---------------------------1. Introduction--------------------------
====================================================================
..........
When the Sun and Moon return to darkness,
the City of the Sun serving as the wedge,
shall be covered in a grand twilight
and give birth to a deep shadow.
This is that which brings end to all.
..........
The Solar Bay Django returns to his hometown, San Miguel, the City
of the Sun, with Master Otenko, the Messanger of the Sun, from his
journies through Istrakan, the city of the death.
Unforetunatly, San Miguel is still inhabitated by the Undead,
of whom were former living species, but due to The Undeadening, a
great curse made by the Immortals, they have now become the Undead.
What is preventing the City of the Sun to be purified?
Will Django be able to bring smiles back to the people of San Miguel?
And will he be able to bring back his "sun" for himself?
(Intro edited from Boktai 2 website)
Django continues on his quest to defeat the great darkness that has
shrouded this world as he returns from Istrakan, the city of death
to his home town; San Miguel, which has now been overrun by the
evil undead.

---------------------------5. Walkthrough---------------------------
====================================================================
====================================================================
- 5.01 Valley -
====================================================================
+ Items Available:
- Map x1
+ Boss: [None]
After the introduction, head north then continue going north. Otenko
will tell you about the Otenko Panels, you can ignore these for now
and continue following the path. Up ahead is your first enemy; the spider.
These are really easy to kill so just blast it with your Gun Del Sol.
In the next room are about half a dozen of spiders, clear the room of these
infernal beasts then open the Green Chest in the top right corner to obtain
a Map. The next room has a dead end, or so it seems. Go up to the hole then
press up against the wall using the D-Pad and go past the hole. If you do
fall, simply push the block into the crevice and re-do it.
Enter the next room to view a pretty cool cut scene of some cloaked guy
attacking Django and stealing his Gun Del Sol! Then two people appear and
start talking. After the cut scene you'll enter San Miguel.
====================================================================
- 5.02 City Gate -
====================================================================
+ Items Available: + Weapons Available
- Map x1 - Leather Armor x1
- Magic: Sol x1 - Gradius x1
- Sol de Vice x1
+ Mini Boss(s): Skeleton
+ Boss: Bok
Since the cloaked guy stole your Gun Del Sol, you don't have any weapon apart
from a few punches you can throw. Climb up the pathways then enter the large
door. In here are the most common enemies; Bok's. They are fairly weak,
unfortunately, all you can do now is punch, so avoid the Bok and head to the
next room.
Your first mini boss of Boktai 2. Mini Bosses usually appear in small closed
rooms where the most obvious clue is the word "TRAP!" that appears as you
enter. Once again, you can't do anything because your punches don't hurt him
(meaning Django is weak!). So you'll have to run away from the skeleton, head
east into the next room. Run east and open the chest to obtain an Old Sword,
now head back into the Skeleton's room.
=-------------------------\Mini Boss Battle/-----------------------=
- 7.01 Skeleton -
=------------------------------------------------------------------=
HP: 40
Attacks: Jump (0), Swipe (10), Touch (10)
Now that you have the sword, run up to the skeleton and start slashing at him.
After about 7 slashes he'll die. First major battle and it's a really easy
one. Not much of a strategy here.
=------------------------/End Mini Boss Battle\--------------------=
In the next room is another skeleton and a Green Chest. Kill the skeleton and
get the Map from the chest. Go through the door to the next room and go down
the stairs to find another Green Chest to find a Leather Armor. Head back up
the steps and through the next door. Dodge or kill the skeleton and go into
the next door.
=---------------------------\Boss Battle/--------------------------=
- 7.02 Bok -
=------------------------------------------------------------------=
HP: 50
Attacks: Klorofolun Spit (9)
Attack the Bok a few times and a small pink-haired girl will appear. After the
conversation you will have the Sol de Vice. Which makes you and your
sword glow, the Power of the Sun will allow you to hurt the Bok. So hit the
Bok a few times with your powered up sword to defeat it.
=--------------------------/End Boss Battle\-----------------------=
Now leave through the north door to finish the dungeon.
====================================================================
- 5.03 San Miguel Pathway -
====================================================================
A large maze type area, there are two Undead Dungeons in the southern region
and three ways out, two of which are blocked. I suggest you do the Undead
Dungeon first because it will save you some time getting an item for later on.
So head to the south-western Undead Dungeon (the other is blocked by a door).
====================================================================
- 5.04 Ruins -
====================================================================
+ Items Available:
- Map x1
- Earthly Nut x2
- Speed Nut x1
- Meat x1
- Key x1
- Red Potion x1 (2nd time through the level)
+ Mini Boss: [None]
+ Boss: Bok
As you enter Otenko will start talking to you. Ignore it and head to the
southwest corner of the room to get a Map from the Green Chest then head
through the door in the northwest corner. Ignore the Klorofolun and go down
the stairs, you can kill the Bok if you want, but it's not necessary.
The next room contains a steal gate and a switch, step on the switch and the
steal gate will open, but some Klorofolun will attack you, avoid or kill them
then continue through the door. Try to dodge the Bok's and Klorofolun in the
next room as they will deplete your health rather quickly if you stay in the
room for too long.
Outside once again, there's nothing here so go through the door to the left of
you. Ignore the Bok's and run up the stairs, dodge the Klorofolun and go out
onto the ledge. Kill the Bat's up here then press up against the left wall and
get the Earthly Nut from the chest and fall down into the hall.
You'll land in the middle of a platform, kill the incoming Klorofolun then
grab the Earthly Nut from the chest and fall down the far left hole. Once
again you'll land on the ground, so proceed out of the door then go left into
the next area.
In the bottom-left room is a Solar Station, you don't need to use it yet. So
go up the stairs to the very top room, stick to the right wall so the Bat's
don't wake up and hit the switch, then go to the very bottom room that's on
the right and hit the switch once again. Now go to the room on the middle
floor that's on the right and hit the switch, a steal gate will open up
somewhere. Go out of the room and into the room next to it, you'll see the
Gate is now passable, so go down the stairs that were once blocked by the gate.
Ignore the Bok's down here and go out the door. Go down the stairs to the next
room. This room is mainly a large staircase with a lot of Klorofolun, so run
down the stairs killing any Klorofolun that may get in your way. The next room
has three Bok's running around a block in the centre of the room.
The bottom-left room contains two chests that hold a Speed Nut and some Meat.
The top-right room contains two sealed doors, so leave them for now. Go
through the bottom-right room of the Bok Circle thing. In this next room, run
past the two Bok's and you won't get hit. And of course the next room is a
Boss Battle.
=---------------------------\Boss Battle/--------------------------=
- 7.03 Three Skeletons -
=------------------------------------------------------------------=
HP: 70 (each)
Attacks: Jump (0), Swipe (29), Touch (10)
This time you must deal with three Skeletons at the same time. I suggest you
kill the one closest to you first and then either one of the other two other
Skeletons. If they attack together run around the center block and try to
confuse them by hiding.
=--------------------------/End Boss Battle\-----------------------=
Once when you defeat the Skeletons, go into the next room and you'll see
someone in there. They'll tell you about the portals and then he'll leave.
Open the chest for a Key, then leave through the portal.
NOTE: The second time you play through this dungeon, you will get a Red Potion
from the chest next to the portal.
====================================================================
- 5.05 San Miguel Pathway -
====================================================================
Now that you are done, you can either redo the dungeon for a Red Potion or
head north to enter San Miguel's central town.
====================================================================
- 5.06 San Miguel -
====================================================================
+ Items Available:
- Dark Card x1
- Magic: Flame x1
- Chocolate Bar x1
Head north and you'll enter conversation with two other people. At the end of
the conversation you will get a Dark Card and the Flame Enchantment Magic. You
can explore the town all you want now.
Once when you're done looking around, go the southern part of town to find the
girl in the green dress, talk to her and you'll find out that she's lost her
key, so give her the key you got earlier and she'll let you in. Go inside and
talk to her again to get a Chocolate Bar.
Once you're done with the town, head north. A short scene talking about the
missing Solar Tree will occur, ignore that and go north to the next screen. Go
west as you enter then head to the north-western corner and enter the
Immortal's Dungeon.
====================================================================
- 5.07 Immortal I: Cathedral -
====================================================================
+ Items Available: + Weapons Available
- Earthly Nut x2 - Club x1
- Solar Nut x4 - Dull Blade x1
- Green Potion x1 - Pounder x1
- Solar Leaf x2 - Quarter Staff x1
- Map x2 - Short Spear x1
- Banana x3 - Sword x1
- Red Potion x1
- Speed Nut x1 - Enchantment Available
- Triangle Key x2
- Antidote x2
- Card x1
- Circle Key x1
+ Mini Boss(s): Three Skeletons, Four Boks
+ Boss: White Duneyrr the Sky-ruling Immortal
The first Immortal Dungeon of the game. Head north on the first screen then
push the block into the hole. Get the Earthly Nut from the chest, now head
south and get the Solar Nut from the chest. Go north and push the box up so
you can go west to push another block into the hole. You can take the right
path for a Earthly Nut then go west and north, the far right path has a Green
Potion, when you're done go north to the next screen.
A short cut scene about a Black Cat will occur, when it finishes go north and
collect the Solar Leaf and a Map from the chests then go east to the next
screen.
A box puzzle. Go around and push the box closest to the Green Chest north into
the crevice then push the box next to the stairs east and then south. Climb up
the stairs and get the Hammer from the chest. Go back to the previous screen
where you saw the cat and head south.
Smash the box in front of you using the Hammer then push the block into the
hole, get the banana from the chest and push the other block east once then
south all the way so it fills up the void in the large center hole. Now go
east to the next screen by destroying the box that's in the way. You'll see
two large statues and an Otenko Panel, ignore them and continue east. This
screen features a graveyard and a Hell Hound. Don't try to kill the Hell Hound
because it is too strong for you right now. Push the following graves (as
shown in the diagram):

Once when you push them all some stairs will appear in the previous screen. So
obviously, go down them. Down in the underground, push the block onto the
switch to raise the steel gate, go to the next room.
Run past the Bok's here and go into the next room. Grab the Solar Nut from the
chest then run down south on the east wall and go through the door. In the
next room change your element from Solar to Flame if you haven't already done
so and hit the switch to be able to see everything in the room. The next room
has a Guard Bok, so light the candles and tap on the wall inside of the
big 'L' to get the Bok's attention, now quickly run around the opposite side
of the Bok and go through the door.
In the next room stand in the middle of the two candle things and tap B to use
your sword, your sword will light all the candles in one sweep, ignore the
third candle rack and go through the door.
Another box puzzle. Go down the stairs and move the box closest to the Otenko
Panel south twice and then west until it hits the wall (so it goes in between
the staircase and the platform). Move the other box east twice and go up the
stairs, go around and hit the switch to open the door.
In the next room I suggest you change your weapon to the Hammer with the Flame
element. Hit one of the switches then hit the other and hit the switch so the
door stays open.
In the next room you have to be fast, you can change back your weapon to the
sword (since it's faster to use) also make sure the Flame element is still on.
Hit the candles in front of you then press up against the wall and go across
the gap and hit the next candle rack then go through the door.
Now change your weapon to the Hammer and go on the elevator, when the elevator
is level with one of the switches, hit it! Then hit the other switch when the
elevator is level with it, this will allow the elevator to go all the way up.
When you're done go up the stairs to the next room.
Otenko will scan the room, don't worry there's nothing there, open the Green
Chest next to you to get the Church Map. You should recharge your Energy bar
by going to the skylight in the west part of the room, save then go through
the door.
A very short cut scene of the Black Cat going down some secret stairs will
play. When it's finished it's time to kill some Skeleton's! Again!
=-------------------------\Mini Boss Battle/-----------------------=
- 7.04 Three Skeletons -
=------------------------------------------------------------------=
HP: 70 (each)
Attacks: Jump (0), Swipe (28), Touch (8)
Now that you have the Hammer, killing the skeleton's will be a bit easier. Go
around to the back of each and hit them with the hammer, continue hammering
away at them until they die.
=------------------------/End Mini Boss Battle\--------------------=
YELLOW ORB:
When you defeat the Three Skeletons a Green Chest will materialize, inside
will be a Yellow Orb. I suggest you go trough the north door, push the box
onto the north switch and go through the door. Get the Red Potion from the
chest then recharge your energy with the light coming through the windows. Now
go back and push the box onto the southern switch (you can't open the middle
door yet). Get the Solar Nut and the Speed Nut from the chests then go back to
the Trap! room.
This time take the south-western door. Open the chest for a Solar Leaf then go
around and stand on the switch, press up against the wall and tap on it to get
the local Bok's attention, run up to the gate and wait for the Bok to stand on
the switch then go up the stairs.
Go right and press A on the yellow wall behind the Candle Rack to place the
Yellow Orb you got onto it. Now push the box below you south twice then
destroy the two boxes that are up on the wall and push the old box into the
hole. Go across then destroy each of the boxes with your Hammer, then push the
last one onto the hole and get the Triangle Key from the Purple Chest. Now go
back around and use the skylight to recharge your energy and go back to the
Trap! room then through the north-eastern door.
Go up the stairs then go through the door for another mini-boss.
=-------------------------\Mini Boss Battle/-----------------------=
- 7.05 Four Boks -
=------------------------------------------------------------------=
HP:
- Green Bok: 140
- Purple Bok: 300
Attacks: Klorofolun Spit (9), Touch
Pretty much the same as all the other Bok's. Except this time you have a
Hammer, so use the Hammer and hit them all in the back for the most damage.
=------------------------/End Mini Boss Battle\--------------------=
When you've finished off the Bok's go east through the Steal Gate and go to
the next room. Fall down the gap and get the Spear from the chest. Now go down
and through the bottom-right door. Head to the eastern part of the room and
use your Spear to hit the switch, the door will open so go up the stairs.
This room can be split into two parts, the top and bottom. The bottom (which
you are now on) is where you would continually come back to if you fell from
the top. The top room is basically a maze, but if you take the wrong path you
fall down the bottom room. Smash a box in your way with the Hammer then go up
the stairs, follow the below map to make it safely to the Otenko panel:
______________
| O E::::| |
| ¯X¯¯ | LEGEND
_| X | E = Entrance/Exit
|E MXM M | : = Stairs
¯| X X | M = Pillars
| M M M | X = Trap
| X | O = Orb Hole
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
If you can read that map, then it should be fairly easy. Otherwise stay on the
left wall and go down then go east and stop just before the final Pillar, here
go north and east to clear the trap then check the Otenko Panel. Now head back
to the Trap! room by going back a few screens.
RED ORB:
Go through the north-eastern door (the one that actually has a door). The Red
Orb is somewhere in this room, it's random for everyone so kill the Bok's and
look for a glint of yellow near a skylight. This will show you where the Red
Orb is, so press the A button on the glint of yellow.
Still in the same room as the Red Orb, use your Spear and the Flame element
and light the candles, some stairs will appear, so go down them. Press up
against the wall and go across the gap then go up the stairs.
BLUE ORB:
Outside once again, push the block into the hole then go around to the next
screen. Go up to the entrance of the Church and using the spear, hit the Lion
Statues until they crumble. A Green Chest will now materialize on a platform,
inside is the Blue Orb.
Now go all the way back to the room with the Red Orb through the way you just
opened up and go up the stairs. Head east and go to the next room, press up
against the wall and go past the gap to the next room. The Library contains a
book puzzle, follow the directions below and you should finish it easily:

NOTE: If the gate doesn't open up, make sure you check the Otenko Panel that
was mentioned above and answer YES to all the switches.
NOTE2: The Books you should read are:
1. “Walking in the Wilderness”
“Words of the Last Dragon”
2. “Nightmare of the Abyss”
“Overheating: The Risk of Too Much Sun”
3. “Rules of a Gunslinger”
“Spiral Folklore”
4. “Curses and Purification”
“Doomsday Reincarnation”
Each of the books you check will ask a question, just choose the first option
for each and the gates will open. Also make sure you collect the Antidote from
the chest so you can heal yourself from any poison you may get then go through
the door.
Open the chest for another Antidote then follow the path to the elevator,
another puzzle room, below are the labels of the boxes for easy reference.
1 = The crate that started on the top.
2 = The crate on the far left
3 = The crate in the middle
4 = The crate on the far top/right
So here are the steps of how to do this puzzle:
1. Push crate 1 east so it falls to the ground.
2. Push crate 1 south so it hits the wall.
3. Destroy crate 3
4. Push crate 4 into the northern crevice behind it
5. Climb up and hit the southern switch
6. Destroy crate 2
7. Push crate 1 east once
8. Push crate 1 north into the crevice.
Now climb up the stairs and hit the switch, the gate will open, head south on
the path and open the chest for a Banana and Triangle Key, now go through the
eastern door.
GREEN ORB:
Equip the Spear and the Flame element, now go on the platform and hit each of
the candle racks so they light up. The platform will go all the way now.
Another box puzzle, move the box in front of you west once then north into the
hole. Now move the second box west four times, open the chest for a Solar Nut
and move the box all the way to the eastern wall and then move it again south
onto the switch. Go up the stairs and hit the switch and get the Green Orb
from the newly materialized chest.
Now go back to where you checked the Otenko Panel, light the candles and place
the Orbs in the holes. Now go right and open the door with your Triangle Key,
light the candles and place the final Orb in the hole. Some stairs will appear
in the entrance room of the Church (otherwise known as the Trap! room).
Go down the stairs and move the south-eastern box east once so you can go
through to the other box. If you want, you can check the Otenko Panel for
the Orb’s text. So move the northern-most box south once then go around and
move the western-most box east once and move the eastern-most box west once
so it makes a path to the Otenko Panel (check it of course). Now go all
the way back to the Church Entrance Room, go down the stairs and be prepared
for the Immortal fight.
=---------------------------\Boss Battle/--------------------------=
- 7.06 White Duneyrr the Sky-ruling Immortal -
=------------------------------------------------------------------=
HP: 500
Attacks: Poison Spread (1), touch (13), Swoop (30)
At the start of the battle, equip your spear and attack it until it starts to
fly high. Now equip your hammer and hit the four switches around the room so
the lights turn on, the Moth will stop attacking and will instead be
fascinated by the bright lights of the candles, this is your best chance to
attack it and keep at it until it dies. Also watch out for the larvae that
spawn because they can get quite annoying.
=--------------------------/End Boss Battle\-----------------------=
When she is killed, she will be placed into a coffin, you have to drag this
coffin all the way to the centre of town. So head north dragging the coffin
and you will meet the San Miguel Blacksmith. When the conversation is over,
open the chest for a Card thing. Now take the coffin back a room then go
south, hit the Green Sol Holder to regain your health and use the Solar
Station to recharge your energy. Now drag the coffin up the stairs and take
into the north-west room.
Place the coffin on one of the switches, move the box onto another switch and
stand on the final switch to open the gate. Keep the coffin there and go
through the door. Tap on one of the walls to get the Bok's attention then open
the Purple Chest for a Circle Key then open the three Green Chests in the
north of the room for a Pounder, Quarter Staff and Dull Blade (there's also
another Banana in the corner). Equip them if you like then head back out to
the main room, drag the coffin and leave through the front door of the Church.
====================================================================
- 5.08 San Miguel -
====================================================================
Head south all the way until you get back to town in which Otenko will summon
a Pile Driver. Place the coffin in the center of the Pile Driver then hit each
of the Solar Sensors, Save and press A on the glowing white circle.
[ PURIFICATION ] ---------------------------------------------------
Use a sword or something quick with the Sol element on and continue hitting
one of the Solar Sensors if it gets turned off by the moth. Keep doing this
for a while and you should win.
--------------------------------------------------- [ PURIFICATION ]
After you finish the purification, a conversation between Django and Otenko
will occur and then the two will run south to see Lita looking at the Solar
Tree and another conversation will start.
After that, head south all the way until you see the Blacksmith standing next
to a little girl, join in on the conversation by talking to the Blacksmith.
After the relatively short cut scene head to the town Inn and you'll see the
pink-haired girl asleep at the bar, talk to her and she'll give you the Ice
Element.
When the conversation finishes head east to the next screen, go east here and
smash the box then go down the long stairs and Otenko will say something, then
go through to the next screen.

+ Boss: Vampire
As you enter Otenko will stop you and say something, ignore this and head up
the stairs then either kill or avoid the bats here to get into the next room.
You'll enter a large room with two Clay Golems walking around, ignore them and
head west to the next room.
Recharge your energy if you have to, otherwise go up the stairs. Open the
chest for a Chocolate Bar then go east into a fight with some Bats.
=-------------------------\Mini Boss Battle/-----------------------=
- 7.07 Seven Vampire Bats -
=------------------------------------------------------------------=
HP: 40 (each)
Attacks: Touch (28)
Equip the Spear and Solar Element then wait until the Bats are close to you
and run south, you'll dodge all of the Bats, then about half-way around this
side, stop, turn around and attack them with your spear. Now run around again
until the Bats are pretty far away then stop, wait for them to get close and
attack. This method kills about 50-90% of the Bats each time, depending where
you aim. Also this method allows you to save all your Health for later if its
done right.
=------------------------/End Mini Boss Battle\--------------------=
Now head east and a yellow blob creature will fall down, attack it a few times
then run past it and the second blob thing, ignore the right pathway and go
through the door on the left. Push the block south then go back out and into
the door next to you.
The trick to this room is your Sunlight Blocks. The more blocks of sunlight
you have, the worse the wind is. The less blocks of sunlight make the wind
more subtle. No blocks of sunlight and there won't be any wind. So cover up
your Solar Sensor and keep it covered up.
Run past the flame jets then go onto the platform, strike the candle rack with
your Flame Element and your Spear (or another weapon, but the spear is needed
for the next 20 seconds or so). When the platform is moving, ready your Spear
and aim to the south-eastern corner and when you see a Candle Rack on another
platform strike it so it lights up. This will allow you to go to the next
walkway.
Dodge the flame jets and go into the next room. Another villager is here,
during the conversation he will give you the Frost Element and then leave.
Take the northern path to get the Map, now go south and go through the wind
cave once again to come back outside. This time take the right path and go
down the stairs.
Use the Frost Element to extinguish the flame and the little Flame Balls then
go through the door. Push the block in front of you into the crevice then
continue going west to the next door. Equip the Flame Element then kill the
Ice Balls and melt all of the Ice Blocks to get a Banana and a Chocolate Bar
then go through the door. Equip the Frost Element and hit the Floating Cube so
it freezes and falls to the ground then go through the door.
=-------------------------\Mini Boss Battle/-----------------------=
- 7.08 Floating Sword -
=------------------------------------------------------------------=
HP: 480
Attacks: Stab (36), Mini-Swords (31), Shadow Dance (36), Touch (36)
This is a fairly simple battle; I suggest you equip the sword with whatever
element you want, but don't use the element because it will just waste your
energy. So run around the room dodging the Sword's Stab attack then attack it.
When it summons up the mini-swords just stand back and keep slashing so when a
mini-sword flies at you, you will hit it back at the Big Sword doing 42 points
of damage each time!
When the sword draws upon two Shadow Swords, don't go near it, instead just
wait it over then keep attacking it with the above strategies.
=------------------------/End Mini Boss Battle\--------------------=
When the battle is over a Green Chest materializes containing a Blue Card. Now
go to the next room.
=-------------------------\Mini Boss Battle/-----------------------=
- 7.09 Two Yellow Slimes -
=------------------------------------------------------------------=
HP: 80
Attacks: Jump (5), Touch (5)
A really simple fight, as long as you don't attack the Blobs with any of your
weapons. Move the southern-most block west once then north so it squashes the
yellow Blob then move the northern-most block west once then north twice to
squash the other yellow blob.
=------------------------/End Mini Boss Battle\--------------------=
Now go through the door for another battle.
=-------------------------\Mini Boss Battle/-----------------------=
- 7.10 Four Golems -
=------------------------------------------------------------------=
HP: 120 (each)
Attacks: Roll (26), Touch (16)
Much like the previous Golem fight; dodge and make them crash into each other
then hit them with the Hammer when they are dazed. Just try not to get the
attention of too many Golems are else it will be harder for you.
=------------------------/End Mini Boss Battle\--------------------=
Now go through the door, push the stone block into the crevice and get the
Triangle Key from the Purple Chest and go through the door. Go through the
next door ignoring the stairs then ignore all of the enemies in this large
room and open the Purple Door with your Triangle Key. A cut scene will occur
about Sabata. When he asks you a question, choose the second option, otherwise
he will just repeat what he said.
When the conversation is finished go to the room on the right and go up the
stairs. Open the chest on the left for a Red Potion but ignore the chest to
the right of it because it's a fake chest. You can open the other two chests
for a Green Potion and a Solar Leaf. When you're done go through the door.
This room contains a cool looking puzzle with two blocks and two color
switches. Move either the red or blue blocks to the center of the room then
push it south four times so it's in the middle-left of the blank pathway. Now
go back up and push the other block onto its corresponding colored switch. Now
go back and push the other block north so it's in the center of the room once
again and push it onto its switch to open the gate.
The next room also has a puzzle. Firstly push the Stone Block into the
crevice, which reveals an Otenko Panel. Now Equip the Sword and the Cloud
Element (the one Sabata gave you). Go on the left of the Floating Cube and hit
it with your sword so it moves to the right once. Now equip the Spear with the
Dark Element and go south so you're under the Cube and hit it. This will make
it jump over the hole and go over the switch. Now equip the Frost Element and
hit the Cube so it freezes and lands on the switch.
In the next room equip the Dark Element and destroy the Stone Block to get the
Triangle Key. Now go back to the previous room and exit through the western
door. Run past the skeleton and go through the western doorway. Destroy the
Stone Block with the Dark Element and a weapon of your choice then exit. Make
sure you have at least one block of sunlight so the Solar Platform appears,
grab the Meat and Solar Nut from the chests then use the Triangle Key on the
door.
With as little as one block of sunlight all the Boks in this screen will die.
So run past the yellow blob and go through the south-eastern door. Push the
block down like you did before then go back to the previous room and go down
the stairs.
Go through the door here and push the Stone Block into the crevice then go
through the north-eastern door. A room filled with alarms. The best way to get
past these alarms and not to be alerted is to run against the wall so you only
step on the grey part of the alarm. You can get a Speed Nut and a Earthly Nut
from the chests then exit to the north (the room to the east contains some
Meat and a Solar Nut). Another puzzle room.
1. Move the RED Block north once
2. Move the RED Block west four times
3. Move the BLUE Block south once
4. Move the RED Block north once
5. Move the RED Block west once onto the switch.
6. Move the BLUE Block east three times.
7. Move the BLUE Block south once
8. Move the BLUE Block east once onto the switch.
9. Move the GREEN Block south once
10. Move the GREEN Block west three times
11. Move the GREEN Block south once
12. Move the PURPLE Block north once
13. Move the GREEN Block west once onto the switch.
14. Move the PURPLE Block east three times
15. Move the PURPLE Block north once
16. Move the PURPLE Block east once onto the switch.
When that's done go through the door. This room contains three Mummies, just
get their attention and go over the skylights and let the sunlight do its job.
On one of the skylights is a chest containing a piece of Meat, the other chest
contains a Green Nut. One of the Mummies will drop a random weapon, when
you're done go through the door.
The next room contains three Boks and a Clay Golem, tap on the wall next to
you to get the attention of the Boks, they'll all walk into the skylight and
be killed. Now walk down the stairs and run past the Golem into the next room.
You can kill the Boks in this room or just go to the next. Run past the mummy
and go up the stairs. This room has a few chests and Yellow Blobs. If you want
to get everything then follow these instructions:
1. Move the block closest to you three times to the east
2. Move the block north once
3. Move the block west twice
4. Move the block north twice into the crevice
5. Go up the stairs and push the block closest to you west into the hole
6. Now push the final block north twice
7. Push the block south three times
8. Push the block east three times
9. Now Push the block west five times
10. Push the block east once
11. Finally push the block north once to finish the pathway.
Now follow the path and get the Steak from the chest, then get the Lance from
the top of the plateau and get the Triangle Key from the Purple Chest. Now go
back to the previous room and get the attention of the mummy and get it to go
near the stairs. Now equip the Flame Element and hit the mummy so it bursts
into flames - it will run into the candle rack opening the gate.
Push the block into the hole and get the Earthly Nut from the chest. Now exit
east and head north, use the Triangle Key on the Purple Door.
=-------------------------\Mini Boss Battle/-----------------------=
- 7.11 Axe -
=------------------------------------------------------------------=
HP: 480
Attacks: Swing (31), Red Shadow (21), Jump (21), High Swing (31), Shadow Swing
(39), Split (0), Touch (11)
Another simple fight; I suggest you run around with the sword or a similar
weapon and attack it whenever you see the chance. Watch out for the Red Shadow
because it spins fairly quickly and can kill you pretty quickly.
When the Axe splits into two you should use a Speed Nut if you have one handy
to run around faster
=------------------------/End Mini Boss Battle\--------------------=
When you defeat the Axe three chests will materialize. The two Green Chests
will contain a Blue Card and the Sol Enchantment. The Purple Chest contains
a Circle Key. So head out of the door and head south to the big room that you
first entered. In this room, dodge the enemies and head east back to the room
where Sabata was. Now dodge the enemies and head east to the next room and use
the Circle Key on the door.
You'll end up outside in a large desert area. So run down the stairs and
Otenko will say something, as usual, ignore this and press A on the well so a
timer will appear. This timer allows you to walk around the desert without
getting hurt from the heat. Head north to the next screen then head north
again and east once more.
You'll come to a large Oasis with a stone sticking out of the ground and a
well. Check the stone by pressing the A button on it then check the well
again. The objective of this area is to find three Stone Tablets and place
them onto the Stone Pillar. Below is a map and description of how to get each
tablet.
_______ LEGEND
| 1 2 3 | 1-8 = Tablet Location (each in a different screen)
| 4 # 5 | # = Oasis
| 6 7 8 |
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
NOTE: When you walk near a spot with the tablet, you should notice a small
golden glint. The glint only appears when you walk near a tablet.
REMEMBER: There are only three tablets in total you need.
- Screen 1
Description: A room containing two skulls and a Bok.
Tablet: Directly between the two skulls.
Thanks to Lou Cyphere for this tablet location.
- Screen 2
Description: A room containing a Bok and a Clay Golem.
Tablet: Just above the Clay Golem
Thanks to Julia Tam for this tablet location.
- Screen 3
Description: A room containing some Ice Klorofolun and four Cacti
Tablet: In the middle of the four cacti
- Screen 4
Description: A room containing some Ice Klorofolun and five Cacti
Tablet: Underneath the Cactus with the shadow
- Screen 5
Description: A room containing some Ice Klorofolun and two Cacti, one
with bats latched onto the cactus.
Tablet: Near/underneath the cactus with the bats
- Screen 6
Description: A room containing some Bats, a cactus and a crater
Tablet: Inside the crater
- Screen 7
Description: A room containing a Clay Golem and a Mimic Chest
Tablet: Just below the Mimic Chest
- Screen 8
Description: A room containing some Ice Klorofolun and fire balls
Tablet: Near/underneath the lone fire ball.
Once when you find your three tablets (it's random for everyone) head to the
oasis and check the Stone Pillar again, select the left option whenever it
asks to place the tablets on the Pillar. A large building rises up from the
oasis, enter it to continue.
Open the Green Chest for a Map then head east down the stairs to the next
room. Equip the Flame Element and the sword. Now light the lower right
candles, then the higher left candles, lower left candles and finally the
higher right candles. Some stairs will appear so go down them. Tap on one of
the blocks to get the Clay Golem's attention then run down the center path and
go through the door.
This room has four candle racks that are unreachable, you have to finish each
of the rooms that go from the main room to light them so the door opens. First
of all, lets do the north-western room first.
- North-Western Room:
Equip the sword and the Cloud Element (The purple one), so hit the floating
cube once so it goes north-west. Now equip the Flame Element and hit it, equip
the Cloud Element once again as well as the Spear. Go up behind the cube and
hit it so it goes south-east and lights the candles.
- North-Eastern Room
Equip the Cloud Element and Spear. Hit the cube closest to the Otenko Panel so
it goes east over the hole. Now hit the other cube east so it goes onto the
switch. Hit the other cube back over the hole then hit it north and west so it
goes over the switch. Equip the Frost Element and hit both cubes so they
freeze over onto the switches.
- South-Western Room
The objective of this room is to make all the switches red. This is really
simple so I don't think you would need a guide on how to do this. When the
gate opens, hit the switch and go back out.
- South-Eastern Room
A room with mostly wind. Hit the switch next to you then hold down the "Down"
button on the D-Pad then go up when you reach the path to the switch then go
onto the switch and head out of the room.
Go down the stairs through the door. Otenko will say something, when he's done
hit the Green Jewel so Life Flies come out, absorb them then enter through the
door (make sure you have full Sol Energy).
=---------------------------\Boss Battle/--------------------------=
- 7.12 Cloaked Vampire -
=------------------------------------------------------------------=
HP: 640
Attacks: Sword Summon (20), Sol Blast (20), Tri-Sword (20), Swipe (20)
As you enter there will be a short scene between Django, the vampire and
Sabata. When this is over, head straight for the vampire, equip the Sol
Element along with your sword and attack him once or twice.
Watch where the vampire goes and if he goes into a corner, choose the
Explosives Element and place it in the corner nearest to him. When he
goes over it, it should explode dealing a lot of damage and getting rid
of a few swords. - Thanks to Lou Cyphere for that tip.
After doing that stand back on one of the sides, do NOT go near Sabata
and change your weapon to your fists then keep tapping the B Button -
doing this will block all of the incoming swords so you don’t lose
any health.
The vampire will then go near Sabata and summon several swords, to counter
this attack you should equip the sword yourself and hit each of the swords as
they appear so they won’t even have a chance to hit Sabata.
In a matter of time, Sabata’s Gun De Hel would have generated a large dark
ball and the Vampire will eventually freeze when it grows to a certain size.
When he freezes hit him a few times with your sword then equip the Sol Element
and the sword and slice at him about 5 times while he’s in the dark ball.
He also will at times do his swipe attack, you’ll know because he retracts and
then attacks by surprise, just run around not too close to him and you should
be fine.
Repeat this strategy until he is defeated.
=--------------------------/End Boss Battle\-----------------------=
After the battle the vampire will bite Django and run off. Django has been
badly injured and the bite has just made him worse, so Sabata must now take
care of Django and return him to San Miguel. In other words, you now play as
Sabata!
NOTE: If you have the sensor in the sunlight I suggest you hide it from the
light, otherwise Sabata will be taking 1 damage every step.
Now you should notice that there is a LIFE bar at the top right hand corner,
that is how much health Django has remaining, so don’t waste it! There’s
nothing of importance to Sabata in the room to the north, so take the coffin
and head back out the way you came; south.
Drag the coffin all the way up the stairs and continue walking. You should see
a skylight, Sabata is the dark child so he doesn’t like the light very much -
so if you do see the skylight, hide your sensor from the sunlight and continue
on through to the next room.
In the next room, take either the left or right path to dodge the Clay Golem
and go up the stairs. Continue through this room to the above floor. You can’t
use the warp portal here so we’ll have to trek across the desert with the
coffin.
When you get back to the desert, let go of the coffin for a moment and take a
drink from the well so you won’t be hurt by the deserts heat, with that done,
you should take the coffin and go left from the entrance then south and follow
the edge of the desert back to the desert ruins, this way you don’t get
attacked by enemies.
Once inside the ruins, go through to the next door, run past the enemies with
the coffin and you’ll end up back into the main foyer of the ruins. This room
contains several Clay Golems so to avoid them, from the door, head south past
the Golem walking next you then head west and exit via the main entrance.
Back outside, do your best to avoid the Bats out here and go down the stairs
then west to exit the dungeon. Head up the stairs and exit through the western
door so you are back into town.
====================================================================
- 5.10 San Miguel -
====================================================================
As you enter another scene will occur. At the end you’ll be at the town Pile
Driver. Talk to Lita twice and she will give you the Sunscreen.
Using your Gun De Hel, hit each of the Solar Sensors then go into your items
menu and use the Sunscreen - this will protect you from the sunlight. Speaking
of which, if you still have your Sensor hidden from the sunlight, it’s time to
take in the light.
[ PURIFICATION ] ---------------------------------------------------
Django will turn into a purple puff of smoke, his main abilities are to turn
off the sensors and existing. When Django is latched onto one of the sensors,
go up to it and blast it a few times so he will let go. If the sensor is shut
off, just hit it a couple of times until it turns back on.
If the Purification lasts longer than the Sunscreen, I suggest you try again -
it’s not worth losing your health for.
--------------------------------------------------- [ PURIFICATION ]
After the battle another scene will be displayed. Sabata has fallen ill and is
now in bed, Django is now Black Django and his new abilities. So you can head
up the stairs and see Sabata, or not. Either way, lets explore Black Django.
Apart from the obvious look, Black Django has several new techniques;
unfortunately you can’t use Django’s old techniques.
- Black Django can go inside a custom coffin and rest there, this
allows you to recover your energy.
- He can also turn into a Bat, this allows him to fly around places
Django usually wouldn’t be able to go.
- Django can transform into a mouse, this allows him to go into
small niches and such.
- Lastly, Django transform into a wolf-man. Alone, Django howls, but with a
enemy near Django, Django will transform and attack the enemy. Thanks to
Lou Cyphere for telling me what it did.
Since Django was bitten by a vampire, running around in the sunlight will also
hurt him. So you can stock up on Sunscreen if you like. So that should cover
all of the basics.
Now head out of the Inn if you haven’t done so already and head east one
screen to the area with the entrance to the Desert Ruins. Here head north
towards the crate then switch your weapon to the Hammer and destroy it. Now
change your element to the Dark element and permanently kill the Vine and head
north to the next screen.
Go around on the right, kill any Yellow Blobs if you need to and head through
to the next Immortal Dungeon.

As Django enters he will notice Kuro, the Black Cat. So follow Kuro to the
next room. Open the chest for a bottle of Sunscreen and go through the next
door. Ignore the Hound here and go through the north-western exit.
Go around the edge of the room by following the left wall, quickly run past
the Hive or else you’ll have to deal with several bees. When you come to a
dead end, press up against the wall and go past the rocks. Head through the
next room ignoring the Bok’s along the way.
Ignore the two doors here as they don’t take you anywhere or anything right
now, so go down to the next screen. Make your way through this room dodging
the Hound and the Hive. Run past the Hive here and go through the door in the
corner, get the Antidote from the chest and push the Stone Block into the hole
and leave the room the way you come through then head up the stairs and leave.
Get past the Bok’s and Bats here then in the next room, take the left path at
the fork and you’ll see Kuro again. Follow it to the next room. Go through the
second door and transform into the mouse and go through the hole. The
following area is going to heavily rely on these animal transformations.
In the next room, hit the switch so the gate opens then head up the stairs.
Kill the Yellow Blob in your way then go through the southern door. Go through
the door below you and get another Antidote then go back and go up the stairs.
Transform into the Bat and go through the open window, head up through the
next door, dodge the mummies to get to the next door. The elevator has a
animal puzzle on it, if you are Django it will go all the way down, if you’re
a bat, it won’t let you on, but if you’re the mouse, you’ll be taken to the
middle floor - if you do go all the way down, turn into the Bat and go into
the platform, you’ll be taken back up. While on the middle platform, open the
chest to get a Map and then back into the mouse and go through the hole.
Dodge the Bok’s in here and get the Red Bottle from the chest and leave the
room. You’ll end up back outside, so push the crate into the hole and go back
inside. Go through the next room and then go down the elevator, head outside.
Now that the hole has been filled, you can cross the gap. Enter the first door
you see for a nice puzzle for some armor.
01. Move the GREEN block west twice onto the Green tile.
02. Move the BLUE block east twice onto the Blue tile.
03. Move the RED block west once
03. Move the RED block north once
04. Move the PURPLE block east once
05. Move the PURPLE block south once
06. Move the PURPLE block east twice
07. Move the PURPLE block west once
08. Move the RED block west twice
09. Move the RED block north once onto the Red tile.
10. Move the PURPLE block east once
11. Move the PURPLE block south once onto the Purple tile.
Get the Weapon Guard that appears and leave the room.
Transform into the Bat then fly over the puddle of water and go into the next
room. Open the Purple Chest for an O-Key and leave the room. Fly over the
puddle then go south and leave this alley by going to the west.
Back at the alley with the two doors, go through the one you went through
before and go through the next door then go up the stairs. Kill the Blob in
your way and open the Purple Door.
Head through the eastern door and push the crate into the gap, go back and you
can go up the stairs for a piece of meat or go straight down the stairs. If
you’re not the Bat, I recommend you turn into the Bat right now, this makes it
much easier for you to dodge all of the Bok’s, when you’re done go through the
door.
Back outside head north through the next alley and enter the second door.
Transform into the mouse and go up the elevator. Move the block closest to the
elevator east twice, now move the remaining block, south once and east twice,
now go down the elevator and push the block into the gap. Transform into the
Bat and go up the elevator, get the Red Bottle from the chest and push the
block south twice, now turn into the mouse again and push the block east three
times. Go back down to the ground floor and push the block into the gap, go
through the door.
=-------------------------\Mini Boss Battle/-----------------------=
- 7.13 Four Mummies -
=------------------------------------------------------------------=
HP: 60 (each)
Attacks: Jump (45), Bombs Spit (80), Touch (15)
As you enter, transform into the mouse and start running around, get the
mummies’ attentions so they will spit out bombs, lure them so they get blasted
by it. Let them run around on fire, all you have to do now is dodge them.
=------------------------/End Mini Boss Battle\--------------------=
After the battle, open the Green Chest for a Flail. Now leave the room.
Turn into the Bat and go up the elevator and through the open window. Now take
the middle window. Fly over the steel grating and dodge the Bok’s then head
down the stairs. Go through the door and push the crate into the hole. Go back
in and up the stairs then go through the open window and enter the remaining
window.
Dodge the Blobs and the Bok then hit the switch, the door will open, so go
through it. Go into the room south to you, get some sunlight and get the
tonniaR mR. from the chest then go back one room and head down the stairs.
Take the east exit and go down the stairs in the next room. Exit through the
door then exit the building.
Back outside in the alley, go east then fly over the puddle and the switch. If
you step on the switch, fire will appear and you won’t be able to get the O-
Key from the chest. Now head through the door next to the switch.
Push the crate into the hole then fly over the puddle and go through the door.
Use the key on the Purple Door. Head up the stairs here then press up against
the walls and go across the gaps. These upper floors have a lot of Ghosts on
them, they’re hurt when they come in to contact with sunlight, but they’re
fairly easy to dodge, so they shouldn’t really by a problem.
Anyway, there’s a Red Potion in the corner of the room otherwise turn into the
Bat and go out the window. Head all the way south and go through the southern
most window.
Make your way through the room to the southern end where there is a Red Bottle
and an O-Key. Now fly back out and fly into the window on the opposite side,
quickly head down the stairs and go through the door down here. Push the crate
down into the hole then go back inside and take the elevator down then exit
through the southern door.
You’ll end up back outside once again, so now that the gap has been filled, go
across it and fly over the switch and puddle. Use the key on the door. Heal up
and replenish your energy then go onto the elevator...
=-------------------------\Mini Boss Battle/-----------------------=
- 7.14 Cheyenne the Wind Warrior -
=------------------------------------------------------------------=
HP: 1600
Attacks: Slam (45), Spin (25), Throw (45), Touch(15)
As soon as the battle begins start slashing with your sword so you block the
incoming axes that the Chief throws at you. He’ll then run away and get some
new Axes, this is your chance to prepare for the battle. First of all, equip
the Lance, the lance is the only weapon capable of dealing out more than 1 or
2 points of damage. I also suggest you use your Dark Element to do slightly
more damage. By the time your energy has diminished to nothing, you should use
some Sunscreen and get some sunlight to recharge.
Anyway, onto the strategy. You should stay on one of the four blocks in the
corner and run around, hitting him with your lance from behind the corners.
When he throws his axes, get close as he can’t attack unless he has his axes.
But when he does have axes, don’t get too close, otherwise he will spin around
with his axes at hand and if you get close, will deal out a lot of damage. But
if keep him spinning he will get dizzy and you will have a lot of time to
damage him. Again, if you get too close he will also slam his axes in front of
him. It’s just best to avoid getting too close to him.
Sometimes through out the battle he will drop a couple of items, you can take
them if you like, but be careful, some of the items will make the screen
blurry when you walk around.
With all that in mind, be watchful of his pattern and you should be able to
beat him in no time.
=------------------------/End Mini Boss Battle\--------------------=
After the battle there will be a conversation between Django and the Chief,
he’ll show you a way across the roofs of the buildings as well as give you an
O-Key. Now go down the elevator and use the key on the Purple Door.
Go up the stairs and open the Green Chest up here for the Dungeon’s Map B then
head up the stairs dodging the Ghosts and Mummies. Kill the Blob in the way
and get the Red Bottle from the Chest (the other one is a Mimic) then go
through the door. Grab the Sunscreen from the chest and go up to the roof.
Turn into the Bat and fly through the window then turn into the mouse and go
through the hole then run around and go through the hole in the wall. Cross
the plank of wood and go through the hole. Turn into the Bat then go through
the window, turn back into Django and push the box into the hole then go
through the door.
Dodge the Bok’s and get the Red Bottle from the chest then head down the
stairs. Get the Red Potion from the chest while dodging the Mummies then exit
through the door. Heal up and restore any lost energy then head down the
elevator.
Walk around to the entrance to the Immortal, but before you can reach the
door, someone will appear and you two will have a conversation - until she
gets attacked by a group of bats, in which Django automatically leaves to the
next room.
NOTE: If you haven’t already upgraded your stats, I suggest you do so now,
especially your "STRG" points, otherwise you will only be able to deal 1 point
of damage to Durathror. To be able to do so, you’ll need to raise your Attack
to above 35, 40 is preferred though. If you don’t have enough points, go back
through the dungeons and defeat a lot of enemies.
=---------------------------\Boss Battle/--------------------------=
- 7.15 Red Durathror the Earth-ruling Immortal -
=------------------------------------------------------------------=
HP: 1,200
Attacks: Ball (33), Leaf (15), Touch (15), Vine Summon (48)
Durathror only really has one attack and that’s spinning around unleashing
dozens of small sharp leaves into the air. But she also summons four vines so
they try to stop you from attacking her.
The best weapon to use is the Lance and the Dark Element. This way you can
eradicate those annoying vines from a safe distance as well as Durathror.
If there’s no vines around her, or if there is, kill it, watch the leaves and
try to dodge them all. It may take some practice but it’s worth while as you
get to her much quicker.
That’s all she’ll do for the first half of the battle, the next half consist
of her and several other copies of herself rising from the ground. The
strategy here is to wait until they bloom, you should the notice that one of
the bloomed flowers should have her head on it. That’s the one to attack. One
more thing, you’ll notice the one she is in will shake a few times (well for
me it did anyway). The other, and more commonly you can transform into the
Bat to see exactly which flower she's in (Thanks to Nosgoroth for that tip).
After that stage she will then break free from her flower-like form and become
a hideous vine creature. In this form she’ll summon a lot of really big vines
as well as make several balls fall from the ceiling. These are relatively easy
to dodge, just make sure you attack her before and after her attack.
Repeat this process until she’s gone.
=--------------------------/End Boss Battle\-----------------------=
After the battle proceed into the next room to obtain a Red Card. Now go back
and draw the coffin into the previous room, you’ll notice that it’s now been
destroyed, so head through the new door.
Place the coffin on the switch then cross the now covered gap and push the
stone block north, move the coffin if you have to then go through to the next
room.
In this room you have to place the coffin on the switch so the platform make a
full path. After that go around to the other side of the room and push the
block into the hole, now take the coffin and head through the door.
This next room has more block puzzles. So press up against the wall and cross
the gap, now push the block into the gap and drag the coffin onto the switch.
Cross the platforms and push the crate into the hole, now run around to the
north-eastern side of the other crate and push it south once, now push it into
the hole so it completes the path to the stairs. Take the coffin and go up.
Now exit through the door here.
You’ll be back outside now, so kill the two hounds here if you want, but get
the hidden Sunscreen from the southern corner and the Red Bottle from the
visible chest. I recommend you stay here and replenish your energy as you’re
going to need it in the coming rooms.
Once when you’ve replenished your energy head through the western-most door.
Place your coffin on the Solar Symbol - this will hold your coffin so you can
do all of the puzzles, and head through the door. Kill the Blobs and the Bok’s
and head through the southern door to get a piece of Meat then go back in, now
go back and get the coffin and go back into the room where you just killed the
Bok’s and go down the stairs with coffin at hand.
Kill the Bok in front of you then kill the other two and head through the
door. Press up against the wall and go over the grating and kill the Bok, go
around and kill the next Bok. Now go through the door. Hit the switch once
when both you and the coffin are on the platform, you’ll be across the gap, so
take the coffin and head through the door.
Go south and destroy the crate then push the block into the hole. Now take the
coffin and go south, down the stairs and through the door. Dodge/kill the
hounds here and go through the south-eastern door. Nothing in the next room so
head through the door there. Now leave the Immortal dungeon.

- 5.12 San Miguel -
====================================================================
From the entrance to the third Immortal, head south and kill the Yellow Blob
blocking the way, head west past the Vine and destroy the blocks if you
haven’t already done so and kill the Vine then go through to the next room.
As you enter the Pile Driver screen, Zaji will appear and start a conversation
with you, you can skip the details and go straight into the Purification
Battle.
NOTE: Do not use/buy Sunscreen, you won’t need it...
[ PURIFICATION ] ---------------------------------------------------
As you enter the purification, Django will fall due to the sunlight. After a
cut scene with several San Miguel residence, Django will be in a black
background, you have to hold the A Button to absorb the sunlight, after that,
Django will be back to his former self and back in the Pile Driver.
As you begin the actual Purification, you should replace your Elements so you
can use them. You’ll also notice you have two new ones, they’ll be explained
later on.
Anyway, this is pretty much the same as any other purification, you only have
to watch out for her leaf attack once again. Otherwise it’s quite easy.
--------------------------------------------------- [ PURIFICATION ]
After the Purification, they’ll be another cut scene with the residence.
They’ll talk, and then Lita will show you how the Solar Tree is
regrowing, she’ll also give you the Earth Sol Element.
When you're done playing with your new magic or exploring, head to the Chief
in the southern part of town and talk to him, follow him into his store and he
will give you the Dash Technique. Now head to Sumire's room and talk to her.
Kuro will then head out the door, so follow him out the door. Outside you’ll
see Kuro walking away so continue following him, you’ll eventually reach the
fourth Immortal’s entrance - so if you feel as if you’re ready, go on in.

====================================================================
Head outside Immortal 4 and go towards Immortal 1.
Once inside the first Immortal’s dungeon, take a moment to remember...
remember how much you kicked undead a**. Now head north to the next screen and
follow the main pathway to the next screen, you’ll come to the entrance to the
Cathedral. But instead of going inside, go to the western side of the screen
and select the Earth Sol Element then hit the L Button while facing the Lilly
pad, this will make it grow allowing you to cross it.
Repeat that process on the Lilly Pad in the southern part of the screen then
do it again on the other Lilly Pad and head up the stairs and collect your
first Black Card. Now exit.
NOTE: You can do this to all the other Lilly Pads in the dungeon to collect
several other items.
====================================================================
- 5.15 Tarot Card 2 -
====================================================================
Go forward, to the second Immortal Dungeon; The Desert Ruins.
Head up the steps and enter the ruins and go through the northern door. Take
the second left passage and go through the door. Dodge the mummy in this room
and take the door exit (not the stairs). You’ll enter a room with glass and
light on the floor, first of all, kill all of the Bok’s.
Now go to the very northern tip of the room and press up against the wall, now
hold left and keep tapping on the wall, you’ll notice one of the taps was red
and made a different sound. So equip your Dynamite Sol Technique and place
your dynamite against the wall, hide until it explodes then enter the new room.
Kill the Vine then head up the stairs and collect your second Black Card.
NOTE: You’ll have to kill some Purple Blobs in order to leave the room.
====================================================================
- 5.16 Tarot Card 3 -
====================================================================
Head north young Solar Boy (to the third Immortal Dungeon).
Go through the door at the entrance then exit through the next door. Go
through the northern exit and cross the now covered gap, flatten up against
the wall and go past the northern block. Now go through the door closest to
the chest (in the closed up area).
Change into Black Django and transform into the Bat so you can cross the
switch, now change back and head through the purple door. Go through the next
door in here and head up the stairs. You’ll notice that there are more vines
here now, anyway, watch out for the Ghosts and Mummies and go up the stairs in
this room. Go past the Bok’s and Green Blob then exit through the door.
Head up the stairs and you’ll end up outside. Just keep going through to the
next door, go down the stairs here and head through the door in the next room.
You should recognise this pathway as it was the room just before the Immortal
Battle, so heal if needed and go down the elevator.
Head down the steps and drop down the gap, exit through the southern door and
make your way through the next four rooms to end up outside (all the puzzles
are completed so all you have to do is run along the path). Once outside, go
through the door closest to you.
01. Push the Block North once.
02. Equip the EARTH Luna Element and hit the cube next to the block.
03. Push the Block into the gap.
04. Equip the FLAME Enchantment and hit the blue cube.
05. Equip the CLOUD Enchantment and hit the northern cube so it goes east.
06. Hit the southern cube from the eastern side.
07. Hit the southern cube from the southern side (preferably with Spear).
08. Hit the eastern cube from the eastern side (preferably with Spear).
09. Hit the cube you just hit so it goes up onto the wall.
10. Hit the remaining cube so it goes east once.
11. Now hit it so it goes north once.
12. Hit it so it goes west next to the other cube.
13. Equip the Spear and hit both cubes so they fly over to the switches.
14. Equip the FROST Enchantment and hit both cubes so they freeze on
the switches. This will open the gate, so go up.
Make your way past the mummies then exit via the southern door. Here you’ll
see your target, but for now go through to the next door. Quickly run past the
Hive and press up against the wall so you can cross the gap then go through
the door.
Run past the mummies and turn into Black Django then transform into the mouse
so you can go through the hole in the wall, here open the Green Chest for your
final Black Card, a short cut scene between Django and an unknown lady will
occur.
To exit, you must push the block into the gap and go back the way you entered
and exit back outside. Now take the south-western-most door. Go past the
barrier and into the next room, run past the Boks and the Blobs and head down
the stairs.
Kill the first Bok you see, this will attract the attention of the other two
Boks so take the other path and go into the next room. Quickly run through
this room and exit via the western door. Go onto the platform and you’ll be
taken across to the other side, so exit the room and you’ll be back outside
near the entrance to the dungeon, go south through the next room and keep
going south until you’re out of the place.

next room.
=-------------------------\Mini Boss Battle/-----------------------=
- 7.16 Three Purple Slimes -
=------------------------------------------------------------------=
HP: 130 (each)
Attacks: Touch (5)
This may seem like an easy battle, and it is. It’s just like any other slime
you have fought, except just don’t get too close or they will turn you into
stone momentarily.
=------------------------/End Mini Boss Battle\--------------------=
After that, go into the next room and climb the stairs then retrieve the map
from the Green Chest and head through the door.
=-------------------------\Mini Boss Battle/-----------------------=
- 7.17 Kraken -
=------------------------------------------------------------------=
HP: 170 (each)
Attacks: Grab (1+), Rock (39)
Another easy one. Just eliminate them one by one using the sword or another
quick weapon so you can escape the incoming rocks and deal some damage. Not
much else really.
=------------------------/End Mini Boss Battle\--------------------=
After that battle the next screen will have a short cut scene, follow Sabata
into the next room.
=-------------------------\Mini Boss Battle/-----------------------=
- 7.18 Three Fencers -
=------------------------------------------------------------------=
HP: 260 (each)
Attacks: Power Stab (59), Slice (54), Touch (39)
This battle can take a while so make sure you’re prepared.
I suggest you walk around and get the attention of all three Skeletons. This
way you can hit them all at once and maintain the battle with ease at a much
faster rate. I recommend you use either the Spear or Hammer for the battle as
they will do the most damage.
If you’re finding it too slow, try placing some dynamite in strategic
locations in order to deal more damage.
=------------------------/End Mini Boss Battle\--------------------=
After that go into the next room and heal up. It’s time to Bust some
Immortal a** again.
=---------------------------\Boss Battle/--------------------------=
- 7.19 Blue Dvalinn the Sea-ruling Immortal -
=------------------------------------------------------------------=
HP: 1600
Attacks: Bubble Breath (2), Dark Breath (1+), Ink Balls (4), Rock (21), Slam
(51) Tentacle Slap (41)
When you begin I recommend you quickly change your Magic Selection so you
include the Switch Magic and the Bat Transformation. Also equip the Hammer and
Spear or any other really strong weapon. You will also need at least 60 points
of Strength (STRG), but it would be better to have 65+ of points so you deal
out more damage.
Anyway, stay in the Black Django form and watch where the tentacles appear,
you watch where they are so you can figure out the opposite side of them. If
there is none you should run up and down quickly so you will be just missed by
the tentacles.
As always run around the platform to dodge the rocks. Then when Dvalinn comes
out of the water, watch if it goes back a little, if that does happen
transform into the Bat so you are unaffected by the shock of the slam. If it
only begins to spit Ink at you, simply run around to dodge them. Either way,
it’s just easier to transform into the Bat so you’ll be prepared for the
inevitable.
Dvalinn will also appear very close to the platform, in this case she will
make dozens of bubbles, these barely do any damage so you should stay close so
you can attack Dvalinn much quicker. You can also use your sword or fists to
burst a lot of the bubbles.
Another technique when close is the Poison attack, she will turn Red and make
a stream of poison across the platform. It doesn’t do much damage so you can
deal out a lot of damage to Dvalinn while in this attack form.
I found that when versing Blue Dvallin, The Sea Ruling Immortal that
when she backs away about to slam the platform, if you equip the
flame enchantment and spear and hit her, she stops attacking. It
saved me a lot of life and I didnt have to change into Black Django.

After the battle drag the coffin out across the newly formed platforms then
open the chests for a Tasty Meat and Map B then head through the door. Follow
the pathway until you reach a room with Purple Slimes and a Centipede, kill
these then go through the door and keep following the path to a room with
Archers. You can’t permanently kill them so go straight through the room.
You’ll end up back at the room with the Immortal Battle, so go on the platform
next to you and it will take you across the water. Go into the cave room you
see to get a Star Piece and a Strength Card. Now go back and take the coffin
through the remaining door. Heal up then go through the door and make your way
back to the dungeon entrance.

This purification is pretty much the same as the others. Immortal attempts to

simple Bubble attack, I suggest you just dodge them as if you try to attack
them, they will slow down and just get in the way.

After the purification Zazie will talk to you, after that you can explore the

In case you don't know, this is the dungeon next to the first Immortal
Dungeon. It is blocked off by a crate, which you can smash with the Hammer,
which can get obtain from the Immortal Dungeon.
As you enter head east to the next screen and follow the path killing the
spiders (the Hammer is the best to squash these arachnids). Open the Green
Chest for a Map and then open the other chest on the far right to get an
Antidote. Now head back to the room you entered in and take the northern door.
Head east to the next screen, kill the skeletons and go through the eastern
door. Head north to the next screen and you'll see an Otenko Panel and a
floating panel over a gap. If the panel is on the opposite ledge, cover your
Solar Sensor so no blocks of sunlight appear, this will make the platform come
to you, get on it then get some blocks of sunlight to make it take you to the
other side then go through the door.
DO NOT go onto the platform in this room, if you do you'll have to go back
around. Ignore the Purple Door and head north to the next screen. Kill the
Bats and open the chests for two Speed Nuts then go down the stairs in the
northwestern corner.
Go south to the next room, in here you can kill the enemies or you can go
straight to the next room. In this room, make sure you have at least one block
of sunlight so a Solar Platform can appear. Go over the platform and kill the
three Spiders to open the gate.
In the next couple of rooms are a different amount Klorofolun, count them and
go in the direction of the clock. Eg, If there are 3 Klorofolun go east. Or
better yet use the below map for easier reference.
/\ LEGEND
/ \ E = Entrance/Exit (You can restart at anytime)
/ \ 3 = If there are 3 Klorofolun go this way

/ \ 9 = If there are 9 Klorofolun go this way
\ /
\ 6 3 /
\ /
\ /
\/
When you get out of that puzzle you'll come to a large room with a Bok, make
sure you have at least one block of sunlight to accomplish this puzzle. With
sunlight several Solar Platforms will appear allowing you to get across the
room.
So run past the Bok and tap on the southern part of the block in the center of
the room to get its attention, then run over onto the switch and tap on the
wall next to the switch to get the Bok's attention once again, now hide next
to the door and wait for the Bok to walk past the Solar Platform then hide the
Solar Sensor from sunlight so it doesn't die from the skylight and wait for it
to go onto the switch to raise the gate.
In the next room, get the Square Key from the Purple Chest and go up the
stairs. Go south to the next screen and push the block into the hole then go
left and open the Purple Door with the Square Key.
Look on the ground and you'll see some skylights, follow the skylights to the
room it points to Eg. If the skylights head north go through the northern
door, if they point to the middle go through the middle door, etc.
Run past the Boks and go into the next room. Equip the Spear or Hammer and tap
on the southern wall to get the two Boks attention then kill them both so the
gate opens. Dodge the three skeletons that appear and go into the next room.
This rooms puzzle can change a lot if you don't pay attention. Each switch
represents a Bok on the other side of the room and each switch represents a
skylight. Wait until the Bok near you goes on a switch then you need to go
onto another switch so a skylight appears, watch carefully and you'll notice a
Bok will also start trembling, so hit the switch that is parallel with the Bok
and the gate will be raised (I hope that paragraph made sense, if not I could
probably make a map).
This room requires you to defeat each enemy, I suggest you kill the Klorofolun
first then the Skeleton and use the skylights to kill the two Boks. Go through
the door then go up the stairs. Once again go through the only door. This room
contains a simple puzzle. If you notice the skylights they make out to be a
large number. Kill a spider until the number is a big 0 then hit the switch
and go through the door.
Make sure you have at least one block of sunlight here so the Solar Platforms
appear, get the attention of the two skeletons and get them to step onto a
Solar Platform then hide the Solar Sensor from sunlight so they fall, then get
the Earthly Nut from the chest and go through the door.
In this room hide the Solar Sensor from sunlight so the platform comes to you,
then get on the platform and hit the two switches (the two rooms here contain
a piece of Meat and a Solar Nut). This may take a few tries to hit both
switches, so try and try again until you get it right.
The chest that is guarded by two skeletons contains a Solar Leaf, you don't
really need it though so you can go through the door to fight the boss.

A fairly simple battle if you have good evasive skills, otherwise a bit

them crash into each other, do this about 5 or 6 times and they'll die. The
Hammer does the most damage so keep that it hand and use it against them when
they are dazed.

after the cut scene open the chest for a Key then teleport out of the dungeon.

As you enter you will see a Hint Panel on the wall, you need to check
that and decide which enemy you want to battle throughout the dungeon.
It doesn’t matter what choice you make as the dungeon will be the same
the whole time.
After choosing which enemy you would like to face off against, head
through to the next room. In the next room you will see two of your
selected enemies, from now on, I will call your enemy X, so in this room
there would be two enemy X's lurking around the blocks, so kill them
and head through to the next door.
Again there will be two enemy X's patrolling this room, kill or be
killed then head through to the next room. Nothing much to do in this
room except to kill the enemies, there are two exits, but both lead to
the same area.
In the next room, kill all of the enemies then either leave via the
north door or go through the eastern doorway to replenish your
Energy, which isn't really necessary, as you will be given the chance
to go outside within the dungeon, so head north.
In this room, you'll be given the chance to go east again, in doing so
will allow you to obtain the Dungeon's Map from the Green Chest, after
you're done with everything in these two rooms, continue north.
There will be three enemy X's in this room, kill them swiftly and go
through the door to the next room. To the right of this room is a
small room where you can recharge your Energy, kill the enemy X's in
this room the go through to the next room, kill or head through the
northern doorway to continue.
Kill the enemies in here and go through the door to the north. You'll
come outside, where you should recharge your Energy. Kill any enemy you
may see then go north. Ignore the Solar Station and head through the
entrance to the building to fight the boss.

Whatever enemy you chose at the beginning of the dungeon, you will
have to face off against now. During the battle, there will be
several enemy X to fight against. These enemies are just the same as
any other you may encounter.
Simply pick a weapon and an appropriate Magic element then just
hack away at the enemies until all are defeated, but be careful not
to be seen or else you'll have to start again.
=--------------------------/End Boss Battle\-----------------------=
At the end you will receive a Photo of Ringo. After that, just leave.

+ Boss: Two Skeleton Archers & a Skeleton Fencer
Upon entering the House of Time, you would have noticed the dead
flora abiding the area. Obviously, you need the Sol Enchantment:
Healing. So equip Healing and heal those plants and then enter the
building to the north.
As you enter the building a strange voice will warn you of the curse
of the House of Time, after the message head north, killing the
enemies in your way and go through the door.
In the next room you will notice that the doorway is blocked off,
but alas, there is another way. Transform into Black Django and then
change into the mouse and go through the hole in the wall.
In the next room, change back and place some Dynamite against the
cracked wall, once when the passage has been opened, ignore the chest
for it is a Mimic.
The next room consists of a Candle Rack, two mummies and a dead
Skeleton. Kill the mummies and light the candles with your Flame
Enchantment then proceed through the newly opened door.
There isn't much you can do in this room apart from recharging your
energy, so go through the only open door. Kill the two mummies in
here and hit the switch to open one of the steel gates, so go back
a room and then go through the newly opened door.
Kill the two mummies then head through the door. In here you'll see
a large circular thing on the floor, read the Hint Panel to find out
that it allows you to transcend time. So go on it and hit the A
button to transcend time.
After going through time, you'll see that everything looks different.
Go through the door and defeat the slimes then go through the other
door. You should now notice that all of the previously (or should I
say future?) blocked doorways are now accessible, so go south one
more room and then go west and obtain the Map and a Tomato Juice, now
go back and go through the eastern door to obtain a Redshroom. Go back
to the room with the two steel gates and take the western path.
Kill the two Golems with your hammer and then hit the switch to
raise the other gate, go back a room and then go through the eastern
steel gate and go Back to the Future, again. Now go to the newly
opened steel gate and you'll notice a person trapped in between some
walls, use some Dynamite on the cracked wall and then walk up to him.
After the conversation, transform into Black Django then change into
the mouse and go through the hole. Now go up the stairs in the new
room. It's best to have sunlight now as the ghosts can get quite
annoying and having sunlight will make the light shone through,
killing those pesky ghosts. Onward to the next room.
Kill the mummies here using the skylight then go east to the next
room, kill the Klorofolun and head south. Kill the Bandit's here
to open the door then collect the Square Key from the Purple Chest.
Now go back to where you fought the mummies and head south. Defeat
the Bats then use the Square Key on the Purple Door. Kill the
enemies here then go through the southern door and as always, kill
the enemies in here and go through to the next room.
Transform into Black Django and then change into the mouse then go
through the hole. Ignore the planks of wood on the floor and go
through the door. Open the chest here for a Warp Leaf then go onto
the Time Portal and through the door.
As soon as you'll enter, Django will notice the planks of wood, go
over to them and press the A button. Django will automatically
rearrange them to form a path, so change back into Django's mouse
form and then change back to normal.
After changing back to Django, you can now access the House of Time
Number Registry, this allows you to access those door that are locked
by a numerical code. I suggest you use a simple code like "0 0 0 0"
or "1 3 3 7" but the first one would be much easier.
After inputting a code, change back into the mouse and cross the
wooden planks then go forward into time. Head north and over the
planks again then through the door. You can transform back to
Django if you haven't already, anyway, kill the bats then go to the
next room.
Dodge the mummies and head east. Kill the Klorofolun in this room
then go up to the panel and input your code, the door will unlock,
so go through it. You'll come outside, so grab the Tasty Meat from
the chest then go down on the elevator. As soon as you land, leave
this screen to the next, kill the Bandits and go through to the next
room and go through the Time Portal.
Go west then kill the Bee's, now use your Sol Healing Magic on the
dead plant. There's nothing in the room to the north, so head west
and collect the Speed Nut and Tasty Meat from the chests, now go
back to the Time Portal and transcend time.
Head west and heal the new dead plant to gain access to the elevated
platforms, head west again, but this time only open the chest furthest
from the stairs to get a Tomato Juice, now go back a screen and this
time head north.
Kill the two Bandits for some extra experience and then push any of
the Headstones back, you'll fall through a hole where you will meet
Ghost Boy, he will tell you his life story (boring) and then give
you his Square Key. Go through the door behind him and head up the
stairs, drop down and go back to the elevator.
Transform into Black Django then change into the Bat, then go on the
elevator, this will take you to the top floor. Go through the open
window and then transform back into Django then use the Square Key
on the Purple Door here.
Kill the two Ghosts to open a door, go to the next room, these next
couple of rooms will have you killing a couple of Ghosts, when you
get to the end, just stand in the sunlight and they'll all die, this
will cause another gate to open, so get over there.
A simple puzzle, there is a invisible Ghost on the platform with the
skylight, you must use the switches to move the skylight, I recommend
you just keep it in the middle as the Ghost tends to move around the
middle the most. If you are still having trouble, use a See-All Nut
and aim carefully. After completing this, the final gate will open.
Time is of the essence in this room. Get on the platform then cover
your Solar Sensor so no sunlight hits it, this will make the platform
move to the other side, but it won't go the whole way, so get ready
to move then allow sunlight on the Solar Sensor, if you're timing is
right you should move onto the new Solar Platform that appears.
In the next room, kill the Bats and get the Warp Leaf from the chest,
now Save and go into the next room to enter a boss battle.

As you enter, equip a weapon and the Earth Enchantment then hit the cube in
your way. You’ll notice four Panels on the walls, you can read them or not,
but go into the Panel Room.
/ / /’ PANEL ROOM
Step into the center of the switches then press the A Button, then press A on
the corner on the Blue square, this will make the door open so you can
progress. In the next room there is another puzzle, step on one of the corners
and press A, then step onto another corner and keep repeating it until all
corners are done, then step in the center and press the A button to open the
door.
The third panel room consists of you only having 4 tries to make all of the
panels read. In order to do this, we must first of all, remember where the
blue panels are then, when you’re ready, step on one of the blue panels and
press the A Button, now step on the other blue panel and keep repeating this
until all four original blue panels have been stepped on and pressed A over.
The fourth room will have you doing the same thing as the third room, expect
the first step is to press the A Button on the only blue panel. The fifth room
isn’t too different either, first of all, step on one of the corners and press
A, then go onto another corner and just repeat going onto the corners and
pressing A onto them, this will make the puzzle look exactly like the third
puzzle, of which you should know what to do.
In the next room there will be two Green Chests, open these for a Zweihander
and a photo of Red Django. Now go all the way back and choose the Emblem Room.

Now as I said, I will take my time with this guide, I am going to be doing all
of the Undead Dungeons and everything so please be patient. If I am missing
something or you have better strategies or whatever, e-mail me at
[email protected].
Okay, so I'm back. Thanks to everyone sending me e-mails, posting, private
messaging, etc. Unforetunatly, I kind of forgot everything people submitted
to me. I have most of it on my e-mail, which will hopefully be added to the
next update, if it's not there, could you please send it to me again, thanks.
I will also translate all of the important stuff later on, so you'll have to
deal with my cheesy titles for now.

---------------------------9. FAQ-----------------------------------
====================================================================
If you have any questions e-mail me (The link is at the bottom and
follow
The guidelines)
1. I don't understand your guide, what do I do!?
A: Sometimes I might have gone a little bit further, just try to go
on with the game, if you still don't know what to do, e-mail me and
I'll revise the section(s).
2. How do I stop the rain?
A: Play in the sunlight for a while and the rain will go away.
3. There’s this really touch enemy, what’s a good strategy?
A: There’s a couple of reasons it’s “tough”
- You could be too weak
- Wrong weapon/enchantment
- You’ve encountered a rare Crimson enemy. More detail later.
4. Why don't you update?
A: Honestly, I don't like to update once when I submit something.
Other times I lose my game or something similar.
Or I'm just busy with other things like school and TilesNet.
The following questions are from the Boktai official website.
1. Can you not play Boktai at night?
A: Although "Boktai" requires sunlight, you can play at night and in
other situations when there is no sunlight. However, you must have
sunlight when using the "Pile Driver" to purify the enemy boss. When
there is no sunlight, you cannot activate the "Pile Driver" and
purify the enemy boss.
2. Is the solar sensor a solar battery?
A: The solar sensor does not serve as a solar battery that changes
sunlight to electricity.
3. It seems that 1 to 4 players can play the game. What can you do?
A: Normally, 1 person plays the game. With the link cable, you can
have 2 to 4 people enjoy the "link battle." Also, you can engage in
"item exchange" and "emblem resonance."
4. Is there a software reset feature?
A: Yes there is. Press the A Button, B Button, SELECT, and START
simultaneously.
5. Do you have to input the region accurately? What if where I live
is not among the list of regions?
A: The list consists of a lot of regions, so hopefully you can find
somewhere that is close to where you live. If the region and time is
not entered accurately, the time of sunrise and sunset and intensity
of sunlight depending on the latitude, longitude, and season will
not be reflected in the game properly. This could subtract from
enjoying the "live feel" of this game.
