. Still handy against area attacks, but still
lies the problem of one-sided fights.
Form Rank:
[ ][ ][ ][L][L][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][J][J][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][H][H][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][E][E][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
[ ][ ][ ][R][R][ ][ ][ ][ ]
This isn't too bad of a form, but it leaves Lemina and Ronfar without
protection and gives them the risk of being hit first. However, if your fast
enough, this formation can give you equal opportunity against front attacks,
back attacks, or side attacks.

XII. Song Lyrics & Outakes Log
===============================================================================
-Eternal Blue-
(Verse I)
A legend of old, A story forgotten,
The memories, of true love stolen from time.
A darkened romance. Try hard to remember.
A doorway to the heart beckons your mind!
And now, a corner of night can lift the weight from you,
It's in your hands. If just you understand.
A destiny lost, A bond that's been broken.
The memories, of a time that slipped away.
Just open your mind, the way lies before you.
A doorway to the heart you seek to find.
Love can change the key you hold into a gilded chance.
So tear a memory from your mind and make it so real.
(Chorus I)
Blue Star above me, your mystic shimmer tells of love, I should know.
Whisper your secret. That can eradicate my fear.
Blue Star above me, When shadows lengthen and the dark looms ever closer,
Turn on your shine and hold me near.
(Bridge)
When the comet pulls the bow, The stars begin their dance.
The time when destiny and hope, Will give birth again.
(Chorus II)
Then if it's to be, I'll find a glimmer of the life, I should know.
Only that moment can show me what I hold so dear.
Until that moment, I'll find some comfort in the love within my slumber.
Turn on your charm and hold me near.
(repeat Chorus I)
-Lucia's Theme-
(Verse I)
When I was alone as one, my eyes were as blind, I know.
Sky brilliant with blue elegance, I couldn't behold.
When I was alone as one, my heart was as ice, so cold.
Wind whispering sweet melodies, I could not behold.
Sight to my eyes, and warmth to my heart,
Your love has been such to me.
Pull closer now, and strengthen my leaning.
Toward love to heal all my wounds.
(Chorus I)
When our hearts both beat in time, there's magic in your smile,
It seems there's nothing we can do.
And within your warm embrace, my heart will find a place,
Even from afar.
Our love forever shall be destiny.
(repeat Verse I)
(repeat chorus I)
(Chorus II)
When our hearts both beat in time, there's magic in your smile,
I know there's nothing we can't do.
And within your warm embrace, my heart will find a place,
Even from afar,
Our love eternal shall be destiny.
-Outakes-
After you finish the epilogue, if you wait for a few minutes, you'll be
treated to some outtakes. Though I recommend hearing them for themselves, I
posted the log of the outtakes.
1. Borgan: Bwahahahaha. Look what we have here... that sucked.
2. Ghaleon: You are delirious. Your power has been drained. Face it, you're
already (mutters)
3. Ghaleon: Heheheheheh, hahahahaha... we'll record that.
4. Ghaleon: This... this reprieve from death was not an accident, Zophar
granted it, and now that I have betrayed his purpose, his power will be
withdrawn. I will weaken, and soon will be nothing more than a shadow...
(laughs), my tooth, my teeth, literally stuck on my, literally it was
like this...
5. Zophar: Heheh... oh I'm just not there, I don't know what the deal is, I'm
just not around there.
6. Lucia: *gasps* They'll (hiccup)... oopsie.
7. Lucia: I want to believe in Humanity's power... phft (laughs)
7. Lucia: *gasps* Ghaleon... whoops (giggles)
8. Lucia: You don't understand anything. You don't have a clue! Darn! (laughs)
9. Lucia: I return to the Blue Star far richer than when I left. For you see,
I now know that one day when it is restored... my voice is going really
crappy (coughs)
10. Lucia: I return to the Blue Star far richer than when I left. For you see,
I now know that one day when it is restored, I can safely entrust it to
humans, who will care for it as terriers... Oh my gosh I'm gonna kill
myself!
11. Luna: He prayed on mankind's greed for wealth and power, creating anarchy
and chaos where there was once peace and love... oops, I bumped that.
12. Ghaleon: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! (laughs) sorry.
13. Ronfar: Shhhhh... Ruby... man that was dorky.
14. Ronfar: But I'll tell you where your guy is, if you beat me in a game, the
game that rules my life. Because the only truth I've ever founb,
wahabahaba (laughs).
15. Ronfar: I'm through running away Mauri. Do what you must. *grunts* No,
that's too much like Arnold Schwarzenegger, isn't it?
16. Lunn: Well well, Jean. Have you taken to associating with trash like this
on a regular basis? I'm... oops, is that where you wanted me to hiss?
17. Jean: You're wrong Lunn... ok... sorry. Shoot!
18. Jean: You're wrong Lunn. Your worm-infested heart hides the truth from
your eyes. Power grows when spread amongst the many and pers.. (mutters).
Sorry.
19. Lucia: You're one of a kind... oops. Sorry, I have a loogie.
20. Nall: Ha! No, that's not it. Ha! Got you you little tw... Ha!
21. Nall: *screeches* No, that was wrong.
22. Ghaleon: Fight hard Hiro. Believe in your friends. The final test, lies
before sh...(cartoon sound)
23. Zophar: I am Zophar, Master of Sh...(foghorn)
24. Zophar: Muahahahahahaha. Well then, you must work to strengthen the seal
and make certain she does not succeed. For the moment, I will just watch
and relish the way she worms her way into the hearts of the humans that
have foolishly befriended her. She is so misguided to even try too,
sh...(horn)
25. Lunn: Well well, Jean. Have you taken to associating with trash like this
on a regular basis? I'm disappointed in you... fu... (slip & crash sound).
I'm really liking that and I bumped it... (more cartoon sounds)
26. Zophar: Muahahahahahaha. Well then... (slip sound) dammit.
27. Ghaleon: Zophar granted it, and now all, and now I can't read.
28. Ronfar: But hey, this is your moment... ooooh, I forgot my line.
29. Lunn: Have you ever?... have you ever missed a line and just felt stupid?
30. Lucia: What's my next line?
