SECTION I. HISTORY
------------------
Version 1.0 - 18.10.00 - Created the FAQ, and sent it to GameFAQs.
Version 1.5 - 31.10.00 - Added History section, rectified all known
spelling errors, added the date (numerical and full
dates), changed the first paragraph in Section II
and IV so that they make more sense. Finally, I
added the groovy letter art. Cool huh?
Version 1.7 - 11.11.00 - Rectified a HUGE mess-up in the history section as
it repeatedly wrote "Version 1.1 - 31.10.00" in
random places. Also, a list of sites were added in
the Copyright Section that have my FAQ on them (or
have my permission to do so when the site is
launched - good luck Freshed Baked Games!!). They're
also in the Credits Section.

SECTION IV. ACHIEVEMENT MEDALS
------------------------------
*Note* 30 of the achievement medals require two players. If you want to cheat,
you can just put a rubber band around player 2's controller to hold the Z
button down. This makes your N64 think there are two players rather than one
and an idle player. You need four players for the remaining six. Yet again,
you can use rubber bands for the other three players.
BLOODLUST:
*********
Start up a two player game, and pick one of the bloodlust levels (beneath the
large rotating skull). Set up the rules so that it's a 10 minute game, with 10
frags and no bots. Start the game and kill your opponent using all of your
weapons and their secondary fire function... including the Warhammer. When you
win, save your game and repeat the same level again by selecting it on the
mission tree. Use all of your weapons again and defeat your opponent for the
medal. Do this with all the Bloodlust levels to get you a total of 16 medals.
TEAM BLOODLUST:
**************
Set up the rules for a two player game as before. Pick a different team to
your opponent (you'll have to pick a team for player 2 yourself if you're
using a rubber band). Kill your opponent in the same way as Bloodlust, and
repeat the level for a shiny new medal. You can get 10 medals for completing
all of the Team Bloodlust levels.
FRAG TAG:
********
This time you need to set up a four player, 15 minutes and 25 tags match with
no bots... which means you'll either need a couple more friends to join you or
two more rubber bands. Make sure you pick the level from the mission tree, and
not the giant monkey head. Come in first place on the same level twice using
all of your weapons etc. for that map's medal. There are six Frag Tag medals
to collect.
CAPTURE THE FLAG:
****************
It's yet another two player, 10 minutes battle but with 10 flags. Kill your
enemy with all of your weapons and their secondary fire functions, then grab
the flag 10 times. Do this twice in a row and you'll get another medal for
your trouble. And yes, you will have to pick a team for your opponent if
you're cheating.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
SECTION V. TASK MEDALS
----------------------
There are 10 medals which you can only get yout sweaty mits on by completing
various tasks. You only need to do each task once to get the medal. And here
they are:
ATTAINED 15 FRAGS IN 5 MINUTES:
******************************
Does exactly what it says on the tin. In two player mode, waste your pal 15
times in 300 seconds (five minutes). Don't forget to use all of your weapons!
ATTAINED 25 FRAGS IN 10 MINUTES:
*******************************
Exactly the same as above, but 25 frags in 600 seconds (10 minutes).
NOT GETTING ANY FRAGS:
*********************
For either being as accurate as a bus timetable, or just being the Ghandi of
the game world. This is a 25 frags in 10 minutes game with two players.
KILLING YOURSELF 5 TIMES:
************************
Yes, you thought correctly. Hurling yourself into a river of lava or a dark
pit five times gives you a medal. Another two player, 25 frags in 10 minutes
match.
COMING IN LAST:
**************
Being in last place on the score board for any level will get you a medal in
four player mode (no bots). Just make sure you have exactly 10 frags less than
the guy (or gal) in third place.
TOTAL FRAG AWARD:
****************
Get an overall score of 1,000 frags in any multiplayer games (with any rules)
to get you this cool looking medal.
TOTAL BEING KILLED AWARD:
************************
This does NOT mean suicide... an opponent must kill you 1,000 times in any
multiplayer games. To do this with a rubber band, just load YOUR character in
as player 2. Kill player 2 1,000 times to get your medal.
SNIPING 10 PEOPLE IN A ROUND
****************************
In two player mode, set up a 25 frags in 10 minutes match, and kill your
opponent using the secondary fire function on the Plasma Rifle and on the Tek
Bow. Rack up 10 frags using a combination of the two weapons, then get the
other 15 in any old fashion.
NOT BEING KILLED IN A ROUND
***************************
Yet again, two player, 10 mintes and 25 frags are necessary for this medal.
Just simply don't get killed in the entire match, whether it's from an
opponent's speeding bullet, or the flaming hot lava.
BEATING THE COOPERATIVE SCENARIO
********************************
Simply grab a friend, and complete the two player trials together. Or
alternatively, if you don't want your friend to steal all the glory, use the
rubber band and let it draw the enemy's fire.
Apparently, in the American version, there's a bug that doesn't let you win
this medal because it's impossible to win the Frag Tag matches. Talk to
Acclaim about it, or buy a British (PAL) version on import.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------
SECTION VI. BOSS MEDALS
-----------------------
There are a further four medals, which you get for slaughtering the four
bosses, Bastille, Syra, Symbiont and Tal Set in the one player trials game.
Some bosses can't be fought with some characters, eg. Turok.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------
SECTION VII. SKINS
------------------
To unlock a skin, generally you must get two medals (there are some
exceptions). There are a total of 24 skins to collect. Below is a list of the
skins and the number of medals required to unlock them.
00 - None
02 - Turok's Second Skin
04 - Adon's Second Skin

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------
SECTION VIII. CHEATS
--------------------
By pressing the Z button on the main menu, you can open up a cheats menu.
You'll notice that only cheat is unlocked (Credits). This isn't really a cheat
itself, but it's on the cheat's menu anyhow, so you can see who the clever
guys are who created this astounding game.
You need medals (again) to unlock these cheats. Here's how many you'll need:
00 - Credits - See intro to this section
08 - All Characters - Unlocks all the characters to play in multiplayer
games.
10 - All Weapons - Unlocks all the weapons to use in multiplayer games.
12 - Unlimited Ammo - You'll never have to run away from an enemy again to
reload.
14 - Extra Modes - Unlocks Time Trial and Freg Fest without the need for
Mini-Game Icons.

SECTION IX. CREDITS
-------------------
First of all, I'd like to thank the people at GameFAQs, because without this
site, I wouldn't have bothered.
Secondly, cheers to Gergall, Icelord, JSoy, The Guardian, ZeroX2004 and RWoods
for all the tips and tricks I've learnt from your FAQ's. You people are my
inspiration, and without you, I would probably be wandering round trying to
work out my purpose in life. I've found it, and making this FAQ is it! Cheers!
Third, my thanks goes out to the good people at Acclaim, Iguana and Nintendo.
You guys are Gods. Really. PLEASE bring out another fantastic multiplayer
Turok on the new console... you know you wanna!
Finally, my thanks to Scoop and Andy-B for playing against me so I could get
all those 2 player medals (yes, I cheated for the four player medals). I hope
you had as much fun blowing things to bits as I did.
Oh, I nearly forgot. And you, for reading this FAQ. I hope you've found it
useful. E-mail me for help (if there's something you don't understand in this
FAQ). Most commonly asked questions will be added to the next version.
