Intro

Hi, I'm taboo, Resetti, and MALLOW and yes, I am one person with many different
names.  This is my
BRAiN DRAiN FAQ.  This FAQ was made of boredom and long nights of it. It was
made for people that
are having trouble with this game.  BRAiN DRAiN was a puzzle game made by
Acclaim for the Game
Boy in 1997.  It also has the shortest instruction booklet I have ever seen
with four small
pages of information that can be found in the options menu as well.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Game Screen

On the top left of the screen is the preview screen where you can see what you
are trying to make.  Below
that is the side graphic with the time limit, stage number and a picture of a
person doing something. To
the right of the preview screen is the top graphic with the amount of flashes
and clocks. The rest of the
screen is where you will be playing and trying to match your picture with the
preview screens.  Before every
stage the game will mix up the pieces from their original order to another one.
Your job is to fix it back to
the way it was.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Controls
Select - lets you select new game or password at the brain game screen
Start - selects a option at the main menu and exits out of the option screen
A - selects a option, turns selected pieces clockwise in the game
B - turns selected pieces counter clockwise

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Items

Clock- gives a extra ten seconds to complete the puzzle
Beat a stage in under ten seconds to earn one
Hold A to use one

Flash- lets you skip the current stage
Beat the bonus game with a flash in the sample area to earn one
Hold B to use one

Credit- lets you continue if you lose
Beat the bonus game with a face in the sample area to earn one
Use it when you lose in a puzzle to keep going

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Brain Game

The best part of the game for me, with over 100 levels to play it won't be
ending any time soon.  At
certain parts of the game you have the chance to win a credit or a flash, an
item that will allow you to
skip a stage.  In the bonus stages you have to fix a picture of a baby, a
chalkboard or a laboratory.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Brain Race

Here you must complete ten stages of a difficulty level as fast as possible.
About halfway through you
will get a credit.

Brain Race Times

Think your fast? Send in your best times for each difficulty level to
[email protected] under the
subject BRAIN DRAIN TIMES

Color Setups

If your one of the fortunate people who got a Super Game Boy for Super NES then
you're in luck
because I have some color setups for this game! The Super Game Boy was a
special Super NES
attachment that allowed you to play Game Boy and compatible Game Boy Color
games on your Super
NES without batteries, full screen and with customizable color schemes.  I'm
not sure where you can
get one now but you could check online somewhere.  As for these passwords you
can use these at the
top of the custom color screen where it has PASSWORD in dark brown in the
specified stages and
screens. Send your Super Game Boy color passwords for the game to
[email protected] under the
subject COLOR PASSWORDS.
