This is a FAQ for Ninja Jaja Marukun: Onikiri Ninpoucho.An import game
for the Sony Playstation game console.A lot of the game is in english
so I will just cover the basics and maybe some of the secret locations.

BASICS

Since this is a pretty straight forward action game I will talk about
the not so obvious parts.Please keep in mind this is a work in progress.
If anyone has anything at all that they would like to submit check the

_Object_
You have to get to the end of the stage basically.There are two things
that are trying to stop you.Enemies and the timer.So not only do you
have to worry about the enemies you also have to race against the clock.
_Things to know_
The clock is constantly moving.Don't screw around.
One hit kills unless you drank a potion.
Once killed you will be brought back where you died.Provided you have an
extra life.
Falling down holes is instant death.
There are three stages in every level.
Falling down steps stuns you.
Getting hit by moving walls stuns you.
You can deflect certain attacks from enemies.Simply attack when the
projectile is close to you and it should send it back to the enemy.
Jump on the purple thing at the end of the level to complete it.
You start out with two lives.
More lives can be gained by scoring enough points and picking up a head
icon.
_Attacking_
Well this is basically the main part of the game. Press the [] button
to throw a throwing star.You can aim with the R1 and L1 buttons.But the
aiming is kind of odd so you will probably be finding yourself moving
around to hit the enemies.But there are times where you will need to
aim so it is good to remember that you have the ability.If you hit an
enemy multiple times you get,what I like to call,a combo bonus.For each
time you hit the enemy you get more points.You have to be fast for it
to work though.After an enemy is defeated run over to it.A spirit should
float up grab it for a nice 200 point bonus.Some enemies fire at you.
Sometimes you can deflect these shots by shooting them.You can also
jump(X button) and shoot in mid-air.It is useful for the times when an
enemy is on a ledge.Also at your disposal is Onigiri Ninpo.A special
attack that is done by pressing the O button.You only have a limited
number.Collect more by getting the scrolls with leaves,water,fire
or frogs on them.Depending on what you get your special move will be
different.It tends to kill all the on screen enemies.
_Attack Power-up_
You can power-up your throwing stars.Simply collect a scroll with a
picture of a throwing star in the corner and you will be powered up.
Once powered up your throwing stars will be bigger and do more damage.
_Cat Icon_
Collect one for 1000 points!
_Tablets_
Worth 100 points each.
_Gold Tablets_
Worth 300 points each.
_Potion_
upon picking up the potion you will turn green.What this is basically is
Armor.Once you grab it you will be able to sustain three hits before
death unlike the normal one.You become green from the potion one hit
and you turn yellow,one more hit and you turn to the normal red color.
One hit from there and you lose a life.
_Frog Scroll_
When you pick up a frog scroll with Onigiri Ninpo you will get one more.
However,if you pick up a frog scroll when you have no Onigiri Ninpo you
will turn into a Giant Frog.As the frog you can just jump on the enemies
to kill them.It only lasts a short period of time though so watch out.
I may be wrong about this.If anyone knows for sure about this email me.
_Invincibility_
To become Invincible simply pick up the scroll with the two stick figures
on it.You will then turn into three shadowy figures and you are
invincible.This only last for a limited time.
_Watch out below!_
Watch out for the holes that appear.One fall means instant death.An easy
way to spot holes is by looking at the ground(Duh!).If there is a
suspicious looking piece of floor it is probably a hole.
_Don't Forget_
Don't forget to collect the spirit(?) of the enemies after you kill them.
It gives you more points!
_Extra Lives_
There are two ways to get extra lives.One is by getting enough points.
The other is by collecting the item that looks like your head.
_Onigiri ninpo_
This usually kills everything on screen.Use it when nessacery.It isn't
too smart to use it when there are only two easy-to-defeat enemies
around.
_Mine cart tip_
Don't forget you can temporarily stop the cart py pressing down on the
D-pad.
_Aiming tip_
While aiming the movement controls will be kind of weird.They will move
you in the same direction but while looking to the left for example
pressing left on the D-pad will make you feel like your walking forward.
But you are really just walking left.As you know when you let go of the
look button it slowly goes back to your normal view.To make it go faster
simply press the opposite look direction button.Example:You are looking
left.Press the look right button to straighten it out.

WALKTHROUGH

This walkthrough was done on Normal difficulty.There are some differences
on expert difficulty so please keep this in mind.As such the passwords
stated after the level number are normal difficulty passwords.

Level 1 BBBB

Level 1-1
__________
Walk forward and take out the three enemies.Now is a good time to practice
aiming(R1 &L1).You will eventually reach a curtain.Walk up to the curtian
and it will raise allowing you access.From the curtain make a right.You
should see a green sign in front of you.Go forward.Watch out coming up
on your left will be two enemies.Quickly take them and then walk until
you reach a gate.You should now see another one of those green signs
and in front of it a scroll with a throwing star on it.As I stated in my
Basics section this upgrades attack power.Grab it and jump on the blue
roof in front of you.Jump on the roofs continuing forward until you reach
a gate.Go through the gate.Watch out coming up on your left again is
two more enemies.Get rid of them and continue forward.Make a left when
you get to the dead end.In front of you should be a scroll with a leaf
on it.This gives you onigiri ninpo(a special attack).Grab it and continue
forward.On your way forward there should be what looks like a side street
to your right.Turn in there rather then continuing forward.Walk to the end
and then make a left.Walk through the wood.You should now be in a hallway
with four tablets in front of you.Grab the tablets and jump up.Continue
jumping up until you can see out side.Jump out side.Watch out.Turn right
quickly three enemies will come after you.Dispose of them.Continue
forward.Jump on that purple thing to complete the level!

Level 1-2

Destroy the three enemies and the gate will open.Go through the gate and
kill the two enemies that you see.Then jump atop the platform that looks
like a table.Grab the weapon power up scroll and then jump to the next
platform in front of you.Grab the two Onigiri Ninpo and jump down.
Continue forwar and you will reach a few buildings with low roofs.Jump on
the blue roof and kill the two enemies.Go forward into the wooden cage.
Jump up until you reach a curtain.Go through the curtain when it goes up.
Grab the weapon power up scroll and then drop down.Go through the gate
and kill the three enemies.Then go through the next gate and quickly
make a left.Kill the enemy that is approaching you.Go forward then make
a right and go through the next gate.There should be a bridge in front of
you.On it is two enemies.Get rid of them and continue forward.You will
come across another bridge.But this time there is only one enemy.Take it
out.Continue forward.You will meet another enemy,dispose of it.Now there
will be a very wide bridge in front of you.Cross it and jump on the purple
thing.Another level completed!

Level 1-3

This is your first boss encounter.You will be facing Kuroko.Don't worry
he,like all of the other boss's,is not a challenge.Walk forward and make
a left.Look closely at the wall in front of you.You should see a small
portion in the lower right is a different color.This is a hint.Go forward
but insted of making a left go through th different colored wall piece.
Continue forward and jump to the top.Jump over the fence and turn right.
You should see a big gate and a potion in front of you.Run up and grab
the potion.It allows you to get hit three times rather then the normal
one time.The gate will open.Get ready to face Kuroko.A short FMV will
play.After that you will fight.All that you have to do is run up to him
and tap the attack button([] button) a few times and he will die.This
is very easy and you should have no problems with him.You beat just about
all of the other boss's this way.Congratulations you beat level 1.Now
onto level 2.
Level 2 EYAB

Level 2-1
__________
Walk forward and go through the doors.Turn right and continue forward.
Grab the attack power-up scroll and then continue forward.Kill the three
enemies and walk untill you get to a wall.Turn left.Go forward and turn
left.Then go through the doors.Jump over the barrier and kill the three
enemies.Go through the door.Jump over this barrier and kill the three
enemies.Go through the door.Turn right.Walk forward and destroy the two
enemies.Look for the hole in the floor.It is quite easy to spot.Jump
on the deck to your right and kill the enemy.Walk forward and then quickly
turn right and kill the two enemies.Get the frog scroll.Go through
the door.Dispose of the two enemies and go through the next door.Kill
the three enemies.Instead of going through the door right away walk to
the right and jump on the table.Get the tablets.Then walk forward a little
and go right to get the cat statue.Then go through the door.Kill three
more enemies in this room.And then do the same thing as you did in the
last room.Except in this room after you jump on the table jump backwards.
and you will get a onigiri ninpo scroll.Go through the door.Kill two more
enemies and go through the door.Make a right.Go forward and kill the two
enemies.Watch for the hole in the floor and continue forward.Kill the
four enemies and dodge the moving walls.If the walls hit you you will
become dazed.Thus leaving yourself open for an enemy attack.Continue
forward and then make a left.Collect the tablets then go forward and jump
on the purple thing to complete the level.

Level 2-2
_________
Kill the enemy in front of you then walk forword and go through the door.
Kill the two enemies waiting inside for you.Go forward through the right
curtain.Make a right and then a left.Continue for ward and collect the
Weapon power-up scroll.Watch out.Just to the left of the scroll is a
hole.Don't fall in.Go forward and kill the two enemies.Go through the
door and make a left.Grab the onigiri ninpo and continue forward.Grab
the cat icon.Go forward and kill the three enemies.Grab the frog scroll
and make a left.Don't try to climb the steps.Just jump in the air and
attack.An enemy will be coming toward you.After you dispose of it jump
up the stairs.Make a right and then go forward.Destroy the enemy and
and make a right.Go through the right door.Grab the two onigiri ninpo.
Go through the right door again.Kill the enemy.Go forward.Walk around the
walls.Kill the two enemies.Grab the tablets and the four cat icons.Go
through the door.Imediatly start attacking as soon as the door opens.Once
you get the enemy go through and then make a left.Jump on the first rafter
to get an extra life.Kill two enemies and jump on the second rafter.From
the jump to the third rafter and collect the two items.Drop off of the
rafters and go forward.Jump up the steps and manuver your way through
the moving walls.Watch out for the hole after the fourth walland eighth
wall.Go forward and jump on the purple thing to complete the stage.

Level 2-3

Walk forward and kill the enemy.Jump up the steps and turn left.Walk
forward and turn right.Go forward.Follow the path until you reach an
open room with a potion.Grab the potion and continue forward.Make a right
and go through the curtain.A short FMV will play showing Amanojyaku.He
is easy just like Kuroko.Simply walk up to him and attack.He should fall
down.When he gets up attack again and he should be dead.Congratulations
you just beat Amanojyaku!Now onto Level 3.
Level 3 KREH

Level 3-1
__________
This is one of the mine cart levels and as such there are different
controls for it.Check the Controls section to see how to control the mine
cart.Hopefully you have been practicing the aiming technique like I have
suggested.You will need it in this stage.I will do my best to guide you
through the mine cart levels but keep in mind I am not perfect.When you
start turn right twice to collect two cat icons.You should see another
cat icon very close.Look at the tracks.You have to turn left to get it.
Turn left.You will get the cat icon.Now you are going straight.Follow the
track until you reach an enemy.Kill the enemy.Keep following the track.
You will get to another cat icon.Grab it and you will continue.After you
grab the cat icon there will be a fork in the track.Take the right fork.
Press down to brake.Kill the enemy.And turn right.Follow the path.You
should see an extra life icon.Get ready you have to jump up on the track
to get it.After you get the extra life make a left and you will get the
weapon power-up scroll.You will reach another fork.Go right.Kill the
enemy and continue forward.Watch out for the bomb throwing moles.Grab the
cat icon and make a left.You should be on the track all the way to the
left.Grab the Onigiri Ninpo scroll and continue forward.Again watch out
for the bomb throwing moles.You should be on the lowest path.You will
come to another fork in the track.Go left and grab the onigiri ninpo
scroll.Use it up ahead in between the moles.Continue forward and jump
up to get the cat icon.Kill the enemy.Then quickly jump across to get
another cat icon.Drop to the bottom then jump up to the top.Don't attempt
to jump all the way across.Continue forward and take the left path at the
fork in the road.Use a Onigiri ninpo right before the onigiri ninpo scroll
as there are a ton of bomb throwing moles around.If you use it just before
the scroll you will kill not only the mole but also another enemy in
front of you.Get the onigiri ninpo scroll.Continue forward.An enemy will
appear.Dispose of it and continue forward.You will eventually reach a
mole.Ignore it.Go through the curtain.Collect the tablets and cat icon.
You will reach the goal.

Level 3-2
__________
Take the path to the right.Kill the bomb.Then continue forward.Follow
the path.Kill the enemy that throws lightning.Eventually you will be
turning off of the screen to the right side.Get ready.You will have to
jump to a new track.Let the cart move on it's own.You will come to a fork
in the track.Go to the right path.Kill the two enemies and continue
forward.You will drop down eventually.Get ready to jump after droping
down.After you jump up to the new track just go where it takes you.You
will reach a curtain.Go through it.You will then drop down onto a lower
track again.Follow the track.Watch out you will have to jump up to a new
track again.After you jump up you will be at yet another fork in the
track.Go on the right path.Kill the bombs.Continue forward.Don't turn for
the tablets just stay on the path all the way to the right.You will see a
Onigiri ninpo scroll ahead.Get it and then you will drop down.Jump up
onto a new track again.It will turn off to the right and then the left.
After it turns to the left get ready to jump.You will be on a path with
many tablets.You will get a lot of points.Follow the path until you drop
off.Get ready to jump.After it turns to the right you will have to jump.
Once on the new track you will get a cat icon.Follow the track.Kill the
bomb ahead of you and then you will be at the goal.

Level 3-3
__________
Finally a level where you are back on your feet.Walk forward over the
rainbow colored bidge.Continue forward.Attack the enemy in front of you.
Grab the potion.Continue forward some more.You will see a FMV introducing
Himiko.Himiko,like the other bosses so far,is incredibly easy.Simply
walk up to her and jump up and attack her.It should take three hits to
kill her.Watch out she shoots projectiles at you.You should be able to
beat her without getting hit.Congratulations you just beat level 3 and
Himiko!Now onto level 4.
Level 4 VWAC

Level 4-1
__________
Walk forward and then make a right.Walk forward again and make another
right.Kill the enemy and continue forward.Make yet another right but
watch out.An enemy that looks like an umbrella will come at you.Kill
it and then continue forward again.Collect the tablets and the two
Onigiri Ninpo scrolls.As you can now see they contain fire now.In
The last levels the contained leaves.Now fire will engulf the enemy
when you use the scroll.Make a left and kill the umbrella enemy.Go
Forward and make a left again.Continue forward but watch out before
you turn right.An umbrella enemy will try and jump out at you.Kill
it and then continue forward.Make a left and you will come to a short
barrier ahead of you.Run and jump over the barrier.Then quickly kill
the two enemies.Go forward and pick up the tablets for some points.
Also grab the Weapon power-up scroll.Then turn left.Walk forward and
then turn right and kill the enemy that is awaiting you.Hop over the
upcoming barrier.Collect the two tablets and dispose of the umbrella
enemy that lunges at you.Make a right and then continue forward.Destroy
the two umbrella creatures.Then collect the tablets and the two Onigiri
Ninpo scrolls.Walk through the curtain.When you get in the middle of the
four sqaures with stones on them use an Onigiri Ninpo scroll.Go through
the right path and collect all of the tablets.Collect the Frog scroll and
continue through the curtain.Go onto the middle of the blue stone sqaure.
Use an onigiri ninpo scroll.It will kill the umbrella creatures and stop
the hopping stones just as it did the last time.Collect the two Onigiri
Ninpo scrolls and continue forward.You should see a bell.Instead of going
to the bell make a left.Then make a right.You will see an extra life icon.
Grab it and continue forward.Kill the two enemies gaurding the end.As
always jump on the purple thing to complete the stage.

Level 4-2
__________
Walk forward and kill the umbrella creature.Go through the curtain.Use
an Onigiri Ninpo.Then collect the Onigiri Ninpo scroll.Go forward and
take out the umbrella creature.I hope it isn't supposed to rain.Grab
the Weapon Power-up scroll.Go through the curtain.Grab the Invincibility
scroll.Run straight through the path.Watch your head!Stones will be
jumping at you.Don't worry though as you will not get hurt.Remember you
picked up that Invincibility scroll?Once you reach two enemies that look
like stone walls(or Whomp 'em's if you have played Super Mario Bros. 3)use
an Onigiri Ninpo to get rid of them.Look to the right.See those tablets?
You want them don't you?Turn right.Well don't actually turn right.Walk to
the right.You should pass right through the wall.Collect the tablets and
the four Onigiri Ninpo scrolls.Exit this small room and continue forward.
Turn left.Jump on the bluse platform and collect the tablets.Dodge the
Blockhead and continue forward.Shoot the umbrella creature and run past
the blockhead.Make a right instead of going through the door.Then go
through the door you come across.Kill the umbrella enemy.Run past the
block head inot the next room.Use an Onigiri Ninpo to take care of the
umbrella creature,the stones and the blockhead if he followed you.Walk
through the door and then grab the Frog scroll.Make a right and go
through the door.Collect the tablets.Then jump over the blockhead's
and go through the door.Collect the tablets in here and use an
Onigiri Ninpo to kill the three blockhead's.Go through the door.
Make a right and then go through the next door.There sure are a lot of
doors in here aren't there?Walk forward.Collect the tablets and dodge the
blockhead.Grab the cat icon for 1000 points.Who knew a cat could be worth
so much?Cut yet another umbrella creature down to size and then jump on
the purple thing to finish the stage.
