CONTROLS

I basically just used the instruction manual for  this...

A Button: Accelerate

B Button: Crouch

Y Button: Crouch

Z Button: Turbo

X Button: Turbo

R Button: Lean to the right

L Button: Lean to the left

D Pad: Bring up map in free roam
      Change rider during replay (time attack,
      mulit-player)

Start Button: Pause or chose

C Stick: Tilt up- Zoom in
        Tilt down- Zoom out
        Tilt left- moves camera to riders left
        Tilt right- moves camera to riders right

Control Stick: Tilt up- lean rider forward
              Tilt down- lean rider backwards
              Tilt left- turn left
              Tilt right- turn right
*note: use the L&R button to make the rider make turn
      quicker

THE RIDERS

For this section, each rider will have a chart of how they mach up to
others.  In each catagory, there is a possible 6 points.  This <> will
count as one point, this < will count as half a point

Ryota Hayami (beginners and experts)

Top Speed.....<><><><><

Power.........<><><>

This character is not really great in any catagory.  His top end is
good, as well as his handling.  His acceleration is on the low side, but
it is higher than some of the people with a really high top end.  All
and all this character is a good choice for the racing, but for stunt
mode choose some one else.

David Mariner (expert)

This guy sacrifices all for top end.  His acceleration is terrible.
Crash with this guy on your last lap, and there is almost no hope of
coming  back.  You really need to now the courses to use this guy, and
be setting up for turns well before they come up.  This guy is
definately the hardest character to learn to control.

Akari Hayami (beginners)

She is good for your four year old brother, who has little to no control
of the racer.  Her top end is very bad, and her acceleration is maxed
out.  Don't bother with this racer if you can read this.

This is the guy I use when I wanna do some stunts.  He isn't designed
for racing really.  Use this guy to rack up some massive points in stunt
mode.

This is a pretty good character.  Although she isn't maxed out in
anything, she is pretty well suited for whatever comes her way.  She can
do stunt mode and race mode equally well.

Rob Hayward (experts)

Here in my opinion is the best expert rider.  Although he doesn't have
the highest top end, he has better acceleration and handling then Dave
Mariner.  Also he is pretty forgiving when it comes to running in to
things.  He won't come off the jet ski unless you run him into a brick
wal at full speed.

Ricky Winterborn (beginners)

He definately isn't going to be your first choice for a racer.  He is
stunts all the way.  I choose not to use him though because of his lack
of power.  He comes of the jet ski pretty easy.

I tend to use her more in stunt mode than I do in race mode.  Although
she could very easily be used in race mode.
