I) Introduction

There are many folders that can be constructed, but some truly and completely
use a new idea or revolutionize a currently existing one. Taking an existing
Program Advance (PA) and designing a folder to make it unbeatable, or
designing and incredibly destructive combination, these are the folders that
this FAQ is dedicated to listing and commenting upon. All of these folders
have been posted upon the GameFAQs.com message board of Megaman Battle
Network 2, and all have had the recognition of doing something special that
hasn't been done before in the same way.

Everyone has a different fighting style. Some like to perform a fast combo,
and win it quickly. Others like to bide their time until they can utterly
destroy their foe with an incredibly powerful combo. Some of the folders
within this FAQ are actually modifications of others in the FAQ, to show how
the original idea is still popular, even though its mechanics has been updated
repeatedly.

The best style for the majority of these folders, however, is HubStyle. Also
known as SaitoStyle, I'm assuming that you know how to wield it properly if
you're reading this FAQ. Yes, the beginner folders don't require it, but to
maximize the ability of all the folders, Hub is required. Notice though,
that I comment on some of the folders, pointing out that other styles are
preferred. I personally, am a fan of Customs. You will notice that when I
state another elemental style is preferred, it will always be Custom. The
other Style I believe works well with the folders is Shield. It doesn't help
the folder insomuch as it helps the player defend himself or herself until the
folder's combo can be used. I am NOT a fan of Guts or Team Styles, but if it
works for you, use it.

The purpose of this FAQ is not to force you to use these folders, instead, it
is to show you possible combinations to give you ideas to design your own
folders. You can use the folder as its given, or you may modify it to your own
tastes. Whatever you do, enjoy these folders, thank the creators, and enjoy
annihilating your foes. ^_^

(Side note: If you're searching for a specific Folder, Control + F and the
letter in the table of contents will help you out. Notice though, that because
I use Roman Numerals, you might get fragments of words, so I added a Z after
each numeral to ensure that you'll jump directly to the folder.)

(Another note: Most of these folders were gathered before 12/22/02, and may
have been altered since then. However, because this is a list of folders made
to give you ideas and advice when building folders, rather than just saying
"This is a good folder, use it", I have not updated them.)

(Tertiary note: You may notice that there are three types of comments on
styles used. "Recommended" will only be done by the Folder creator, in which
the style isn't required, element or otherwise. "Preferred" is what I
recommend you use, though any style of that element works. "Required" means
exactly what it says, in that you MUST use that style for the folder to work.)

(Final note before I begin: None of these folders are mine. I'm not taking
credit for anything but compiling them into the list that you see before you.)


II) Folder Lingo and Combos

You'll notice throughout the entire list, I will give out names of combos
widely known on the boards, and expect you to know them. However, you might
not, and I want to make sure that you can use this list as effectively as
possible, so here's a list of Lingo and Combos that you will need to know.

HolyAura3
This is the most widely used combo in many folders, and it's a real headache
to many folder creators. First, use a HolyPanel or Sanctuary, to make some of
your terrain Holy. Holy terrain causes all damage dealt to you to be reduced
by one half. Now, for the second part of the combo, use a LifeAura3. Normally,
LifeAura3 nulls all attacks up to 200 damage from harming you. However, with
Holy terrain, all damage is reduced by half. What does that give you? A 400
damage aura. The number won't change, but think about it. Instead of 200
damage, it's 100. To deal the 200 damage on the aura, 400 damage WILL have to
be dealt to you. This has been a combo of great frustration to MANY a folder
builder, because if you can't break a HolyAura3, you can't deal damage.

PA
Stated in the introduction, a PA is a Program Advance. What is a PA exactly?
A PA is when you upload certain chips in a certain order, all on the same
turn. Many FAQs have a listing of all the PAs, so I'm not going to bore you
with the schematics of how they work or how to make them. There are many other
talented FAQ writers who have explained what they are, so go to one of the
FAQs for info on Program Advances. Needless to say, a majority of folders are
based upon powerful Program Advances.

Gospel Duplication (Gospel Duping)
Gospel Duplication involves the fact that the game sends you back to where you
last saved after beating the game. (Beating Gospel) All trades and purchases
that were made aren't considered made, but the game DOES let you keep your
chips from beating Gospel, hence this nifty little trick becomes available.
Basically, you save, make a trade or purchase, then without saving, defeat
Gospel. After continuing your game, you'll notice that the purchase/trade
still took place, (you've got the chip) but the game doesn't consider it to
have. For more details, I recommend you check my friend Zidanet_129's FAQ.

Netbattling
This usually refers to just battling anyone else, whether it's an in-game
character or another person with a GBA. However, I will ONLY use it to mean
battling another person. Battling in-game characters is the same as battling
Navis.

Piercing/Slicing/Super Piercing
Exactly what it says. A piercing attack can go through shields (like Guard and
HubShield) and StoneBody. A Slicing attack can damage a Shadow. Piercing
attacks include Punches and Fists, Hammers, and Ultrabomb. You could also
consider poisoning (Geddon3 or PoisonMask/Face/Anubis) as piercing. ANYTHING
that is sharp and pointy is considered slicing. (Kunai, Stepsword, Slasher,
anything with SWORD in the name, shuriken...) There is only ONE chip that can
perform Super Piercing, and that is Guardian. The reason why it's called Super
Piercing is because when activated, "Punisher" will go through Invisibility.
There is a chip that performs a piercing attack beyond that of Guardian, and
that is Jealousy. While Guardian's Punisher will just break a LifeAura3,
Jealousy (if your foe is holding 5 chips) will deal 250 direct damage. No
matter what defense your enemy has, it will deal damage directly. However,
keep in mind that it does rely on how many chips your foe has at the moment...

Meteoric Hell Combo
The Meteoric Hell Combo is one of the most powerful and destructive combos
ever devised. Created by my friend, Geminipilot, it deals a potential 6200
damage, which is MORE than enough to defeat ANY single foe. To perform it, you
must use a minimum of 10 chips. First of all, Steal your enemy to the wall.
What this means, is that you must use 3 AreaGrabs, so that your foe is trapped
on a single panel against the wall, unable to move. Easier said that done.
Now, use a GrassStage, so that all Holy Terrain is eradicated. Now,
FullCustom, and select the 5 chips of destruction. Meteors (Not Meteor#, but
the Vs. Battle Chip, METEORS), Fire+40, Fire+40, Fire+40, Fire+40. Meteors
does 40 damage 30 times. Except, you boosted it by 160, so now it's 200 damage
30 times. Wait, the panel your foe is standing on is Grass, so the first hit
is 400, and the 29 other hits are 200 each. Math: 400+29*30=400+5800=6200.
Nice eh? And if your foe is Grass Elemental...OUCH...12400 damage.

Pseudo Meteoric Hell and Frigid Hell
Both of these combos were designed in the same train of thought as Meteoric
Hell. Pseudo Meteoric Hell (Also known as "Poorman's Meteoric Hell") uses
Blower chips instead of Meteors chips for a reduced effect. Frigid Hell uses
FreezemanV3 +160 instead of Meteors, which is still a reduced effect. (Both
deal 8 hits though)

Snakeman Combo
Ah, a wonderful combo. This exploits the hidden potential of a seemingly
useless chip, Snakeman. First exploited on the boards by Penguin Knight,
the Snakeman Combo does a nice 3150 damage, but is easier to perform than the
tricky Meteoric Hell Combo. Start by AreaGrabbing twice, so that your foe only
has one column to move in. Now, Geddon1 twice, or Geddon2 once. (Same effect,
it's all about chip codes here) There should be NO Holy Terrain.
FullCustom, and select the 5 chips of destruction. SnakemanV3, Wood+40,
Wood+40, Wood+40, Wood+40. Snakeman's snakes do 50 damage each, but you've
boosted them so that they deal 210 damage each. That's 14 hits of 210 damage
each, plus Snakeman's OWN attack if they fail to defeat the target. 15 hits,
210 damage each. Not shoddy eh? Math: 15*210=3150. Not bad, considering that
it's an easier to pull off combo. And Electrical enemies...OUCH...6300 damage.

BassV3 Combo
None of the folders here use this, so I'm only listing it so that you know the
potential FASTEST way to defeat ANYONE without using a PA. It's quite simple,
really. BassV3, Navi+40, Navi+40, Navi+40, Navi+40. 230 damage per hit, and
the number of hits is random. BassDX is toast within 3 tenths of a second if
you get this from the get go, so it's a VERY deadly combo indeed.

Refrigerator
Ah, the combo that WhizKid discovered that I so lovingly named. Proof that I
am a true Kirby fanatic, the Refrigerator was named because of its odd combo.
Using Electricity and Freezebomb, the Refrigerator reduces your foe to
nothing but an immobile IceCube, just sitting there and waiting to be shot up
with a buster. The major problem is though, that you'd have some trouble
getting all the chips required without conflicting codes. Nonetheless, it's a
relatively simple Combo. (And not very well known) 2 Zaprings (of any sort),
then a Freezebomb. The easiest way to start this off is with a ToadManV3. Or,
you could just use a Toadman then a Freezebomb, which is the way to perform
the combo with minimal effort. The reason why this combo is such a great combo
(though an almost impossible one to perform) is because it completely
immobilizes your foe UNTIL THEY LOSE. (Or until you break the IceCube)
UPDATE: Direct quotes by Halycon: "If you use it on a navi in single, the navi
is stunned (flashes yellow), gets hit by freezebomb, and flashes yellow for
about 3 seconds before turning into an ice cube. if you do it in multi,
everything proceeds normally until you hit them with freezebomb. When they're
hit by the freezebomb, they flash yellow for 3 seconds, then you see the
'ice cube breaking' animation... without actually seeing the ice cube. Then
they're free again." This is pretty much proof that you should ONLY use the
Refrigerator combo for battles with Navis. Oh, and Halycon had one more thing
regarding the Refrigerator combo that I felt was worth mentioning: "And
turning gospel into an ice cube is funny."

Varsword + Prism
Manipulation of the way the game perceives attacks is fun. Discovered by I
don't know who, this combo emphasizes the way the game perceives wave attacks
through an object that lets them pass. The way this works is that a Prism
allows waves to pass through while spreading damage around it. However, for
some reason, the game perceives a wave passing through a Prism (Or Elemental
Balloon for that matter) to be hitting it 5 times. Now, a VarSword can use the
TriSlashWave combo (Back, B, Forward, B) to fire 3 slash waves, each doing 160
damage. Now, depending on the positioning of the enemy, you can do two things
with this. Either have the wave pass through and end by hitting the enemy,
doing a very nice 960 damage, (Math: 160 x 5 + 160 = 960) or let all three
waves pass through, and hopefully have the last one hit the enemy. (This can
be ignored actually) This combo, will either do 2400 or 2560. (Depending if
the last wave hits or not) Math: 160 x 5 x 3 = 800 x 3 = 2400 (+ 160) = 2560.
Not too shabby, if I do say so myself, and a good use for VarSwords that
aren't needed for Double Hero.

The Levels of Poison
You know that Poison things, like Geddon3, Anubis, Poison Mask, and Poison
Face all are the weakest of all possible poisons. Hence, they have been deemed
"Level 1". You also know that Poison Pharaoh is faster, and hence, "Level 2".
However, there is also a Level 3 and Level 4. The damage for each is as
follows: (Major thanks to Halycon for finding these approximations)
Poison Mask, Poison Face, Anubis, Geddon 3: Level 1: 1 damage per 0.1 seconds
Poison Pharaoh: Level 2: 2 damage per 0.1 seconds
Poison Pharaoh + Geddon 3: Level 3: 3 damage per 0.1 seconds
Poison Pharaoh + Geddon 3 + Poison Mask/Face: Level 4: 4 damage per 0.1 seconds
The Poison Mask/Face has to be positioned strategically, and it's usually best
to use AreaSteals/PanelSteals to aid you in that prospect. As a final note,
the longest you can perform Poison Level 4 is 20 seconds per Poison Mask/Face,
because that is exactly how long Poison Mask/Face lasts.

The Purpose of Punch chips
This was pointed out on the GameFAQs.com boards by I THINK rockmanxv3, but
chips like Guts Punch and Cold Punch have a use besides punching RockCubes and
the P.A. Punch. They can be used to turn Prisms against the user, and
Elemental Balloons too, I believe. This can really wreck havoc with some
folders, so keep this in mind.

And now, on with the Folders!

III) Beginner Folders

IIIZa) WhizKid's
GateMan Strikes! (Formerly known as GateMagic)
============

Introduction:
This was the Original Legendary folder on the boards. Using GateMagic (Gater),
you could defeat most tough viruses and Navis with ease. Fact is, before
Gospel Duping was known, it used Attack+20's and Fan/Wind G's. It was still
amazing, even then. Anyway, this is a folder I recommend for general battle if
you don't have serious moral issues. (Or just cannot beat that stupid enemy
with an S rank.) NEVER use this is a Netbattle, because it degrades the match
into just who can press the "A" button faster.

Pros:
- Capable of an S rank on ANY enemy. (excluding Mole and Mole2)
- The LifeSword3s are useful for destroying HolyAura3s, as well as Shadow3s.
- INCREDIBLY easy to construct. NOTHING here requires a chip trader, only
Gospel Duping.
- One code. No compatibility issues.

Cons:
- No piercing, which makes StoneBody and the HubShield null both PAs.
- If your foe gets a LifeAura3 up, you may waste your Gater+60.
- Doesn't require ANY skill when Netbattling, and probably will result in a
loss of friends or physical injury.
- No defense (or no support for LifeSword3),
which makes this folder HAVE to be fast.

Final Judgment:
With some modifications, this folder can actually be more fair/cheap. With
more defense, this folder can be even more deadly. However, it's not a fun
folder once you've gotten somewhat skilled at MMBN2. Your foes will be no
problem, and honestly, how much fun is it just pressing "A" to end every
battle? That uses no skill at all. Besides, it's a cheap folder. You're NOT
going to use it in Netbattles, just because it's not even fair. This is the
type of folder that only a button-masher would use in a Netbattle. (Nowadays
of course. Back in the day, WhizKid was godly with it. But even he's moved
onto newer and more interesting folders.)

Introduction:
This folder was the first one that anyone had ever posted exploiting the power
of Snakeman. The Snakeman combo is good, and since this time, has been used
time and again to utterly annihilate foes. Considering that this is the first
version, many things have been added since then. My personal preference is to
add a PA and use Geddon1s instead of Geddon2s, but that's my choice. Anyhow,
it's a fun folder, and one that I recommend trying out at least once.

Pros:
- Snakeman Combo does 3150 damage, not bad at all.
- It can easily destroy a LifeAura3.
- Maximum of 2 codes, probably 1 code. (Edit it slightly)
- Medium speed folder. It has 2 possibilities of getting the combo out, and
with good codes, it's smooth enough to get out all the needed chips to use the
combo in time.
- Easy to construct. The only thing you might have trouble with are the
Wood+40s or Navi+40s. (Or Atk+30s)(Geddon 2 can be duped easily)
- AMAZING at busting Navis and Netbattling...

Cons:
- No piercing or slicing. It's fairly easy to null the combo. Especially with
the HubShield.
- Nothing else to rely on, meaning that if the combo is nulled, you're doomed.
- AreaGrabs can be countered, use Panel Grabs too.
- Isn't made for virus busting.

Final Judgment:
This is really an open folder. You can do a LOT of things with it. I
personally suggest inserting some BodyGuards, as then if you don't get
Snakeman, you can still deal fatal damage. LifeSword3 is another possibility.
There are really too many boosters, and Geddon 2 is the only chip that
clashes. I'd prefer using the S coded Geddon1 chips. Replace some of the
AreaGrabs with Panel Grabs, and this folder will be pretty much excellent.
Also, you can put in a BodyGuard or two to increase its destructive power
immensely. (I used Bodyguards and Snakeman in a folder I called "NeoDeath")
It's pretty much a Navi and Netbattling folder, as the combo just isn't made
for taking on viruses. This folder also doesn't require much practice to use
efficiently, especially with my recommendations. Good for beginners and
advanced players alike.

Introduction:
Fun with one code! This folder, created by the somewhat aptly named EliteMan,
is a good usage of both PoisonPharaoh and HeavyStamp. It deals damage quickly
and uses poison to get through invisibility. It's best for Navi busting and
Netbattling, and can work against certain viruses. (Mole2 for example)

Pros:
- Poison goes through invisibility and Armor, making it good against heavily
defensive folders.
- HeavyStamp breaks through Auras with no problem, including HolyAura3.
- With UnderShirt, Stonebody and Popup, it'll be tough deleting you.
- It's a medium speed folder, with adequate defense incase you don't get the
needed combo.
- One code. No compatibility issues.
- Relatively easy to construct, though some of the W defensive chips will be
hard to get.

Cons:
- This folder isn't really made for Virus busting.
- This folder cannot touch Shadow3, except for the poison.
- Poltergeist counters the PoisonPharaohs.
- HeavyStamp doesn't pierce, which makes the HubShield able to block it.
- Only 3 HeavyStamps and PoisonPharaohs. Once you're out, you're in trouble.
- The fact that it has 3 PoisonPharaohs is slightly redundant...

Final Judgment:
This is an advanced level folder in that you need to know what you're doing to
use it properly. Just rapidly throwing out the combos won't work, as Poison
Pharaoh can be destroyed, and HeavyStamp doesn't touch invisible foes. I also
think that if you lower the number of Poison Pharaohs, and instead put
something else in, the folder could be more deadly. Perhaps something that can
contend with viruses better, but that's up to you. Also, as a side note, you
might consider using AreaGrabs and Panel Grabs to place the PoisonPharaoh in
the backrow of your opponent's area, so that it cannot be targeted.

Introduction:
One of the more interesting folders is this one, based entirely around using
OldWood to the maximum of its ability. If you didn't know, OldWood deals 100
damage. Pretty lousy, isn't it? That's where the Grass Stages come in. For
every grass panel on the battlefield, Old Wood is boosted by 20. Now, there
must be an empty space for where OldWood is dropped, so the maximum amount of
panels that can be grass is 17. Taking the original 100 damage, and adding to
it the 17 x 20, we get 440 damage. Not bad at all. And of course, boost it by
160, and we get a nice shiny 600 damage. With a Wood Style, the UnderShirt
becomes very useful, as an extra chance can often be the difference between
defeat and victory. And of course, Toadman is there for stunning. Quite useful
against enemy Navis, if I do say so myself.

Pros:
- FAST folder. With a good draw, you can pull out a Toadman, a GrassStage, and
a Panel Out 1. (FullCust is preset, so use it as well), then hopefully you can
use OldWood+(at least)120)
- Pretty much one code. Very smooth going too.
- Remove the Holy Terrain with Grass, then destroy their Aura with Old Wood...
- Excellent for deleting many Navis. Especially Thunderman...and not bad for
Netbattling either.
- Pretty much undeletable with the Undershirt + Wood Style on grass combo.

Cons:
- Hard to construct.
- Isn't really made for Virus busting.
- Cannot pierce or slice, which makes defending against it easy. Time for the
Hubshield to shine!
- Nothing to fall back on once the OldWoods are used up.

Final Judgment:
The Old Wood Combo isn't that hard to pull off, but the overall folder isn't
that easy to construct. Mostly, I think that a few chips are extraneous, like
the 5 Grass Stages and PanelOut 1s. Remove a few of those, and put in some
more defense or perhaps some more ToadmanV3. (It makes it SO much easier to
pull off the combo) The only real reason why this is an Advanced folder is
the fact that the folder isn't that easy to construct, the fact that the combo
is somewhat complicated, and that the folder fails once you use up all 5 of
the OldWood chips.

Introduction:
This is a folder that I've wanted to construct for a while. An all Z code
folder, because all of the real "Power Chips" come in Z code. Variable Sword,
Gold Fist, Zues Hammer, all of the chips that really pack a punch without
being within a PA. Sure, the folder has a few quirks, but considering what you
can do with it, it's one heck of a fun folder. (Oh, and regarding the name,
there are two possible reasons. One is because it's all Z code, the other is
that all of the attacking chips seem to embody Zero's moves from various
Megaman X games.)

Pros:
- One code, and the folder runs incredibly smoothly because of it.
- Slicing and Piercing, no problem.
- Fast. You can start using power chips as soon as you start, instead of
having to wait for your PA or chips for the combo.
- Relatively easy to construct. The only thing that requires a bit of luck are
VarSword Zs, and those seem to come out of the Netopia Chip Trader at a pretty
good rate. (You can Gospel Dupe the Zues Hammers and Gold Fists)
- Can be used for Virus busting, Navi battling, and Netbattling. It's quite
versatile.
- Breaks Auras with the ZuesHammer after using Geddon2. (Use AreaGrab so that
your foe is right in front of you, then use Geddon2 and Airshoes, so that you
can hit them directly with the ZuesHammer.)

Cons:
- Slightly lacking in defense. Easily remedied of course.

Final Judgment:
It's kind of obvious that I love this folder, isn't it? It may have a bit of
trouble Versus HolyAura3s, and lacks slightly in the defensive department, but
otherwise it is arguably the most versatile folder you can make. If you wish
to construct a Zero folder, I do have a few suggestions. First of all, for
good damage, I suggest adding some TimeBom+. The reason is that there's a
pretty good combo that goes like this: Geddon2, TimeBom+. Instant 500 damage,
because the TimeBom+ cannot form anywhere except on the same space as the
opponent, and oddly enough, it counts as the bomb exploding. This would be
useful to ensure that any Aura is destroyed. The AirShoes keep your
maneuverability after Geddon2, but remember, it's only for that turn. (The
Airshoes wear off after a turn passes as soon as you step onto solid ground.)
I suggest an extra Invis3 or two, because that would protect you from the
ZuesHammer. Also, it's possible to AreaGrab, then set a Guardian Z in the
center of enemy territory, and send Satellite3s to start orbiting it, causing
constant damage. You can even use Zapring 3 Zs to stun enemies so that you can
pull off the other slower chips against them with ease. Other than that, the
Zero folder is one of the best folders, in my opinion.

Introduction:
A folder based entirely around the rather uncommon chip, LavaDrag. LavaDragon
is pretty good as fire damage goes, dealing a solid 200. The kicker is that
for LavaDragon to activate, it needs to be dropped into a hole. This makes it
slightly harder to use, and because of that, this folder was designed to make
the best use of LavaDrag chips.

Pros:
- One code, though with this folder, ANY code of LavaDrag would work. (R is
better, because GrassStage comes in R as well)
- Can destroy Shadows with LifeSword3, as well as fall back upon LifeSword3.
- Destroys LifeAura3s, using GrassStage to remove Holy Terrain.
- Useful for Navi Busting as well as Netbattling.

Cons:
- Can't stall if the combo fails to appear with the first draw.
- Can't Pierce. With a well timed HubShield, the combo doesn't work.
- Slightly ridiculous to build. See my comment about changing LavaDrag to the
R code.
- Doesn't bust Viruses well.
- Relies to heavily on luck. Besides its inability to stall, if your foe uses
a terrain change after you use PanelOut1, it ruins the combo.

Final Judgment:
There really isn't that much to say. Getting all the chips is just a matter
of Gospel Duping and being mildly lucky with the chip trader. Change the main
code to R, and you've got a relatively easy to build folder. Also, a bit of
extra defense instead of some extraneous chips (maybe a LavaDrag, Fire+40, you
get the idea). Other than that, it's good to go.

Introduction:
A folder that I greatly enjoy, this folder emphasizes the VarSword + Prism
combo. 960 damage minimum is nothing to sneer at, especially when there are
LifeSword3s and Twisters as backup. This folder really hits hard and fast in
an attempt to defeat foes as quickly as possible.

Pros:
- 960 damage via VarSword + Prism combo. Not bad at all.
- Very versatile. It can Netbattle, bust Navis, AND Bust viruses.
- Slices, so Shadows are not immune.
- Destroys HolyAura3s with the combo.
- One code, which is important for this folder.
- Not too hard to construct. 3 Prism Ns is pushing it, but that's the extent
of it really.

Cons:
- Not too fast. The combo itself requires the prism, and the set up takes some
time.
- Cannot pierce. "With the HubShield, Rockman can guard himself from most
attacks!"
- Punch chips can turn the prism against the you, so be careful of that.

Final Judgment:
Not a bad folder, not bad at all. I would add in an AreaGrab, just because
without the AreaGrab, 4 Panelgrabs will not get you as far as you would like.
(Remove a Twister for that) Otherwise, it's a pretty solid folder, if not
slightly lacking in defense. (Then again, many folders could always use some
extra defense.)

Introduction:
After Level 4 Poison was discovered, I felt that there was a need for a folder
that based itself on poisoning the enemy to death quickly. Considering that
your foe is losing 4 HP every tenth of a second, if they have 1000 HP, they'll
be dead in 25 seconds. (Okay, so it's not the fastest kill ever, it's still
incredibly fun to do.) Keep in mind that the PoisonFace also blocks attacks
like normal shields.

Pros:
- One code, which is a necessity in this folder.
- Good for Netbattles, and some Navi fights.
- Nothing is immune to the poison, so it pierces, slices, and goes through
HolyAura3.
- The PoisonMask/Face is a good shield, and will block most Navi attacks as
well as various other attacks.

Cons:
- Somewhat slow to set up and perform, as you need to Grab to the wall to
place the Anubis in a safe place, then Geddon3 and set up the PoisonMask/Face
near the foe.
- The PoisMask/Face does NOT shield you from a LifeSword3, making you depend
heavily on your Invis3s.
- Not very Versatile. It CAN bust viruses but isn't necessarily a good idea to
do so. And Navis like Planetman who are heavily secluded make this folder
nearly worthless.
- Poltergeist can get rid of the PoisonPharaohs, destroying the combo.
- Slightly difficult to build. Three Geddon3 * is pretty bad, and 2 Popup Ws
fail to make the construction any easier.

Final Judgment:
All things considered, Miasma is more of a "fun folder". It's somewhat tricky
to use, and way too many things can go wrong with the combo. But because
Poison goes through all defenses, it truly is a folder you will want to try at
least once. I personally think that there isn't too much to do with this
folder. You could remove a PoisonPharaoh for a LifeSword3 or something like
that, but you don't really need the direct damage in this folder. Also,
another Invis3 or Popup W can't hurt.

Introduction:
Ah, a HeroSword using folder. Considering how useless Fighter, Knight, and
Hero Sword have become, a folder that uses them is quite interesting indeed.
The name of this folder is interesting as well, as it comes from Tales of
Phantasia. (Arche has a spell, Indignation, which is the spell that Dhaos is
weak against) Anyway, the purpose of this rather amusing folder is to lock and
stun your foe by any means possible in order to nail them with HeroSwords, and
possibly the LifeSword 3.

Pros:
- All one chip code. This is never a bad thing, and considering how this
folder works, it's especially a good thing.
- Slicing, as this folder has plenty of swords.
- Can remove a HolyAura3 in two ways: LifeSword 3 or Geddon2 + HeroSword.
- Pretty versatile, in that it will work decently in virus busts, Navi busts,
and Netbattles.
- That damage can really rack up. One ToadmanV3 followed by a HeroSword is 380
damage, and the combo can be repeated quite a few times.
- Reasonably fast to perform. You can go for the damage instantly or start off by
locking down your opponent's area to move.

Cons:
- Cannot pierce.
- Bordering on impossible to build. 5 HeroSword Ts, 2 Geddon2 Ts,
5 LifeAura3 Ts? Don't expect to build this folder easily at all.
- Because you HAVE to use Normal Style, it hurts the folder speed. Adding a
few chips is almost a necessity.

Final Judgment:
This folder is pretty hard to build, but it's an amazing folder if used well.
Even though you're in Normal Style, you can get up the adequate defenses
quickly, then just add chips considering that you've fastgauged, it speeds up.
The only thing that I can think of that can be changed is to add another
LifeSword 3, and remove some of the extraneous chips. (Perhaps a few of the
LifeAura 3s, maybe a HeroSword or two, etc.)

Introduction:
In Megaman Battle Network 1, the strongest P.A. was GutsShoot. At 500 damage
on one enemy, and easy to construct as well, it was a great P.A. to make the
basis of your folder. Now, in MMBN2, it's been weakened to 400 damage. However
there's some nostalgia to be found in using this former ultimate P.A.
Considering that the strongest P.A. is now either Gater or Bodyguard, (depends
on preference of Time freezing or not) a folder that bases itself from the
past is an interesting idea. This folder uses GutsShoot as a basis, but has
GoldFist and CustomSword as back up chips.

Pros:
- All one code. There's NEVER anything wrong with having a folder that's all
one code.
- Slicing AND Piercing, because of the CustomSword and GoldFist.
- Can defeat a HolyAura3 with a GutsShoot.
- Relatively versatile, as it's good in Netbattles and against Navis.
- Pretty fast, as nothing truly clashes, and the worst you have to worry about
is a set up of the three chips needed for GutsShoot.
- Capable of destroying terrain using the Gutsman chips.
- Relatively easy to build, except for the GoldFist G and CustSword G.

Cons:
- Lousy against strong viruses, as the Gutsman chips cannot do enough damage.
The Goldfist is okay, but this is not the virus busting folder of choice.
- Overall, the damage is fairly low. 400 damage from GutsShoot being the most
in one hit, and it can miss.

Final Judgment:
It's a fairly easy folder to build, but not an incredibly strong one. It's
good against one enemy so that you can concentrate your attacks, but lousy
against a large group. You DO have GoldFist, which does great damage and when
unleashed via the combo, pretty much cannot be dodged. However, the defense is
a little on the lacking side, so you have to try to finish off your foe fast.
And given the amount of damage you're dealing, it's just not enough.
You CAN remove some of the extra Gutsman chips in return for some more Invis3,
but otherwise, there isn't too much to do with this. If you want a G coded
folder, there's always the infamous folder by WhizKid, Gateman Strikes!
Overall, it's not a bad folder though, and if you're aching for some of that
good old MMBN1 feel, go for it.

Introduction:
Elemental folders complimenting the elements of styles have always been
popular. However, what happens if you make an anti-elemental folder? Asking
around, I was given this excellent Anti-Wood folder by CrimsonKnight. This
folder uses a Wooduser's grass terrain against him. Sure, he's being healed
from it, but Heatman and FireRat can really deal some nasty damage. With 640
damage from a fully boosted HeatManV3 on the GrassStage, the damage is
pretty good, and it's a fun folder for dealing with those blasted Wood Style
users and their Wood folders.

Pros:
- This folder wrecks a Wood Folder with its lock down and high powered fire
attacks.
- A HolyAura3 can be destroyed by using Grassstage to change the terrain, then
using FireRat to break it. Heatman would also work, but let's have him be the
target of the Fire+40s.
- This folder can slice, so shadows aren't a problem.
- One code, so you've got a fast moving, fire blasting folder.
- Relatively easy to construct, with the only difficult chips being GrassStg H
and FireRat H. Getting an extra Fire+40 or two might be slightly difficult as
well.
- The damage is pretty good too, with FireRat dealing 400 on a Grass panel,
and HeatManV3 dealing 640.

Cons:
- This folder isn't really all that versatile. It's good against a Wood Navi
and in a Netbattle with a Wood Style, but otherwise, it's really not that
good.
- This folder CANNOT pierce, so the good old HubShield can block the attacks
it throws.

Final Judgment:
This folder centers on being able to lock off your opponent's movement area, so
that you can just pound him or her with the GrassStage amplified fire attacks.
I'd drop a Fire+40 for another Invis3, and maybe drop a FireBlade for some
more defense or more support, but otherwise, it's a nice anti-wood folder.

Introduction:
This is the folder that has become a legend on the boards. EVERYONE knows or
asks about it. It's mostly just a combo that has become a basic folder, and
from that folder, more have come out. This entire thing started when Gemini
noticed that AreaGrabs made the Meteors concentrate on the smaller area. And
considering who he is, it was only a short step until this combo was born.
(And from the combo, a basic folder was made) It's really not that great a
folder, more like a basis for everything else to work off of. It's also
incredibly hard to construct. However, with a potential 6200 damage (12400 if
your foe is using a wood style), it's nothing to sneer at. However, it's NOT
made for virus busting at all.

Pros:
- The combo can potentially do 6200 damage, which will delete anything. (And
that's more than Dark Messiah, which is only 6120 damage using the chips and
Atk+30's)
- Breaks HolyAura3, mostly because the Grass Stage removes the Holy Panel.
- Has LifeSword3 as a backup, in case Meteoric Hell fails to work correctly,
or quickly enough.
- One code, which is pretty much required. The reason is because it's a:

Cons:
- SLOW FOLDER. This folder CANNOT stand up against most of the faster ones
without severe luck.
- CANNOT be used against viruses. Try it. Die. It's that simple. (Slight
exaggeration, but seriously, it's not a Virus busting folder.)
- Constructing it is HELL. 5 Meteors R are NOT easy to get.
- Does NOT pierce. A well timed HubShield would DESTROY this combo.

Final Judgment:
This folder requires you to pull off the hard to do Meteoric Hell combo. It
has defense and a support PA, but it's really risking too much on trying to
pull off one major combo. If it fails, you're pretty much toast. Also, the
number of extra Meteors is ridiculous. When modifying it, try to have maybe 3
Meteors. That way, you can have more support chips. Otherwise, it's pretty
much a borderline expert/insane folder. (It's NOT going to work without a lot
of luck) Also, for a "Poorman's Meteoric Hell", you could use Blowers instead
of Meteors. However, this will require quite a bit of code swapping to get it
to work.

Introduction:
Considering the sheer power of Meteoric Hell, there were so many things to do
with it. One thing that it lacked was sufficient defense. So SciFi guy looked
for a code that would hold together the concept of One Code, and have more
defense. Amazingly, H code fits the bill. With a Wood style, this folder can
be VERY dangerous indeed. Also, note the loss of the Invis3's and the
LifeSword3's. This is a trade off, and whether it's worthwhile is up to you.
Although it still has many of the cons of the original  Meteoric Hell, and the
fact that Fire can now do 4x damage to you, it's still a pretty amazing
renovation to an already excellent folder.

Pros:
- Again, 6200 damage. Damage like that NEVER goes out of style.
- Breaks HolyAura3s using the GrassStage to remove the HolyPanels.
- Again, one code. It's required for the same reason.
- Undershirt will ENSURE that you will get an extra chance (and possibly some
more time) in trying to get out Meteoric Hell. With a Wood Style, you'll be
regaining HP every time someone forces your undershirt to activate, prolonging
the battle enough so that you probably can get Meteoric Hell out.
- The LifeAura3s make this folder have a better defensive edge, if you're
battling someone who uses attacks like Gater. (It cannot break the Aura but
CAN be used after waiting out Invis3s.)

Cons:
- Again, it's a VERY SLOW FOLDER. If it wasn't one code, it'd be almost
ridiculous to use.
- This is not the Virus Busting Folder you are looking for. Heh, I love FAQ
writer mind tricks.
- Did I mention that it's not easily constructed either? (That actually seems
to hold true for ALL folders with Meteoric Hell...)
- AreaGrab can be easily blocked. (easily fixed with PanelGrabs as a
replacement for some AreaGrabs)
- Do NOT get hit by Fire attacks while using this folder. 4x damage is DEADLY,
even with the UnderShirt...
- And again, this folder cannot pierce at all. Rokkuman, activate SaitoShield!
- It cannot even slice, which means that it's easily countered with a Shadow.

Final Judgment:
This is even riskier than Meteoric Hell. If you fail, or miss with the combo,
the battle is over for you. My personal opinion is to swap in some Panel
Grabs, and remove some of those Meteors in favor of a LifeSword3 if possible.
Some other support chips wouldn't hurt either. This is folder is also
bordering on insane as folders go, but it's not quite there. However, take
care in using this folder, because it's VERY hard to use.

Introduction:
This is one of the folders that was designed to be unique and interesting,
rather than useful. It's still a good folder though.  Again, this is one of
those folders that are almost required to be one code, otherwise it'd be
pretty ridiculous. It uses Poltergeist defensively, and bases itself on the E
code, due to HolyAura3. However, some of the chips are incredibly hard to get.
(5 Sparker Es? Not likely.)

Pros:
- Sparker on IceStage can do VERY nice damage. (1199 x 2 = 2398)
- Poltergeist is useful in case your foe uses PoisonPharaoh or Guardian. (It's
a good remover of statues and the such, without having to expend time and
chips trying to remove them.)
- HolyAura3 is good defensively, especially considering that the Holy Terrain
removes the ice from your part of the battlefield.
- One code, even though it's pretty much required.

Cons:
- Low to medium speed folder. It doesn't really flow, and you'll find yourself
cycling quite a few chips. (Extra Poltergeists, extra IceStages, etc.)
- No piercing or Slicing capabilities. HubShield anyone?
- AreaGrabs still can be countered, so Panel Grabs are always a good idea.
- Obtaining the chips requires EXTREME luck. The IceStages are bad enough, but
5 Sparkers and 5 Poltergeists, all of the E code too? That's what makes this
folder pretty ridiculous. A Sanctuary E though isn't impossible, but 2 brings
you back to the problem with Death's Falling Star.
- Don't even TRY busting NAVIs with this, let alone viruses.

Final Judgment:
This is a specialist folder. If you're a big fan of Electricity, try to create
a folder that is something like this one. It does good damage, and is quite
fun to use. However, it's pretty hard to construct. Anyway, I'd remove some of
the Poltergeists and perhaps an IceStage or two. I'd also insert a Panel Grab,
and maybe even remove a Sparker or two. (You can only drain your HP to 1 once)
Otherwise just add a PA that you like if you want. This is pretty much an
expert borderline insane level folder, mostly because of the difficulty in
getting the chips. (Much like Meteoric Hell)

Introduction:
Yet another folder using Meteors. However, this folder is unique in that it
also uses BigHeart. Like most folders with Meteors, it has the usual cons.
However, this can also be considered a fan folder, considering that few people
actually use BigHeart as a main combo for their folder. This is a fun folder
to play with. (This folder uses a Meteors Lock, by attempting to lock the foe
onto one panel, and then bombard them with Meteors.)

Pros:
- One Code, so it flows easily.
- This is arguably the FASTEST Meteors folder. It uses BigHeart as an
offensive, with Meteors as an alternate offensive. (Not Meteoric Hell, because
of the lack of Fire+40s)
- 1240 damage from the Meteors, and 300 damage plus full recovery from the
BigHeart. Fun indeed.
- BigHeart destroys LifeAura3s. (and Grass Stage removes Holy Terrain)

Cons:
- It's still a slow folder, as all Meteors Lock folders are.
- It cannot pierce or slice. Just block it with the HubShield.
- AreaGrabs will always be able to be blocked, so use Panel Grabs too.
- The Meteors R are pretty hard to get. Making this folder fairly difficult
to construct.
- Not a virus busting folder. Well, not unless you really like BigHeart...

Final Judgment:
This is a folder I wouldn't mind messing around with. Why? Because BigHeart
isn't really all that strong, but it's fun attacking people with a powered up
Roll. (I'm a Roll fan, obviously. She's not a very strong NAVI, but she's got
personality, especially in the anime) Again, I'd remove some of the Meteors,
and some of the GrassStages, and add some Panel Grabs (and perhaps another
support PA or some more support chips), but otherwise it's pure Roll fan fun!

Introduction:
The Kusanagi-no-tsurugi is the legendary Grass-cutter sword. The name is
fitting for this folder, considering that it is a GaiaSword folder. Although
this folder doesn't give GaiaSword the maximum possible boost, it works better
code-wise. In case you don't know, GaiaSword turns all chips selected after it
into Atk+s for itself.

Pros:
- Using Prism, this folder attempts to ensure that you'll hit with GaiaSword.
- One Code, which works very nicely.
- Relatively easy to build. (GaiaSword N, Prism N, and Geddon3 N, that's all)
- Pierces with NapalmManV3, Slices with GaiaSword and VarSword, and Poisons
with Geddon3.
- 960 damage with VarSword + Prism, and 1240 using GaiaSword + 4 NapalmManV3.
- Busts Viruses, Navis, and Netbattles well too.

Cons:
- Slightly difficult to construct.

Final Judgment:
An excellent folder. I might suggest a Panelgrab or two, but that's because I
am very finicky. Quite a few chips are hard to get, but otherwise, this is
another folder I'd recommend. I'm not a huge fan of Wood Styles, but this
folder is one that may make me change my mind.

Introduction:
Another HeroSword folder, but a more powerful and difficult one to use. This
is another folder that I greatly enjoy, mostly because it uses HeroSwords
while also wielding the VarSword + Prism Combo. The damage is high and hard,
and while you can't get a huge choice of chips to choose from due to being
restricted by Normal style, you've got some poison to add damage as well.
Also, the name just reminds me of The Legend of Zelda's Master Sword, which is
a legendary sword capable of defeating evil. Coincidentally, it's also has two
edges.

Pros:
- Slices, dices, and chops! You've got VarSword AND HeroSword!
- HolyAura3s cannot take Geddon3, and besides, you could shatter it with the
VarSword + Prism combo anyway.
- All one code, which is good considering that this is a slow folder due to
normal style.
- Poison as a substitute for piercing, which works quite well.
- Capable of dealing incredibly high damage, making this a powerhouse folder.
- Pretty versatile. This folder can deal with most viruses, as well as Navis
and Netbattles, though it may not fair too well in Netbattles due to its (lack
of) speed.

Cons:
- SLOW. With the slow set up of a Prism, and the fact that you've only got a
Normal style, let alone no FullCusts, it's a VERY SLOW folder.
- Difficult construction. 5 HeroSword Ns, 3 Prism Ns, and a Geddon3 N? It's
just hard to build.

Final Judgment:
A great folder, but very slow. The damage is amazing, but it could really use
some more defense and support. You COULD drop the Geddon3 and Repair to put in
two more Invis3s or two FullCusts, but it's up to you. Otherwise, it's a very
nice folder indeed.

Another anti-element folder, this one's anti-fire. With a VarSword hitting an
AquaBall, as well as AntiFire and UltraBomb, you're capable of completely
annihilating a Fire Style user, as well as his or her folder. The Toadman is
there for stunning purposes, which are always useful.

Pros:
- Slicing with the VarSword.
- Piercing with the Ultrabomb.
- HolyAura3s cannot take an Ultrabomb either.
- Fast and furious, with one code.
- Very versatile, capable of dealing with most viruses, Navis, and Netbattles
as well. (You've got VarSword and Toadman, as well as Ultrabomb, you shouldn't
have problems.)
- Relatively easy to build as well, with all chips available by beating the
viruses that hold them. (Except maybe the BigCloud, but that's not that bad.)

Cons:
- A tad slow. It requires Ultrabomb to shatter panels before you really get
any of the combos going, so you'd want to get that off the bat. You've also
got Toadman who can freeze, so it's not THAT slow, but slow enough for it to
be a con.

Final Judgment:
Not a bad folder at all. Again, like all other folders, it could use a little
more support and defense, and personally I'm not sure if the BigClouds are all
that useful, but otherwise it's fine. Maybe an extra FullCustom or Invis3
could help, but it's not REALLY needed. However, keep in mind that it's forte
is against Fire elements, and if you're not fighting something of the fire
element, you're removing the elemental advantage and the usefulness of the
three Antifire chips.

Introduction:
A Jealousy folder, designed due to the potential of Jealousy. Considering that
Jealousy relies on the opponent carrying a large number of chips, you want to
surprise them with it, then follow up with some hard hitting other attacks, or
just biding your time until you can pull off another one on your foe. It's an
interesting idea, and considering that nothing stops Jealousy, you could
easily take out a foe if used correctly. I guess you could say the name is a
bit of a pun with Half-Life: Counter Strike...

Pros:
- The LifeSword 3 can slice, so no worries there.
- Geddon3 for poison, so no worries with piercing either.
- Jealousy goes straight through a HolyAura3, and the poison of Geddon3 does
as well. Also, there are the LifeSword 3s, so HolyAura3s are truly not a
serious issue.
- FAST. Set up a defense, and just mash away with Jealousy and LifeSword 3s.
- One code, like all speedy folders.
- Quite versatile, as LifeSword 3s can really take out almost anything, and
the Jealousy chips work quite well on certain enemies. Viruses shouldn't be
a serious problem, though I'd be careful. Netbattles should be fairly easy to
deal with, although there's a lack of direct damage with this folder.

Cons:
- Building this folder is almost a nightmare. Jealousy E, Sanctuary E, Geddon3
E, these chips are quite unpleasant to get. And 5 Jealousy E's? Oy. Seriously.
- Lack of direct damage, which makes this folder fare somewhat poorly against
Navis. It may do poorly against some viruses as well.

Final Judgment:
It's an odd folder. If all goes well, you should be able to smash your enemy
with Jealousy and then quickly follow up with LifeSword 3. But really, it's a
bit of a gambling folder. You have to hope that your foe isn't using P.A.s, as
well as using 5 chips at once. Also, the defense is great, but the damage is a
bit low. I'd consider removing 2 Jealousies and a LifeAura3 for one extra
LifeSword 3. Eh, it's your call, this is a chancy folder, but it's definitely
an interesting one.

Introduction:
Ah, Lord Liu Bei's "Ultimate" incarnation of Meteoric Hell with the Varsword +
Prism combo. Notice that this folder is pretty incomplete. It has been
perfected since that time, and now consists of pretty much two chip codes.
(But Lord Liu Bei is crazy like that.) This folder pretty much uses good
defense and two good combos to deal massive damage.

Pros:
- Compared to other Meteoric Hell Folders, this one attempts to DEVASTATE with
the VarSword + Prism combo as well as Meteoric Hell. (If you don't kill with
one, you kill with the other) 6200 or 960. Neither one is shabby at all.
- Slicing, and can take down a HolyAura3 using either combo.
- Uses HolyAura3 as defense, which can be more useful than Invis3.

Cons:
- Without being insanely lucky, the chips are pretty ridiculous to obtain.
Especially the multiple Sanctuaries. (Requires more than one cartridge)
- The chip codes clash. Two codes is okay, but this would normally be a three
code folder. It's not bad, but it's REALLY hard to use.
- Did I mention it couldn't pierce? Again, the HubShield is amazing.
- If you're looking for a virus busting folder, check a different one. Virus
busting with this can make your head hurt. (Or cause you to damage your GBA)
- AreaGrab can be easily blocked, and so can prism. (10 damage isn't much in
comparison to how much the combo would do) However, Panelgrabs could remedy
this problem.
- This is arguably the slowest folder you will find, mostly because of the
hard to perform combinations. (VarSword + Prism is fast, but requires some
Area and/or Panel grabs first to ensure that the Prism isn't blocked)

Final Judgment:
This is an insane level folder for a reason. Again, the number of Meteors is a
bit redundant, and so is the high number of Prisms and Grass Stages. Remove a
few (one in the case of the Prism and Grass Stage), and try to get the * codes
to make this folder actually work. Considering the difficulty of that, it's
not necessarily worthwhile. And again, getting the multiple Sanctuary E's is
hard, if not incredibly unlikely. (Without 2 cartridges) There isn't really
much else you can do with this folder, other than use it to show your
dedication (and utter insanity) to use fun combos, regardless of how likely it
is to win with them. However, the amount of damage this folder can do is VERY
appealing...

Introduction:
This folder was created when I issued a call for a decent folder with the
Refrigerator combo. This folder was created before the Refrigerator combo
was experimented with, so it has 3 levels of Zapring and some Toadman chips.
Of course, it still fulfils the main purpose of freezing the enemy in place
indefinitely. The IceStages are there to double the damage of the electricity,
in the case that the combo fails to work. Like E.M.P., it's a folder for a
certain element.

Pros:
- Refrigerator is deadly, as your foe is unable to do anything at all.
- Toadman chips on an IceStage really rack up the damage if you fail to obtain
a Freezebomb quickly.
- Can break a LifeAura3 with the IceStage, and the IceStage removes the Holy
Terrain.
- Maximum of 2 codes, and possibly 1 code with some luck.
- Stunning, which helps you prevent your foe from attacking you with deadly
PAs and combos.

Cons:
- The combo is really slow, so you'll probably end up just cheesing out with
repeated ToadmanV3 on IceStage combos.
- No slicing or piercing. HubShield can block the stunning Electric attacks as
well.
- Not really made for virus busting. More like...well, I don't know...fan
Navi busting. The Refrigerator doesn't work in Netbattles either, so your best
bet is to abuse the IceStage + Toadman combo...
- Again, the construction is pretty hard to perform. You'll need a LOT of luck
with the chip trader, or quite a few modifications. (Whichever works better)
- With the IceStage, it gets hard to aim your attacks. (You'll slide past the
place where you want to be to throw the Freezebomb) I recommend inserting a
Repair to counter that problem.
- Anti-Elec can REALLY ruin your day. 400 damage hurts, and when done more
than once, it can utterly destroy you.

Final Judgment:
As stated before, this is pretty much a folder made for playing with the
Refrigerator combo. It also can deal pretty solid damage with ToadmanV3 and
the Zaprings. I recommend trying to make it one code (If you're lucky enough),
and adding a Repair chip to improve your aim with the Freezebomb. Otherwise,
this folder is pretty much the Ultimate Anti-Water folder. However, be on the
look out for Anti-Elec, as repeated amounts of 400 damage really nulls any
good use of this folder. Also, I might suggest removing a Freezebomb or two to
insert some extra defense. Otherwise, it's pretty much your basic insane level
folder, mostly because ANYTHING with the Refrigerator combo is pretty insane.

Introduction:
This was the other folder created when I asked for a decent Refrigerator
combo folder. After some experimentation, Dragoonman came up with the idea
that once the enemy was frozen solid, it would be an easy kill to use the
Arrows PA. Hence, after sacrificing all defense, he made a heavily offensive
folder. Again, the IceStages double the Electrical damage. This folder pretty
much is for the complete and utter Water fanatic. If you're going to slay an
opponent with water, why not do it with style?

Pros:
- ToadmanV3 can take down LifeAura3s with the IceStage, and the IceStage
removes all Holy Terrain.
- Refrigerator + Arrows = Dead foe. It's really that simple. (But not that
easy)
- One code. This makes it easier to wield this folder.
- Again, stunning. So even if you don't manage to perform Refrigerator, you
can always stun them to buy a little time. (Or attack them)
- Has to be used for Navi busting. It's a bit crazy, but this IS an insane
level folder after all. Just don't...(continued in cons)

Cons:
- even THINK of busting viruses with it. I admit, the ToadmanV3 might work,
but that's pretty cheap. Using the Refrigerator combo, you're NOT going to
bust viruses with it...not incredibly successfully anyway...
- SLOW folder. Getting Arrows AFTER Refrigerator is almost impossible without
extreme amounts of luck.
- Again, no slicing or piercing. You're going to have to be fast to prevent
your foe from getting up his or her defenses. (Or be incredibly lucky, which
is a good thing to be with this folder)
- It's VERY easy to slide past where you want to be with the IceStage. Repair
remedies this of course.
- It's very hard to construct. You need to be lucky, again. Or make some
adjustments.
- Anti-Elec again is your WORST enemy.
- No defense. No defense at ALL. Did I mention that there was no defense?
Good, because there's NO DEFENSE AT ALL. (AquaShield might actually be a
better style for this folder, because of the barrier and the HubShield)
- Again, the main combo cannot be used for Netbattling.

Final Judgment:
This is another crazy folder for those who like playing with the Refrigerator
combo. Again, it can deal solid damage just with ToadmanV3 and the Zaprings on
the IceStage, but this folder can actually do mortal damage once the enemy is
frozen solid. Anyway, I recommend a Repair or two, and ADD SOME DEFENSE FOR
(insert noun here)'S SAKE! Otherwise, this is an insane level folder that will
amount to QUITE a bit of fun. Otherwise, you've got a pretty fun folder that
can REALLY rack up the damage.

Introduction:
A folder that makes use of the Heat Style specific chip, BigRedWave. I think
that that's all four of them... Anyway, this folder is just MADE to abuse the
power of Heat Styles. With the BlackBombs, BigRedWave and GrassStages, you're
dealing ridiculous amounts of damage quickly. Let's just embrace the
pyromaniac that lives inside of us all, shall we?

Pros:
- One chip code. It's fast! Faster than Sonic! Well...that can be debated.
- HolyAura3s cannot stand a chance against it, as the GrassStage removes the
HolyPanels, and then even your Heat Style's Flamethrower can destroy it with
the GrassTerrain.
- Versatile. BigRedWave is a destroyer of all enemies, so this folder works
against viruses, Navis and in Netbattles.

Cons:
- Slicing? What slicing? Piercing? What piercing? Yeah, this folder doesn't
fare well against Shadows and StoneBodies.
- Nasty to build. Ten Netbattle only chips, all in P code? And then 5 GrassStg
P's? I'm not liking it at all.

Final Judgment:
There isn't too much to say about this folder, it's a "I'll burn you before
you can defeat me" folder. The defense is okay, but I'm not sure about the
support chips. MagBomb3 is good for holding your foe in place and ensuring
that damage is dealt, and Fan sucks your foes close to you so that you can
slam them with BigRedWave, but I think AreaGrabs might do a better job. Like
always, a little extra defense wouldn't hurt. Otherwise, this folder is insane
to build and easy to use.

Introduction:
A Poltergeist folder! YAY! Let's throw things for 200 damage each! YAY! Hmm...
not too much else to say about this one. Just place things onto the field, and
throw them with Poltergeist. To ensure that you can pull off a last ditch
effort, there's a Muramasa, and there's poison incase your opponent likes to
petrify himself or herself.

Pros:
- Slicing with the Muramasa...well, not my favorite tool for slicing, but take
enough damage and it'll do a great job.
- Poison with Anubis, so no problems with piercing.
- Poltergeist defends against poison folders, Guardian folders, anything that
places objects onto the field folders. (No Prism for combos, due to the
Poltergeist chip. Quite useful, actually)
- All one code, so you can start setting things down and throwing them right
off the bat.
- I just don't see this folder as very versatile. It seems to only work for
Netbattles and maybe Navis, but not against viruses. Then again, Poltergeist
IS good against almost anything, so I guess the versatility should go into
both sections.
- HolyAura3s really can't be destroyed with this folder. You've got Muramasa
and Anubis to get around it, but that defeats most of your folder. Then again,
the Remobit can destroy the HolyPanel, making anything thrown via Poltergeist
work...I guess this goes into both sections as well. It's DIFFICULT to destroy
a HolyAura3, but not impossible with this folder.

Cons:
- I just don't see this folder as very versatile. It seems to only work for
Netbattles and maybe Navis, but not against viruses. Then again, Poltergeist
IS good against almost anything, so I guess the versatility should go into
both sections.
- HolyAura3s really can't be destroyed with this folder. You've got Muramasa
and Anubis to get around it, but that defeats most of your folder. Then again,
the Remobit can destroy the HolyPanel, making anything thrown via Poltergeist
work...I guess this goes into both sections as well. It's DIFFICULT to destroy
a HolyAura3, but not impossible with this folder.
- The damage isn't that consistent. Once you use up the five Poltergeists, you
are down to using Muramasa and Anubis for damage, as well as the Remobit and
Guardians. It's just not enough.
- The construction of his folder is evil. 5 Poltergeist U's, 2 Guardian U's,
that's enough to drive you up the wall.

Final Judgment:
I don't know about this folder. It runs out of direct damage quickly, and its
defense isn't that good. Also, landing a hit with Muramasa and protecting your
Anubis is difficult as well. An AreaGrab or two might help, but otherwise,
this folder is insane due to its roundabout way of functioning and trickiness
in building it. It's a fun folder, not a serious folder.

Introduction:
And here's another anti-elemental folder. The problem was that an anti-water
folder couldn't be successfully made without a lot of star coded chips, which
I generally do not think highly of. (You can make ANY folder with lots of star
chips.) However, I had to make an exception, because of what this folder was
attempting to do was definitely worth taking lots of star chips for. Anyway,
this folder's main basis of damage is to Areagrab two columns, IceStage, and
then use Satelite3 on it, causing constant amounts of 200 damage.

Pros:
- One chip code...well, it's kind of required, because this folder isn't even
possible without a huge amount of star chips, but I've already given you that
rant.
- Piercing with the Guardian. Well, provided that it gets hit.
- Here's another case where destroying a HolyAura3 is possible, but VERY, VERY
unlikely. You can remove the Holy Terrain with IceStage, and then have them
hit a Guardian or hit them with Satelite3, but it's REALLY unlikely...into
both sections this one goes.

Cons:
- No slicing. So let's all be Shadows!
- Here's another case where destroying a HolyAura3 is possible, but VERY, VERY
unlikely. You can remove the Holy Terrain with IceStage, and then have them
hit a Guardian or hit them with Sattelite3, but it's REALLY unlikely...into
both sections this one goes.
- The basic combo is rather ludicrous to perform. You need to get away with
two area grabs, a guardian, and an IceStage. Then you use the Remobit and
Satelite3s to deal damage. The ElecBlades/ElecSwords are there to deal damage
as well. And of course, you've got Anti-Water if they even try to perform any
water attacks. Still...
- The damage isn't enough. Considering the difficulty of the combo, the damage
should be more than what it is.
- The folder is ridiculous to construct. Look at how many star chips there
are. Wait, I already ranted about this.
- Slow. The main combo is already slow, and there's not enough direct damage
to deal while setting up the main combo.
- Not versatile at all. The ONLY time you'd use this folder is if you were
fighting a water or ice Navi, or you were Netbattling an Aqua Style. It would
also work on water viruses, but there aren't enough of those to make it
truly useful.

Final Judgment:
This folder is an example of how hard it is to construct a decent Anti-water
folder. I think highly of the folder and its creator, but let's face it, it's
just not enough to get the folder working. I heavily recommend skipping on
building an anti-water folder for fun, because you'd need to have a SERIOUS
grudge against an Aqua Style using friend to build something like this. This
folder is truly insane due to the difficulty of the main combo, the difficulty
in building it, and the difficulty in dealing enough damage to make it worth
your trouble. If you want to make one, go for it...but it's not going to be
easy.

VII) Closing
I hope you've enjoyed hearing me give commentary on these folder ideas by
various members of the GameFAQs.com boards. Because I definitely died of
boredom writing them. Anyway, these Folders were supposed to be a guideline
of sorts, rather than exactly what you should use. My comments were also
supposed to be little extras that you might consider. Mostly though, these
folders are for you to tweak and modify to suit your playing style. They, of
course, are always available to be played with in the pure form as well. I
sincerely hope that this list at least helped you in SOME way, shape, or form.

Version 1.00- The first version. Whee. This contains all the folders obtained
            BEFORE December 22, 2002 and a few that came after.
Version 1.10- Added Old Wood, Zero, Lava Dragon, Prismatic Chaos, and
