1. Introduction
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This game is the next line of Gundam SEED fighting genre games for the GBA. Not
only does in includes the 12 characters found in Gundam SEED - Battle Assault,
it also boasts a further addition of 15 characters.
For basic knowledge, Gundam SEED Destiny's protagonist is Shinn, ZAFT pilot of
versatile Strike-like Gundam, Impulse. Three ZAFT developed Gundams, Gaia,
Chaos and Abyss was stolen by Earth alliance soldiers. Shinn and the crew of
Minerva now embark on the mission to retrieve the stolen Gundams...
This is my very first FAQ and is in no way totally accurate. However, I will
try to be as accurate as possible. You can email me if you spot any mistakes in
my FAQ, or if you have any information to provide.

2.I. Game Modes
+++++++++++++++
Main Mode - The 'storyline mode'. Fight against up to thirteen characters, with
endings and each character's winning quotes. In Easy and Normal
mode, you fight with 12 MS, the first 11 MS being random with
Providence being the last. Hard and Very Hard is similar to Easy
and Normal, but after defeating Providence, you will fight with
Astray Gold Frame Amatu Mina Custom - Mina. If you do not get
defeated at all in the first five battles, Astray will appear in
the sixth battle as an 'emergency' MS to fight with you.
VS Mode - Two Player battle each other via cable link.
Training Mode - Let you try moves, combos, and so on.
Survival Mode - Defeat as many enemies in a row as possible with only little
HP bar and Phase Shift regenerated back after each battle,
until you lose all your HP.
Challenge Mode - Follows the combo the computer wants you to do. There are ten
combos in all for each character to folloe.
Time Trial Mode - Defeat twelve enemies as quickly as possible. The first 11 MS
are at random, while the last MS is Providence.
When you have
unlocked Freedom
, the last MS will be Freedom.
Free Battle Mode - VS Mode against the computer.
Options - Not exactly a 'Game Mode'. Tweaks game options.
Shop - Mot exactly a 'Game Mode'. Purchase 'unlockables'.
* Instead of Gundam SEED Battle Assault, the game does not rely on passwords
anymore. Instead, it saves automatically, when you gained points or purchased
something.

2.II. Basic Controls
++++++++++++++++++++
Exactly the same as Gundam SEED - Battle Assault. Old players should have no
trouble playing the game.
Up (^) - Jump
Down (v) - Crouch
Forward (>) - Move Forward
Backward (<) - Move Backward / Block (You will not take any damage while
blocking).
Button A (A) - Short ranged attacks. Press with direction buttons for a variety
of attacks.
Button B (B) - Long ranged attacks. USUALLY uses machine gun by pressing
(B), the basic weapons for nearly all MS, so I will not include
it in the move list. Try to see if the MS have the weapon option
. Press with direction buttons for a variety of attacks.
Button L (L) - Special attacks. Press with direction buttons for a variaty of
attacks.
Button R (R) - Thrusters. Used in conjunction with (^) to boosts air time.
Select - Only used in Training Mode. Restarts the whole battle.
Start - Pause the battle.
Special Must Knows:
Berserk Mode (v + L) - Your character goes into a stance. While in it, it chips
your Phase Shift bar slowly, but increases your attack
strength by quite a lot. Must be in this mode to use a
character's Ultimate Attack. Recognised by your fighter
'glowing'. There are three types of Berserk Mode in the
game...
A. Normal Berserk - Applies to most characters.
B. Seed Mode - Applies to elite characters (Kira,
Athrun, Cagalli), following the Gundam SEED show.
C. Newtype Mode - Applies to special characters
(Mwu, Raww, Rey), following the Gundam SEED and
Gundam SEED Destiny shows.
Ultimate Attack (v + L) - All characters have the same command for the ultimate
attack. You must be in Berserk mode first before you
can use the ultimate attack.
Shield Breakers (< + B) - It is not sure that most of the MS have the same
button combination or even have shield breakers
attack, but the button combination given is the basic
combination for most MS. Shield breakers is a basic
attack which will 'break' the shields of an opponent
if they are blocking and if you manage to connect.
Animation of broken white pieces will appear on the
enemy MS, indicating that it is successful. The enemy
will get stuned and will not move for a brief moment,
making them vulnerable.
Guard Cancel - What this move does is what it literally means. You snap out of
your blocking move and does something else. There are two types
of guard cancel
One is the escaping guard cancel. By pressing
the thrusters (L) button when you are blocking, you will get a
brief period of time to move about. As for the retaliation guard
cancel, by pressing the short ranged button (B), you will
retaliate with one of your short ranged attacks. Caution in
using this. If you are unsuccessful in executing this move, the
price to pay is heafty. Unless you are certain you will get out
of the way of certain that your retaliation will hit, and since
you do not get damaged while blocking, do not use this move as
you will eat their attacks if you fail. Then again, if you
succeed, you will gain a huge upper hand if your opponent is
still executing the move.

2.III. Fighters Customisation
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Same as the Gundam SEED - Battle Assault, the game allows you to tweak your MS
stats before a Mode begins. Here are the three stats you can tweak...
A. HP Bar - The longer it is, the longer your health.
B. Phase Shift Bar - This bar takes in damage from physical attacks, thus
reducing your HP loss. Also used up when using some attacks or in Berserk
Mode. When used up and your fighter suffers the next physical attack,
your fighter will have an animation of balls spreading out of their body.
Some MS indicates by becoming a dull grey colour. Physical attacks refers
to all non laser attacks.
*NOTE* - Some MS DOES NOT have Phase Shift. If so, spent the
percentage on something else. These MS are usually not the
'Gundam' series.
- Some MS can regenerate Phase Shift which is lost, at a slow
rate. These MS are the nuclear Gundam series.
C. Thrusters Bar - You can fly about longer if the bar is longer.
Regenerates when not flying / hovering and not attacking.
In total, you are given total of 300% of stats to tweak on. A bar can be
raised to a maximum of 150% and reduced to a minimum of 50%.

2.IV. Types of Control
++++++++++++++++++++++
There are two types of control in the game...
A. Normal - This type of control is the easier out of the two. It reduces
attack controls to just a direction key plus the attack button
