Comprehensive Officer Biography

Place of Birth: Jiuyuan, Wuyuan County (Presently an area north-west of Baotou)
Lifespan: AD 156 - 199 (43 Years)
Titles: Chief Secretary, General of the Left, Lord of a Capital Precinct,
Graceful Lord
Lu Bu was a master of horse riding, archery, and armed combat. He was tall and
had strong arms, because of this; he was nicknamed the "Flying General."
Fengxian was one of the foremost warriors in Chinese history.
Lu Bu originally started his career as Chief Secretary in the office of Ding
Yuan, and Ding Yuan treated him as his own son. When Dong Zhuo marched into the
capital and caused chaos in the Imperial Palace, Lu Bu was enchanted with the
many splendid gifts from Dong Zhuo, and was talked into killing Ding Yuan.
Lu Bu was appointed Cavalry Commander and Imperial Corps Commander by Dong Zhuo
successively, and was titled Lord of a Capital Precinct.
Fengxian and Dong Zhuo swore to be foster son and father, and since then Lu Bu
became Dong Zhuo's closest guard. Later on, Imperial Minister of Interior Wang
Yun devised a plot to have Lu Bu kill Dong Zhuo.
After Lu Bu killed his foster father he was titled Graceful Lord and was treated
as a high official. When Li Jue, Guo Si and Fan Chou attacked Chang An, Lu Bu
was forced to retreated and sought refuge with Yuan Shao.
In the year AD 195, Lu Bu was defeated by Cao Cao at Juye and then went over to
Liu Bei. In an attempt to surpass Liu Bei, Fengxian appointed himself as Prefect
of Xu Zhou. He sought to ally himself with Yuan Shu to the south but this failed
due to a plot engineered by Chen Gui.
Lu Bu then turned to Cao Cao and was appointed General of the Left. In the third
year of Rebuilt Tranquility (AD 198), Lu Bu betrayed him and allied with Yuan
Shu. Together they attempted to beat the allied armies of Liu Bei and Cao Cao.
Later on, Cao Cao was able to capture Lu Bu alive in Xia Pi. Lu Bu again tried
to join Cao Cao, but Liu Bei dissuaded him. Cao Cao had Lu Bu strangled to death
at White Gate Tower.

2. Why Should I Use him?
=======================
Lu Bu is one of the strongest generals. His highest thing is Life and Attack. He
has cockroach like hair and a mean looking spear! Who could ask for more? A good
description of Lu Bu would be a lean mean powerhouse! His special will kind of
remind you of a tornado! Lu Bu is an overrated character. Many people think he
is the best character in the game and that he is the best. Lu Bu is nothing more
than a powerhouse, and that's about it. An overrated powerhouse. I am not saying
I dislike him. I just think he is used too often. Why should you use him? Just
because he is powerful and has a great defense!

3. How to Unlock Lu Bu
=======================
For DW4 just clear any kingdom once. For DW4XL he is initially unlocked.

4. Defeating Lu Bu in a Duel
=======================
This is a hard thing. To defeat him in a duel wait until he uses his musou
attack. Next, keep blocking him until he stops and let him hit you until your
musou bar fills up. Then, use your musou attack and try to knock him into a
corner. Then all you have to do is keep on hitting him until he dies.

5. Moves
========================
Here is a list of moves for Lu Bu:
T - Normal Attack
C - Charge Attack
T1 - Diagonal Swing from the top left to the bottom right
T2 - Straight swing from the right to the left
T3 - A straight down cut from top to bottom
T4 - Same as T2 but opposite
T5 - Jumps in Air and spins his weapon around
T6 - Same as T4
C1 - Stabs with the tip of his weapon, lifts the person up and slashes up in the
air and throws the person down
C2 - Throws person up with the end of his weapon
C3 - Swings weapon around and sends a wave of power out
C4 - Goes forward with a powerful swing with his weapon
C5 - Same as C2 tap triangle again and he jumps up and slams the person down
C6 - Swings weapon diagonally over and over again and punches the ground
Jump Attack - Swings weapon on his side
Musou - Spins around and spins his weapon in the direction he is going and then
does a T3
True Musou - Same as musou with an added C6 at the end
Normal Horse Attack - Swings left then right
Charge Horse Attack - Same as Normal Horse attack but using 2 attacks in one
L3 Button - Does like he is turning into a Super Saiyan and says "Why even
try?!"

6. Lu Bu's 10th and 11th Weapon
======================
Since this guide is for Dynasty Warriors 4 Xtreme Legends, I will tell you how
to unlock it the XL way.
For his Level 10 weapon:
Play Lu Bu's Legend on Hard Mode. You MUST have his level 9 weapon in order to
unlock his 10th.
Method: All you do is kill, kill, and kill. Keep on doing that until you get 800
KOs. Then you will unlock it. You do NOT need to find it.
For his Level 11 weapon:
Play Lu Bu's Legend on Expert Mode. You MUST have his level 10 weapon in order
to unlock his 11th. And you MUST get an S-Rank at the end of the stage.
Method: Kill, kill, and kill some more! Do that until you get 2000 KOs. Then you
will unlock it. You do NOT need to find it.

7. Techniques
=======================
Orbs: Equip Lu Bu with a Vorpal Orb
Items: Equip Lu Bu with a Tiger Amulet, Dragon Amulet, Tortoise Amulet, and a
Peacock Urn
Saddle: The best saddle for him is a Shadow Harness
Moves: Lu Bu has a complex move set. It is a great crowd clearer.

Extras: This tells you about his stats.
Life: WAY Above average
His Life Stat is perfect!
Musou: Average
His musou is half maxed out.
Attack: Above Average
This is what makes Lu Bu a strong character, his attack power is unbelievable!
Defense: Above average
His defense is so good that he hardly EVER gets juggled around.
Musou Attack: Average
It does not have a good range.
Horse Attacks: Average
Just like anyone elses.
Jump Attack: Below Average
His Jump Attack is not really that good.
Jump Charge: Average
Just like everyone else.
Bow Attack: Great
Almost as good as Huang Zhong.
Bow Defense: Below Average
His bow defense is awful.
Speed: Average
His speed is in-between good and bad. It's normal
Attack Speed: Average
It isn't slow and it is not too fast.
Range: Good
You could probably attack someone from a couple steps away from you.
Parry: Fair
It's pretty good.
Weapons:
Level 1-3 Halberd
Level 4-6 Great Halberd
Level 7-9 Sky Piercer
Level 10 Sky Scorcher
Level 11 MaelStorm
Costumes:
1 - Standard Costume
2 - Costume 1 with a different color
3 - The first one with thick hair where it bends
