The purpose of this FAQ is to provide gamers with accurate information
regarding the Trainer’s Eyes in the POKéNAV, nothing more. If you are looking
for a complete walkthrough of Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire, you won’t find one here.
I suggest you check the Internet or at GameFAQs.

- 3. What's a Trainer's Eyes -
------------------------------
Trainer’s Eyes is a function of the POKéNAV; a device you receive from the
president of DEVON CORPORATION. The Trainer’s Eyes function in the POKéNAV
records the game’s predefined recordable trainers for that option. There is a
total of 69 (sixty-nine) trainers who can be recorded by the Trainer’s Eyes.
Eventually, you’ll be able to rebattle most of the trainers recorded in the
Trainer’s Eyes; something like the phone number swap in Pokémon
Gold/Silver/Crystal. You'll know you can rebattle the trainers when a red and
white box appears next to their name.

Q: How come Wally didn't show up on my Trainer's Eyes?
A: The Wally that will show up in your Trainer's Eyes is the one that is
standing near the exit of Victory Road, not the one that stops you before
you leave for the first time.
To get the "standing Wally" to appear, you mst defeat the Elite Four. After the
credits, and you've reloaded your file, go back to the end of Victory Road and
Wally should be there.
Q: How do I get Trainers to have a rematch with me? I've waited for so long!
A: Some people have emailed me saying that inorder to have them rebattle you,
you need to be on the same route the trainer is on for a length of time.
A method that seems to work well is from

"to get a rematch with the trainers in pokemon ruby and sapphire you walk from
route to route continuously. An easy way is to find the edge of a route and
walk back and forth between routes that is the quickest way.
The routes must have the trainers on it!!!!!!!!!!!!"
I've tested that method myself and does work.
Q: The two Trainers from the E-Cards are the missing "70th" trainer. You must
put them in!
A: They are not the 70th trainer. If they were, they would be recorded into
the Trainer's Eyes, but they're not. Also, if they were the 70th trainer,
wouldn't that make it 71 trainers and not 70?
