1. Hints and Tips
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

*I've noticed that people who are third in the tournament (eg Kabaji,Yuuta)are
practically helpless against smashes. I was playing Kabaji as Oshitari and he
kept giving me opportunities to smash and almost all of them made it even
though they went right to him. Same case was with Yuuta except I was using
Momoshiro; P

*Don't keep trying to get the ball away from your opponent. If your playing a
big guy like Kabaji or Inui then hit the ball to them and THEN smack it away.
Since there so big the have limited reach, which will play a big factor in
return aces.

*When playing as characters like Ishida, Kawamaru and Kabaji try using the
Hadyokous and get RKO's which comes if your able to knock your opponents
racquet out of their hands three times. Make sure that the Submit Function is
on in the Options menu.

************************************************
RYO SHISHIDO
************************************************
Unlocking Character: Use Kaidoh Koura in Yamabuki
*NOTE: I've also read that it is possible to use Ootori and unlock Shishido

Serve:
None/Unconfirmed

Netplay/Return:
L+R+*B*????: Mad Dash
*Ryo runs like crazy to get the ball/ You have to press it twice (Once to get
there and once to hit it)
L+R+*A*????: Pin Point Shot
*Ryo hits the ball straight to the back of the court. Unsure of significance

Lob/Smash Return:
None/Unconfirmed

************************************************
CHORO OOTORI
************************************************
Unlocking Character: Use Inui Sadaharu in Yamabuki
*NOTE: unconfirmed but it may be possible for Shishido to unlock Ootori

Serve:
L+R+A/B: Scud Serve

Serve Return :
L+R+A/B: Scud Return ... well, don't really know if it has a proper name,
its a super fast return, only available when returning serves ...

Netplay/Lob/Smash/Return:
None/Unconfirmed

************************************************
MUNEHIRO KABAJI
************************************************
Unlocking Character: Use Takeshi Kawamaru in Hyotei

*Editors NOTE:
Is it just me or does this guy slip 'n slide all over the place???*

Serve/Smash Return:
None/Unconfirmed

Netplay:
L+R+A/B: Move Absorb/ Hadokyuu
*Kabaji slits his eyes and does a Two-Handed Hadokyuu; First shown in his game
against Kawamaru

Lob Return:
L+R+A/B: Drop Smash
*Kabaji jumps up and goes for a smash, but instead uses a drop shot.

************************************************
GAKUTO MUKAKHI
************************************************
Unlocking Character: Use Oishi in Hyotei

Netplay:
L+R+A/B: Acrobatic Play
*Mukakhi jumps up and hits the ball in between his legs

Lob Return:
L+R+A/B: Flipping Smash
*Mukakhi flips up and smashes

************************************************
OSHITARI YUUSHI
************************************************
Unlocking Character: Use Takeshi Momoshiro in Hyotei

Serve:
None/Unconfirmed

Netplay:
L+R+A/B: Disappearing Return
*Not sure of the name but it's a variation of Fuji's Cut Serve

Return:
L+R+A/B:  Oshitari's Moon Volley
*Like Oishi's Moon Volley, it must be done when the ball is about to be played
in your opponent’s court

Lob Return:
None/Unconfirmed

Smash Return:
L+R+A/B: Higuma Otoshi

************************************************
ATOBE KEIGO
************************************************
Unlocking Character: Use ANY Hyotei Player (except for Ootori and Shishodo I
think) in Hyotei
Serve:
L+R+A/B: Thunder Serve
*Not sure of the name but a really fast serve with a thundery thing over
Atobe's head.
NOTE: Sometimes it's not available for some reason

Serve :
L+R+A/B: Backspin Serve ... (not proper name) Using A will make Atobe serve
fast,
while using B will make the ball bounce really low and weakly when it bounces
on the
opponent's court ( that's what backspin does)

Anti Netplay
L+R+A/B: Teleporting Jackknife (again not proper name) its not the drive B, its
actually the move Atobe uses to counter Tezuka's drive volley in the anime,
when
Tezuka tries to mimic the way Atobe won the first point of the match. It only
can be
done when the opponent is at the net and the ball they hit will not go beyond
the service
line ... I spent ages trying to figure out the conditions to do his Net
jackknife ...

Return:
L+R+A/B:  Drive B
*Not sure of name but it looks exactly like the Drive B without the slide

Netplay:
L+R+A/B:  Drop Shot
*Not sure of name almost like the Zero-shiki Drop shot except it just bounces
up and if your opponent does get to it he just smacks it right back

Lob Return:
L+R+A/B:  RONDO TO DESTRUCTION!!!!!(CRAZIEST MOVE EVER!!!!)
*If you can do this you'll be astounded because this move is hellious!!

Smash Return:
None/Unconfirmed

************************************************
JIN AKUTSU
************************************************
Unlocking Character: Use Echizen/Kawamura in Yamabuki

None/Unconfirmed

Return:
L+R+A/B:  Burning Dive
*When the ball is about to be played into Akutsu's court, he slides across the
screen and returns it in 'burning' fashion

Netplay:
L+R+A:  Akutsu Beam
*Just a regular netplay special

L+R+B:  Akutsu Moon Volley
*Almost the same thing as Oishi's except it's Akutsu's and it doesn't have the
trademark of Oishi

Lob/Smash Return:
None/ Unconfirmed

************************************************
KIYOSUMI "LUCKY" SENGOKU
************************************************
Unlocking Character: Use Takeshi Momoshiro in Yamabuki

Serve:
L+R+A:  Kiri-Hiri

Return:
L+R+B:  Slow Opponent
*He slows down the opponent and then the game gets faster when it's in
Sengoku's court

Lob Return:
L+R+A/B:  Dunk Smash
*Sengoku Style/behind service line
L+R+A/B (in front of service line): does this really cool move that no matter
what type of lob it is, the ball will go out of court, while Sengoku strikes a
pose

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
4. SEIGAKU CHARACTER FAQ
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

************************************************

*The ball will return to Tezuka no matter where he is and where you try to hit
it

Return:
L+R+A: Tezuka Zone
*The ball will return to Tezuka no matter where he is and where you try to hit
it
L+R+B:  Zero-Shiki Drop Shot
*Unreachable Drop Shot that doesn't bounce up/I’ve been able to do this on the
forehand also
Return
L+R+A/B: Baseline Return. Can only be done when both players are behind the
baseline, and only
against some opponents (only found it can be used against Echizen, Atobe and

Return:
L+R+A: Snake
L+R+B: Boomerang Snake

L+R+A/B: Diamondback. Its a move performed at the net, where Kaidoh runs

gauge than a normal snake. Its from his match against Kamio, although in the

they don't really show it properly
