This is mainly a start to end walkthrough. I will not go into details about
the enemies or the story. If anyone decides to make a serious FAQ, they have
my permission to use this one as a base if they so choose too. Giving due
credit of course.


_/_/_/_/_/  2 - Overview  _/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/

The main point of this game is to go back in time and destroy the evil
Gordess. But to do that you first need to collect 7 Secret Time Stones found
on each level. Each stage contains a hidden dungeon (playable in a Zelda-like
way) where you will find each of the 7 Secret Time Stones. To enter a dungeon
first you need to fulfill certain conditions.
Each level also contains a warp that warps you further or backwards in
the level (good to advance quicker in a level) and it also warps you back or
forward in time. This is what you use to end a level and go to the next or
previous level.
The catch in all of this is that in order to use the warps, buy items and
survive in the dungeons, you need Time Pieces. You get them by defeating
enemies while in shooter mode. They basically act as your score, your money
and your energy (in dungeon mode only).

Items in Shooter Mode:

Barrier Capsule: A barrier will surround your ship and will absorb enemy shots.

Twin Laser: Upgrade your weapon to a powerful twin laser.

Pulser: Able to fire bullets more rapidly and increases the speed of the ship.

Neo Final Star: 1up.

Items in Dungeon Mode:
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Bomb: You need them to blow up hidden doors inside dungeons. Just like Zelda.

Time Crystal: Exchange them in dungeons for 3000 Time Pieces. (looks like a
              cross)

Escape Unit: Escape from dungeons. (looks like the feather end of an arrow)

Boots: Make you walk faster.

Solar Lamp: Used to destroy certain invincible enemies. It is also used to
            evaporate a fountain in a certain dungeon.

Rapid Fire Shot: Able to fire bullets more rapidly.

Laser Cutter: Ability to shoot through the enemies.

Power Armband: Cuts the damage received in half.

Progress Items:

Secret Time Stone: There's one of these on each of the 7 dungeons. It's
                   yellow with a middle red circle.

Dungeon Crest: In some dungeons, you need to find two of these before you
               are able to get the Secret Time Stone. It's gray with a
               symbol in the middle.

Oanesu Crest: You have to get 4 of these to be able to access a dungeon
              further on. It looks like a red bird.

Dorera Statue: You need this item to access a dungeon further on. It
               looks like a fat golden demon.

Cleopatra Mask: If you want the best ending, you need to get this item.

_/_/_/_/_/  4 - Warping _/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/

On each shooter level you will encounter warp panels (red squares on the
floor), these will be empty when you start the game, but after you start
warping to other levels, it will get filled.
On the left are the eras you've warped too (which you can warp to anytime after
being to that stage) and on the right are warps to go further or backwards
in a stage. Really useful if you don't want to endure the whole stage
every time you enter it.
But those warp panels are just for warping to stages you've been to.
To warp to a new stage you have to get to the end of a level (before it loops)
and enter the panel that says "W".

Year 2010
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
There's not much you can do yet. Main thing you need to do is kill lots of
enemies to get lots of Time Pieces. While flying you'll see red squares and
circles on the ground. These are the stores (it says In) and warps.
The stages loop forever, so you can keep killing those enemies over and over.
Buy bombs and any other item on the stores. Bombs are mandatory to advance.
When you feel you have gained enough Time Pieces, get to the end of the level
(by physically shooting your way through it or by using the warp panels) to
reach the next level, the year...

Year 1608
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
The main objective here is to open the access to the dungeon in the year 2010
(the previous stage). To do this, you need to destroy the head of one of the
fossils lying on the ground. The fossil you are looking for will be found on
the left of the screen and it's the largest one on the level. Shoot its head
and if you destroy it, the screen should flash. You have now altered the
future. Use one of the warps to go back to the year 2010.

Year 2010
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Go through the stage until you see the dungeon entrance. It looks just like
a store panel and says "In".
Once inside, go up, then right (there should be a store there), then up 2
screens, then left (you should see a gate in the wall), then left 4 times.
(On the way you should have seen a bunch of stores, you can buy stuff if
you wish). On this screen you will get [Dungeon Crest 1].
Then go right 3 times, down 2 times, left (you can bomb the top wall for
a store), left again and bomb the wall here to get [Oanesu Crest 1]
which you need to enter a dungeon further on. Now go up and defeat the
monster to get [Dungeon Crest 2].
After getting the crest, go down 1 time, 2 right, 2 up, 1 right. You should
be in the room with the gate in the wall. Use a bomb to make an opening,
inside you will find [Secret Time Stone 1]. You will automatically leave
the dungeon. Warp to the year 1608.

Year 1608

Reach the end of the level and warp to the next era.

Year 1301
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Go through the stage until you come across a giant pink egg. Destroy it
and warp back to the year 1608.

Year 1608
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Go through the stage until you come to where Ganimu was (the creature that
you could not shoot) and you will see the entrance to the dungeon.
Inside the dungeon go up, then right, destroy the monster and enter the
shop. Buy the Pulser and Life if you can. Exit the store and go left 2
times, up (you can enter any doors if you wish), right 2 times, up, right,
up, right, up and enter the door to get [Dungeon Crest 3]. Exit the room
and go down, left, down, left, down, left 3 times, 2 up and bomb the wall
here to get [Oanesu Crest 2]. Now go left and up to get [Dungeon Crest 4].
Go down, right, 2 down, 2 right and bomb the gate on the wall to get
[Secret Time Stone 2]. Exit and warp to 1301

Year 1301
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Reach the end of the level and warp to the next area.

Year 1003
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
On this level, once you reach the huge ocean area, start shooting near the
center of it. Eventually you will see your shots hitting something invisible.
If you shoot it enough times, the screen will flash and you have again
altered the future. Warp back to 1301.

Year 1301
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Go through the stage until you see the dungeon entrance.
From the start, go right, down and taken the up path there, bomb the tree on
top to get [Oanesu Crest 3]. From here go down and then up on the other
road, left and you'll be back on the start of the dungeon.
From here go 3 left, up, 3 right and bomb the next to last tree on the right.
Don't enter yet, first go 3 right and up. Bomb the tree here to be able to
buy a Solar Lamp (buy at least 2, you won't need more). Leave the store and
go down and 3 left back to the tree you bombed.
Enter it and go all the way up, then all the way left, then down.
Place a bomb in the center of the circle of trees to get [Secret Time Stone 3].
Warp to 1003.

Year 1003
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Play the stage until you reach a woods area in which you will keep looping.
The loop will be removed once you uncover the dungeon entrance in this level.
For now there's nothing you can do, so take the warp you will see in that loop
to access the warp to the Year 0820.

Year 0820
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Play the stage until you see two rows of stones forming a path on the left side
of the screen. At the end of these rows of stones you should see a bunch of
stones forming a circle. Fly through the middle of that circle to uncover a
hidden entrance. Inside you will get the [Dorera Statue]. Take the warp to the
year 1301.

Year 1301
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Find the dungeon entrance again, once inside go right, down and take the
up path there, then right 2 times. Bomb the tree there and enter to have
the person inside reveal the dungeon entrance to the year 0820. Exit and
warp to the year 0820.

Year 0820
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Play through the stage until you see the dungeon entrance. Enter it and
go all the way up to see a building with a door on the first floor and
a door on the second floor. Enter the first floor.
From the start go 3 up, right, 3 down and left. Take the lower exit here
and you'll be back outside on that 2nd floor door you saw earlier.
Bomb on the left of it to get [Dungeon Crest 5]. Now go back inside and
go right, all the way up, 2 left (note the dungeon gate), 2 down and right.
Here you will see a monster, you can't defeat it unless you use a Solar Lamp.
But considering how expensive they are, it's best if you don't use it.
Just take a hit from the monster and enter the door to get [Dungeon Crest 6].
Now go left, 2 up, left and enter the dungeon gate.

You will be inside a second dungeon. In here you can find a fountain, but that
is not necessary now. Not only that, it is recommended you DON'T mess with it
right now or it could glitch out the game and you will be stuck.

From the entrance go right, up, right, up, right, up, left, take the top right
exit, down and bomb the right wall to get [Secret Time Stone 4]. Exit the
dungeon and reach the end of the level to warp to...

Year 0316
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Play through the level until you start to see a large shape on the floor that
has one of the Oanesu Crest you've been collecting so far. The large shape
looks like a devil or some sort of figure. Well, you're gonna hate me for this
but, there's a hidden entrance BEFORE you see the large shape on the ground.
So you're probably gonna have to loop the stage (or warp back to the start) to
reach that spot again if you missed it. Once you reach back to the point
BEFORE you see the large shape on the floor, start searching near the middle
of the screen and you'll find a secret entrance.
Inside you'll get [Oanesu Crest 4].

Once you get it, just go up a bit further to the large shape on the floor and
the dungeon entrance will be open. Make sure you have bombs in stock.
This dungeon also has a bunch of one way doors, so if you start to wander
around you might go in circles.

Once inside, go up and bomb the wall on the right, enter the door and go up,
right, 4 up, right, up, right, kill the creature here and place a bomb on the
top wall. Enter this room and pass through the Solar Gate to turn white.
Leave this room and go 3 left and up. In here there's another monster, ignore
it and enter the door on the left (assuming you are still white).
If there's no door, then go back to the Solar Gate, get the power again and
go back. After entering the door, go left (there's a hidden shop here with
cheap bombs), down, 3 left and up to get [Secret Time Stone 5].
Exit and reach the end of the level to warp to...

Year 0001
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Play through the level and keep watching or those volcanoes in the middle
of the screen. Shoot the 2nd or 3rd middle volcano a bunch of times, if done
right the screen will flash and the dungeon entrance will appear further on.
Make sure you have at least 9000 time pieces before you enter.

As a side note, this is the furthest back you can warp in the game. This is
where the evil Gordess is. Reach the end of the stage, and you will face him.
If you defeat him right now, WITHOUT having the 7 Secret Time Stones, you'll
get a message in Japanese (probably says that you don't have everything yet)
and you'll be warped back to the first stage (Year 2010). Obviously so you
can look for the Secret Time Stones you are missing.

With that info out of the way, enter the dungeon you just opened.
From the dungeon entrance go up. If you want, you can go left or right to reach
a lot of stores in case you are missing some items. Don't worry, you won't get
lost. So, after going up, you will find one of those invincible creatures, use
one of the Solar Lamps you go to defeat him. Enter the gate on top and it will
subtract 9000 time pieces (if you have a time pieces cheat, turn it off).
Now go right, up, left, right (top exit), right, up and enter the door.
You will notice this was a one way door since the way is now shut.
Go left, up, down (left exit), left, down and bomb the wall on the top left.
Enter here and talk to the person. Now leave and go back to the
one way door (up, right, up, down, right), you will see that the door is open
again. Enter it and you will be in a different room. Go right, bomb the top
wall, enter and fight the monster there, bomb the top wall again and enter
to get [Secret Time Stone 6]. Exit the dungeon.
Now your task is to get the last Secret Time Stone, which is in the year 1003,
but first you have to go to...

Year 0820
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Play through the level until you find the dungeon entrance. Go in.
Go all the way up and enter the building. Now we're gonna find that fountain
I mentioned earlier.
Go all the way up, all the way right, all the way up, left and enter the
dungeon gate. You will now be at the second dungeon.
From the entrance go left, up, 2 left, up, left, right (top exit),
up (enter the door to buy a Solar Lamp if you don't have one),
down (right exit), down, right, right, up, left, up, right, up, 2 right, down,
left and down.
You should be in front of the fountain. Use your other Solar Lamp to dry it.
Now go down (where the river was crossing), right, down, left to reach
the exit. You'll be at the first dungeon, go right, 3 down, 2 left and all
the way down to exit.
Now warp to 1003, but first, make sure you have at least 9000 time pieces.

Year 1003
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Play through the level until you see the dungeon entrance.
Once inside the dungeon go left, left (bottom exit), 3 up and defeat the
monster here.
Step into the portal and it will subtract 9000 time pieces. Now go up,
all the way to the right, down, left, down, down (right exit), right, 2 down,
2 left, up and right to get [Secret Time Stone 7]. Exit and now you can warp to
the year 0001 and face Gordess, but first you need to know certain things.

Now that you have the 7 Secret Time Stones, you can defeat Gordess.
Once you do, you'll be warped to the real last level of the game, the
year 2137. You won't be able to warp back, so get everything you need
before battling Gordess on the year 0001 because there are no stores on the
shooter or dungeon levels. The last dungeon will also drain your time pieces,
so make sure you have a TON in stock.
Also, the game has 2 endings. These are the conditions to get them:
If you go into 2137 and DO NOT enter the level's dungeon, you'll then proceed
to the end of the level and face off with a base, the last boss. Destroy it and
you'll get the bad ending.
If you DO enter the dungeon and proceed to beat it, you'll get the good ending.
However... to be able to even see the dungeon entrance you need an item,
the Cleopatra mask.
To find it you need to warp to the year 0820. So, after beating the last
dungeon, warp to 0820.


Year 0820
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Find the dungeon entrance, once inside you have to go back to the fountain.
Go all the way up and enter the building.
Go all the way up, all the way right, all the way up, left and enter the
dungeon gate. You will now be at the second dungeon.
Go right, up, left (the water looks blue, but it's really dry) and up.
You should be in front of the fountain, and you should see a hole in the
ground. Just enter inside the fountain by walking through left block and get
the Cleopatra Mask. Now go down, right, down, left to reach the exit.
You'll be at the first dungeon, go right, 3 down, 2 left and all the way down
to exit. Now warp to the year 0001 to face Gordess. Make sure you buy
everything you need and make sure you have a ton of time pieces.

Year 0001
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Play through the level (or warp ahead) to reach Gordess. Defeat him and you'll
be warped to...

Year 2137
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
If you want the bad ending, play through the level until it ends and face the
last boss (a base).
If you want the good ending, play through the level until you find the dungeon
entrance. Once inside your time pieces will start draining, so you have to be
quick. This dungeon also changes its rooms, so you could enter one room and
leave the same you came in and you'll be in a totally different dungeon area.
So follow my directions carefully.
Once inside the dungeon, go right, up, right, up, right. You'll be on an empty
room. Leave the same way you came in (left) and you will be in a new room,
leave the same way you came in (right) and you will be in a hallway. Go up,
left and you will be in another empty room. Leave the same way you came in and
you'll be in a new room. Take the bottom left exit, left again, then down,
right and you will now be in a room with 3 exits. Just leave the same way you
came in (to the left) and then go down. Once you go down, you will
automatically place the 7 Secret Time Stones on the pedestals and you will
beat the game.
